It was the twenty third of October, 2023, when a young, Spanish teen, awoke in her bedroom, in her Spanish aunt's house. She had wanted to move in with Tony, but she hadn't had the time. He, of course, wasn't there. Why of course? It was the day of their Wedding. So, when the Spanish lass woke up, in an empty house (her Aunt, coincidentally, had had a party the previous night, and had obviously gotten so wasted she wasn't able to return home!), she felt excited, but nervous. If she'd thought she was nervous when she'd been planning it, nothing compared to the feeling that was bubbling in her stomach, heart and head. She didn't know what to do. What time had Asha said she and the bridesmaids where to be at her house? She couldn't recall, but she couldn't even get ready herself. She had to get up, get dressed, eat. She got dressed in a shirt and worn out jeans, and converse. She then lolled on her sofa and sighed. What was she going to tell aunt? Parchment and a quill lay on the glass table in front of her. 'Aunt. Going no where of your concern, just getting married to Tony. Love, Xenia. P.S. I'm moving in with him.' She wrote it down, and left it on the table, walked out of the house and into a cab Asha had hired for her.
Xenia was interested in seeing what the inside of the vampire's home. She lived alone - it was inevitable when you where born in the 1800's. She walked up to the door, about to knock, when Asha opened the door, ushered Xenia out and back into the cab. After two stops along the way, the cab was full of one bride and three bridesmaids.
“A church, an actual church?” Xenia quizzed as she looked up at the old, decorative building. It was old, granite - exactely the type of place Tony would choose. She had to admit, she liked it - decorations lined the walls, only taking a break at the old oak door that would swing open and closed when you walked through. Definatly Tony style. She didn't realise she had a great big beam on her face, sweet, her eyes adoring. It was obvious this was going to be one hell of a day. She could've stayed staring at the building for the entire day, but after the vampire realised Xenia was transfixed, Ash dragged Xenia out of the car. She seemed to know what she was doing. She led them through a hall (after looking inside the ceremony room: a lot of people were already there), and stepped inside a door just like the front one. The carpet was plush and Xenia seen her dress, along with Kaelyn's and Kristin's and Asha's - on a rack. There was a dressing table in one corner. Asha ushered Xe forward, sat her down. She squeezed her eyes shut tightly. Now, Xenia was getting prepared for the best day of her life.

Wedding, flowers, dresses, make-up. Those were the only words passing through the mind of Kristin. Today was one of her closest friends wedding, today was Xenia's wedding. Although Kris hated the idea of marriage, Xenia wanted her to be a bridesmaid, and who was she to refuse? It wasn't her day, it was Xenia's and Kristin didn't want to take that way from her. Xe was marrying Tony Wood, the guy who most definately knew her best, who could make her smile no matter what. Kris pushed the thought away, she didn't think true love would come around to her. To Kris it was impossible, and marriage wasn't appealing to her at all. They did make people happy and bubbly and could bring together anyone, the institution was almost like a ploy. Most marriages ended up in divorce, around every 2 out of 3. Leading Kris to be doubtful about her love life.
However, she wasn't going to dwell on the fact, Kristin had much to do. And being a bridesmaid added more stress and pressure because she was going to hav to help out with almost every little detail. Followed by having to deal with Xenia, who probably wasn't doing well under the stress, but Kris had a plan. More of a back-up plan, than the actual plan, but notheless something to keep from everyone from falling to pieces. However, there was one person who was fussing over this entire thing. Rhys, Kris's absolute best friend, he didn't know anyone and yet she insisted on him coming. She knew he would, but he wasn't coming without a fight. Knowing Rhys he would fuss, and fuss, but either way he was coming. Kristin smirked at the thought, it would be hilarious watching him get angry, and grumble and moan until he decided he would just get it over with and go.
Finally out of thought Kristin looked around inside the cab she was in, with Asha to her right and Kaelyn to her left, she craned her neck to look over at the church. It was large and vast, with an amazing ancient type look. Most likely built around the 1800's. The church was brimmed with decorations, leading to two large oak wood doors, in a cone type shape. Kris closed her eyes for a few seconds and smiled, trying to imagine the rest of the day, with people running around and others standing in awe. Kristin re-opened her eyes at the sound of the cab door opening, noticing the change in scenery she noticed as Xenia hopped in. A grin grew across the face of the young Ravenclaw, she would have embraced Xe and hugged her to no end, but due to th lack of space Kris decided she could do that later. “So, how are we doing today, Mrs. Wood?”
