Kelsey was in a living hell. She had been kidnapped by Jack Lestrange weeks ago and was living her days in a volt at Gringotts. She was his personal sex toy now. Each day he would have her, abuse her, then leave her. Some days he would have sex with her five or six times. Kelsey had lost track of the days. She knew that it had been at least a month that she had been in here. No one should have to face the faith that Kelsey was. She had to spend her 17th birthday locked up in the volt. She felt like a prisoner with no hope for escape.
How she was treated depend on Jack's mood and the way she reacted towards him. Sometimes, the horcrux inside of her would take over and help her get through the sex with Jack. However, she would sometimes not please him and that was when Jack would abuse her. She had cuts, bruises and gashes all over her body. Jack had only been feeding her once a day on those bad days. On the good days she was treated like a queen. She liked being treated like a queen, but felt so dirty and ashamed of herself after Jack would leave. The only thought that would get her through the day was that she would be able to be free someday. All she wanted was to be free again.
Jack had told Kelsey that her family was dead. He had told her that he killed her brother, her father and that Bellatrix had killed James. Kelsey felt as though there was nothing left in the world to live for anymore. It was heartbreaking to go through life knowing that the people you care for are dead. Kelsey would often wonder if her mother and Vince were still alive. She hoped that they were. Deep down inside, Kelsey hoped that Jack was bluffing and that her family was still alive. She could still feel the presence of James around her and knew that he could be dead.
If there was one thing that Kelsey had regretted it was telling her father that he was dead to her. She had caught him having sex with one of her best friends and she had totally flipped out. She had eve punched him. Then she had left for the Great Hall where someone has slipped something into her drink and she was later kidnapped that night. Kelsey wanted nothing more than to be with her father right now. She couldn't hate him. The fact that he might be dead tore her apart inside.
Kelsey wondered if people even noticed she was missing. The only people who would have really noticed her disappearance were dead. Hell, Kelsey left the castle without a trace so many times that people probably just thought she went home for a little while. What if no one would ever notice and she would live that rest of her life in that vault? Kelsey knew she would go insane any day now if she had to be there any longer. She wanted fresh air and human interaction other than Jack.
Kelsey was currently sitting on one of the beds in the volt, her feet to her chest. Jack had just finished raping her yet again and he had left. It had been one of the bad days where Kelsey refused to meet his desires. She had fresh cuts and gashes that were bleeding all over her body. Even though she had been raped many times by this man, there was a fresh trickle of blood coming from her vaginal area from all of the trauma she had endured. Fresh tears poured from her eyes as she sat there, naked. Jack had taken away all forms of clothing and anything that could be used to cover herself up. All Kelsey wanted was for someone to come save her from this evil fate she was enduring. She wanted her life to go back to normal and for this to all be over. However, she had lost hope a long time ago and knew that this was her life now. She was ready to give everything up and stop fighting Jack. Sure the horcrux was helping her at some points but other than that she was on her own and scared. Kelsey felt more tears fall from her eyes. There were two people that she needed right now. One was James, and the other was her father. Sadly, to her knowledge, she would not be able to see either of them again in her life.

For the past month or maybe two, Robert was positive he was in hell. Robert felt he had gained something back but, then quickly lost it, all of it. Everything he worked for he thought was gone. His only daughter, considered him dead, and never wanted to see him again. The son which hated him had been in a coma for weeks.
A line of traumatizing events had finally crushed Robert to his breaking point. He saw that his family didn't care for him. After Anton's accident, everything was put into perspective. For one, Anton's accident screamed Jack Lestrange, so much so that Robert couldn't wait to kill the son of a bitch. In those four, long, agonizing weeks, Robert's entire world stopped. All he wanted was to trade places with Anton so he could die, and his family could be alive and happy without him. That's all he wanted, for them to be happy. He had began to thought that maybe it was better if he took himself out of the picture. He wouldn't be there to hurt them all if he was dead. He could stop hurting them. Robert never left Anton's room. Only a few times to give Dominique time alone with him had he left the room, the hospital even.
