The past month had been a living hell for Kelsey. She had been through something that no girl in their entire life should have to deal with. She was raped, multiple times, and was used as a sex slave. All of this had been done by none other than Jack Riddle. She felt so used and violated. She thought that she would never escape that bloody vault. However, her father came to rescue her. She never felt so much love for him as she did when she saw that he had came for her. Together they left that vault and Kelsey's nightmare.
After a few days of recuperation, Kelsey was back at school. She knew people were talking about her and saying things but she didn't care. She was just happy to be alive. Kelsey walked the halls, avoiding gazes from everyone. She was rather jumpy, having been taken against her will and scared it would happen again. If someone would even look at her suspiciously, Kelsey would draw her wand and run away. The poor girl was on her nerves and hated it. Of course you too would be on your nerves if you were raped daily for a month. She had even missed her birthday because she was kidnapped.
Kelsey wanted to be on her own so badly but couldn't be. Her father was constantly two feet away from her. He was even more scared that something would happen to her again. Then there was James. He would not leave her side unless forced. She loved that everyone was looking out for her but she also needed her space. She was scared to be alone though. The last time she was alone in the castle was when she was kidnapped. She just wished that she could forget all of this and move on with her life.
Kelsey, finally telling James and her father to go get something to eat and that she would be fine, made her way down to the Black Lake, alone. She wanted to see if she could handle being alone for a moment or two. Kelsey sat down on a bench in front of the lake and just watched it. Spring had always been her favorite time of year. It was a time for new beginnings and new life to form. Maybe this would be the perfect time for her to just let go and start over. As she looked out upon the vast waters she began to think about everything that happened to her. Anger rushed over her like a giant wave as she stood to her feet and grabbed a couple of rocks.
"AHHHHH!" Kelsey screamed in anger as she threw a rock forcefully into the cold waters before her. She didn't think anyone would be around here so she just continued to scream with rage and throw rocks into the water. Tears poured from her eyes as she let out all of her emotions. She had been holding them back ever since she was rescued and it felt good to just let it all go.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - • temporary happiness •IS LIKE WAITING FOR THE KNIFE- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Scorpius Malfoy was your average player. The pride he felt towards himself was irregular and many found the arrogance he possessed rather annoying. But he had reasons to feel this way; the family he came from was one of the bests and his great-aunt was in the midst of taking over the wizarding world. And furthermore, girls all over Hogwarts fawned over him constantly, despite the fact that they were aware of his reputation. So who wouldn’t be vein?
Scorpius Malfoy had proudly gained the reputation he had been expected to have since birth. The arrogant Slytherin was a jerk, loved to move from woman to woman and was loved and hated by many. But along with the hate came respect, not to mention admiration, and Scorpius lived to be in awe of. His father and mother had brought him up well; at least, he thought so. He had been given the best, was taught class and malice, but had unfortunately not been taught how to deal with boredom.
Which was why he aimlessly wandered the grounds of Hogwarts. His thought seemed to not have any particular topic to focus on, until he passed a group of Slytherin girls. Each glanced at Scorpius in an attempt to catch his attention, but he surprisingly was not in the mood to screw around with an attractive girl. When they realized he had no intention of stopping to speak to them, they continued on with their original conversation. A low growl escaped Scorpius' lips as they spoke of the popular rumor that had been flying about Hogwarts: Professor LeStrange had recently obtained a sex slave, and that unfortunate girl happened to have been Kelsey LeBlanc.
Scorpius had often felt sorry for his friend Kelsey; he sometimes thought his life was difficult, but when compared to Kelsey's, he had it easy. It hadn't taken long for Scorpius to hear the news of his uncle keeping Kelsey as his rape victim. Usually, Scorpius would have had no care towards a situation such as this and would even find it amusing. But Kelsey had been affected, and Scorpius had known the girl since childhood. The short period of time where Scorpius had loved Kelsey had passed, and now Scorpius looked at his best friend like a sister. And he couldn't help but feel enraged when he had been informed on what Jack had done to Kelsey; he had even felt protective over his friend.
