Watch me I'm i n t o x i c a t i n g -------------------------------------------------
Alina Longbottom was what you called a home wrecker. Hell, she was the queen of all home wreckers. She could get any happy man in a relationship to leave their wife or girlfriend in an instant. It was one of her special tricks she had. Lately, she had only been using this trick on one man, Travis Morgan. This was more than one of her usual flings. They were both madly into each other. Every time they could they would sneak off to see each other. To make everything better, Travis had a girlfriend. Alina didn't know why but it gave her some kind of thrill to rip a boyfriend away from a girl, leaving that girl a broken mess. It may seem like an evil thing to do, but Alina loved to do it.
Not having a steady job was really taking its toll on Alina. She found herself working odd jobs in order to pay the bills. Some of her jobs involved her cleaning house for rich men who got a kick out of having her wear a little french maid costume. She had been coming from one of those jobs when she met Travis. So that costume may of helped in capturing him. Today, Alina finally had a day off. She had decided to just sit back and relax. She had sent her sister, Ace, an owl telling her that she could come over for the day if she wanted to. Alina barely saw her dear sister anymore and it really broke her heart.
Alina was happy about this day. It was not only because she had a day off, or that her sister was coming over. She was happy because it was her birthday. Today, Alina turned 21 and in the prime of her youth. She never felt better. Her she was, young, beautiful and had an amazing guy under her control. What more could she ask for?
Alina was currently seated in her rat hole of an apartment. Sure she could of had an amazing apartment if she would take money from her adoptive parents but Alina refused to. So here she lived in a one bedroom apartment in an awful part of town but she didn't care. She was happy as long as she had Travis in her life. Alina got up off of the couch and walked over to the stove to check on her chicken. She was cooking a nice meal for her and her sister. Alina's birthday was the only day, besides Ace's birthday, that the two would spend the day together. Though she did not show it, Alina looked forward to the day each year. She loved her sister and she was the only family she had. Sure the Longbottom's were her family too, but Alina could not stand them. She would rather poke her own eyes out than be associated with them anymore. Proof of this would be the fact that on her table was an unopened birthday card from Neville and Hannah Longbottom, containing money that Alina desperately needed. Her pride prevented her from opening it.

Adelaide Longbottom just did not understand her older sister. She was....Alina. Even though Ace had recently found out that they were adopted, and at first it really irked her she was okay without now. Neville Longbottom was still her father, Hannah was still her mother - even if they weren't responsible for making her. Ace had come to terms with the fact that you didn't have to share blood with someone in order to be their family. Still, a lot of questions flew through her mind about the subject.
Today, was just a family day. It was Alina's birthday, twenty first to be exact. Ace always spent Alina's birthday with her. She just hoped the whole day wouldn't be in that place Alina called home. Their parents had tried and tried to help Alina and get out into someplace more decent but, Alina was so damn stubborn. She wouldn't take their help. Ace saw at home how much that hurt them, it was something she could never do to them.. For what reasons Alina didn't want to be with them, she didn't know. It bothered her really. Was this how Alina was going to treat the family that took them in when no one else would? They fed them, clothed them, raised them. Ace didn't know anything else but, the Longbottoms. She was rather proud to be one.
Ace walked through Alina's part of town. It gave her the creeps. There were creepers all over the place. Gross. Ace kept her head down, and never looked at anyone. She just focused on getting to Alina's apartment, and getting there are fast as she could. Ace clutched onto her neatly wrapped present for Alina and she hurried to the streets and into Alina's apartment building. This place was just as disgusting as outside. How could Alina live here? She could have so much better if she actually had a decent job.
Ace knocked on Alina's door, almost to touch it. It looked like it was going to fall off it's hinges. Way to be safe Alina, she thought to herself. Before Ace had left home, Neville asked her to try and knock some sense into Alina, again. Ace promised she would try but, she couldn't promise a result. "Oh, ewww!" Ace squealed, as a rather large, disgusting looking bug crept along the floor. "Ugh, Alina get me out of this bloody hallway!"

Watch me I'm i n t o x i c a t i n g -------------------------------------------------
Alina was a very stubborn woman. She hated to receive any help from anyone. She would rather do it herself than have it handed to her on a silver platter. It gave her a sense of accomplishment in her life. The same sense of accomplishment that she got when she successfully captured a guy into her clutches from his significant other. She really did not know how she became so messed up in life. If she would of joined the Ministry like the Longbottoms wanted her to do she could have a beautiful house and a luxurious lifestyle. Alina didn't want a ministry job though. She wanted to find the one job that suited her best. She didn't care if it took her years to find, she just wanted to be happy.
Alina had just took the chicken out of the oven when she heard her sister outside of the door. She couldn't help but laugh at her sister's reaction. Alina rushed towards the door and opened it to see her sister standing there before her. The inside of Alina's apartment was much more clean and beautiful than the outside. There was no way Alina was going to allow her living space to be as messy as the rest of the building. Alina smiled towards her sister and embraced her in a hug before moving back into the room and waiting for her to follow.
"You know you really have to stop being scared of that hallway! There is nothing out there that will bite and cause infectious diseases or so I hope.." Alina said with a smile on her face as she let out a small laugh. She then sat down on the couch and motioned Ace to follow. Alina really did love her sister. To her, Ace was the only family she had. She was the only person who Alina could really open up to. Well, and of course Travis also.
"Is that a present for me?" Alina asked, a huge smile on her face. Alina loved to receive presents. They always made her feel so loved and at ease. Though she did hate having stuff just handed to her, she made an exception for presents. Alina was often showered with gifts from the men whom she was having affairs with. She loved to play the roll of the mistress and always preformed it perfectly.