Kris made sure the emphasize the title ‘Mrs. Wood’, knowing that it made Xenia beam everytime. Even if she already was beaming, Kris wanted her to be as happy as possible on her wedding day. And more. It was Xe's right of passage, on her wedding day she deserved to be the center of attention. Then Kristin's mind wandered over to who was going to be there. Xenia's family, Doryen, Demitri— Kris shivered slightly at the thought of Demitri attending. Asha, Kaelyn, of course, Alec, and Rhys. However, Rhys was coming by force. And Garrett. One of the few reasons Kris was going to actually and truly enjoy today, besides all of the energy and excitment. He had known Xenia long before Kris, which of course meant he would have to come to the wedding. Although the grin that had grown across Kristin's face had slowly faded, the thought of Garrett brought another smile to her face. Kris brought her attention back to the time being, as she needed to pay attention to what she was doing. As the cab passed by the church again once more Kris noticed as Xenia admired it. It didn't surprise her that she did, but it was an amazing feeling to be able to with hold so much hapiness and joy. Kristin leaned back, and comfortably rested the back of her head on the leather headrest, and watched to the front of the cab, mindlessly staring at the passing scenery, until they finally reached the entrance. Once they did everyone huddled inside the vehicle stepped out, and procceded to follow Asha. Soon after they walked inside of the church and throughout the halls, Kris peeked into the ceremony room before being ushered into the dressing room. A rack of 4 dresses hung, 3 different colors, and one white which was of course Xenia's. Kristin looked upon her velet purple dress, which she admired much, Xenia did have good taste afterall. Kris walked up to the rack, reaching for her dress and handing Kae and Asha their's as well. She looked around the room before laying her eyes on Xenia's dress. It was dramatic, and costume like. A very excellent choice, as for what represented Xe in everything. Her life, her personality, her experiences. However, Kris only had so much time to get ready and have the make-up artists and hair dressers do what they must with her. Alec awoke groggily to an annoyingly buzzing alarm screaming in his ear. He growled and smashed the button... with his fist. The piece of machinery gave one last final squeal, and died, but not before he could glance at the time. He was just about to close his eyes again for more sleep when he suddenly realized that it wasn't just another day. In fact, it was a very special day. Not for him necessarily, but for a good friend of his. "Shit!" he muttered when the date hit him. It was Xe's wedding, and he is obligated to be there. He wanted to be there, absolutely. But it's more than just that. He is supposed to give her away. Walk her down the aisle by the arm, hand her to Tony, the whole shebang. He continued murmuring a string of unintelligible curse words as he dashed to the shower and got ready. Finally, he got on his tux that he bought especially for this occasion and fixed his tie in the mirror before him. Alec learned a long time ago how to fix a tie. With a mother constantly battered and an abusive father, he discovered he could do a lot of things on his own.
So it was with this that Alec hopped in his car and went over to the church that Kaelynn said the wedding was taking place. He checked his watch to see the time, huffed and walked up the stairs to the giant, ornate wooden doors. He saw that quite a few people were already there, talking amongst themselves. He probably could have joined them, but there were two reasons he really didn't want to. One, he was the guy giving her away. No way was he going to just go an sit in a boring pew doing nothing! And the second reason, and the reason he would never admit, was that he knew Kaelynn wouldn't be in one of those pews. She was going to be wherever Xenia going to be. He probably didn't even know that reason himself. And of course, there was always the fact that he wanted to be there for Xe on her big day.
Alec looked around and saw a more obscure door off to the left down a short hallway. If Xe was anywhere getting ready, it was probably going to be there. Small door, not very noticeable, quick entry to the main lane where she would soon be walking down to marry Tony. He went over to the door and knocked on it. "Stand-in father of the bride is here!" he said behind the wood. Usually he would just walk in without waiting for someone to open it for him, but he wasn't sure if Xe was getting dressed at that moment or not. And he defintitely did not want to just barge in on her if she was. Talk about awkward...
words; 486 tag; Everyone little Xe wants at her wedding!! comments; Omg, XE'S getting married, XD!! And I guess I had more muse for Alec than I thought, lol.

