Looking upon the farm, it looked so happily working like a well greased machine. Alex shook his head, if it wasn't for his mother he wouldn't be returning home today. According to all of them he was still missing still kidnapped, and he had worked hard to keep it that way until he was ready. Though he wasn't sure he was ready as he starred in the glass bowl on his side table he huffed and it disappeared. Alex knew though he had extended the summer and soon they would be headed off to school so he didn't have to spend too long there without feeling trapped since he had already contacted the school and they said they would allow him to return and complete his schooling that was stolen from him in the past year. Quickly he scribbled the note that announced today was the day to Rachel saying he'd pick her up on the way, and he'd be over in an hour.
It had been awhile since Rachel had gone home that he'd seen her. Alex had rested the summer away in his room above the leaky cauldron, starring at the ceiling and dealing with the nightmares that repeated over every night of fearing for the end. Though he did send her owls every day, and loved reading about how she was doing. But he couldn't wait to see her. Quickly he got dressed and and packed up the clothing he had bought in a satchel and threw it over his back and walked out the door pulling his summer escape closed with the door. Skipping down the stairs he placed a bunch of coins in the palm of the owners hands and walked out the door into the fresh morning sun.
Standing hand in hand with Rachel in front of his childhood home, he was quickly loosing his step and was almost to dragging his feet hoping his parents weren't home. His siblings wouldn't be as bad, at least with them it wouldn't be tears, at least he hoped so, and it wouldn't be grief another hope. He was frozen his finger inches away from the doorbell thinking of what could be awaiting him on the other side of the door and it was making him think of turning around and walking back to the leaky cauldron and just wait for school to begin, but he knew Rachel probably wouldn't let him, which is why he closed his eyes and hit the button hearing the chimes on the other side of the thick wood door, he flinched as he waited for the door to open, but it took a little while which made him think no one was home and that would mean he could just come back later and was about to try to convince Rachel when the door swung open.
||Sorry Rachel for dragging her in there, I just wanted to reach the home so that we could get this going I knew if I gave him time I would have changed his mind..||

Rachel groaned in annoyance as she heard tapping at her window. The girl unburied her face from the pile of pillows and spotted Alex's owl at the window. As she blew her bangs out of her face, she mustered up enough energy to roll out of bed-literally-throw on a bathrobe and let the owl in. The fluffy messenger ruffled its feathers, dropping the note in her hand and landing on her shoulder when she opened it. Rachel's grin widened at Alex's neat handwriting and stroked the owl's chest feathers, scribbling back a reply saying she'd be ready and sent it off.
It felt like an eternity since she had seen him, it had been driving her nuts. She hated being away from him for long periods of time. It positively unnerved her. Especially because of what she had saved him from. Death Eaters. They were everywhere by now. It was crazy. She sighed again and pulled out her wand, pointing it at her hair and it immediately fixed itself into soft curls, which then flew around as she dashed around her room, gathering things into a small bag just in case and tossing it across the room onto her bed. She dashed into the shower, ignoring Will and her other siblings in the hallway, and cleaned herself off and dressed, easily done with plenty of time to spare until Alex arrived.
Rachel stood patiently with Alex outside the house, slightly intimidated by the Finnigan estate, but her hand in his made her feel a little better. Well, this was unnerving. She had met the Finnigans once or twice before, but that was awhile ago-before she and Alex started seeing each other. Rachel felt him flinch at the sound of the chimes and she wrapped her free arm around his waist, leaning close to him and kissing his cheek gently. "It'll be alright love, if something should happen I'll take you back, alright?"
((its ok, sorry for the late reply... T.T))

