They had stayed for hours there. The early hours of eleven, and now, the sun was shimmering over the high trees that surrounded them, and was descending through the forest as the minutes passed. The time seemed to fly by all the time. There was never enough to fill in the wonderful moments he had with her. He'd try and be with her always, but there was the issue of something that he would always want more than her, atleast one every week. Blood. It was aching to have to feed during the evenings, knowing she was leaving her alone. Maybe he was just being selfish, wanting her with him at all times, to have her in his arms, to keep her away from harm's reach. But Tony would never help it. He had to be selfish sometimes.
Here they sat at their favourite place, in the meadow. Amongst the grass and beautiful plants and flowers. The colours were magnificent. But nothing compared to the girl that Tony was lying next to. Xenia. They could be in silence for ages, just staring into eachothers gaze, as if seeing into the other's mind, seeing their secrets, seeing the way the other saw them. It was complicated to explain, but there was no need to explain this. As unconditional, and untamable as it was, Tony and Xenia were basking in the beauties of love. He could feel her under his cold arm, the pulse of her blood running through her veins. It should have caused him to feel out of control, his mouth watering with thirst for her blood, but the feeling had faded. He was around Xenia so often now, that he didn't smell her blood as something tatsy. It was a juicy, luxurious perfume scent. Satisfying, but Tony's adoration for the girl overcame his lust for her blood.
Sitting up, Tony sighed and brought his mind to something that had been clawing away at him for a long time. He'd chosen this day to tell Xenia. Well, ask her was the more appropriate way. Tony smiled, assuring Xenia that there was nothing wrong, but he could not hide the nerves that built up inside him. He truly loved Xenia. If she hadn't existed, or if she hadn't chosen to love him in return, there would have been no reason for Tony's existence. He needed her in her life as she needed him. And Tony being old fashioned, he wished to ask Xenia something. He exhaled the air that he'd trapped in his throat. He looked into Xenia's eyes once more. "Xenia ... I want to ask you something ..." he paused, standing up, and raising her to her feet as he did so. He slid his arm around her tiny waist, and looked down upon her. "And I want to do this right," he said in almost a whisper, and let go of her. He lowered himself and bent down onto one knee, and held her hand with both of his. This was probably one of the most important gestures in the history of the world. He froze suddenly, realizing how perfect he'd chosen this moment. She was happy, and well. They were in their favourite place. It was heaven.

Had Xenia already died? Had she gone to heaven without realising it? She wasn't sure if that was even possible. But she knew something - Heaven. That's what Tony was to her. Heaven. And being around him made her smile, laugh, made her heart beat faster than it should of, and her words pulsed with affection every time she spoke. Prehaps it was wrong. She knew at some point in their relationship, he had thought it was wrong, and selfish for him to love her, or even for her to love him, but now she was attatched. In too deep. She was grateful for that. Even at the hard times, he'd been there for her, held her and cuddled her, comforted her. She could only thank him for rescuing her from her depression stage, so bad to suicidal stage. It was so strange, too; he wasn't like everyone else, in more than one way. She spent most of her day with him, and unlike being sick of him, as she would with anyone else, she yearned, craved for more of him. It saddened her slightly when he had to leave. She didn't want him to; not just because she felt as though she needed him, but because she was frightened more than anything else. For you see, Xenia was a danger magnet. She had attracted more danger to her throughout her teenage years than any other time period in her life, and there were two things to be frightened of because of that fact when Tony left to feed. One of the reasons was, she was afraid something was going