WARRIOR POET ONCE SAID ," you're not dead yet so live like you could be . " • • • • • • • • • • • •
Today was one of those days that was destined to go wrong. First off Di overslept, which made her sister late to work seeing that she had to apparate her to school, to make it worse, the baby sister didn't show up which therefore meant Elizabeth had to come with her today. Deciding to skip class's the young sixteen year old found herself carrying her nearly 2 year old down to the black lake. Lizzie wearing her white shocking? her little red dress, her black jacket and her black strapped shoes. A smile on both of their faces as Di brushed her toddlers hair out of her face.
All Diana wanted for today was to remain to herself, stay away from everyone, she didn't want her reputation to be ruined already. She had already been called a whore twice this week for having a kid when she was fourteen, the bad thing was she couldn't' help that she was a mother already. There was no way for her too. She couldn't' stop her step dad, he had her wrapped around his finger until now. now she was free, her and her daughter, and nothing could be better.
With a smile on her face she walked over to a tree pointing her wand and placing a blanket on the grass for her to sit on. once she did she placed her daughter beside her with a grin on her face as her daughter picked up her baby doll and started to play with it. The young Diana just layed back looking up at the tree listening to her daughters giggles as she tried to think of what to do today, she knew she couldn't go inside the school, because two many people, so her best bet was just to sit here until her sister showed up to take her and her daughter back home...

Artimis stood in front of the tall mirror in the dorm bathroom, the door locked behind him so no one could get in. He took his shirt off, staring himself down in the mirror. His hair had gotten longer and shaggier, rather than the short clean cut he once had, and his face was starting to loose some on its color, just like the doctors said it would. He turned a bit to gaze at his right shoulder. Upon the shoulder blade was a bite mark, still red and slightly bloodied. He sighed softly to himself as he reached over in a drawer and pulled out a bandage, taking the time to softly apply it over the mark. As soon as the mark was covered there was a sharp knock at the door. "Come on Arty! We're gonna be late!" A boy's voice rang out. Artimis tossed on his shirt and walked over to the door pulling it open. "You guy's go without me, I'm not feeling too hot." He told them as he stepped out. The last thing he needed right now was to go to class.
The Lake was set in his mind as a good place to venture to during first period. He grabbed his coat and began to head out of the common room, parting with his friends as they made their way to class. He hurried down the staircase and out the oak doors before the bell could ring and any teachers could see him. He ventured across the green strands of grass and out unto the Lake. He thought he would be alone, but alas, there seemed to be a girl here laying int he grass and staring up at a tree. He chuckled a bit and walked over to her, bending over her slightly, his shaggy hair falling a bit. Skipping class are we?" He spoke, a big grin on his face. Though he felt like death itself, he would never show it. He glanced over, looking at the baby, then back to her. "Or...babysitting?" He said with a chuckle.

WARRIOR POET ONCE SAID ," you're not dead yet so live like you could be . " • • • • • • • • • • • •
The morning was nice in her opinion. Yes it was chilly out but the wind wasn’t blowing, and the air was clean, something Diana had needed for a very long time. The sound of Liz playing and giggling just brought a bright smile to her face. Yes she had gotten pregnant at the tender age of fourteen, but she wasn’t going to let that bother her, or get in the way of how she treated her daughter. Diana knew she couldn’t blame Liz for what her stepfather, and Liz’s father did, so she just put on a smile and tried to be as happy as possible.
With her eyes drifting shut she had nearly fallen asleep, but not to worry she had placed a magical boundary on the large blanket were her daughter couldn’t crawl away, she heard someone speak as they leaned over her slender body. Nearly jumping she covered it up with a small laugh as she looked up at the boy, he was… hot, but she couldn’t think like that. “Hmm well it seems I am not the only one skipping classes today now am I.” The young lady said with a bright grin as she crossed her hands behind her head starring up at the guy. When his words mentioned the child her heart stopped, and Diana almost found herself panicking, but he gave her an escape, babysitting. Yes that’s what she was doing. Placing that smile back on her face she nodded. ‘Yeah, little sister, the baby sitter didn’t show up this morning so I had to bring her with me.” Diana said with a believable tone in her words…He would believe her right? It was a perfect statement, as long as Liz stayed quiet and didn’t go off saying mommy.

