Rose wandered the Dungeons without worry or care, just wanting to explore the other areas of the castle then the usual places she stuck to. She would avoid the North Tower and the Black Lake. And the Forbidden Forest. Those were her usual places. And, of course, the common room. Tonight, her dwelling would be somewhere in the Dungeons. Rose had to figure out an exact spot for herself to call her own. Someplace no one else stayed in, no one else knew about. While prancing the hallway on her tippie toes, she spun and looked around again. It was dark and slightly cold, making Rose thankful for the long sleeved shirt she wore. "Geez. I gotta stop spinning. It always ends in injury." she thought and laughed slightly at herself. She found her own spaz attacks quite humorous. Rose looked up from staring at her feet to notice that she was alone in the hallway. There had been at least one or two other people walking around, but now they were gone. Being alone didn't bother Rose at all. She didn't mind being alone, nor did she care if a few people were around. She just didn't want the hallway jam packed with people. That would bother her. Feeling a little light headed, Rose retreated into a nearby bathroom to splash some cold water on her face. The water did make her feel better, but then she heard something. Something that sounded like whispering. And then everything went black. Rose woke up on a cold wet stone floor, her hair matted all over her face from the fall. She moved it away from her eyes so she could take in her surroundings. It was dark and cold. Just like where she had been. But this place was darker, colder, and wetter. Rose could barely feel her lower body. She felt as though she fell from a 4 story building. I probably fell about that much... she thought, rubbing her thigh. Rose stood up and leaned herself against the wall. She saw what looked like a vault opening. She banged against it, and behind it sounded quite hollow. "Hey! Hey! Can anyone hear me?! Help! I need help!" Rose yelled and tried banging again. She kept repeating this, just until a small hiss sounded behind her. && tagged --- Doreyn! =) && words --- 403 && outfit --- here!&& lyrics --- “airplanes” by b.o.b. && notes --- help! lol && credit --- 20shadesOFblack of CAUTION 2.0!

As much as she dislkiked having to walk back through these cramped, memory-filled corridors of Hogwarts, she knew that she could never really leave without a few visits. She wasn't visiting the castle itself, no way. She was here, meeting up with friends who were still here. Trapped, threated like children. This would have been Doryen Goyle's second attempt at Seventh year. She was more the age of a Teacher now, than a student. But she knew that if she kept that green tie on with the crumpled white shirt, she'd still be viewed as a child. Or an unexperienced teenager. But she wasn't anymore. She was an adult. She was eighteen for christ sake. She was finally free from her father, from his wife, and from those children that she brought along with her. Doryen was always making it very clear that she despised her step-mother. And the baggage she had with her. And in this hatred for the woman, Doryen was, near enough, disowned by the Goyles. She didn't mind. Doryen knew she was never to be a Goyle. She'd take back her mother's maiden name. Greengrass. It felt better. Right, to have something of her dead mother.
As Doryen walked slowly through the halls, passing students who eyed her skeptically, most likely wondering who Doryen was, and if they'd known her, why she wasn't in uniform. Doryen only absorbed the glances given. She didn't address anybody, but stared infront of her, not really seeing where she was going, of course. She rounded a corner, fists hidden inside her pockets, and she saw a girl, swaying and staggering around. Doryen stopped and watched her as she headed for the abandoned bathroom. Doryen followed. The girl wasn't stable. She might collapse. As she came to the slightly ajar door, Doryen waited, didn't go in, didn't look in. And there was an odd noise. Doryen recognised it immediately. Parsletounge. She spun on her heels and burst through the door, but there was nothing. Doryen looked to the sinks and saw what she had expected. The sinks had parted to reveal the entrnce to the Chamber of Secrets. She slid through the marble and looked down, and only saw blackness. She sighed and stripped off her jacket, flinging it aside and grunting under her breath. Why was it she that always found the people who were in some kind of dilemma? She looked back down the hole and she leaped into the unknown, and then her back fell roughly against the edge of the hole. But it wasn't a hole. It was some kind of sloping tunnel. A slide. Doryen yelled in both pain and fright. God only knew what waited at the end. Ad then there was some light, and she flew out the end of the tunnel, landing ono the ground. She grunted and rose to her feet, glancing around and pulling out her wand. She scraped her fringe back off her face, and some dirt was left on her forehead that she was oblivious about. She continued along another tunnel, and then stopped, hearing a voice. ""Hey! Hey! Can anyone hear me?! Help! I need help!" Doryen picked up the pace, jogging towards the hidden voice. She came to the next vault that was locked by enchanted snakes. She sighed and tried to think, but with no luck, and the person in need of her help probably just behind the vault, Doryen called, "It's okay! I'm coming to get you!" She tried to sound as if she knew what she was doing. She held her wand tightly in her hand and then it came to her.
She was once thinking about learning some Parsletounge, and had read a few pages on simple sayings. She racked her brains for thr obvious command. 'Open'. And then it sounded in her mind. She licked her upper lip before whispering in a voice that was not her own. She sounded as if she were being strangled. But it seemed to have done it. The snakes uncoiled and the vault door began to open.

