Holding the little boy’s hand, Andrea Banks continued to walked down the cobbles street of Diagon Alley. These where troubled times, Andrea knew that, and she had been reluctant to bring her son here, but due to the persuasion and puppy dog eyes, how could Andy resist. He had the gift of persuasion, like his father.
Andrea had taken some time off work, even though she shouldn’t have. Robert Leblanc was having a pretty rough time, and he too had left work for a short period of time, leaving all power and control in her hands. And while Andy should have been in school, attempting to control the disobedient children, she was here, with Dylan. She couldn’t disappoint her son any more. There had been several occasions when Andrea had let her son down. She had promised to purchase him a new broom, to allow him to get the hang of qudditch, seeing as he took a great interest in the sport. But being Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts had been more overpowering than she could have ever imagined.
“How about we go get something to eat before-” Andrea began with a small sigh, pushing past the crowds of people that stood in small groups in the street, “No mom, we’ll get something to eat later.” The six year old boy cut her off, looking up at her with a disapproving look. “Ok, make it quick though.” Andy finally pointed out, a smile playing on her lips as she led him into the shop.
“You know, I used to come here a lot. When I was at school I was captain of the qudditch team.” Andrea said proudly, vaguely remembering her days as Ravenclaw qudditch captain. “Yeah, mom, you told me before.” Arching an eyebrow at Dylan she smirked and continued to push him towards the brooms, “Just be a good boy and choose one will you?” The young woman pointed out, clearly enjoying the time she spent with her son.
Andrea had been a mother and a father figure to Dylan jr., and that was completely her choice. She could go and tell Dylan that he was a father, but it was her choice not to. Six years had already passed and she was doing perfectly fine without the fatherly figure, she was raising Dylan to be the bright, handsome boy he was, and she couldn’t be more proud of the fact.
Hearing a voice behind her, Andrea turned with a small smile on her lips, but it dropped as soon as she caught glimpse of the familiar figure. “Dylan..” She said in surprise. With the shuffle of footsteps, her son stood beside her, “Yeah mom?” He asked curiously, looking at his mother and to the man, “Oh nothing love, I was talking to this man.” Andy pointed awkwardly, cursing herself for forgetting the vital fact that her son’s father owned the place.

"I don't think I know you, don't think I ever will. Am I in love with you, well I don't know still. It may sound strange but I'm warning you I may not be that nice."_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Dylan was having a really busy day in his shop. It seemed unbelievable how many students wanted to buy quidditch stuff. Of course his clients weren't only students. Professional Quidditch Players have been visiting him too. He knew many famous faces just from working where he was. Owning this shop more than a satisfaction to him. He remembered as he played quidditch at Hogwarts during his school years. He would never forget fun he had from it. He also played with his brother before they had a serious argument. The hatred was growing till the end of one of the Spencer brothers. Of course Dylan was involved with his niece's parents death, there was no denying it. But no one really knew about it. Well, no one who would ruin his life. It all looked like an accident and Dylan even pretended that he cries as he had been informed about his brother's death. Now he had a nice to bring up. He wanted her to know that only purebloods, and purebloods who thinks the same way as him and death eaters are worth to live or know about magical world. Of course Harrison wasn't a kid anymore. But he had to make sure she would go the 'right' way. Though, sometimes it was hard to convert a former Gryffindor to a bad side. And yet he had a gorgeous woman he was willing to spend a life with. He did not know what love was but something similar combined with desire was in his head and heart. Yes, Selena Black did effect him. And he almost forgot about his all one night stands and other flings. Almost because one woman was still on his mind from time to time. Andrea Banks, a woman he seemed to have a serious relationship with. She wasn't just a fling. There was something more between them than few fiery nights. But he wasn't ready to be stick with one woman in his life.
Dylan Spencer was using his gift of persuasion to make his customers buy some expensive stuff. He was good in telling people what they wanted or what would be good for them. He knew that even if someone was about to hesitate it would not stand for long. He was very controlling and it seemed he always gets what he wants. Dylan shook his customer's hand as he decided to purchase everything he offered him. He entreated his customer to the counter and then he heard someone calling his name. He looked at the right direction and saw no one else but Andrea Banks herself. A smirk spread his lips at first but then he spotted a little boy beside her legs. His smile faded and his brow arched up. He walked over to them and smiled lightly. "Andrea. What a surprise to see you here." he dropped his gaze to the boy once again. "Whose the kid?" he asked because he wanted to know who knocked her up or if it even was her child. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