Ace cringed and shut her eyes. Why did her sister have live here, when she could be somewhere so much nice? It made absolutely no sense to Ace. Her memory couldn't even help her with this one. Figuring people out wasn't really a strength of hers. Ace loved Alina but, not the way she lived. She could have it so much better, she deserved better but, yet she holed herself up...here.
Ace let out a sigh of relief as Alina opened the door and she wasted no time getting inside. "No because the only thing that will cause disease is you," Ace laughed. She had to give Alina some credit. Her apartment looked a million times better than that hallways, or this half of town. Still, even though she didn't like where Alina lived, Ace was going to be a good sister and still come and visit her.
Ace glanced down at the present in her hands as she said. "No, I just like wrap things for myself," she said sarcastically, and handed the gift over. She smiled and shook her head. Ace knew, in the back of her mind, that her present wasn't the only one Alina ever received. She wondered who was the unlucky fellow that she roped in next. Ace did not like her sister's lifestyle. Alina destroyed families, even if it wasn't her intention. That was horrible in Ace's eyes. Alina would smart, she could get herself a respectable job, find a nice house, a nice guy to be with. Instead, she tramped herself is what.
"How much to Mum and Dad send?" she asked, as if it were casual conversation. Ace knew a lot of things she wished she didn't. One thing she didn't know was why Alina just wasn't accepting help. Neville and Hannah were literally throwing money away by sending it to Alina. Ace hated lying to them, telling them that Alina was doing fine - when really, Ace didn't think she was. This maybe Alina's birthday but, she's twenty-one. She needed to wake up and smell the roses and realize that she has a family who cares for her. Ace didn't want to see her sister shove all that away and then, when Alina needs someone, they won't be there to help.

To Alina, she didn't need anyone. She was quite fine being on her own and fending for herself. She knew that she would never need anyone as long as she had her wit and charm. She could get any guy she wanted if she was feeling lonely. All she wanted to do was have fun while she was young and can. She had her whole life to settle down, marry and find a good career. Alina was scared of becoming old and boring like most people do as they age. The really only thing she had going for her was her beauty and ability to get what she wanted.
"Oh so my little sister knows how to joke now?" Alina said, a smile on her face as she let out a small laugh. Alina and Ace were so different. They were, personality wise, so different that it was weird that they were sisters. If it weren't for the fact that they had similar looks people would not believe that they were sisters. Alina always wondered why they were so different. They were both raised the same way after all. Guess it was just the way they thought of things.
"Thank you! I'll wait until later to open it though. We need to catch up first! How have you been? Hows school? Have any boyfriends I don't know about," Alina asked with an eager little smile on her face. She wondered how her sister was doing in the boys department. Alina knew when she was Ace's age she was with all kinds of boys. However, she knew that Ace wasn't like her so she was probably not as promiscuous as she was.
"I don't know how much nor do I intend to find out," Alina said, a solid look of hate on her face. Neville and Hannah never done anything to Alina to make her hate them, she just did. She felt as though she was better than them, than the whole family. Travis made her feel as though she was royalty. He was a death eater and was showing her the perks of the dark side. Alina was intrigued and wanted to join. The evil side of her was ready to come through and be wild.

Ace gave her sister a little sneer. "I only get it from you," she replied with a small chuckle. She always thought it was so weird how different they were. No one ever believed that they were really sisters - coming from the same parents. Still, they did. Ace often wondered who Alina was more like, their father, or mother? Who was she like? Ace really wished that they weren't dead. She so dearly wished she could meet them.
Ace smiled and sighed at Alina's eagerness to talk to her about school. "I've been good. School's all find and dandy. There's the usual drama floating in the halls but, you know." Ade shook her head and only laughed at Alina's boyfriend question. "No, no boyfriends." Ace had had her share of little flings here and there, a relationship or two in between. This year, however, she had yet to find someone interesting enough to keep her attention. She wasn't one to sleep around either, though once or twice she did have a drunk one night stand she didn't remember. Ace was more of a party girl, than a snog-every-boy-in-sight girl.
Ace sighed and shook her head. "Alina, why do you hate them? How can you? They did everything for us. They sheltered us, they love us, even if we are biologically related. They are our parents. They just...love you and want to help you when they can" Ace glanced around the apartment and mumbled under her breath, "Merlin knows you need it."
Adelaide had no clue of her sister's thoughts of joining the dark side. In fact, she didn't even know of Alina's involvement with this Travis character. It was something that Ace would immediately hate, and try to talk Alina out of.