Then, something happened. A step forward was taken. Robert was really beginning to patch things up with Mandy. She'd been honest with him, even though there was much she still didn't know - like his "detention" with Adrienne. Robert couldn't tell her that one. It would Mandy beyond repair, and Robert would much rather live with his own guilt than hurt her again. They had forgiven each other and apologized in only a way they could. Sex. It wasn't just sex though, there was twenty years of love behind it with a hundred years worth of love added to it. Right there, the the same room that his comatose son was in, they loved. It was definitely not a story to tell Anton about.
Since then, things were looking up. Of course, just as things were looking up - they went straight back down, again. Anton had woken, and asked if Robert was there. Oh, he sure was. It was a long awaited father-son moment Robert never thought he'd ever get to share with his eldest son. It was a joy that did not last long, not at all. Anton informed them that Kelsey had been taken, kidnapped by none other than Jack Lestrange. St. Mungos Hospital was extremely lucky that Robert LeBlanc didn't blow the place up with the amout of fire that flared out of his nose.
He had instantly returned to Hogwarts, to find Lestrange wasn't around. He contacted his son-in-law, James Potter, and broke the news to him. Poor boy. Oh, he wanted to help with her rescue but, Robert wouldn't hear a word of it. He wasn't about to endanger another person. Potter had to stay at Hogwarts at all costs. Robert wasn't sure where to look for her first. Help was at his side, literally on the wall and a little to the left. It was the late Albus Dumbledore. Robert had restored the old headmaster portraits to their proper places. Dumbledore wasn't angry about his placement in storage. It was all thanks to that painting of the cookey, wise, old wizard that Robert even found out where Kelsey was. Even paintings of dead people had their connections.
Kelsey was in a vault, at Gringotts. Robert literally had no idea how the hell he was going to get to her. Waltzing right on in there was down right stupid and impossible. It was mission impossible, and Robert was going to complete even if it killed him. He could only imagine what Jack was doing to Kelsey and it killed him to think about it. Robert wasn't even sure if Kelsey was still alive. No, she couldn't. That horocrux part of her wouldn't let Jack just kill her. Besides, that would mean killing part of Bellatrix, and Robert was sure that Jack didn't want to do that.
Getting into Gringotts had been easier than Robert thought. He really only had to make sure Jack wasn't there, and with portrait Dumbledore's help, even portrait Snape, Robert found a way to get in there when Jack Lestrange wasn't anywhere near Gringotts. He came across several problems. First, Robert couldn't go anywhere without being followed by this bloody reporter named....Petrelli...Peters? Gah, Robert hated the woman - though she was kind of attractive. Yes, somebody please mentally slap him, thanks! Okay, sooooo, he got into the bank, pretending as if to go to his own vault but, Robert quickly turned on the goblin that was taking him to his vault. They really were peaceful creatures but, this one refused to tell Robert anything. After some....persuasion, the little thing that bleed green took Robert to where he wanted.
There was yet another problem. Getting into the vault. There wasn't exactly a key, and the goblin couldn't open it either. Robert tapped on the giant iron door, hoping for a hollow, weak sound. He got nothing. The door was tightly sealed. There was no getting in there conventionally. Robert had to think outside the box. He paced in front of it, thought and thought and thought. The oh so helpfully goblin took off, leaving Robert there alone...in the dark. He had his wand of course, and after some time illuminated so he didn't kill himself by falling off the ledge. Not a very heroic death when you didn't even get to be the hero. If Robert was going to get in there, he had to find that dragon. A dragon was rumored to guard Gringotts. He didn't have to worry about getting through curses of the building but, if that dragon was really here - it's breath could melt anything - like iron. It was a metal, and when heated properly would melt. A charm from a wand was not going to do anything.
Robert didn't even think about the huge risk he was putting himself at right now. He didn't' care. In order to get to Kelsey, he had to meet a dragon. He'd be defenseless but, he'd die trying. Now, how to bring that dragon here? It took a few minutes but, Robert figured something out. It was simple really. He just walked over to the next vault, whomever it was, and tried to 'Alohomora’ it open. A curse blew at him, and Robert just barely dodged it. That should do the trick. Robert froze his body and listened. All he could hear was his thumping, fast paced heart, and air coming in and out of his lungs. There was just pure silence for five whole minutes. He was about to find some alternative when he heard it - the unmistakable beating of gigantic wings. The dragon was coming. Robert positioned himself in front of the vault Kelsey was in, his wand illuminated and aimed at the pitch dark ahead of him. He could hear the dragon racing to get him.