Artimis' eyes lit up softly, giving some of the color back to his face, as he grinned once again, the girl jumping slightly at the sound of his voice. She spoke a comeback at him and he chuckled a bit. "Guess not." he replied as he looked over at the small child rolling around on the blanket. He grinned a bit more, thinking back to when he was a child and things were so much simpler. She spoke again and he turned his face back to hers, his smiled still placed on his lips. "Well she is a cute baby if I do say so myself." he chuckled out.
He bent back up right and then began to sit, but stopped halfway and looked at her. "Don't mind if I join you two, do ya?" Artimis asked politely, but found himself sitting down indian style anyways. His blue eyes grazed over the surroundings, taken in the lake and the blue skys above. The air felt cool, but not cool enough for a coat, so he bent his arms back a bit, wincing a bit in pain as he did so, though hopefully the girl wouldn't question that too much, and shrugged the coat off and onto the ground. He then picked it up and folded it over his arms a bit before sitting up and tossing it under his butt, giving him a better seat on the ground.

[ WARRIOR POET ONCE SAID ," you're not dead yet so live like you could be . " • • • • • • • • • • • •
The first real conversation the girl had had since about two weeks ago when she ran into that Lott girl under this same tree. But Diana could relate to that girl, she had twins for crying out loud, she got lucky with only having one, if you would even call that lucky. With a faint smile though Diana found herself sitting up straight and looking over at her two year old who was laying on her stomach looking at her doll giggling for who knows what reason. Diana just smiled at the toddler as she listened to him speak. "Thanks, I think so too... And Liz why don't you say hello to the nice man." Diana told her daughter whom automatically looked over to the guy, her blonde hair falling very slightly in her eyes as she tilted her head to the side and smiled a little white toothed smile. "Hellow!" she said with a giggle before going back and playing with her doll.
Diana just smiled at the baby talk before focusing on the boy again watching him sit, or almost sit "oh go ahead, I don’t mind, and Liz is too caught up in her doll to mind." She said as the boy sat down anyway. Diana couldn't help but watch him closely, she had a tendency to watch people, her step dad made her that way, made her timid, but at the same time it helped her in a way. When he winched, she didn't bother asking, it was not her business, and she knew she wouldn’t' want people in her business either. So she just put on her million dollar smile and ran her fingers threw her hair looking over meeting his blue eyes with her own. "Well what brought you out here today if you don’t mind me asking, since you clearly see why I am not in class?"

His blue eyes fell on the little girl as she looked over to him and spoke her greeting. He chuckled a bit and smiled. "Hey there." He said, giving a little wave of his hand as he did so. The little blonde headed girl smiled and then turned back to face her doll.
It wasn't that hard speaking to others now, though Artimis had feared it. That's why he kept skipping class and avoiding long talks with many of his friends, but now it wasn't so bad. The only thing he had to worry about really was scratching himself and growling (though he had only growled once by accident, but coved it up with a sly cough that kept him from trouble). He still was very weary of it all, but talking to this girl seemed to provide some sort of relief that he needed.
She didn't press the subject of his winching, which was great, but instead asked about why he was outside rather than in class with his mates. "Just didn't feel like going." He told her, looking off and towards the black lake. It wasn't a full lie, he really didn't feel good. After the incident, his body started to get random pains here and there, like the headache he had woke up to this morning.
"Oh! I'm Artimis by the way." He said with a chuckle, turning his attention back to her.

