so an idea came to mind. we know the basalisk died, but how about this? it layed an egg before it died, and the egg hatched and grew. nobody knew about this until a muggle-born was found petrified (or dead) in the corridors of hogwarts. and the basilisk is hidden, and protected by the chamber of secrets.
so whatsay we have a few mud-bloods getting petrified here or there? and how about some saviours go down there and finish the basilisk once and for all?

well we first need kelsey's permission, we can't have loads of muggle-borns being petrified without her knowing. so i shall ask!