to happen to her. Maybe Tony wouldn't get back in time. Maybe ... maybe she'd die. If she wasn't already in Heaven, of course. The day was no exception. They were in their favourite place, silence between the two as the sun began and continued to rise. They were laying down, staring into each others eyes. Nothing tragic had happened. The silence was there because there was nothing to say. The feelings were already shown in their eyes, much more than any words could describe. A smile was frozen, embedded on her lips, as she stared into his eyes, feelings and more had long since seeped into them. The only noise between them was Xenia's steady breathing. She had one constant thought running through her head: I love you, Tony. as if she was hoping he'd gain the power to read minds all of a sudden and read hers. He was staring at her as if he could already read them. Being with Tony made time fly. It was no surprise that she jumped when he sat up, then chuckled quietly at herself for doing so. It was late. Or had late passed? Was it early now? Xenia didn't care and more to the point, she didn't care. She watched him and shivered under his touch as he pulled her up softly, so softly, she practically didn't feel it. She smiled at him widely, not believing him when he said it was fine, but not critisizing him for it. She just continued to stare at him wordlessly. "Xenia ... I want to ask you something ..." “Oh, yeah? And .... and what is that?” she asked, her voice cracking after breaking her many hours of silence. "And I want to do this right," he whispered, almost to himself. She watched with a confused expression until she realised he was on one knee, watching her too, holding one of her hands. A fog lifted as she realised the pose, but another dragged over her as a buzzing of thoughts suddenly swarmed into her head. She didn't think she was crying until a sob caught in her throat and tears landed on his hand. “I-I ... C-c-can't ... you and I-I .... Ohmygosh!” she sobbed, allowing the crying to start. It was happy tears, luckily. “Yes! Yes! A thousand, a million, a billion times yes!” she managed to say evenly without stuttering or choking over her words. She crashed herself into Tony, hugging him, blissfully happy. She'd always known proposal was coming, from the time they'd been in her bedroom, when all the crap was still on her walls. They'd both seen it, getting married, in Vegas. She had no idea it was coming today. “Shit.” She said suddenly, realisation hitting her for the third time that day. She looked at Tony, her loving expression still there, but intermingled with worry. “This is gonna be a bitch to explain to Aunt,” she explained. She was sure Xenia's aunt didn't approve of their relationship. She tried hard to get Xenia to look at other people, but she wouldn't. Stuborness, Aunt called it, Love, was Xenia's definition. Being told Xenia was married (and probably moving out) at 16 years old ... It was sure to push her over the edge. “I don't even care.” Xenia whispered aloud, staring into her boyfriend - fiances? - eyes, and leaning forward and kissing him softly. “I love you, Tony Wood. You make me so happy.”

There were times when he felt he should leave Xenia. Not because he didn't love her anymore, or that he'd found someone better. It would be for her benefit. And hers alone. Tony was being far too selfish, in letting Xenia stay with him. He had a destroyed life, and he made it better by being with Xenia. But Xenia had a choice. She could turn her back on him, and he would never enter her life again. If that was what she wished. But as the months stretched into longer periods, Tony began to realize that this was what Xenia wanted, and this was what made her happy. So he gave in, and had spoiled her rotten ever since. Tony adored and cherished the time he had with Xenia. It was so pure and right, although it should be so wrong. He was a parasite! It was against his and his kind's nature to interact with humans, never mind kissing and sharing such intense and passionate feelings with them. Tony could never get Xenia out of his mind. Weather it was the sound of her voice, or the tickling feeling of her hair on his cold skin. Those small things that would seem meaningless to anybody else were what Tony loved most in the world.
