( IT'S REALLY GOOD TO HEAR YOUR VOICE ) { saying my name, it sounds so sweet } Summer had passed and the Autumn months had rolled in, meaning Danielle was sent off for her seventh and final year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft a wizardry. There were things she’d miss from the place she once considered home, but over the summer she had created a new home with a man she had fallen head over heels for, as clique as it sounded.
Keaton Flint had once been the very reason for the spite and anger that boiled inside her small body, there was never a decent words shared or a friendly look thrown each other’s way. The day she received the news of her engagement had felt like everything was crashing down, it was only as time passed that things began to improve and by the Christmas Ball, almost a year ago, Keaton had presented her with a ring, one she had flaunted with every chance she had got. Who could blame her for wanting to show that she was happy, genuinely happy with someone.
For someone who had never believed in the concept of love, it hadn’t taken Keaton too long to get under Danielle’s skin and before she knew it, she was falling like a sucker. She was only thankful for the weekends, the only time she was granted to visit Keaton and the closer Christmas was coming, the more her mother was throwing wedding locations, dresses, cake ideas, everything was coming at once. It just wasn’t healthy for a seventeen year old.
Walking down the cobbled street of Hogsmeade, Danielle swept the long blonde hair over her shoulders and entered Madame Puddifoots, where she had arranged Keaton to meet her. The lack of sleep and stress was taking it’s toll on Dani, anyone who knew her would be able to tell. As she took a seat at an empty table in the corner of the coffee shop, she order herself a tea and waited patiently.

Fresh out of Hogwarts the Flint boy wasn't doing much with his new found life. He was of course a Ministry Official, just like his father had planned for him to be, he had to have one son in the ministry and seeing that Keaton's older brother Marc had become a Professor it was up to Keaton to fullfill the duty his father wanted so bad for his sons. Not only did his dad enforce the ministry upon him, Keaton had sadly got the duty of being a Death Eater thrown on him as well. Of course no one really knew this, not even his own fiance, Danielle Wood.
At the thought of her a small smile spread aross his face as he laid on his bed in his new apartment he had got a few months ago when summer had first started. The apartment wasn't nothing special, but it served it's purpose and was good enough for Keaton, after all right now he didn't need no grand house so he settled for a grand apartment. As long as his beautiful blonde bride was okay with it then he was to.
Back in the day no one would have actually believed that Keaton could love a single person. That he could be commited to one person, which was true, he wasn't fully commited to her but yet he wasn't commited at all to his other "lovers" as his buddies called them. They were just another knotch in his belt to keep him entertained when Dani wasn't around. He had no feelings for them, and yes he truly did care for Dani but sometimes a guy had to do what he had to do.
Rolling out of bed he jumped in the shower. Sure he had considered just going as it, but he still had to impress Dani, to make her breathless every time she wasn't around him. To make her weak in the knees at the sight of him. To make her light headed when he kissed her. Yes, he needed to clean up. Once that was done, Keaton dressed in a button down shirt and jeans and then he was off to Madame Puddifoots in Hogsmeade where he was to meet that fiance of his.
Grabbing the single red rose from the counter and took off. Like all the other times, Danielle had beat him, she was sitting at a table in the corner of the cafe drinking what looked like a tea waiting for him. His heart skipped a beat as he gazed upon her, she was something else, she was beautiful. Walking up to the table he laid the rose on the table in front of her, "For you my love," he said.