"Come on you winged bastard!" He yelled out into the darkness. The dragon slowly rose from the dark below, beating its wings and had a mean look. It roared at the sight of Robert. He had to time this right to get it. The dragon, as nature intended, shot fire out at Robert. He was barely able to dodge out of the way. Like he thought, the fire pressed agains the door. The seems immediately glowed red hot. It didn't last long, as the dragon realized Robert's move. He had to dodge and turn and jump every which way. Each wave of dragon's breath that hit the door just heated it a little bit more. Robert was panting for breath, clutching his side. Just one more time was all he needed. One more blow and that door would be weak enough for him to blow his way in there. Robert stared the dragon right in the eye, egging it on. It didn't take long for the creature to make another attempt to burn him into a strip of sizzling hot bacon for breakfast...lunch? what ever time it was.
Taking a deep breath, Robert eyed the dark empty space, the twenty feet he needed to run to be safe from the flames. Finally, the dragon showed its warning signs, fire was coming. Robert ran with all the life he had left in him. The dragon blew out it's breath, and caught Robert's arm. He yelled in pain as the side of his arm was burned. He tripped forward, and he could see his wand, still aglow, rolling in the air toward the ledge. Robert couldn't lose he wand. He didn't hesitate to fly after it. Somehow, he snatched his wand, and was able to save himself from rolling off the side. His legs flew over the cart tracks below, and he was able to pull himself back up. The dragon meanwhile, had done just Robert wanted - the door was soft enough for him to blow through. First, regretfully, Robert had to kill the dragon otherwise, getting out was practically impossible. To save Kelsey, he had to do whatever needed to be done.
Unsteadily pointing his wand, Robert's voice boomed "Avada Kedavra!" A green beam of light shot out of his wand, hitting the dragon straight in the heart. It let out one scream before it was stunned and then began to fall down into the darkness. Robert walked over the side, clutching his unburned arm, which had a deep cut he didn't' realize he had until he noticed it was bleeding. He looked down, and could hear only whooshing air. The dragon was dead....or so he thought. It wasn't going to reappear, not yet. "Kelsey," Robert said, and turned on the door. "Kelsey! If you're in there, TAKE COVER!" he yelled. He thought very hard, and stared at the softened barrier that was holding her in. "Confringo," he thought - and whatever was left of the door, exploded apart. Robert hadn't really thought of what was going to happen when he cast that spell. Pieces of iron flew in all directions. Robert dove to the ground but, not before a large, sharp piece impaled itself on his lower, right leg. He could feel it pierce the bone and he let out a rather loud 'fuck'.
Robert struggle to his feet when everything had settled. He had small cuts on his face, had a burned left arm, cut right arm, and now had a piece of metal sticking in is right let. Fun times, eh? Robert bit through the pain and walked...well, stepped with his left foot, dragged his right, while holding his bleeding right arm with his burned left hand - yeah he was a mess. Still, if he could Kelsey alive, he didn't care. "Kelsey?!" his voice boomed but, he immediately coughed due to smoke inhalation. Robert couldn't focus his eyes completely. The room was blurry, as his eyes were watery from all the fire, smoke, and such things. In fact, his eyes bloody burned now that he thought of it. They were all red and irritated. He could see a dark mass...what looked like a...bed? "K- " cough, " Kelsey?" Robert hoped for an answer.

She was beginning to lose all hope. Kelsey knew that she didn't have much to live for anymore. As she sat in the bed, thinking of everything in the outside world, she realized that there was nothing really left for her. If she did manage to escape this ill fitted punishment, what was there for her to escape to? To her knowledge her family was dead. Without them in her life there was really nothing to live for anymore. What if she didn't escape? What if she was doomed to live her days in that vault, forced to have sex with Jack. Either way, her life would suck. So then the question arose, what was she living for?
