Jason Grey pulled back the sheets from his bed and shook himself awake. It took him some time to get back to complete consciousness. He looked out the window and saw a pitch black canvas lit up by bright stars in the sky. Jason was having a pretty hard time trying to get to sleep. Picking up his wand, he stood up as quietly as he could. Tip-toeing down to the Hufflepuff Common Room, he sat down in the comfortable, black leather couches furnished there. A chill went through his body due to the cold feel of the leather, but dissapeared soon.
Everything seemed quiet. Everyone was probably out with dates, doing homework in their dorm rooms, or out in the Great Hall. Times like these made him ponder. About his personal life, studies, and most of all...the night his parents were killed. Every day, Jason would have nightmares of the same scene of his parents dying. It occured when he was seven years old. On the dark night of October 13th, a couple mysterious, hooded people walked up to his beautiful house. He could still remember every single detail of it. Jason Grey was playing with his restrainment wand for young children in his room. His parents were worried because of rumors and threats. This was due to the fact that they were heading a new department in the Ministry of Magic to destroy new threats of the Dark Ages. Anyways...these two same people would creep up to the house and utter a spell. Suddenly, the house would go up in flames. Jason could still hear the screams of his parents...
Shaking the thoughts from his mind, he stood up with a groan. Using a Disallusionment Charm, he cloaked himself in invisibility. Silently, he walked out of the firelit Hufflepuff common room into the dimly lit halls of Hogwarts. Some of the Prefects and Heads were still up, but he did not bother about them. Occasionally, Jason found the unusual silence in the stone halls to be disturbing. Today...he felt as if it was necessary. Working his way up from the Kitchen to the Black Lake on the Grounds, nothing seemed to be able to disrupt him. Walking out of the Prefects' Lounge on the First Floor, the Hufflepuff sighed heavily. Not a thing that he normally did. But there was a reason behind it this time. He liked to think that he was a likable and attractive guy. Of course he got plenty of stares from girls. And Jason Grey enjoyed that, though he tried stay away from Slytherin girls. But recently, his dating life had been put on a very long halt. Hopefully that would change.
As Jason neared the staircases of Hogwarts, he looked up and whistled. The largeness of Hogwarts still never failed to amaze him. Walked up the stairs slowly, a group of girls dressed in Ravenclaw attire eyed him as he passed by. Honestly, they were not very good at hiding the fact. They giggled and whispered loudly afterwards. Right now that did not want to make him smile. Did the world really just love mocking Jason like that? What had he done wrong? Groaning with annoyance, the Hufflepuff turned the corner onto the Seventh Floor.
On the other hand, time seemed to stop and he appeared at the North Tower in an instant. Moving to the large, open window at the edge of the castle, he swung his legs over the edge and sat down. Looking up, he breathed in the cool winter night air. It seemed to revitalize him. The Hufflepuff shivered, but quickly came over the cold rush. Sighing deeply, Jason Grey laid his head back on the cool stone and stared up at the twinkling stars.

Her eyes flickered open to the sound of ticking coming from the clock right over her bed. Young Helena Greyback had slept early that night. She was far too tired. She pulled herself up into a sitting position, running her fingers through her long, blonde hair. She had just awoken from quite a horrid dream. She had been underneath not only Demetri's grip, but also her brother Tiberius'. It was horrid. Was this a sign? Was Ty becoming like Dem, or worse then Dem? She sighed, pulling herself off of the bed. She pulled on her fuzzy bunny slippers and finally walked out of the Hufflepuff dormitories.
She moved into the common room. Not many people were there. She glanced at the clock. 11 PM. Interesting. She had only slept for three hours. Not enough, she thought. She sighed. She couldn't sleep. She walked out of the common room. Where would she head now? She sighed. She needed to get away. Away from all this. She began her way up the stairs, running at quite a speed. She was making her way toward the North tower. The place she enjoyed most.
She finally reached the top, breathing in the air around her. She felt a bit of a presence but she shook it off. She played with the key around her neck. It was a horcrux nobody knew about. Suddenly a very cold, strong breeze hit her. She moved away from her spot. It was dragging her somewhere. She tried to keep her balance but it kept pushing her and pushing her. It was pushing her into some window. There was a figure sitting at the window sill. She squinted her eyes. He long, blond hair blew danced with the wind as it blew her. As she reached the window, she clung onto the edges. The wind was still blowing her. "M-Merlin's Beard!" she was about fall over until she clung onto the boy's chest. The wind stopped. She blinked a few times as she gazed at the boy. A small blush occupied itself on her cheeks as she kept on staring.