The day was on average one, like any other. This description was of something assumed more than it was a certainty though, however, because even though today his twin was coming, today of all days Alex was coming home, Michael could feel deep down that this event however small and insignificant it may seem might well change the fabric of the very lifestyle he'd been living. The one that had become his life since that period of time during which the Slytherin's absence had begun. No, imagining that light chit chat and a pleasurable long-time-no-see sort of air would permeate the atmosphere during the act of Alex calling really wasn't that realistic. Mike always saw things and people for what they were, despite the description he had appropriately earned as a dreamer; and if this got him called a pessimist sometimes, too, why on earth should he give a care? The blond sprawled loungingly across his favourite arm chair with his legs draped over the side in the very way that usually had Mrs. Lavender Finnigan scolding and which he knew was a characteristic of his that she always would dislike. Mum didn't have much patience for little things she normally could good naturedly bear and withstand--the cause of frazzled nerves no doubt, as well as a heart constantly palpitating with nervousness. Alex had always been considered the more exciting twin, the rebel, even though Mike was not nearly as saintly as mommy dear would like. Today though, as well as probably for many days from here on in due to anxiety he had unintendedly caused with his long disappearance, any and all of Alex's faults could be forgiven and would not be dwelt on very much. What Mike expected to be the outcome of today was more along the lines of this; his brother's overly anticipated arrival would set off a good deal of exaggeratedly unnerved questions and lots of kisses & hugs, more (from the parentals and perhaps Bonnie much, much more) than a few demands as to the Slytherin's health, and a whole lot of drama. Michael hated drama--even though, with his intense and normally unexplainable mood swings, the boy was often the cause of it. Michael had missed his brother; of course he had--he had worried himself sick. This, however, did not mean that the seventh year was ready to face the intense and no doubt emotional reunion the lot of them would soon be sharing, even if he was completely glad and relieved that he would be seeing his older brother in one piece once again. The door bell rang and feeling a little tingle run along his spine Michael slowly, leisurely, got up. The irritating thing rang another time as he made his way to answer the door, wondering while in the process of doing so as to the outcome of this little family get together (in addition to Rachel, too), turning the knob slowly. The door swung open on its slightly rusty hinges with unecessary hesitation. And then, as if it had only been yesterday that he had last seen the brother who had been born but a few minutes before is own arrival into the world, Mike got a good look at Alexander and drawled, "Well, well, fancy meeting you here. Long time no see."((OOC: I modified my post since I understand the info better now ! and am back from camp. and umm, i'm wondering if I should delete this since I feel like i'm getting everything confusing with being ignored. let me know what I should do, shankss.))[/i]

How long had it been since she’d seen her brother? For a long time Bonnie had kept an enchanted calendar that had counted the days and minutes that Alexander had been gone. Even though he had left the house angry, she knew that he would not have left her for a year without a reason. It wasn’t that they were best friends, but he was still her older brother and his disappearance had shaken her completely. Really, the whole Finnigan family had been changed because of Alexander’s disappearance. For the few weeks that they thought he had run away, her father had been grumpy and upset and her mother had been weepy. However, as it became apparent that Alexander had been kidnapped her father had just become sullen and removed.
All day Bonnie had been sitting at home reading, although she really hadn’t been able to concentrate on her book. In fact, she had just been turning the white pages of the book back and forth for the last hour. Of course she had plenty of time to finish her summer reading before school began again, but it would have been nice if she would have been able to take her mind off of the anticipation that was running through the house for just a minute. Bonnie knew that Alexander was returning, but she hadn’t figured out what her emotions would be for when it happened. On the one hand, she was angry with him for being stupid enough to get himself kidnapped, but on the other hand she was just so relieved that he was safe.
From inside the living room she heard loud ding which was the enchanted alarm letting her know that someone was approaching the house. For a moment Bonnie hesitated, it was probably a squirrel or something jumping at the height of the censors, but she knew that it couldn’t possibly be that. Alexander was here. Bonnie was suddenly stuck to her chair and her legs felt like lead but she forced herself to get up. She gently pushed a few strands of red hair behind her ear and walked to the door. She peaked through the peep hole and there he was, standing with Rachel whom she had met maybe once before. He looked just as worried as she was, and she knew he hadn’t rung the doorbell yet. After another moment’s pause, Bonnie opened the door and stood there looking at him. “Alex? Oh I’m so glad you’re safe!” She said, throwing her arms around him and pulling him into a hug. She didn’t care if he was disgusted by it, and she wasn’t exactly sure where the burst of emotion had come from, but she did know that she was feeling incredible relief for the first time in a long time.
(ooc: I ignored Michael’s post, is that alright?)