He sat before Xenia, holding her hand gently. He hadn't even asked the ultimate question, and Xenia had already thrown herself into his arms, speaking with such speed that he hardly caught what she said, but noticed the words 'Yes' being repeated many times, so grinned and hugged Xenia with as much strengh that he would allow, and he fell back with her, keeping her ontop, so that she lay on him. He watched her and wiped away the tears on her face with his thumb. He knew the tears were not of sadness. Xenia was happy. And she tends to cry when she's happy. Tony only smiled and kissed her cheek. Then the subject of Xenia's Aunt turned up, and Tony merely smiled. "We could ... run away. Or just not tell her." he suggested with a charming smile, entwining her fingers through his. He then sat up with Xenia again, and stood her to her feet with him. He could not take the bright beam off his face as he smiled down upon Xenia. He reached into his pack pocket and took out a small black box. He opened it quickly and took a small ring from it. It was an oval shape, but it had millions of tiny sparkling diamons encrusted all over the oval. Tony repositioned himself, down on one knee again, and gently put the ring onto Xenia's finger. He held her hand with both of his, admiring the beauty of the ring upon her hand. He kissed the ring, and the traced his lips all the way up her arm, to her neck, and then finally, placed a sweet kiss upon Xenia's lips. "So .. Mrs. Wood," He grinned, looking pleased with this new name for Xenia. "When will you like for the ceremony to happen? So we can officially call ourselves man and wife." He added, holding her hands with his, unable to let himself go of her. It was so hard to resist touching her. Tony was magantised to her. He was overcome with joy. Nothing could spoil this. Never.
NOTE: gah! sorry for shortness!

Her heart was going to burst out of her chest with the velocity it was beating at, she was sure of it. She wondered if Tony could hear it right now. Oh, Tony! He'd actually proposed! And Xenia couldn't say no, even if her life depeneded on it. This proved he loved her, prehaps needed her, more than she'd ever suspected. The same way she did him. She actually needed Tony though - to hold her, keep her from harms reach, but most of all, for herself. If it weren't for Tony, Xenia would be rotting in the ground. Her heart beat for him, and for him only. She couldn't imagine him not existing. It was like the most tormented nightmare, the thing she stressed over when he was elsewhere, without her, not by her side. She couldn't help but be frantic with worry, regardless of Tony's tellings that she needn't be scared for him. Xenia was an easily worriable person. Tony should know by now trying to calm her down about that was impossible. She still couldn't believe it. Tony wanted her to marry him. He was serious, as was she. They were two teenagers, technically, and she knew people were going to think they were crazy. At least, strangers would - she knew at least Kaelyn knew how strong their love was, as did Jason and possibly even Alec, being a mindreader and all. Speaking of boys, she wasn't sure what Tony thought of people like Alec and Jason. At times, he hinted maybe they had crushes on her, and Xenia just laughed. She wondered if Tony was jealous. He didn't need to be! She was delaring herself as his wife. She hoped he realised her love for him was far more than any friendship she could have. Every time, it would be difficult, but she'd choose him. He'd always been there for her - held her, even at the hard parts, it was only right she should repay him. But now he'd propsed and, she thought as she fell back with him, still smiling and partially crying, I have no way to repay him. He must think me worthless. Her face fell a little at this thought, but it only rose again at his next words. "We could ... run away. Or just not tell her." he suggested, smiling down on her while she gazed up at him. An even wider smile, probably the biggest one Tony had ever seen on her face, formed on. She was about to speak when she felt herself being lifted again, only to be put on her own two feet Xenia wasn't even sure they were enirely stable to stand on. She caught a glimpse of what was in his hand, a little black box. She watched as he opened it, and only made one sound, said one word: “Oh,” she whispered, the happy tears streaking down her face once more. All she could see were diamonds, brilliant and dazzaling. She watched as he fixated it on her tiny finger, secure, and his lips traced up her hand, arm, neck, and finally, he pressed her lips against hers. She lost her train of thought once more. When he pulled away, he called her Mrs Wood, which she chuckled at. It sounded weird but at the same time, so right. He then asked her when she wanted the ceremony to be. She grinned. “Well, Mr Wood, I'd like it as soon as possible please!” She kept grinning up at him, then it changed to a smirk when she recollected her thoughts. “Two things. If you spent too much on this Tony, I'll not be happy! I shouldn't cost too much! And second ... why don't I move in with you? Then I can tell Aunt after, invite her, and don't put up with groundings or any of her crap. Plus, I can be with you ... even more.” She smiled again, but a pleading shade had entered her eyes. And then it vanished and Xenia looked down on her ring. “It's beautiful. I love you,” she whispered, and kissed his hand softly, her gaze returned to him.