There was many things that needed to be hid from her son. Most of all, her son’s father was a death eater, and she, was the Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts. If such a thing ever got out, it would be a scandal. Andrea didn’t want Dylan to be brought into that kind of attention. She certainly didn’t want Dylan Spencer sinking his claws into their son and attempting to rub his dark ways onto him. Her son was a good child, she couldn’t sense anything bad about him, and although it was early days, she was sure he’d grow up on the right side of live.
Looking down at Dylan who was clearly interested in the scene that was playing out before him. “Dylan, honey, go and pick a broom.” Andrea told him, forcing a small smile of reassurance on her lips. The young boy almost looked protective over his mother, but then sighed before forcing his feet to move towards the broom aisle. The further he was away from his father, the better. Andrea didn’t exactly want to have any sort of conversation with Dylan, she’d much rather leave the place as soon as possible. But she couldn’t break her promise to her little boy, she brought him here to purchase a broom and that’s what they where going to do.
Arching an eyebrow at Dylan and his question, she bit her tongue, holding back. “He’s mine.” She said, rather dryly. She had been a mother and father figure to her little boy, there was no point bringing Dylan into the picture now. But that didn’t mean he didn’t have the right to know he had a son. Sighing, she crossed her arms over her chest and stared at Dylan, “He’s mine, and also yours.” Plastering a fake smile on her lips, she tilted her head, “Can’t you see the resemblance?” The smile almost dropped immediately and she then turned her back on Dylan, “Nice seeing you again. We’ll be on our way.” She mumbled, walking over to her son. They should come back another day, when Dylan wasn’t working or something. Maybe she’d send someone else out to buy him a broom.

"I don't think I know you, don't think I ever will. Am I in love with you, well I don't know still. It may sound strange but I'm warning you I may not be that nice."_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ He was staring at Andrea for a longer while before getting an answer to his question. She confirmed the kid was hers. Well, he could not think otherwise. He didn't think she came here with someone else's child. Well he didn't know too much about her past, family and such. All he knew was that she was a former Gryffindor he enchanted and laid his hands on. Temptation was too big to not take a chance. Andrea was a real beauty and they looked good together. She was younger than him but he liked younger women. He liked proving he could have even a seventeen years old if he wanted. Well, Andy was nineteen when he tried his luck with her while he was already 25. They dated for quite some time sharing fiery nights. How did he trick her to bed for the first time? Well, he was just gifted. And he couldn't put a blind eye on her beauty. She just had to be his, even if for one night stand.
Andy said something which made him step back. The kid was his also? It couldn't be truth, could it? She just told him he had a son for six years and he didn't know about him. And yet it wouldn’t be that bad if he wasn't in a serious relationship with someone else. The woman he was currently with was pregnant with him. Dylan wasn't prepared to be a father. He wasn't even prepared to the thought of making a family. "You're kidding me, right? Making fun of me because I left you." he said but when he looked at little boy so happy around the brooms he did can see the resemblance. And even he has been called like him. Dylan. Little Dylan Jr. A man shook his head. "Why didn’t you tell me earlier?" _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

The more she stood in the mans presence the more uncomfortable she began to feel. Andrea began to realize she had over stayed her welcome. Turning her head to look at her son who seemed content to trail his fingers over the broom, debating on which one would be more of his style. Turning back to the man who she used to share so many fiery nights with. She was just seventeen when she fell pregnant, barely out of Hogwarts. She was just thankful that she had been lucky to be placed as Deputy Headmistress, all because she had worked her bloody ass off in school. If she hadn’t, she possible could have been still living with her parents instead of residing in the fairly large mansion just outside of London.
Once her words had finally sunk in, Andy allowed a small sigh to escape her lips. Now, she had just ruined her perfectly good day. She scoffed at Dylan’s set of words, “Excuse me? You didn’t leave me. We just stopped seeing each other. It was mutual.” The woman barked, beginning to get frustrated. “Why didn’t I tell you earlier? Oh, let me see…maybe it was because you where a whore who used to sleep with anything that had a set of tits and an ass. Or perhaps it was because I was seventeen and you where twenty five. But it could have just been because I didn’t want you to know.” Andrea rolled her eyes before turning to her son, “Dylan love, come on. I’ll bring you somewhere else, I’ll get you a broom there.” She said, throwing a quick glance at Dylan before taking her son’s hand. “Mom, who’s this?” The little boy asked pointing to Dylan, and Andrea sighed, “This is mummy’s old friend.” She answered, shrugging the question off.

"I don't think I know you, don't think I ever will. Am I in love with you, well I don't know still. It may sound strange but I'm warning you I may not be that nice."_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Seriously, Dylan had a son he didn't know about for six years. He had the right to know he had heir. Maybe he wasn't so interested in his mom as before but still that kid needed a father. He wasn't the most caring nor loving man but he felt the need to show that he cared. At least she called her son his name. It was more than a proof to him that he was a father to that kid.
Dylan senior listened to Andrea's words. They were not so far from truth. Well they were all true! She was so young when he knocked her up. He was a man whore. He still was a bit of it. He wasn't the best part for husband, not even telling about father. No surprise there that she didn’t want to tell him. He shook his head at her sore words. There was no need to bring it all out after years in his opinion. But well, he wasn't surprised. He probably deserved that. Of course he would prefer have a talk with her in his office or somewhere else out of his store, not in front of his customers. Reputation nowadays was something you have to care of.
"Wait." Dylan called. He looked at the little kid and bent down to face him. "Pick a broom, no matter which one. The one you like the best. You will get it for free." he told his son. He was sure Andy was going to disapprove it but he didn't care. He was his son also and it was the best thing he could do for him at the moment. Little Dylan didn't know his father and Andy probably never tell him who it is. "Regardless of what your mommy says. Go and simply take it." he smiled at his son brightly and then straightened himself. He looked at Andrea once again. "You can prohibit me from visiting him but you can't stop me from giving him this broom as a present for all his birthday I wasn't on." _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
