What possessed mothers to be so damn nosy? Ana couldn't figure out in the slightest. She understood that having your child away from you for a good chunk of the year could bring back a little bit of paternal feelings but this was ridiculous. Glancing down at the folded sheet of parchment in her hand Analeigh couldn't help back her sigh of annoyance. Without thinking she felt her fingers curl around the paper, crumpling it loudly. It was the second letter this week and the fifth this month. Dropping the letter on the straw strewn floor of the owlery Ana rubbed at her temples in frustration. This really wasn't anything new. Ever since Analeigh had started at Hogwarts in her fifth year her mother had taken up letter writing, sending them at least once a week, if not more. Honestly, Analeigh felt sorry for Archian, her mother's harried owl who traveled the route between their house in London and the castle frequently. She was seventeen! Already considered an adult by the wizarding government and in little more then month she would reach the age of majority for the muggle world as well. As much as she loved her mother she longed for her to stop coddling her like a child.
Her gaze dropping back down to the discarded letter in the floor Analeigh knew the flow of letters would only increase if she didn't reply, and this knowledge had her reaching into her bag, drawing out a fresh sheet of parchment and a pen. Analeigh didn't care about the snide remarks she received constantly about the muggle writing tool. Quills required ink and ink pots had a nasty habit of always spilling on her and the inside of her many bags. Tugging the cap off the pen Analeigh held it between her teeth as she pressed the parchment up to the wall so she could hastily scribble something down to placate her mother. As usual her mother had just babbled about the trivial things that occupied her days, and Analeigh found that it took no effort to scrawl off a civil reply. The only new subject in the letter, that had taken Ana by surprise was the mention of her future.
Her parents were traditionalist, but not strongly so and while Ana knew that they would adore if the most she achieved in life was finding a pureblood husband and having a couple of children they wouldn't dare force anything on her. She shuddered at the thought of having her life already planned out for out her and as she signed in name in large flowing cursive at the bottom of the letter she sent a silent thanks that her parents didn't believe in arranged anything.
Sealing the letter Analeigh looked around for a school owl she could use to send the letter off. Finding one and ensuring that the parchment was securely tied to the leg of the tawny barn owl Analeigh watched as the bird flew out the window, quickly disappearing into the darkness that approached rapidly as the sun set. They were still streaks of orangey-purple crisscrossing the sky but it was dark enough to make out the faint twinkle of stars above. Resting her elbows on the sill Analeigh stared out the window, not really focused on the sight before here, but on her thoughts as she mulled over the contents of the letter.

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place ) [/center] Life. It is an extremely confusing, and complex thing that people have to live through. It was so mysterious, but brought joy. It was also very cruel, but brought interest. Which is why Anastasia ended in the owlery of her school today. Well, she did have to send a letter to her parents. Whom where wondering how everything with Trevent was going. Trevent, the one guy that basically caused the trouble in her life. She loved him, of course, also seeing as she was engaged to him. However, ever since Ana and him got engaged, Petra hated her. However, it didn't seem like she was crushed. Just about a month later she ended up dating Tiberius Greyback, whom is a fabulous boy in her opinion, but it was as though Petra didn't care as much as she said she did. And well it made Ana mad. Because Petra was yelling at Trevent to fight for her, but she didn't understand that if he did he would be disowned from the family. But, there she is a few weeks later with another guy! Just as happy as can be. Really it was stupid.
Anastasia shook her head in the thought of that. She couldn't take it it was extremely aggravating, and idiotic. She lifted herself from the chair she had been sitting on in the Hufflepuff common room and started off to the owlery. As she neared the perfectly rounded exit door at the end of the room. Ana turned her self back around as she remembered that she had left her small messenger bag, which contained her quill, paper, and parchment. She neared the door again, pushing it open, and crawling out of the common room. Making sure her skirt, which was shorter than usual, slide up. The boys at the school where so perverted now a days it was disgusting. Ana finally exited the common room, and trotted off towards the owlery. As she passed the clumps of students, and loners in the vast halls of the school Anastasia looked downward at the floor.
She did this quite frequently, even though it was a bad habit she tended to not want to look at people when she was walking by herself and such. She never knew why, it was more of a habit than it was a want. Anastasia finally reached the owlrey, and pushed the door open, watching as fellow students sat at the small kiosks and wrote letters, and the owls flew off into the sky to deliver letters. Ana walked over to a kiosk, and opened her bag. As she reached into it, she accidentally knocked over a small glass container holding her parchment. "Ugh," she groaned and lifted up the container, and pushed it aside. "No need for the quill then,' Ana muttered and looked over to the girl next to her "Excuse me, love, do you have a quill with extra parchment or something I could use to write with. It seems as though I've stupidly spilled all of mine." Anastasia then realized it was her good friend Analeigh.
Name confusion, was one of their biggest problems when it came to them being friends. When they were together it seemed as though everyone forgot their identity. Anastasia was called Analeigh, and vice versa. It was quite funny when you thought of it though. Or at least in Anastasia's eyes. WORDS,, 722! TAGGED,, ana! OUTFIT,, CLICK!