Rose tried not to panic at the hissing behind her. It sounded distant. Maybe whatever it was didn't know she was there. Rose drew her wand silently out of her pajama pants pocket. "Lumos" she whispered. Looking around at her surroundings, her heart began to pound loudly and her mind screamed. Rose had only read a description in a book, but it fit all too perfectly. She was in the Chamber of Secrets. How the hell did I get here?! As far as I know, this place hasn't been opened in over 20 years! Then she heard a yelling on the other side of the vault door. Someone was there! Hopefully someone who would help. "It's okay! I'm coming to get you!" "I'm here!" Then a realization came to her. What if this was a trick? No one was coming to help her, but they were coming to hurt her. Maybe the same person who caused her to enter this place. Rose heard a sound on the other side of the vault that sounded like a choking person. And the vault began to open. Rose's eyes widened with fear. Was she trapped? Someone was here, and something was definetly behind her. She figured she had a better chance with the human being behind the vault door than whatever creature lied in the chamber. Rose raised her wand forward and waited to see whether the person was friend or foe. && tagged --- Doreyn! =) && words --- idk lol && outfit --- here!&& lyrics --- “airplanes” by b.o.b. && notes --- do you think we should throw in some action? or no? lol && credit --- 20shadesOFblack of CAUTION 2.0!

It was rare when you found yourself in a situation quite like this. When someone was pleading, desperate for your help, and you could hardly do anything about it. It clawed away at you, when you knew there was someone in distress, in pain or in danger, and you were restricted from helping them. It was torture to hear the voice behind the vault. Doryen's breath came and went in sharp gasps. Jeez, it wasn't her who needed rescuing, but what could she offer as a rescue? She had no special powers or abilities, nor could she really use her wand to its best. Doryen was a pethetic excuse for a witch. But still, she held her wand tightly in her fist, and raised it high above her head before tapping it, and the tip revealed light. She sighed at the sudden brightness, and having it sting and blind her eyes momently. She blinked a few times before focusing on what was before her.
There was a blonde girl on the other side of the vault. Doryen climbed through the vault, having put her wand between her teeth to get free hands, and she dropped down beside the girl, "Are you hurt? I could try a spell but I think I'd be better carrying you or someth-..." Doryen's slight mumbling cut off when her eyes darted from the young girl to what was right infront of them. There was only a dark shillouette. Just lighter than the blackness that surrounded it in the beyond tunnel. It growned and Doryen flinched slightly. There was a sound of movement. The thing was coming. It hissed, and Doryen gasped, turning sharply away from the basalisk and lifting the girl to her feet "HURRY!" She yelled, trying to lift the blonde into the tunnel from whence she came herself, and Doryen glanced back to see the bigger-than-life snake slithering slowly towards them, it's mouth opening to reveal great, sharp fangs. Doryen took her wand from her mouth and pointed it in the direction of the basalisk, and she yelled, "SECTUMSEMPERA!". The snake backed and screeched in pain, as it was slashed across it's wide neck. Doryen turned on her heels and leapt into the tunnel after the injured girl, and helped her out the vault.

When the girl dropped down next to Rose, she looked at her with a shocked and wild look on her face. "I'm fine, don't worry." she breathed. The basilisk drew nearer still, but Rose refused to panic. She had no weapon of any sorts with her, except for her wand. "Epera Evaneska!!" The flame hit the great snake and it burned for a matter of seconds, until the flame went out on its slithery skin. "Holy shit! What are we gonna do now?!" she yelled as she and the girl started running through the tunnel the girl had come through How would they outrun the basilisk? And could they fight it off? Rose's running was quite good, even though she had hit her leg on the way down. She racked her mind for other spells she knew to be good either on snakes, or just good defense spells. What was there to use?! She looked back at the girl whose name she did not know. As they ran and she yelled: "I'm Rose!" Rose dared to glance behind her and the great snake went to strike. Luckily, both girls dodged the basilisk, but they needed to get out of there quick.((OOC: Sorry its so short, and sucks, but I have no muse right now!!!)) && tagged --- Doreyn! =) && words --- idk lol && outfit --- here!&& lyrics --- “airplanes” by b.o.b. && credit --- 20shadesOFblack of CAUTION 2.0!