( IT'S REALLY GOOD TO HEAR YOUR VOICE ) { saying my name, it sounds so sweet } the previous evening was more comfortable than expected. the night before a wedding was always going to be stressful and incredibly slow. but thanks to a few helping hands, the night was perfect. well it was missing one thing from being absolutely perfect. the one girl he was practically forbidden to see, just for the next few hours. xenia. it sounded crazy, but tony wood had hardly wasted an entire day without xenia. even their friends, and xenia's small family were pretty used to it. xenia came with tony, and tony would most definately come with xenia. and tony had anticipated a night full of restless, constant thinking and wondering. as much as his best man would try to distract tony, he would and could never succeed. it was obvious that tony was thinking of xenia. not worrying, just wondering what she might have been doing. the hours had stretched on, the sky had turned into a blanket of black. and it, according to the excitement of kevin lott, was oficially the day of tony's wedding. of course it was only two o'clock in the morning. and eventually, kevin and the rest of tony's friends all succumbed into slumber. a thing humans needed. tony however, did not.
he left kevin and the rest in the midst of their dreams, and he wandered into the night, strolling along the street to a church. he stopped just infront of it, and it towered over him, looking like it might fall ontop of him. not that it could kill him. he sighed and saw his breath in a cold mist infront of him. he glanced around the deserted street, and knew that in a couple of hours, it would be packed with friends and loved ones. the decorations were already up, and thank goodness the rain had stopped when they began to put them up. tony admired the decorations, also admiring the unknown person who had designed this church. he headed up the smooth stairs and fitted a key into the keyhole. nobody was aware of this, but tony owned this church. he turned the old key and the door opened, revealing the glorious interior of the church. tony walked in and waited until the door swung softly shut behind him, and he looked around. xenia would like this. xenia would love this. and if she loved it, so would he.
he spent a few hours adding his own personal touches to the lanterns and seats, and made sure everything was exactly spot on. he reached into his pocket and brought out his wand. he pointed it up to the ceiling and he tapped it. from the wand came nothing, but above, the ceiling changed completely. quite like the ceiling of hogwarts. tony had charmed it to give the illiusion that there was no ceiling, only the magnificent black sky, and the twinklng stars clustered around. tony sighed, and tapped his wand again, and then he saw every so often, one of the stars would brighten, and shoot over the ceiling. smiling, tony walked down the aisle and through a door to his right. this was his room, and he knew this because his own suit was hanging behind the door waiting for him. he walked in and sat down next to the window, and watched as the sun rose from it's horizon, and beamed up into the morning sky.
tony was eventually distracted by the soft colours and the sun in the sky. there was movement behind his door. people were arriving. he heard them question why and how the door was open. tony bit his lip, but they didn't seem to worry when they noticed that everything was still in one piece, of not, better. tony walked out and greeted his first guests and they began discussing thigs and asking questions, which tony knew all the answers of. he had been chatting to them for quite some time, and was keeping an eye out on the people who were filling into the church. some in beautiful clothing, some in uniform. tony glanced and saw out the ajar doors that the bridesmaids had arrived. he caught a glanc of xenia, but was pulled by a bulky looking woman back to his room, shouting orders in rapid tounge. tony sighed as his door was shut behind him, and he found the image of xenia in his mind again. there really wasn't much need for a white dress and make-up. she looked breathtaking without it all. but tony had to make himself much more presentable if he wanted to look even half as good as xenia, so he dressed into his plain black suit and looked at his ghastly self in the mirror. Here we go.

