Michael has shown Annie some of the less pleasant words to use in sign language. Little by little she has caught on, and now they can talk all the time without getting caught. Although he is younger, he will always be trying to talk her into doing things that could get them both in a little trouble. Most of their adventures lead to them sitting somewhere and talking for hours at a time. Michael is not afraid to use his real voice with Annie, she never makes fun of how he really sounds. Michael would cherish her friendship! Good?

Nani's a cheerful, happy-go-lucky little Hufflepuff that absolutely loves making friends but doesn't really have a "best friend". Maybe they could work their way up to that? Just start out as friends and get closer as time goes on?

Nani! I love this idea. I am all for it. Would she already know sign language, or would they "talk" by writing back and forth? The writing could be interested, and make role plays different. But, I shall leave it up to you. Working up to the best friend status is perfect.