Kelsey knew she couldn't do this anymore. She needed a way out from this world. Nothing would change her mind from what she was about to do. Kelsey looked around the room and landed her eyes upon a knife. Just hours before Jack had brought in strawberries and whipped cream for some sick kinky sex thing with Kelsey. He had used the knife to cut the strawberries, and Kelsey at one point. The foolish man had left it behind, providing Kelsey with the way out she so desperately wanted. Kelsey rose from the bed and walked over to the knife, picking it up in her hands. She gazed down at the knife, thoughts flooding through her head.
She thought of James at first. She was beginning to forget what his face looked like. His scent was practically gone from her memory and she could no longer remember what his touch felt like. She missed her husband with all of her heart. Every bone of her body ached for him. She wanted to be with him for one last moment, to taste his sweet lips and to be held in his strong embrace. Living this life she would no longer be able to do those things and that was why she needed her way out.
Then her thoughts switched to her father. Kelsey regretted everything she ever said in hatred towards dear old Robert. He meant well, she knew that. His penis just seemed to cloud his judgment most of the time. Kelsey missed her father. She missed how safe she felt when he was around her. She missed just being there with him and knowing everything was going to be fine. He truly was the greatest father any girl could have and Kelsey felt like she had took him for granted. She needed her father more than anything right now and sadly she would never see him again.
Tears fell from her eyes and landed onto the silver blade of the knife as Kelsey thought of these things. She had taken her life for granted so much and just wanted to go back to how it was before. She wanted to be with her dysfunctional family again. There was only one way she knew how to be with them again. Kelsey paced back and forth, preparing herself for what she was about to do. A breeze hit her naked body, causing her to shudder slightly. She heard a commotion from outside of the vault but thought nothing of it. Often times, sounds from the very bottom of the bank would echo its way up to the top floor where she was. Kelsey stopped pacing and decided it was now or never. She took the knife into both of her hands and placed the blade facing just above her left breast and towards her heart. She was prepared to take her own life to escape all of this heartbreak. Closing her eyes, Kelsey extended both of her hands and prepared to plunge the knife into her heart. she was about to do it when she heard a voice. This voice was familiar to her and she knew it. Kelsey stood in shock as she listened to the voice call for her and she dropped the knife to the floor.
"Dad?" Kelsey said in shock. Then she heard what the voice said a second time and Kelsey did not think on it. She dove under the bed and took cover. A huge explosion rang through her ears as she covered her whole body under the bed. She could see smoke and dust debris fly around the floor. Kelsey laid there in shock until she heard her name being called. She knew that voice right away and her heart sang with joy. She was so in shock that she didn't know what to do. Then she heard her voice being called for a second time and she felt her legs get a mind of its own. Kelsey crawled from underneath the bed and stood up. Her worn out and scarred naked body was slightly covered by the smoke in the room as she struggled to see the figure. Then, tears of utter joy fled to her eyes as she looked at the body that was her father.
"Dad!" Kelsey said in joy as she ran over and embraced her father in a hug. She placed her face in his chest and began to cry, so happy that her father had finally came to rescue her. He wasn't dead after all which meant maybe Jack was lying and her family was alive. Kelsey had never felt so amazing in her life before. She didn't care that she was bleeding and naked in front of her father. All she cared was that he was there with her right now.
"I've missed you so much. I thought you were dead! He.. He told me he killed everyone," Kelsey wept as she held onto her father for dear life. This all seemed so unreal to her. In the back of her mind she wondered if this was a dream. It seemed too good to be true for Kelsey and her bad luck. Maybe she had actually killed herself and this was the afterlife. No, that was not it. It was the real thing and Kelsey couldn't have been more happy.

Robert blinked his eyes together in an attempt to clear his blurry vision. He rubbed them, rubbing out the burning dust as much as he could. All Robert could see was a body appear. In less than a heartbeat he knew it was Kesley. Robert was....a whole mess of things as Kesley ran over to him. First and foremost, he was just so very happy she was alive at all. He felt more love than any father could ever even know.