The fluttering of Xenia's heart put a wide smile upon Tony's face. He hoped though, that he wasn't giving her a heart attack. The fact that Xenia was going to be his wife was unbelievable, though he knew it was happening, because, how else could he explain it? He couldn't sleep, even though this was much like the beauty of a dream. He couldn't be dead, or could he? Maybe he'd reached the upmost peak in his life, and was happy with death now. But it couldn't be true. Even though Tony's life was complete, and he wouldn't mind death, he couldn't, knowing he was leaving Xenia behind, and also very aware that she'd be foolish enough to follow behind him. He couldn't risk her life.
Though she was only a young teenager, they needn't delay any more time. There was never a possibility that they would not still be together after years and years. Tony knew he would always love Xenia, and he was sure to say, that she loved him just the same. However, if Xenia were ever to leave Tony, he wouldn't fight it. All he ever wanted was Xenia's upmost happiness. It was complete and utter luck that it was he that brought her that happiness. Tony slid his arm around Xenia's small waist, seeing how unstable she seemed, and was, on her own two feet. A clumsy girl that Tony just loved to take care of.
"If you spent too much on this Tony, I'll not be happy! I shouldn't cost too much! And second ... why don't I move in with you? Then I can tell Aunt after, invite her, and don't put up with groundings or any of her crap. Plus, I can be with you ... even more.”
Tony only smirked at Xenia, "Love, you're worth every penny to my name." And he softly pressed his lips to her head, and then heard her suggestion. He pulled away, but only to see her flawless, glorious face. "Xenia, that would just be the cherry on the cake," and he chuckled, thinking about the way he'd said this to her. He had never in his life said that before, and if he could, he'd probably be going scarlet. "You can move in whenever you want. Preferably as soon as possible." He murmured after their shared kiss. He looked slightly dazed, and in actual fact, he was. Every kiss, every touch, and every breath that Xenia gave to Tony was sheer heaven.

She seen the wide beam that was implicated on her loves face. She beamed back, the smile not near enough to the happiness she felt that was pulsing in every blood cell, every vein, every artery in her small, slender body. Her brown hair fell in front of her eyes as she gazed at Tony. His hands her now around her waist. She brushed her hair out of her eyes, the smile still implanted on her face. She wanted to kiss him, but she didn't: Tony couldn't lost control. She had to be sure to take as much caution as nessacery. That was typically more than usual. Xenia was a danger magnet. Even the softest, most gentle thing or person walking on the Earth, Xenia could find something that would put her in danger or rather, the danger would find Xe. Today was a happy day. She knew that Tony knew that. They lay down again, staring at eachother once more. Both the same - blissfully happy. He smirked at her, telling her she was worth every penny to his name, and kissing her forehead. She smiled again, knowing not even Jaysione could ruin this happy moment, the moment she shared with him. With him, Tony Wood. The vampire that thought so lowly of himself, and with Xenia, a human that thought so highly of him. They were like opposites: Xenia didn't despise herself, but sure didn't like her, and loved Tony, and for Tony she knew, it was vice versa. They're relationship never ceased to amaze her.But that was the wonderful thing: surprises, most good, around every corner. The cherry on the cake. Xenia giggled, it was inevitbly the lamest thing she'd ever heard anyone say, but she didn't critisize him. Tony was a lot older than she, 96 she knew, it was natrual he'd come out with odd and quaint sayings. She knew what he meant, and said the sooner the better, which was excellent. "You can move in whenever you want. Preferably as soon as possible." Xenia smiled. "Don't worry, nothing's keeping me, Tony. I want to spend time with you. I will toda-" she was cut off by herself, as she yawned. "Tomorrow." she decided, laying her head on his neck, her lips gently touching his collar bone. "Take me home, Tony, please." she whispered, and with that, fell into a deep unconciousness.