As he sauntered towards the black lake, his grey eyes automatically moved to a head of fiery, red hair. Both his eyebrows raised in slight shock as the girl let out a loud scream. It was clearly Kelsey, considering he doubted any of the Weasley's had anything to complain about. She continued to pelt rocks into the lake as he paced over to her. "You're gonna run out of rocks soon, Kels - you might as well talk about it."
He muttered, the familiar feeling of concern he seemed to only feel for Kelsey washing over him. [/blockquote][/blockquote] words ! tagged ! kelsey (: credit ! PANIC! ITS LAUZ @ CAUTION lyrics ! heartbreaker by p!nk notes ! blah blah rahr

Sometimes, Kelsey wished that she couldn't feel anything. She hated emotions and hated having to express them. She hated how she felt like an outcast now more than anything. Somehow, news of what happened to her got around and she was now the talk of the school. No one dared to ask her what happened, they would just whisper behind her back. At times, it got so overwhelming that Kelsey was unable to breath. She would just stop where she was and would struggle for breath. James was beginning to get worried about her even more. She tried to act like everything was fine, just for him, but she was having trouble. There was only so much a person could handle.
Kelsey's anger was interrupted by a familiar voice. She moved her tearful eyes to see Scorpius Malfoy. She stood frozen for a moment, not knowing what to say to him. Scorpius was about one of only a few of Kelsey's real friends. He had been there for her since she was little. Sure he had a reputation and many people thought something romantic was happening between them. Hell, James didn't approve of their friendship at all. It was probably mainly because of the fact that her and Scorpius used to have a small romantic relationship. She still felt horrible of how she just broke everything off with him to run away and get married with James. Kelsey didn't even really remember telling him it was over. However, their friendship had survived that and she was happy.
"Oh I think you know what happened! It seems everyone in school knows!" Kelsey retorted, her anger swelling in her voice. She threw one more rock into the water and watched as the water splashed into the air and then went back rest. A few more tears trickled from her eyes as she stood there, gazing angrily at the water. Kelsey began to collect her thoughts, trying to let something other than her tears out.
"Why does this always happen to me?! Every single time things begin to become good, something seems to mess them up. I feel like such a whore," Kelsey chocked out in a quiet voice as she fell back and sat on the bench. She put her head in her hands, trying to stop crying. If only things could get easy for her. At this rate she was ready to just crawl into a hole and spend her days away from everything. She knew that it was not right to run away from your problems, no matter how hard they were. Maybe she wouldn't come back to Hogwarts after this year. Sure she needed to finish her N.E.W.T's but her emotional being couldn't handle the small school anymore. She could probably get some okay job and her father had money saved up for her that she could use. Besides, James would probably get a Quiditch job so they would be set for money and since her and James were soon going apartment shopping she would have a place to stay. Though she loved to learn, maybe school wasn't the right place for her anymore.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - • temporary happiness •IS LIKE WAITING FOR THE KNIFE- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Scorpius had always been the conceited asshole people expected him to be. It made perfect sense, considering that was the reputation his father had been given at a minor age. But, seeing as Scorpius continued to strut around like an all-to-proud peacock, he didn’t seem to mind what people thought of him. He couldn’t blame them for their opinions; arrogance flowed through his veins like blood. And his manwhore tactics had quickly developed into something that people were familiar with. Women and sex were the key to Scorpius’ happiness, and Scorpius was keen towards being content.