"Three, two, one. Wedding day." The voice of Asha murmered in her own house, sheilded by darkness. It waws midnight and officially the day of Tony Wood and Xenia Brapee's wedding day. Not Brapee for long. Asha smirked to herself. Only a few short hours until she got to make Xenia prettier than her usual self. Not that she was usually not pretty. She knew that Xenia was pretty, but Asha enjoyed making people up like they were plastic dolls. And the last time she'd been a bridesmaid was a hundred and three years ago. A long time, but Asha was well known and experienced in the wedding department. Only a bridesmaid once, twice now, in 200 years, odd. It was wierd. She didn't put anything on. Nothing was needed. Everything was at the church, the destination of the grand event, as Asha called it. It wasn't long to her before she'd stepped out of the door, chuckled and flirted a little with the taxi driver while directing him where to go. She greeted Xe warmly as she stepped into the cab, looking nervous, but like she'd smile at anything anyone said. Radiant, glowing. Two stops were made, one to pick up Kris and the other, Kae.She then continued conversation until they'd reached the destination. She stepped out, flanked by Kae and Kris. Xenia? "Come on, dilly dolly daydream! God, you want to be late?" she chuckled, pulling Xe out of the car and dragging her up the stone steps. "Follow me." Asha commanded, proceding down the hall way, seemingly unphased by people who were scattering as if they were royal. When in the dressing room, Ash ushered Nia into a chair. What to do first, hair, dress, or make up? She looked like she was debating. Finally, in one swift movement, Xenia had her wedding dress, and the girls had their's. Asha looked like she was in charge now, and probably was. "I'm sorting Xenia. Kris, you do Kae's makeup and vice versa. I, if you want, will do your hair. Everyone, get changed." Asha picked her own dress up and it was on very quickly. She tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for Xenia. "Stand-in father of the bride is here!" Alec called through the door. Asha sighed and stepped outside swiftly. "Alec. I have a lot to do and very very little time to do it in. Go wait over there, greet people, do something. Don't just wait here. I'll tell you when she's ready. Now GO AWAY." She barked sharply, then slipped back inside the room. Xenia was in her dress. She plonked herdown on the chairs, flicked the straightners and curlers on. "Close your eyes." She commanded. She obligbed and Asha's hands worked swiftly over Xenia's face.

*beepbeep* *beepbeep* Kaelyn woke groggily to the sound of her alarm and glared at it with blurry eyes. She was about to hit the snooze button (or just chuck it at the wall) when she remembered what the day was and shot out of bed. Wedding day! Xenia was marrying Tony Wood and Kae could no imagine a more perfect match. Not only was Xenia one of Kae's closes friends (and dormmate) but she was like a sister. Kae couldn't have been happier for the young couple and had been honoured when Xenia asked her to be maid of honor. As she hurriedly dressed, fixed her hair, and brushed her teeth, she was constantly looking out the window for the taxi the girls would be taking to the church.
During the taxi ride, Kae greeted the bride and other bridesmaids cheerfully, and squeezed Xenia's hand lightly. The ride was surprisingly short and Kae stared in awe at the old granite church. It was absolutely stunning. Once inside, Asha ushered them into the room they would be getting ready in and took charge. Kae had gone with Alec, who, as the stand-in father of the bride, had paid, but Kae and Xenia had agreed that Kae would pick up the dress. Now, as she looked at it, she could just see how beautiful Xenia was going to look.
But then her attention fell to her own dress, a brilliant blue floor length dress. It would make her grey eye look blue and accentuate the vibrance of her violet eye. But Xenia would by far be the most beautiful female there, as it was her day. As she carefully slipped into her dress, Kae chuckled when she heard Alec and was careful to block her thoughts from him. She walked over to where Xenia was, gave her a quick hug, and quietly asked. "How are you, Xe? Excited? It's a beautiful day and this church is absolutely...amazing. You're going to be lovely." Kae took a step back as Asha stormed back in and once again took charge. She placed a light hand on Asha's arm and said, "Calm, Asha. You're going to make our dear bride nervous. We have time. People are still showing up." A small smile lit her face, and then she turned and walked over to Kristen, grinning. They hadn't known each other very long, but that didn't matter. Kae still considered the other girl to be a good friend and one of the few people she trusted. She glanced from the chair to her friend, after Asha commanded them to do each other's make-up. "You first, or me first?"[/blockquote]

Alec tapped his foot rhythmically on the wooden floor, waiting for someone to respond. When Asha opened the door, he opened his mouth, but before a syllable could slip out, she was barking out orders at him. His eyes narrowed and he glared a bit. Next thing he knew, the door slammed in his face. He growled under his breath, then yelled through the door, "Xenia! You're lucky this is your day!" He huffed then turned around. He noticed Tony talking with someone else. He walked over to them both. He turned his attention to Tony and smiled. "Congratulations. I'm happy for you two." He put out his hand for a congratulatory shake. Almost absentmindedly, he searched for Kae's thoughts, but felt himself be repelled. That got his attention a little more. A small smile pulled at the corner of his lip. He hoped Tony just thought it was him being nice, but in his head he was thinking, "She's blocking her thoughts, the little sneak." He was amused by it. She knew he would try, so blocked her mind before hand. Clever girl, he thought to himself.
