Tasha Lynn Kylies was different from the majority of Slytherins, to most people of Hogwarts, she was nice, kind, loving. Of course, there were certain people who didn't deserve that, and to them she showed hatred. She often caught herself wondering why she was in Slytherin, and the truth was, she was perfectly adequete for all houses, Slytherin was just her strongest point. There was no real reason she was in the house she currently loathed, no basis, she just was. Many people made a snap judgement of her, because of her house, which she hated, and then her Slytherin side certainly showed. One of those people who never ever made a snap judgement of her was a close friend, Chris Wyatt. It wasn't the fact she had major trust issues she was shocked she trusted him so, it was because he was male. If there was something she hated most in this world, it was males, the real, Slytherin type male. People like them caused her harm, and Tasha hated them for that, they gave her liquid confidence, try to get hold of it and it slips through your fingers. Tonight, Tasha was feeling rather peckish. It was 11:37pm, and it got so bad, she left her dorm and wandered into the common room. A couple were doing-something-they-really-shouldn't-be-doing on the sofa. With a snicker, Tasha got to the painting that guarded their door and yelled behind her, "Get a room!" With that, she dashed out. A smirk perched on her lips, she entered the kitchen with a large sniff. Wow, it smelt good! She was crowded by elves, all yelling what can we get you, what can we get you?! Tasha answered chocolate and a diet cola. She then sat at a table, soon reciving her request. It led her to a new question: It was always DIET with her, why? She was thin, any thinner and she'd be a skeleton, yet she was terrified of putting on weight. She sighed, it was a girl thing, she assumed.

Christopher Wyatt was starting to get use to late nights. Leaving school to go down to Hogsmeade, picking up his job, working crazy hours at the bar, or any other place he could. Trying to save enough money up to get out of this place. To get away, get his own place away from the drama he called life. But the more he thought about that, the more he started to realize, it might just be a stupid idea. He would be leaving a lot of friends behind. Dominique, his best friend since he could remember. Someone who was now about to start her own life, with a new husband, and a baby. Not something he expected to come to her at such a young age, but hey he was her friend and he didn't say anything about it.
Dom wasn't the only person he would be leaving. There was Tasha, someone who was almost like a little sister to him, but at the same time... She was different. She was the first person to catch his eye after Lily 'died' on him. But he would never admit it, not in a million years. Chris just pictured himself as a safe wall for the girl to fall back on when she needed it, but never as anything more... How lovely, wasn't that all his life seemed to be lately. A safe wall for everyone else to fall on... And in his opinion, it was getting old.
Walking back into school, down the corridors, and into the kitchen to grab a bite to eat, he found himself about to tell a house elf what he wanted when he noticed non other than Tasha sitting at a table. With a grin on his face he walked up behind her, wrapping his arm around her and kissing the top of her head, in a friendly manner that is. "What are you doing up so late Hun?" He asked moving his arm from her pulling out the chair next to her, sitting himself in it.

Thinking of girl things, another thought she'd been thoroughly surprised by was acutally was Chris, her feelings had levelled to more than a friendship manner. He was her first crush since her exes. And she couldn't say anything because he didn't and wouldn't like her the same way, plus it would ruin her friendship with him, and if she couldn't say anything about it, she could at least be friends right? Now she thought about it, probably not; when he got with another girl, she wouldn't be able to be around him and her together. Jealously would fill her to the core, she just knew it. She jumped and was snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a strong pair of arms wrap around her slender figure. She felt him (assuming it were a boy) kiss her head, then asked why she was up so late. She reconized the voice, Chris. Great, just the person she was thinking about! She put a smirk on her lips, covering her crush-on-him, and said, "Well I could ask you the same thing!" Her smirk turned to a gentle smile, and she answered, "I couldn't get to sleep. This guy I am crushing on is occupying my mind and it's driving me crazy!" Was that a little too much information? She didn't say his name or give him any clues. For quick covering she added, "And I am not telling you his name," And stuck her tongue out. "Also, there was ... sounds that will damage the eleven year olds' ears coming from the common room," She grinned, then snickered. She picked up her diet coke, and sipped delecaitly. "So you are here because ...?"