[ooc; I'm just going to rearrange a little, say bonnie opened the door but Michael showed up right after words cause it flows..] "It'll be alright love, if something should happen I'll take you back, alright?"
The last thing he saw was Rachel, being sweet as ever. "Th-" cut off by his name in front of him, he froze. “Alex? Oh I’m so glad you’re safe!” Before he could even look back at the door arms were thrown around him almost knocking him back a step, he let go of Rachel's hand for a few seconds as he held his sister, he had missed her. Today he didn't mind this so much, even though any normal day he would be gagging, and trying to claw her off of him. It was nice to smell her hair, his little sister was really here. He was home. Quietly he whispered something only between them two. "I missed you too, I wont ever let this happen again. I'm so sorry Bonnie." Though they should both know he would never say out loud, but he knew now to tell people how you feel you may never get another chance.
"Bonnie you know Rachel right?" he said feeling a little suffocated, as he noticed his twin at the door over Bonnie's shoulder, laid back and calm. Well at least nothing changed in him, Alex would hate if Michael would fall apart like this, then something would be terribly wrong, and it wouldn't be home. "Well, well, fancy meeting you here. Long time no see." With a smirk Alex slightly nodded. "Sorry I had a detour to get here, it took longer then I had planned." nonchalant sarcasm rolled off the tongue. He knew he'd be getting a look from Rachel but he worked at pulling away from the jaws of life it was starting to get hard to breath. He also wasn't so fond of being trapped feeling that was starting to creep up on him, he still had nightmares.
Slowly he slide his hand back into Rachel's, feeling her delicate fingers interlace with his. "Rachel, steered me in the right direction. She's the reason I'm home, I wouldn't have made it otherwise." he said looking at her for a moment, and then returned his gaze back to his siblings. He had missed them both more then he would ever let on, but he had gained a new appreciation for them both. but at the moment he wanted the attention on some one else for a little while, so he couldn't breath a little, and a little more time to really let his head connect with the smells and sounds of home. This wasn't a dream, this was real.
"May we go inside?" he said noticing a passerby starring at them, glad none of them had said anything about magic at the moment, or where he was. It wasn't like there weren't wizards around, they just shared the street with the muggles. Very curious muggles, who needed lives else where instead of spying on there neighbors visitors. though the facade started at the front of the house, and they couldn't see anything past that, it was a genius spell and it kept every thing quiet and secret, just the way wizards preferred magic, secret. Or all havoc would break loose, and chaos would persure.

“Alex? Oh I’m so glad you’re safe!”
Rachel blinked as Alex was attacked by a brown-haired girl who emerged from the house. She watched as his hand left hers and she smiled, crossing her arms over her chest in the meantime, her hands starting to feel a little bare when they're not in his. Rachel smiled and watched the two of them closely, watching as Michael Finnigan appeared in the doorway behind Bonnie, smiling slightly as Alex's twin watched the two as well.
"Bonnie you know Rachel right?
Rachel chuckled, smiling slightly at the younger Gryffindor and waving slightly. She'd seen Bonnie around and they had talked a few times, but it wasn't until Alex went missing that they actually got closer as friends. Bonnie probably already gathered that Rachel loved Alex and from what Rachel gathered she seemed fine with it, but she was still a little nervous about being with his family. Her nerves were silenced once Alex released himself from Bonnie and placed his hand into hers again, she smiled again, feeling much better.
"Rachel, steered me in the right direction. She's the reason I'm home, I wouldn't have made it otherwise."
Rachel looked back at him when she felt his eyes on her, giving his hand a squeeze and turning back to his siblings when he did. She knew he missed them, and she knew it was best for him to reconnect, but she sensed he was nervous about his parents and she couldn't blame him. The brown-haired girl bit her lip when she saw the muggle watching them and followed Alex inside when the Finnigan children all went in. She kept him close and felt the hair stand up on the back of her neck, getting nervous as she entered the Finnigan home. Oh this should be interesting...

Michael couldn't help a brief chuckle at the sarcasm his twin brother put forth. It was rather amazing--amusing, too--to think that Alex was still capable of such a thing, bantering like he'd just come back from a few weeks of staying at Rachel's rather than having been kidnapped for a year. For a reason he wasn't too sure about Mike would have assumed that any playfulness left in his brother would be gone after all the terrible and serious things he had gone through. The fact that this wasn't the case made Michael smile, because he knew that it took dedication and perseverance to maintain a sense of humour after having gone through a trial; especially a trial such as Alex had gone through. Though he was surprised, Michael found that he should have expected his brother's personality to pull through--dedication and perseverance were two qualities the Finnigan siblings were full of. Mike backed up a bit, leaving room for those at the door to enter the house. "May we go inside?" Pshhh, of course they could! The place was, or rather had been Alex's house after all, and any friend of his was welcome of course, besides a good select amount of Slytherins. It had only been about a year! Even though the younger twin supposed it did feel like it had been longer; ages, actually. "No problem, bro, and welcome back." Michael couldn't exactly say that he was in the mood for any heavy duty brother affection at the moment, even though he wasn't necessarily opposed to it, so he just clapped his older brother on the back. Then gave him a bit of space because he could tell that Alex was feeling transfixed by the environment of the house that he had surely missed and needed a few moments to ponder upon it. Mike knew his siblings pretty well; he was a Ravenclaw, anyway, which meant he was almost always analytical. "Have you ever been here?" He turned to Rachel, a reprieve from the spotlight for Alex. "Do you ever want a tour? Bet you've never seen Alex's old teddy bear up in the closet in his room," he laughed, a sly grin then crossing his lips as a wicked thought dawned on him. "Or have you?"