WARRIOR POET ONCE SAID ," you're not dead yet so live like you could be . " • • • • • • • • • • • •
It wasn’t too normal for Diana to get a normal conversation, basically because she didn’t participate in them. Why, because well she was never the social one. She lived a hard life, which made her normally quiet reserved, but over the past month with her being at Hogwarts she knew she had to change her ways. She had to try to be outgoing, and well she had to try to be a little wilder than she truly is, right? Just smiling she looked over at the boy as he spoke. “I know what you mean. Sometimes I wish we just didn’t have to go to class…Other than the weekends.”
Diana was being honest with that one. She didn’t like class, not the least bit, but she knew she needed to graduate, that and her sister were making her finish school, how sisterly like right. Shaking her head she looked at her daughter for a moment more before looking back at the man beside e her. Artimis now was it. That name suited him, at least in her opinion. “Fits you.” Diana said with a bright smile. “I’m Diana, but you can call me Di.” She stated. Even though the nickname was given to her by her ex and only boyfriend. It was something that she could at least always use to remember the boy by, but hey that was in the past and now she was starting new, or at least trying to.
Diana kept her hands on her knees as she sat there Indian style looking at Arty for a long moment. “Hmmm you know what, never mind.” She continued shaking her head before pulling her knees to her chest and just smiling a at the gorgeous face in front of her. ...

Arty looked over at the girl as she spoke, explaining how she felt about the classes. He chuckled a bit at it and gave a nod. He loved most of his classes, minus Potions (which thank Merlin he was getting switched out since he already knew the ways to make the wolfsbane potion needed to him dearly during the full moon). He didn't enjoy the lessons, but loved to see his friends, though it was becoming increasingly hard to act himself anymore. He had this strange sense of paranoia now implanted deep in the back of his skull, like a watchful vulture hunting its own prey.
She spoke again, and he now had a name to put on the cute face of hers. Dianna. Hmmm pretty name. He chuckled a bit at her little joke about his name, then spoke in turn. "Well your name fits you as well. Or at least I hope so or you'd be called something different now wouldn't ya?" Artimis gave a little grin then turned his head to the lake, peering out again at the vast body of still, black water.
As he stared out into the water, his thoughts left him, leaving nothing but a blank canvas of a mind, ready to be painted on once again. Nothing spilled out in his mind though as his blue eyes gazed upon the lake, and for a moment he felt peace. It was broken though by the sound of her voice, and he felt slightly ashamed for going silent all of a sudden, though she didn't care to notice. 'What?" He asked to her little statement, but she didn't call out an answer. He nudged her a bit playfully and smiled. "Come on! Don't leave me hanging like that." He said through a few chuckles, now placing his knees to his chest, his arms thrown over his kneecaps.

WARRIOR POET ONCE SAID ," you're not dead yet so live like you could be . " • • • • • • • • • • • •
Diana in her few months here hadn't managed to make any friends, mostly because she didn't have time to get out and meet people. During class she tried her best to pay attention and not think about her daughter who was who knows where, either with her sister or with the healer in the hospital wing who was kind enough to watch the young child while she was in school. But then soon after classes Di devoted ninety nine percent of her time to Lizzie. She was all that mattered to her, well her being OK that is. Yes Di strived It have a life, to live like a normal teenager but that would never entirely happen. Yes now she could loosen up and possibly make a friend here, a very attractive friend, but she wouldn't mention that, no. She couldn't let herself get wrapped up over things like boys even how bad her heart urned for her too.
With a smile on her face she couldn't help but let out a small laugh as he spoke. Her name did fit her, but hey it wasn't her real name. Her real name happened to be Black, not Keller, but do to her running away she found herself changing her name were she would be less likely found by her step dad, but she just took on one of her old friends last name, and to be honest it still sounded OK together. "Very true, even though I do find myself getting called the strangest things from time to time. But hey don't we all get called something totally random every once in a while by someone we dint even know." She asked with a smile on her face as she looked over at the boy who was keeping her company so far on this long day .
Diana just smiled yet again as she felt the nudge from him, and naturally she just nudged him back playfully before reaching up and ruffling his hair a bit. "Nope. I am just so going to leave you hanging like that. Because where is the fun when you know every thing." She stated with a wink before dropping her hand from the edge of his now slightly tousled hair and placing it back on her knee as she kept her bright blue eyes locked up upon his face. ...
