Robert put his head down on his own arm for a minute. He hadn't thought he would feel so overwhelmed when Anton woke up. He didn't doubt it would happen but, the amount of emotion that came with it was just entirely overwhelming for him. Robert looked back at Anton's face, with teared up eyes.
"D-don't...it's okay," Robert muttered out, though his words were rather broken. He didn't need to hear an apology. He'd been the worse father on the planet. all the things his children said to him were well deserved. They didn't need to apologize for them. Robert just wanted, more than anything, for them to know that he was still here for them.
He heard a cup fall behind him. Robert wiped off his eyes and turned his head. Dominique had returned. He looked questionably behind her, wondering why Mandy hadn't returned with her. She was probably getting him something, undoubtedly to force some food down his throat. Food was the last thing on his mind at the moment.
Robert swiped his hand across his face. He shouldn't bloody stop crying, which bothered him. So instead, he gave Anton his moments with Dominique, and he went off into a far corner to cry. Robert was sad or mad, he was just so full of joy that it was too overwhelming for him. What father wouldn't cry?

--- i'll be there when you close your eyes ,. ( HOLD YOU TIGHT, SAY GOODNIGHT ) “I’ll take this, and that…oh, and some of this.” Receiving shocked glances was the last thing that the brunette was worrying about. She knew what they where thinking, ‘How could one tiny woman eat so much?’ and Mandy knew the answer for that, and it was because that one tiny woman was hungry and worried and hungry and even more worried. What they thought meant little importance to her, she was a woman on mission. These last few weeks had been turmoil. One week Mandy had refused to eat, the next she had forced her husband to eat, and now she was eating like there was no tomorrow. Honestly, she could feel the pounds stacking up, but did she care? Fuck no. “You know, my husband just can’t stop eating. He’s a big guy and has a great appetite.” Mandy started, a guilty smile plastered on her lips. If she had a knut for how many times she’s pulled that one off in the last week, she would be filthy rich.
After Mandy had paid for the food, now all stashed into a bag, she attempted to catch up with Dom who held the coffee. Mandy had actually taken so long buying food that Dom couldn’t wait, she had been so anxious to return to the room in hope that something might happen. Since Anton had moved his hand, Mandy was positive that he was recovering and would soon be well, all it took was time. So if she was sure nothing could go worse, there was no real anxiety.
However as she skidded down the corridor, Mandy ran passed Anton’s doctor. Coming to a halt, she stopped in front of him. If anyone knew Mandy, they’d know she was a woman who was easily distracted. “Hey,” She began, a smile on her lips as she attempted to hide the bag of food. So, yes, Mandy had always had a thing for doctors. Don’t ask why, it was just something she had always been attracted to. “So has he been progressing any, from charts and things?” Mandy asked, hoping for the best. ”We can‘t really tell Mrs. Leblanc.” The doctor admitted with a sympathetic smile. Immediately her smile fell, “If you can’t do your job, then why are you here?” She asked rather rudely, before sighing and walking back to Anton’s room.
Upon opening the door, Mandy had no idea what was going on. Instantly her eyes came in contact with the puddle on the floor and the rolling cup crossing the room. Looking down, her heels where practically sliding against the wet tiled floor, “Dom, how’d you manage this?” Mandy asked, then bringing her hazel eyes to look towards the blonde. However, her gaze wasn’t rested on Dom for to long, diverting her gaze to Anton, Mandy felt her heart skip a beat, three beats actually. He -Anton- was awake, and alive. Perhaps she had fallen asleep again, her mind was probably playing cruel tricks on her like they had for the last three weeks. Anton had haunted her dreams constantly, never allowing her to rest. Maybe this was just another twisted dream.
Shuffling towards Anton’s bed, Mandy looked down at her son, examining him closely, “Anton?” She spoke aloud, making sure this was all real. Even if it was a dream, she couldn’t resist the urge to smile, and her eyes stung with fresh tears. Holding the tears back she placed her hand on her son’s arm, rubbing it gently before dropping her bag on the ground. Turning her head, Mandy looked over at Robert, who had clearly became emotional with all what was happening. Quickly glancing at Dom and Anton, she decided to give them a moment and approached her husband.
“Hey,” Mandy whispered in a soft tone, placing her hand on Robert’s back, “It looks like everything’s going to be okay.” She said, turning her head to get another quick glance at her son, before turning back to Robert and allowing a small smile to cross her lips.
