Ever since she came to Hogwarts it was all she wanted to do, the reasoning behind it obvious to anyone who knew of her families past. Standing with her back to a tree she would gaze out over the grounds now with a blank expression on her face. So much she didn't know about the dark arts, she would have to try twice as hard this year to learn all she could, never satisfied with what she knew.
Twirling her wand in her fingers like a drummer would with his stick, she would read the letter she had gotten earlier. It was a nervous habit of hers and she had quite a bit to be nervous about. Her high marks didn't go unnoticed, nor did her taking advanced classes. Apparently a seventh year was having some trouble with a few of their classes, however the letter didn't say who. She was going to teach someone older then her, something she'd never done before. What if this didn't work out, would it look bad on her part? She doubted she'd have to do much other then point them in the right direction but still, it brought on alot of pressure.
"They sure are taking their time." she muttered to herself as she sighed and blew her bangs out of her face. Sliding down into a sitting position on the ground she removed a small leather bound book. Carefully she would take out her quill and write slowly, more ideas for spells. So far she had written about fifteen, something that was a hobby was soon going to become it's own spell book. Of course she had not tested any of them or got them to work, this was all theory. "Man, I really need some friends or a life. This is kind of pathetic." she laughed to herself.
For several minutes she'd listen to the gentle howling of the wind, however she felt like there were eyes on her. She was sitting by the edge of the black lake afterall, there were rumors of a giant squid she'd never actually seen herself. She had also read that there were Merfolk down there, but they would rarely have any reason to come to the surface. Yet she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. Shrugging, she would glance around with a mild paranoia before going back to her work.

Life had never been easy on Kelsey. It seemed to downright hate her at times. The past March had been a living hell for Kelsey. She had been through something that no girl in their entire life should have to deal with. She was raped, multiple times, and was used as a sex slave. All of this had been done by none other than Jack Riddle. She felt so used and violated. She thought that she would never escape that bloody vault. However, her father came to rescue her. She never felt so much love for him as she did when she saw that he had came for her. Together they left that vault and Kelsey's nightmare.
It had taken her months to get over what happened but now she was back to her old self. She actually had so many good things going on in her life. It seemed that when she started taking more risks, her life got better. All her life, Kelsey was not much of a risk taker. She would play by the rules and never dare to break them. She used to think that if she followed the rules, maybe just maybe, her parents would love her again. However, as she grew older, she found out that that was not how it worked. It seemed to be that no matter how much she behaved that they would always treat her the same way. Funny, it was only when she started to defy the rules around her that her parents started to love her again. The only real major risk Kelsey took in her life was marrying James. That moment there was when she finally stepped out of her comfort zone and did something she would not normally do. That event right there sent Kelsey into a series of unusual events for her. She started to party, which she would never do, and drink excessively, which she used to be against. Now, here she was, seventeen and pregnant. That was not part of her plan. She used to be against teen pregnancy just a year before and now here she was, pregnant herself. She had changed, a lot. Kelsey sometimes missed the old her. The carefree Kelsey was missing from her. Right now she needed that side more than anything in the world. She needed that side to show her that having these babies would be a good thing for her. Sadly though, she had lost that side to her and didn't know if it would ever come back.
This whole being pregnant lately had gotten Kelsey pretty emotional. She seemed to cry a lot and over nothing really. Her body seemed to be getting larger and larger and there was nothing she could do to stop it. With these new found emotions Kelsey was beginning to have a lot of regrets which were beginning to bother her. There was one regret she had that was bothering her immensely. It was a secret she kept from James, a really big secret. She knew she had to tell him before he found out some other way, but she didn't know how to tell him. Why did life have to be so hard on the seventeen year old?
For the first time in her life, Kelsey hated being at Hogwarts. When she used to fight with her parents, she couldn't wait to escape to the magical castle where all of her family problems seemed to disappear. Now that she had reconnected with her parents and married James, she felt as though the castle was some sort of prison to her. Here she was, confined to the castle walls when all she wanted to do was be at her house with her husband or at her parent's house. Luckily though she got to go home after all of her classes were done. That was the deal she made with her father upon her return to school. She would use his floo network at the end of every day and go home to James.
Kelsey sat in the Ravenclaw common room, reading a book and loving the silence. She really didn't want to get up from her comfortable spot on the couch. However, as she glanced at the clock in the room, she realized that she was late for her tutoring session. The strange thing about this was that she was not the one doing the teaching like she often did. No, someone was teaching her, someone younger than her. Kelsey's father had began to get worried about her because she was failing Transfiguration and almost failing two other classes, which was strange for the girl. So, he hired her a tutor, which she had protested. Kelsey used to have to highest marks in all of her classes and now she was just slipping away. What happened?
Sighing, Kelsey got up off of the couch and made her way out of the common room. Waddling down the halls with her pregnant stomach, she received many looks and whispers as always. Would the children in this school just get a life already? She was tired of being picked on. It was taking a lot out of her. If only she could leave this school and never come back. The red head made her way out of the castle and towards the Black Lake where she saw her tutor. This was just humiliating in her eyes. She shouldn't be needing extra help. She used to be the smartest in the school!
"This is just degrading on so many levels," Kelsey said out loud to the girl, waddling over to her and taking a seat on the grass. She knew that she would have hell of a lot of trouble trying to get up again with her stomach. Only five months along and she already looked as though she was smuggling a watermelon around under her shirt. "Look, you tell no one about this, kay?" Kelsey added, giving the girl a look. Those pregnancy hormones must have been kicking in because the seventeen year old was very snappy and cranky. Sometimes she got them so bad that James would hide away from her.

