That part was very true. Now, she has been attending Hogwarts for the last two years of her life and she had practically no one. Although she generally enjoyed her rants with Marcus, and the fun times she has with her select friends, she misses the time beofre Hogwarts where she had friends up the wazoo, and people to just laugh with. It was now that she barely had two friends, one of which was going through a depressed stage because of her sister or something.
One Saturday, long after she was supposed to be asleep, Brooke lied awake in bed staring at the celing. She looked from the celing to the old, outdated clock on the wall, telling her that just about everyone in the castle was asleep. Slowly and carefully, she rose from her bed, making sure not to make any noise that might cause her roommates to wake, and went to get dressed. She dressed in her regular clothes for evenings spent the way she was about to spend this one. A red skirt, black tank, red heart belly ring, and a bright red watch which she charmed so it would would even in the magical world. Picking up her bright pink pointe shoes as well as her wand, she eased her way barefoot through the door. Her feet were silent as they danced their way through the empty red carpeted floor, but were a bit louder on the cold stones of Hogwarts.
Silently, she cursed herself as she ran past teacher's offices, her bare feet slapping against the floor, and finally came to her destination, the Room of Requirements. Although, the rules stated that nobody but the DA members were allowed in, nobody followed those rules. Not to mention that the rules also stated that a student wasn't allowed out of bed that late, yet, there she was. Walking in front of the door three times, she imagined a ballet studio, with an extra table to put her wand and all the instuments neeeded to play her ballet and tango. Finally, the door appeared and Brooke hurried in, keeping the door open a crack to see if anyone else was awake.
Charming the instruments to play her ballet song first, she laced up her slippers, her feet automatically adjusting to the shape and stood on the very tip of her toe. She counted to three before the music started and began to dance. As she danced, she suddenly felt like she was back home, with her brother, dancing with him. Most guys hated the thought of ballet, but not him. He loved it. He loved making Brooke happy, and seeing her dance was her favorite thing to do. Of course now he was older and had a job in Hogsmade, which meant they couldn't dance together anymore, but that never stopped her from her solo work. Only now did she wish she had a partner again. this thread is tagged for ANYONE word count is up to a l o t lyrics are by BUTCH WALKER my notes are: outfit! dancee credit goes to BROOKE FROM CAUTION

It was not often that Gabriel could not sleep very well, but there was a girl on his mind and he seemed to not able to get her out of his head. Maybe he loved her? He would like to think that he was in love with someone finally. He had been waiting years for it to happen. He sighed and walked the halls silently, his feet silent on the floor and as he walked, he reminded himself that maybe some music would help him calm down. So he headed up to the Room of Requirement. On his way there, he wondered just how Violet was doing. He missed her so and wished that she could be with him now, her head on his shoulder and his arms around her tiny frame. It seemed like they were two puzzle pieces that just fit together just right. He liked that about her. He also loved her passion for music. It seemed that she was so into music that it really helped calm her down... and maybe that's what he found so attractive about her. Sure, she looked pretty, but he was in love with who she was. As he reached the Room of Requirement, he saw that the door was there and that there someone in there. There was music playing and he looked in: there was a girl in black and red dancing to a charmed orchestra. He smiled lightly and then stepped into the room, his music in his hand. He had been working on a new song, and wondered if this would be the appropriate time to play it since she was dancing. She ended her dance and he clapped lightly for her. "You dance wonderfully." he stated, wishing his Russian accent wasn't so prominent. ______ Words: 300 Outfit: hereNotes: YAY!!

There was no more Hogwarts, or Death Eaters, or DA. It was just her and the music. As she danced, she imagined being back home in London, with her brother at her side, dancing with her like they did when they were younger. Now, it was like she was an only child. That wouldn't be a problem when it came to her oldest brother. But not with her favorite brother. She could never wish him away. No matter what.
Not long after the music stopped, Brooke heard the sound of someone clapping. She turned quickly and sawa Ravenclaw student she had seen in the school on occasion. Although she really hadn't spoken to him much, she had heard about him. Gabriel was his name, she thought. With a smile, she realized that he had complimented her, and in his accent it sounded even sweeter. What was that accent? Russian? She had been to Russia once one summer, with her brothers and loved it there. Walking over to the orchestra and smiling at the boy she said, "Thank you." her heavy British accent prominent in her words. Never in her entire life was she ashamed of where she came from, ever. There was no reason to be. Even if most Brits were hated in other places around the world, she wasn't like all Brits, in fact, she was very different. She looked from the boy to the orchestra before asking, "Um...how much of that exactly did you see?" a large smile coming over her features. this thread is tagged for ANYONE word count is up to a l o t lyrics are by BUTCH WALKER my notes are: outfit! dancee im so sorry it's short i have like...no muse. credit goes to BROOKE FROM CAUTION

The girl seems so passionate about what she was doing, but she seemed like she would reach out and expect someone there. He wondered if she had a partner in her dance that she was improvising around. He smiled at her as she thanked him and then asked how much he saw of it. "Oh. I saw the last few minutes of it. You are very good and very passionate." he smiled at her again and then looked over as a piano appeared in the corner. "Would you mind if I practiced? I have a few pieces you could dance to..." he asked. He would not mind if she said no, since she had been here first, but he wondered if she would let him. It would be very nice of her and he hoped she would say yes.
It had been a few days since he had played since classwork was getting in the way and he was itching to play. He had been playing songs on the desks' edges in class, much to his table-mates annoyance. But he really wanted to play. His mother called it his drug. He couldn't go a day without it, but he would have to write her and tell her that he went a full four days without it, and he chuckled lightly at that thought. He looked back up at the girl and held out a hand. "I am Gabriel, by the way."