The young Hufflepuff playing with his yellow and black tie. He groaned with annoyance. He had always hated the uniforms and believed that everyone else should as well. Pulling on the tie, Jason loosened it so that it hung slack against his chest. Breathing in deeply, the boy took in the fresh spring air. It sent a chill down his spine. Tilting his head upward and craning his neck to the best of his ability, he looked up at the sky. Jason squinted his eyes for no particular reason trying to zoom in on each and every one of the stars. Soon enough, he was entranced and with no intention of breaking it.
It seemed as if the quiet Hufflepuff had spoken too soon. Jason heard footsteps pattering behind him. At first, he did not bother to look behind him. But soon enough, he heard the yelling of a girl fill the dark room. Merlin's beard! she seemed to exclaim. Within the next half second, Jason Grey could see a figure flying towards him. The girl's sweet smelling, blond hair flew in his face. He was always a sucker when it came to that. His mind went hazy for a moment. Afterwards, she was in his arms as he stopped her from going over the edge of the North Tower. Both of them were blushing. His cheeks and ears were burning. Normally, the shadow of the night would give some sort of comfort in a moment like this, but they were too close together. Jason was speechless. Of course this was awkward, but they both just kept staring in each other's eyes.
After what seemed like days, Jason slowly released her from his grasp. Taking a minute to grasp what had just happened, he scanned the girl from head to toe. They were still close enough together that he could see her somewhat clearly. She was stunningly beautiful. That was plain and simple. But she seemed as shy and conserved as him. Without the ability to make eye contact, Jason finally broke the silence and spoke out to her. "Are you alright? Not hurt are you?" The Hufflepuff's thick English accent filled the air as he spoke.
Notes: Sorry it took so long and that it sucks. I'm fighting a horrible flu right now.

She just sat there, in the boy's lap, speechless as ever before. She suddenly unclasped herself from his chest and loosened up. But mind you, she hadn't lost any eye contact with his handsome eyes. She sighed, pulling herself together. She lifted herself off of him and landed onto the ground. She ran her fingers through her long, blonde hair. "Sorry about that.." she said, softly. "I'm fine, just a bit of a nasty breeze, that's all." her British accent bounced off the walls. She glanced down, there was a leaf sticking out of the bunny ear. She leaned down and picked it up. She then slowly pulled herself up. She flicked the leaf off.
She then moved toward where he sat and confidently sat next to him. She settled herself in, flinging both her legs over the window. She sighed, staring out toward the abyss. She glanced at him, smiling a toothy smile. "Oh, I can't believe I haven't introduced myself. Helena, Helena Greyback... and you must be Jason?" she giggled a bit, blushing. "I believe I've seen you around the common room a couple of times." she glanced back toward the horizon. The wind blew her long, blonde hair. He was so handsome, and she couldn't believe she hadn't noticed this before.

Jason Grey kept his eyes locked into her's. Staring into the utterly beautiful oblivion in them. After what seemed like forever, she finally let go of him. For some reason, the Hufflepuff boy was oddly comfortable having this girl in his arms. Yet he did not even know her. Jason was the type of guy that always believed in love at first sight, but he had never experienced it. A slight blush made his cheeks warmer. Thank goodness it was dark out. Jason watched her as she stroked her wonderful blond hair. Normally, in a situation like this, the boy's shy side would come out and he would not dare make eye contact with the unchallenged beauty. But this situation seemed different. Her quiet personality seemed to make him more comfortable as well. "Oh well that's alright." said the boy in a whisper. It was an awkward moment considering Jason was on the verge of confidence and shyness.
As she boldly made a move to sit next to him, Jason tilted his head toward her to keep eye contact. A shiver traveled down his spine being next to someone like her. "Oh, I can't believe I haven't introduced myself. Helena, Helena Greyback... and you must be Jason?"" Helena said with a giggle. The Greybacks. Where to start with them? Rumors flew around the school about them. One brother was an evil rapist. The other was going to be a Death Eater to lead the werewolves. There was another one, but she was not as popular with the rumors. But this one next to him was different. Of course she was beautiful beyond compare, but she was also shy and conserved. And if rumors served right, she supported the Order. He did not know what to believe, so Jason intended to find out for himself. "I believe I've seen you around the common room a couple of times." she continued. Rightly, Jason Grey was shocked that the Hufflepuff girl knew him. But then again, he was always the one that got stares and giggles, but was held unnattainable because of his character. "Well it's nice to know that somebody actually knows me. But I think you are the one that attracts much more attention than me Helena." the Hufflepuff boy said. Obviously he meant this to hint toward the fact that Jason thought she was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. But he would see where this fated meeting would lead to.