( IT'S REALLY GOOD TO HEAR YOUR VOICE ) { saying my name, it sounds so sweet } Time had passed and with time, they had both matured. Danielle was no longer throwing cake at anyone or arguing in the great hall, making a perfect scene for the other six hundred pairs of eyes to gaze at with burning curiosity. After the summer spent lazing around between Keaton’s apartment and her own manor, it had been difficult to fall back into the routine of school, without her fiancée. It didn’t bother her as much as it previously had, but she was still learning to trust Keaton. The day he asked her to give him the chance to get to know him, she took it and was still only getting to know him. If they where going to spend a significantly long time together, then she should be entitled to take as long as necessary to know Keaton before their upcoming nuptials.
In that small period of time when they both attended Hogwarts, she had been aware and almost always notified of Keaton’s wrong doings, like Lisa Green, and a few more that he had foolishly gallivanted with. However, Danielle had forced the thoughts out of her mind. He wasn’t bonded to her, she was willing to let him roam around and screw whatever he wished. She had no control over his personal matters and she doubted that would change with marriage.
It had become progressing more difficult, especially with her current feelings for him. It had been what she feared from the beginning, a reason to why she was hesitant to trust him. Danielle wasn’t one to judge by houses, only because the older the sorting hat became, the more dim witted it grew. However, for years she had known Keaton, for years she had sat back and watched as he tugged on girls heartstrings and suddenly left without a word. It was the one thing Danielle didn’t want happening to her, and now that she was in deep, the risk increased.
Perhaps he was running around screwing anything with an ass and a set of tits, but Danielle could only hope it would come back and bite him in the ass. It made her wonder how he would feel to realize his fiancée was strutting around Hogwarts with her skirt up her ass and sleeping with the majority of the male population. Problem was, what could he do? Especially when he wasn’t around to witness it. That was the problem Danielle found herself in. How could she accuse without proof. Therefore she blamed herself and her lack of trust for Keaton, forcing the guilt to wash over her.
When her sapphire blue eyes fell on the handsome figure that continued to approach her, Danielle placed the cup of tea back onto the table and watched carefully as he dropped a red rose before her. The smile crept onto her lips as she stared at it, her fingers automatically snaked around the stem, twirling it slightly. Keaton always made the right moves, and Danielle adored every single thing he offered her, every little thought counted. “Thank you,” She whispered, silently admiring the flower’s beauty.
Finally averting her gaze back to Keaton, she maintained her radiating smile, “How are you?” Danielle gushed, curious of her the previous week had worked out for him. “My week has been slightly frustrating. Job searching has been something that’s been playing in my mind for awhile, I was thinking I might consider becoming an auror.” The blonde admitted, feeling slightly proud with her decision. If only she’d known that Keaton had been marked, she probably would’ve kept her mouth closed, “What do you think?”

Not many people in Keaton's life were happy about his recent decision to marry Danielle Wood. Sure his family had arranged the marriage and were probably the only ones who supported it. All his old buddies from Slytherin dispised the idea, she was a Wood and he was a Flint. Both had famous Quidditch player fathers, both had fathers who had hated each other once. The whole arranged marriage thing had blown not only Danielle and himself out of the water but everyone else.
Keaton though, had surprised himself, he had not been expecting to fall in love with the blonde devil. They were always mean to each other. Yelling. Argueing. Fighting. And then bam one day it happened, he seen her face go red with anger and he knew somewhere along the way he had fallen in love with her. This knowledge ruined every friendship he had.
Now he found himself sitting alone during the week and some weekends. Drinking alone. Eating alone, doing everything alone most of the time. It was not something he was very fond of. However, during the times he got to see Danielle it made his weeks. What was even better was when she was able to spend the weekends at his apartment. They could be all alone and not worry about getting busted for curvew or any of the stupid rules Hogwarts had. It was always nice; however, he hadn't got one of those weekends for awhile and he was starting to slowly go insane.
Just before he had arrived at their meeting place Keaton had found himself having a full out conversation with his self. That wasn't normal. People had probably been looking at him scared but he didn't notice. He hadn't even noticed he had been talking to him self until the minute he went to open the door to Madame Puddifoots.
Now he was standing in front of his beautiful fiance and all he could do was stare at her. He wished she was around more, if she was it would stop him from being, well a Slytherin and a Flint. He wouldn't want to find company with other girls, he wouldn't want to be with anyone but her, but since she wasn't around much he had to seek his needs else where.
He wasn't like his brother Marc. Marc was the only Flint in history it seemed that could be with only one person. Even his father was unfailful to his mother. It was just how the family was, at least the guys in his family. It left Keaton to wonder about himself. Was he ever going to be able to fully commit to Danielle? He wanted to, oh how he wanted to. He wanted that more then anything but he needed to see her beatuiful smile more, needed to have her in his arms more.
Sitting down he listened intently as she spoke. He was about to respond when his words caught in his throat. An auror. She wanted to become his enemy? Of course she wouldn't have had anyway to know Keaton was a death eater, that was a good thing about being his fathers son, although he is following the rules in his fathers footsteps he had not been completley branded so Danielle would never find out. "Thats a big decision to make," he said smiling at her, "I think you should do whatever makes you happy...after you marry me of course," he added with a smirk on his handsome face.