The whole time Robert had been playing chicken with the dragon, Robert was more scared than he cared to admit. For all he knew, he was Kelsey's only chance. Even if she didn't want him, Robert wasn't just going to let Lestrange keep her locked up forever. A father always protected his children, even if they didn't want anything to do with him. Saving Kelseyw as not an act of redemption, it was an act of love. He would stand by and let some crazed, inhuman, man take his only daughter away. Merlin knows what Lestrange had already done to her over the past month. If he had to die to get her out (now that he kenw she was alive) then, so be it.
Robert cringed through is pain as Kelsey hugged him. Despite the bleeding, blistering burns, and what not, Robert wrapped his arms tightly around Kelsey. Bittersweet tears rolled out of his eyes, a mix of joy and pain. He had told her they were dead? Fury washed over Robert. Had that been Jack's intent with Anton, to kill him? Anton came close with death, far too close. "No, no," Robert said, trying to comfort her. "We're all fine." He chose to leave all out the Anton details. Now wasn't the time. Robert needed to focus on getting Kelsey out of here before Jack returned.
He tried, he really really tried not to show his pain. Kelsey's salty tears were dripping on him like a waterfall, splashing onto his various burns. Robert thought he could just clench his jaw and bear it, it was too much. He let out a deep grunt, and gently pryed Kelsey off of him. Robert's physical pain was written all over his expression. He took of his simple gray t-shirt and gave it to Kelsey after realizing she was naked. It was awkward, to say the least, as she was grown. As tattered as the shirt was, it was at least something.
Robert had to turn around. He should keep looking at Kesley. He picked up on all the cuts and bruises on her. He clenched his fists, both in seething rage and pain. Robert took this opportunity to carefully, and slowly, extract the piece of iron sticking in his leg. It was the worst physical pain Robert had ever experienced but, he wanted to hopefully do it before Kelsey noticed. He pulled it out, hoping she was distracted by covering herself up, wanting to sheild her from seeing it. It hurt like a mother fucker and Robert let out another painful groan through clenched teeth, and tossed the piece of metal to the floor.
Robert panted through the pain that was now shooting up and down his leg like razors. It made him forget about his arms for a little while. "How did ...." Robert paused, he didn't even want to say his name, or even use 'he' "...we just have to get you out of here," he finished, changing his sentence entirely. Robert looked around the room, now that his eyes were better adjusted. The sight of the room confused him. There were was a bed...and...objects Robert preferred not to think about what they were used for. There was dust and shards of metal everywhere from the blast. He had expected there to be less. He had thought he'd find her chained to a wall or something. Instead, Robert found Kelsey naked and quite obviously abuse. Whatever that asshole did to Kelsey, Robert was going to find a way to have the same exact thing done to Jack - and he hoped to hear the man scream like the little girl he'd done...merlin knows what to.

Kelsey thought she was dreaming. The sweet escape she had been waiting for was finally here and she couldn't be more thrilled. She had lost all memory of what the outside world looked like. The only thing she seemed to know was of the rooms in the vault and various ways to please Jack. She knew that she would never in her life be able to forget what she had witnessed the whole month. She was scared about what people would think of her. She felt so dirty and used. Would James still love her? All of the wounds that had healed from her first rape attack, both physically and emotionally were now re-opened and pained her deep into her very core.
Kelsey let more and more fresh tears fall from her eyes as she held onto her father for dear life. She never wanted to let him go. It saddened her how it took something like getting kidnapped to make her realize how much her father meant to her. She loved him so much, and even more so since he did this for her. It really showed her how much he actually cared for her and what he was willing to do to make sure she was safe. Her heart exploded with relief as he said that everyone was fine. It was something that she had really needed to hear to ease her soul. All of the suicidal thoughts she had just moment before were now erased from her memory. She never wanted to live more than what she wanted to at that very moment.
"I thought everyone was dead and there was nothing to live for anymore. I.. I was going to kill myself just before you came. I really thought you were dead," Kelsey cried into her father's chest. She didn't know how to explain what she was feeling. As her father gently pushed her away she finally saw how bad of shape he was in. He suffered all of that pain just for her. It warmed Kelsey's heart so much. Kelsey took the shirt from her father and put it on. She was so relieved to have some clothing, seeing as it was kinda awkward to be standing naked in front of her own father. Kelsey's body ached all over. She had received so much trauma to her body that it was hurting her just to breath at the moment, let alone stand.