She leaned her head against the sill, staring out into the abyss. He then spoke his words. She stared at him, her blue eyes shimmering underneath the moonlight. His words made her blush scarlet red. Was that supposed to be a compliment? Was he calling her beautiful? "You attract attention to me, Jason." the words just came out. Did she even think before speaking? Were those the wrong choice of words? She still blushed deep red. Both her hands came tumbling down to her knees. She glanced down at her hands so to hide her pink cheeks. Her hair fell down on her face. Jason was so handsome. Of course he attracted attention. Half the girls wanted to be with him...right?
She glanced up at him once more. "Y-You.. look really handsome," she said within a mere whisper. She ran her slim, pink manicured fingers through her hair. She sometimes said the strangest words when she was so mesmerized. "It's strange how you say not many people are attracted to someone such as yourself. I'd say, at first glance, any girl would fall for you." she complimented him. She glanced back up at him, her eyes twinkling quite madly. She leaned her back against the sill, staring at him. She examined his every feature. Every feature added up to his handsomeness.

**Change** Placed after Helena and Jason get together Jason looked back up at her. His eyes were gleaming with happiness and care. Never before in his life had he experienced feelings the way he had with the petite Hufflepuff next to him. Placing an arm around her, he boy pulled Helena close to him. The night was a little chilly, but it did not bother him. All his thoughts were directed between the beautiful girl in his arms and the stars above him. Sighing, Jason craned his neck upward and looked out at the black palette known as the night sky. The stars made it seem as if he was in a candlelit room. Of course, with Helena. "It's so beautiful out there." he said absentmindedly. At first, Jason Grey was not even talking to her. He was simply just stating the obvious. But within a second, he realized that he was not alone. Though, the Hufflepuff boy felt a little stupid forgetting that his girlfriend was right beside him. Instinctively, he continued. "But it's nothing compared to the sight beside me." Jason smiled softly at her and looked deep into the ocean of her blue eyes. None of what he was feeling and saying was a lie. It was coming straight from his heart.
"It's strange how you say not many people are attracted to someone such as yourself. I'd say, at first glance, any girl would fall for you." Jason was surprised to hear Helena say that. But it made him blush. Honestly, he did not know what to say. It may have the been the nicest thing anyone had ever said to him. "Thank you. That really means a lot." he whispered softly. Looking down for a moment, he tried to take everything in. It may have seemed odd, but Jason Grey was still groping around the fact that he had the most wonderful girlfriend a guy could ask for. Well...others may not have agreed on that, but that was the reality to him. "But I chose you. And I would choose you over and over again in less than a heartbeat." replied the boy sincerely and seriously. His face was flushed red with love...and of course, he was blushing. Moving his face in closer toward Helena's, Jason touched his lips to her's and kissed her softly. Whether it was a reality or illusion, Jason did not want it to end. Notes: Sorry it sucks. It was kinda hard to switch the thread from before to after cuz your post was really meant for before they got together.

His words caught her off guard. They made her blush scarlet red. She was breathless as she kept her stare at him. She was refusing to unlock her gaze. "T-Thanks," she replied. Her lips pursed after her words. She stared as he moved his face toward her. She didn't know what to do. Then their lips connected. She felt shivers run down her spine. The shivers weren't because his lips were cold, but because it felt so perfect. Everything felt perfect. The atmosphere, the stars, the moment itself. She kissed back, slowly closing her eyes. She ran her slim fingers through his hair, moving closer to him.
Suddenly, her kiss tensed up. Oh, nothing could ruin this now. She felt her tongue move into his mouth. She twirled it around his. She fell back onto the stone ground, which surprisingly didn't hurt her, dragging him along with her. She giggled. "Woops," she whispered, but one could clearly hear her. She pulled herself off, dragging herself to a stone-built wall. She leaned her back against it, putting her finger toward her lower lip, wiping it. "I think I take things too over sometimes. Sorry," she apologized. "But sometimes I guess I just can't help myself when my handsome boyfriend's just that close." she softly giggled.