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x- Five minutes became fifteen as she wrote, however just as she was to turn the page and begin anew she would notice something in the distance. Someone was coming towards her, someone she couldn't really say she recognized from a distance. Tilting her head a bit, she would notice however there was a waddle, which made her raise an eyebrow. The immediate thought in her head was to wonder if they were okay, maybe they had hurt their legs or something. Without really recognizing the person. That thought was all thrown away however in a matter of moments when the waddling prefect got closer to her and she became stunned in a moment of silence.
She was helping Kelsey LeBlanc!? Her brain nearly exploded as her head filled with all sorts of questions, confusion causing anarchy within her normally organized thoughts. Why? How could she be the one who was failing anything? She was a Prefect, the Head Masters daughter, and.. wow. Amy would stare for a moment without meaning to, knowing that it was quite rude. "I.." she began slowly before trying to catch herself and stay calm. This was definitely intimidating to say the least, she had always wanted to be a Prefect or Head Girl herself.
"Wow, okay. So this is very unexpected." she started as she raised an eyebrow. It was probably not something she shouldn't have expected, the first few things out of the girls mouth were snappy, cranky, and a little rude. She would put on her normal smile however and ignore these things, beaming brightly. "Well, I know of you. But as we don't know each other, I am Amy." she said extending her hand speaking in a chipper tone, way too early in the day for such a thing. She'd have to agree with the whole degrading statement though, she had never failed anything she could only imagine that it was annoying to have someone else tell you what you're doing wrong.
"I won't tell anyone what we do here, I promise." she said giggling softly as she put her book back into her bag. "So I guess for us to begin I'd need to know just what exactly are you failing?" she asked slowly putting her hands together behind her back like she was in front of a class giving a speech. "I could already imagine that you don't need much help, just a push in the right direction I guess?" she said looking as if she was thought. Her eyes would drift to Kelseys belly, probably as all peoples did, however she was not judging her for being young and pregnant, she was genuinely curious about it, she loved babies and was one to believe that as long as it is loved there shouldn't be an age where it's acceptable to have one.
"So where do we begin?"

How did she end up like this? When she was younger it would have been her absolute nightmare to be pregnant at seventeen. The younger Kelsey didn't even want to be married before she was twenty five. Somewhere along the way, she ended up ditching all of her old beliefs and fell in love. Love, that was the thing that changed her. It was the thing that made her go insane like she is now. She never knew that she could feel so strongly for one person. If something ever happened to James, Kelsey didn't know what she would do. Was it healthy to be that attached to one person?
Kelsey gazed at the girl then back down to the ground. She sighed, remembering what it was like to be that young and not have a care in the world. The red head felt like she was being forced to grow up. She wasn't ready for all of the responsibilities motherhood would bring to her but yet here she was, herself merely a child carrying two children inside of her. Everything about the future scared her. There was no way that she would be prepared to be a mother by the time her children came. What if she was a bad mother? What if she did something to risk the lives of her children? Truth be told, the seventeen year old barely had a handle on her own life. There was always something terrible happening to her, whether it be because of something stupid she did or just the world being cruel. She was scared that her children would have the terrible luck that she had and she wouldn't be able to protect them from the cruelty of the world. Sometimes she wondered if she was the only mother who felt like this. She knew she wasn't, as James had told her that many times when she was going off on one of her crazy rampages about not being ready for this.
Kelsey still couldn't believe that she was being tutored. It went against everything that she believed in in her life. She was suppose to be the smart one, not the stupid person who needed help. Maybe the babies were sucking every ounce of intelligence out of her until she was nothing but a pile of stupid. Okay, maybe that wouldn't happen exactly, but you never know. "This was all my father's idea. He didn't think I was capable of getting back onto the right track without some extra help," Kelsey rolled her eyes, stating her father's worries. Truth was, she probably wouldn't be able to get back on track without some extra help. She had really lost her way. "But it's nice to meet you Amy. I apologize in advance for any rudeness or any snappy remarks I may make towards you during this session. As you can see, I am pregnant and my hormones cause me to be more than cranky," Kelsey chuckled, placing a hand on her very swelled stomach. It felt nice to be under the warm fall sun for once instead of cooped up inside. It seemed to her that she was always inside, not moving towards the fresh air for some odd reason. Her skin was pale and there was bags under her eyes, obviously not something healthy for a pregnant woman.
"Well, I am most definitely failing Transfiguration badly and I am on my way to failing Arithmancy and History of Magic. I don't need much help in Arithmancy and I really just need to start studying for History of Magic. It is mainly Transfiguration that I need help in. Though I am not sure if you even know how to do the Seventh Year material," Kelsey sighed, revealing her educational troubles. It really did make her sad to think that she was having this much trouble in school. What happened to being smart? That question continued to roam inside of her brain constantly. "I say our best bet is to start with Transfiguration. It will take us the longest, that is for sure." And she was right, it would be the longest because transfiguration and Kelsey never did really get along.