"Dad, thank you for doing this for me. I take back everything I had said that day in your office! I love you. I love you so much. I wouldn't ask for any other father," Kelsey said as more tears dripped from her eyes. She was so busy saying this to her father and putting on the shirt that she did not notice her father take out the metal from his leg. Kelsey was surprised that he even came to save her. She knew that she would have been pissed if it was her own child who punched her in the face and said that she was dead to them. Kelsey felt as though she had taken her father for granted. She knew that she would never do such a thing again in her lifetime.
"Please get me out of here. Jack will be back any second and I don't want to risk losing you again like I though I already had," Kelsey said to her father with tear filled eyes. The thought of Jack killing her father for real was just too much for her. She wouldn't be able to live with herself and she would really kill herself if that were to happen. Kelsey began to walk out of the vault, looking around at the mess of debris and such. She had no clue where to go and thought it would be best to let her father lead the way. She knew that there was no apparation inside of gringotts and therefore they would have to walk out the same way they got in. Hopefully nothing would stop them on their journey back home.

Robert wished that he could have been an oblivator. He wanted so much for Kelsey to ever to forget that all of this happened to her. Maybe, when he got her out of her. he could find one to do it for him. Robert held onto Kelsey like if he let go, Jack would swoop in and snatch her. There was no way in hell that Robert was ever going to let that happen again.
Robert, himself, cried silently as Kelsey continued to explain. The thought that if he'd been just a few moments later, he wouldn't have found her alive. That thought ate him, it ate him alive. Robert had been so determined to find Kelsey alive that he never really thought of the possibility that she could have been dead. He couldn't say anything to her, only hold her (while clenching through his pain) and kiss the top of her head repeatedly. "Shhh..." he said, in a sort of vocal attempt to comfort her.
Robert sighed at the mention of the event in his office. He hadn't forgotten, as he hadn't seen Kelsey since that day. Still, he deserved every word that Kelsey said to him, he deserved the punch in the face/nose. Robert had needed a second wake up call, and that had been it. He was such a dumbass for even taking a drink that day but, it had been calling his name - and, he couldn't help himself. When he got out of here with Kelsey, he was going to make sure she didn't say anything about it to Mandy - or erase it from her memory. There was one oblivator he knew, that would be willing to help him if need be.
Robert was not a magical healer but, he knew enough to at least stop is bleeding. His limited knowledge wouldn't heal him but, it would be enough so he wouldn't bleed to death. Robert turned and looked at Kelsey. "I didn't exactly figure that out yet," he said and looked to the space that had been the vault door. Well, he knew what was out there - miles of pitch black...going downward. They could attempt to follow the tracks down but, if a cart came along - they'd be permant decorations that no one would ever see.
"Do you have any idea how....he came and went?" Robert ventured to ask. He didn't want to make Kelsey remember anything from her horrible experience but, Robert didn't have a plan. He wished he would have made one along the way. He had been just so focused on getting to Kelsey, that he forgot about the getting out. Robert glanced around the room, looking for some secret passage. There had to be some easier, safer, way to get out of here.

As Kelsey spent her days inside of this vault, she had realized something. All of her life, she had been waiting for people to rescue her. She had been doing things just for attention so she wouldn't feel so alone. Kelsey was tried of this. She didn't want to be the poor victim anymore. She told herself that if she ever got out of this vault that she would do everything she could to make her life better. No more drinking, no more stupid mistakes, and no more getting herself in life threatening situations. She knew that she was a huge target now that word of her being a horcrux came out. She, herself, would have to figure out what she wanted to do and where her alliances were.
"I am so happy to see you again," Kelsey whispered as she felt her father's lips grace her head. All she wanted to do right now was leave and go see her mother and her brothers, and James of course. She wondered what James had been thinking the whole month she was gone. Did he even notice? Did he even care? Of course he did. Kelsey would be stupid to think other wise but she couldn't help it. Being in that vault and being treated the way she was really damaged her emotionally. She couldn't remember things anymore and it felt as though she was a stranger to the world.