( IT'S REALLY GOOD TO HEAR YOUR VOICE ) { saying my name, it sounds so sweet } It hadn’t been hard to notice the significant change in their lives since the engagement. Although it had been arranged, Keaton had went out of his way to publicly propose, to announce to the majority of the Hogwarts population that their engagement was legitimate. Danielle hadn’t expected it in the slightest, nor had anyone else, but nevertheless, it was the night of the Christmas Ball that Danielle had realized there was much more than just arguing and yelling to their relationship. They actually had a chance.
However, while their relationship grew strength by strength, their relationships with companions slowly weakened, especially on Keaton’s behalf. While Danielle’s friendships had been strained, this year had been her chance to strengthen them once again and since Keaton wouldn’t be around, it had meant it was all she had to focus on while at Hogwarts. Her weekends however, she gave up to spend her time with Keaton, exactly what she needed after a week of hard work.
Their weekends had always remained private, usually out for something to eat and then back to Keaton’s apartment, but those fond weekends had slowly been drawing to an end due to how caught up Danielle had been with school and not to mention wedding plans. People advised time apart made the heart grow fonder, that it did, but it also strained the relationship itself in more ways than one.
Danielle didn’t want to be the wife who followed her husband, checked her husband’s pockets when she hung up his coat, argue over lip stick stained collars. No, she didn’t want that. She had been promised a life of happiness with Keaton, and maybe that’s what they deserved. After years of hate and resentment, it was time the years of happiness and love to come by. Surely, she would grow tired and her suspicions would fade, allowing her the peace of mind and to live through her marriage without infidelity complications.
Choosing her career had been a big step, a milestone in her life, and yet she still found herself wavering from occupation to occupation. What did she want from life? She would continuously ask herself, and while Katie Wood would tell her daughter that once married there would be no reason for work, no time. But why so? Danielle had always been a power woman, and while she wanted to get married and have children, she didn’t want to do so immediately. She wanted to live her life first, who could blame her? And Danielle was only thankful Keaton could see her point and here values of life.
Smiling, her cerulean blue eyes beamed, “Well, I haven’t decided just yet, I’m looking for options.” The blonde woman admitted, looking towards her fiancée, “Marrying you is the first thing on my list, and my mother’s too it would seem. She’s determined to have me married off by Christmas and it’s already November.” There had been a clear contrast between changing tones as her sentence continued, “However I was planning the wedding around February, while she’s off planning the whole arrangement for December. I have everything ordered and put aside, the place, the dress, the cake everything, just not the time.” Trailing her fingers through her long blonde curls, she leaned over the table slightly and placed a small kiss on Keaton’s lips, “You’re what makes me happy.” Danielle whispered to him, every word that escaped her lips revealing to be true.

As the conversation turned to the wedding Keaton smiled at his beautiful fiance. Danielle was something else. Keaton had never known a girl who could put up with him and so easily trust him, though he sometimes got the feeling that she questioned his loyalty to her, and for a good reason to. Keaton had another girl on the side. Well, a few actually, but only one that he seemed half way interested in enough to keep her around for some more fun times in bed. At first having this double life was difficult with Danielle coming around every weekend. It was hard for him to pretend to be one hundred percent loyal and not be as well as it was for him to do his fathers dirty errands with her around. Not that he didn't enjoy the time with her.
So far most of the time they spent was always talking or just cuddling. Keaton however was having issues with that. He needed more out of the relationship. Yes it was a typical jerk move but who could blame him? He was planning on marrying this girl and he hadn't got much out of her yet. How did he know they were compatable in every way like they claimed to be? He didn't really know that. Sure the heat was there when they kissed and the want was to but nothing had ever been done about that. Sighing he looked at her.
"I think the wedding plans should be up to us, not our parents. If you want to marry in February instead of December then so be it. The sooner the better though my love, I think it's about time I make you all mine," he said with a devious smirk on his cute face. Sure he said it like a joke and as if the idea of not having her in his bed like he wanted wasn't a big deal.
Keaton wasn't one for wedding plans. Let alone any plans at all. He seen that it was all up to the girl to plan. Wasn't the wedding part for them? He could easily get married in the ministry dressed in his usual every day clothes. The wedding junk with the dresses and the fancy smancy stuff was all for the girl, so they could have their dream wedding. However Keaton knew better, if he didn't show an interest in it then Danielle would feel as if he didn't care. "So tell me what all you have planned, I'd love to know."
