This was her sixth year at Hogwarts. Last year, did not turn out all that well. Isabella's one, actually relationship fizzled to nothing and with that her relationship with her best friend. The one thing she was afraid of and it happened. She lost most of her friends last year by not talking to anyone at all. Plus, she struggled all year with the fact she, an older student, and been cursed by Lily Potter. Isabella had be thrilled to know that bitch was dead. Then, miraculously, she wasn't. Now, she was back plaguing the halls of Hogwarts, and her memories.
This year was going to be different. Over the summer, Bella hit an all time low. She had gotten so depressed to the point where she actually was prepared to kill herself. Isabella hadn't going through with it, obviously since she was now walking around the grounds. Instead, she sought help, a counselor. Now, Isabella had a completely new outlook. She was going to just put herself out there, stop worrying about what everyone else thought and wanted, and do things for herself. Well, we'll just see how well that goes.
While she had this new found sense of confidence, Isabella was still scared out of her mind. There were a lot of what if's looming around in her head. She tried hard not to really think about those. It was her main problems. She was too scared to do anything because she thought into everything way to much, afraid of making some massive mistake. Isabella hadn't set big goals for herself, she was just going to take small steps and make a few friends first.
The only problem is, she didn't know where to start. Isabella thought of starting in her own common room only, she was pretty much invisible there. No one talked to her, at all anymore. She blended in with the table she always sat at. No one came up to her or anything. Depressing, right? Hence the failed attempt at suicide. Isabella was glad she couldn't do it. There were so many things she actually really wanted to do, like get a job in the ministry, travel, get her own house, and get a dog - or something. Dogs seemed better, people don't think you are crazy if you have just one dog instead of some cats.
Deep into her thoughts, Isabella wasn't watching where she was going - like always. She really needed to learn that. She walked straight into a tree trunk. Isabella stumbled back, twisting and landing flat on her face. She groaned, realizing what had happened. She hoped no one saw that. Isabella sighed, almost feeling to pathetic to get up. No, can't think like that, she thought, rolling herself over. "That's gonna leave a mark," she grumbled.