They needed a way out. Kelsey was determined to get out of this place, alive. She did not endure so much just to die at the very end. There had to be some way to get out. Jack would get here in the blink of an eye, so there must be some kind of way out other than the front door. Kelsey looked around the room and tried to think of what Jack would do after he raped her. Most of the time she would black out from all of the trauma her body would receive but there was this one time where she was awake and he went into the only locked room in the entire vault. Then it hit her. There must have been a floo network, or a portkey or something there.
"I have an idea. I need to borrow your wand though," Kelsey said to her father as she very gently took his wand from him and walked over to an oak door in the far corner of the room. Praying that it would work, Kelsey pointed the wand to the door and said, "Alohomora!" The door, to her contentment, clicked as it unlocked and opened for her. A great smile of accomplishment came on her face as she looked towards her father. She didn't know what would be in this room, but she was prepared to find out.
"Follow me, dad. I think there is a way out in here," Kelsey said as she indicated with her hand for her father to follow. She entered and looked around the room for something, anything that would look like a portkey, or a floo network, but sadly there was nothing. The room was completely empty, aside from a great huge tapestry on the wall. Kelsey felt her whole body go numb. This was just a dead end. She would never get out of here. Kelsey's footsteps could be heard throughout the room as her bare feet hit the stone floor as she ran around, looking for anything. In frustration she groaned and stopped in front of the tapestry. She gazed at it, taking in the large picture of a snake, all decorated in Slytherin green and silver. This man was way too much into his former house. Why would there be a random tapestry just hanging on the wall? Curiosity overcame Kelsey as she walked up to the tapestry and lifted it up to look behind it. She groaned more as she saw it was just more wall. In anger, Kelsey went to slam her hand against the wall, but was surprised when she saw her hand just went through.
"It's a portal!" Kelsey exclaimed with a smile on her face as she looked at her father. With all over her strength that she could muster, Kelsey pulled the tapestry down to reveal the wall. You could see the portal move slightly as Kelsey put her hand in once again and then take it out. "I wonder where it leads to," Kelsey said out loud, more to herself though. She was scared to see what was on the other end. What if Jack was there, waiting to kill them? Kelsey knew that she would have to wait to see what her father thought about this portal. Kelsey stood there, looking at the portal, wondering if it was a sweet escape at the other end, or an end to her life.

As Kelsey babbled about knowing a way out, his brain had a little flashback to seventeen years ago. Robert smiled to himself, remembering the day she was born. They were all so happy to have her, he was so thrilled to have a daughter. She was the prettiest baby he had ever seen. After she was born, Robert never wanted to stop holding her, even when he had to leave for those dark Death Eater missions. Today, Robert loved her the same - endlessly. Kelsey was his little girl, and he was so very relieved that he'd found her alive, and hated himself for not noticing her missing after the first day.
Robert was pulled out of distant memories of Kelsey, by Kelsey. He painfully limped on over and through the door. Hmph, well this didn't get them very far. It was a completely empty room. Robert leaned against a wall, shifting his weight off of his right leg. Things didn't hurt physically quite so much but, they still hurt. Robert was just doing his best to hide it from Kelsey, even though he knew she could see them - as it was pretty obvious.
Robert wasn't quite as excited about the portal as Kelsey appeared to be. Who knew where it went? Or, if Jack was waiting for them on the other side? He looked at it, with a suspicious look in his eye. Robert didn't trust it, not one bit. They had a choice, either go through this portal to Merlin knows where, or go back the way he came in - which was sort of impossible. He rubbed his jaw - a habit he did when thinking. Going through this portal could be the worse decision but also the best. To go, or not to go. Even though Robert didn't like it, they had to go through. It was the only logical choice really. Going back the other way, they could easily get lost or worse, killed.
"We have to go through it, and hope there is something better on the other side," Robert said, after thinking for several moments. He moved away from the wall, and gently took his wand back from Kelsey, giving her a bit of a smile. Robert took her hand in his, and took a deep breath. "Come on," he said, and cautiously stepped through the portal, while holding tightly onto Kelsey's hand. Much to Robert's relief, they found themselves in the small alley behind Gringotts. It was funny, Robert didn't even know this was here. It was rather dirty, dark, and it smelled like cat piss. No one would expect this alley way to hold some crazy ass portal.