However, his thoughts had recently begun to move in the opposite direction. After he had engaged himself in another aimless argument with Tasha, a Slytherin who he sometimes disliked immensely, her words had gotten to him: "And what have you got? A load of flings with girls - proving yourself never to be stable. And when you meet a girl you really like, she won't take you because you're a manwhore." People told him this all the time, but for some stupid, perturbing reason it had bothered him. He refused to acknowledge the fact that Tasha’s words may have been true – if he did, someday, find a girl he truly loved, he wouldn’t be able to blame her if she didn’t trust him. And as much as he had debated on how he would begin to change his ways, it was difficult to change the tactics he had been living since his early teen years.
But changing his beliefs was the least of Scorpius’ worries. He had recently had a wave of anger wash over him because of Demetri’s little sister. His father, who had never questioned any of Scorpius’ actions, had sent him a letter a couple days ago concerning his last encounter with Helena Greyback. Clearly his uncle, someone who he had never favoured, had told his father about the situation. And who did all of this lead back to? Well, of course it had to be Helena. And he had been rather perturbed with her; Scorpius had never liked Jack very much, especially at the moment considering the man was being rather hypocritical. Scorpius knew the man had had his fair share of rape victims, especially when it came to one of his best friends, Kelsey LeBlanc. No matter, Scorpius had already sorted out the situation and told Draco that it was all just one, huge misunderstanding. He knew his father would believe this, and even if he didn’t, Draco would never disagree to Scorpius’ lie seeing as Draco was obsessed with not causing any negative attention upon the Malfoy name.
Scorpius could detect the anger the had developed in her voice from her retort. He supressed a snide comment; he had always been one with a quick temper, but he realized he couldn't blame her for being upset. "No one seems to be talking about how you got him back; if I were you, I would have murdered him."
He growled; it was clear that he was not very fond of Jack. Kelsey's next words were barely audible, but Scorpius managed to pick up on them. Her last comment resulted to Scorpius left in a state of wonder; why did the horrible things always happen to her? It was if her name was constantly being picked out of a hat when it came to who unfortunete situations would affect. "You're not a whore - Jack is just an ass." He muttered, accompanying her by sitting down on the nearest bench. [/blockquote][/blockquote] words ! tagged ! kelsey (: credit ! PANIC! Lately, Kelsey had been very emotional. With everything that had been happening in her life it was becoming overwhelming for her to deal with. The tiniest little thing could set her off in an out of control rampage of tears or anger. She hated being like this. All she wanted was to be her old self again but sadly not even she could be that anymore. Too much had happened to her and sadly, she had really lost who she truly was. Time is what she needed. She needed more time to figure out who she was and what should she do now.
Before everything that had happened, Kelsey had stopped drinking. She was an alcoholic and was trying to quit before she was kidnapped. Even after she was rescued she had not touched a drop. However, lately things were becoming overwhelming and she found herself heading back to the dear old vodka bottle. It was one of the reasons why she wanted to be alone right now. She didn't want to worry her father and James with her drinking and was craving one so badly right now. Not caring that Scorpius was before her, Kelsey reached into her bag and pulled out a small silver flask filled with vodka. She opened it up and took a drink. Kelsey felt the familiar rush come over her and she couldn't help but sigh in relief. This substance was the only way Kelsey knew how to deal with things. It was the only thing that could make him happy.
"I didn't get him back. I didn't do anything. It is all just a blur," Kelsey said, shaking her head and taking yet another drink. Each and everyday Kelsey always imagined what it would be like to kill Jack. She wanted to cause him as much pain as he caused her. The bastard deserved to die but Kelsey knew deep down in her heart that she wouldn't be able to kill him. Kelsey was pretty sure that she would not be able to kill a fly. She was too nice to do something like that, even when she was very mad.
"If I'm not a whore than why do I feel like one?!" Kelsey said, taking yet another drink of her flask of vodka. She knew that she wouldn't be able to get drunk today seeing as her father and James would be back at any moment now. She would just get a small buzz going to help numb some of the pain she was experiencing at the moment. "Want a drink?" Kelsey asked holding out her flask for Scorpius. She wasn't sure on his stance of drinking but she would bet that he was a man who liked a drink from one time to another.
