words: 562 tagged: anton notes: epic thread People always said you could tell when someone was in love. That this said person has a certain air about them and that their eyes sparkled. There was just something different about this person who was in love. Well what they never talked about was how that person in love really felt. How they couldn’t stop their eyes from sparkling or really thinking about that person in general. And this was how Dominique knew she looked and felt. She was in love with Anton and the thought of him made her smile, quickened her heartbeat and made butterflies explode in her stomach. And then seeing him was just absolutely crazy. It was the best thing in the world for her. She was able to see how she felt in him. He was in love with her and she was in love with him. It was just hard when some people just didn’t get it that they couldn’t stop this.
Like Anton’s father. For some reason since Dominique was a Weasley he hated her. She guessed that he was one of those guys that was for pure blood and all that jazz. And even though she did have pure blood her family was known as blood traitors. So since that wasn’t good enough the Headmaster either wanted the relationship to end or she knew he would prefer her dead. But since none of those would hopefully happen he just made sure that their prefect times were at totally different times. Dom usually had a ridiculously early shift. Like at three in the morning or something like that. She was pretty sure that time wasn’t even there until the Headmaster found out she was dating his son. But it was made for her but tonight she had the slot around ten at night. A reasonable time and hopefully one that she could meet Anton at.
The night was fairly boring so far. No students were out and it wasn’t like she was going to yell at any of them or take points away. Somehow she got this gig because she was supposedly a good girl. Well she only had all the Professors fooled. But the Headmaster did call her a whore but he could have been guessing. Didn’t matter to her. She took that with a grain of salt. And since the night was boring she decided the best place to go was the Prefect’s lounge. It was the best place to go at the moment when the night was boring. Maybe she could catch a few minutes of sleep or at least rest a bit. Walking around the school was tiring and rather boring.
Entering the lounge she couldn’t help but smile that it was empty. The fire was lit, which gave off a rather warm feeling and Dominique noticed how her ring reflected off the flames. It looked beautiful and she couldn’t believe it was hers. That the love of her life gave it to her. Smiling, just thinking about Anton she went over and laid down on the couch. She didn’t take up the whole couch since Dominique was rather tiny girl. But she let a yawn escape her lips and brought her hand up so she could look at it better. She couldn’t get used to having this ring on her finger at all times. It was like a dream.

Anton walked through the halls. It wasn’t his time for prefect duties, but he couldn’t sleep. Everything seemed so unreal that he walked around in a daze, trying to solve any of the things that were within his control. One of these was Jack Riddle. He could take that man down, and he would soon enough. He developed a plan, one that no one would, and no one could know about. Not even Dom, who would stop him if she found out he was going for him. Anton was somewhat nervous about attacking his enemy, especially when he knew that Jack was a freak that was capable of more than he could imagine. He would get his revenge on the man who attacked his fiancé, the man who had raped his sister, and the man who was now going after him. Anton just hoped that he could defend himself adequately to stay alive.
As he continued walking, he noticed that the moon was out. It was full and it illuminated everything it touched. He lifted his arm into the moonbeam that was coming through the window and his skin practically glowed. It was a beautiful sight, and he wished Dom was with him, holding his other hand. Dom. His one and only. She was the main reason for his daze. He was always thinking about her. In complete disbelief that he met the girl of his dreams, and was now engaged to her. Nothing else seemed to matter, he just wanted to be with her and talk. Even just look at her would be enough. Anton started walking again, to the Prefect’s Lounge. It was the only place he could hope to see Dom at this hour, and the only room in the castle where no more than two people would be. Once there, he grabbed the handle and walked in.
To his relief, a familiar blond lay on the couch. His sleep deprivation was taking its toll on him and the only thing he felt like doing was crawling to the couch and lying next to his soon-to-be wife. And that’s what he did. Without a word, Anton walked over to the couch and took up the rest of it, cuddling with Dom. He pulled her close and shut his eyes. “Hi,” he said quietly. He didn’t know if she was already sleeping, so he didn’t want to disturb her. It felt so right lying next to her. But then he saw her looking at her ring. She was awake. He couldn’t help but smile. She loved it, which meant she wouldn’t regret making her last name LeBlanc. His gaze moved over to the fire, and watched the flames dance in the fireplace. It made the room glow and his skin didn’t look as cold as it did in the moon light. Anton was glad he found Dom, tonight and the day they met.

words: 529 tagged: you know who you are notes: yes she is random The whole engagement through Dominique in a loop. Yes, she was excited she was now engaged to Anton but it made her forget about who was looking to kill her. She didn’t expect Anton to ask her to marry him and for Lily to die. All good things. But that still meant that Jack was looking to kill her and anyone was she was close to. He already knew about Anton, which was bad. She had managed to keep Anton out of her mind anytime she was near that man when she got close to him. Yet Dom didn’t know if Anton thought about her when Jack was near. Jack probably listened in to everyone to know who he should go after to get back at Dominique. He knew who her family was and probably knew all Weasleys and Potters were well protected. So why not go after her boyfriend who was now her fiancé?
Well Dominique wasn’t going to let that happen. She had a plan. But it really wasn’t a plan. She knew she couldn’t have a plan or Jack would know about it. So her plan was to literally go after Jack without a plan. It should work to her advantage because Jack wouldn’t know what to do. He relied on his powers too much. Plus Dom would be taking lessons from her Uncle to shield her mind. Couldn’t let Jack always have the upper hand. And another thing she knew to go for his eyes. Those would be the first to go once she decided to go after him. Dominique didn’t even know when she would go after him. Something she knew would make her explode. Hopefully it wouldn’t be something Jack did. Hopefully it would just be words exchanged and no one else was hurt because of her. Especially someone she cared for and loved.
Watching Anton come into the room she loved that he was comfortable enough to just come over and lay on the couch with her. Well he should know that after their engagement he was strong enough to be around her no matter what. Their bodies did fit together like a puzzle piece and Dominique couldn’t be safer than in his arms. “Ello,” she greeted him with a soft smile and turning toward him and kissing him. This was how they were supposed to be. A lovey dovey couple who just loved being together all the time. She would just love to see the Headmaster’s face knowing they still found eachother even with separate prefect times. He wouldn’t be the one to keep them apart. No one would be able to keep them apart.
Again a yawn escaped her lips but she really didn’t feel tired. It was probably just because she was extremely comfortable being in his arms. Since there was nothing in the world that could harm her while she was lying right here. “Did you know,” she started out feeling like talking for once. Yes a huge shocker. “I’m petrified of deep water?” This was the time when she would ask all the little question to get to know him better. To know absolutely everything about it.

Anton couldn't help but smile when she admitted her fear of really deep water. It was, after all, a rational fear, but of all the things she could be afraid of, she chose deep water. "No, i did not know that." He could only think of one thing that he was afraid of. His father. The only man that had shown Anton his true power only once before, and the fear he showed toward his father could easily be mistaken for respect. Now that Anton he had gotten older, Anton's fear had somewhat subsided, until he thought about what his father's reaction would be when he found out his son was getting married to the girl he specifically told him not to continue seeing. "What else are you afraid of?" He wanted to know, and wanted to put off his time to share.
Dom was someone that he found extremely interesting. He could sit around for hours talking to her, finding out things that they had in common, things they had opposing views on. One thing that they might have different ideas about was children. Anton didn't think that he could handle a kid. He was responsible, but being a father was something that took a lot of maturity. He had heard his entire life that he could be a good father, that he was the most mature, put together kid of his age and that he showed promise. But to have a child at 17 seemed like it would put too much of a burden on his already complicated life. It would just be another thing that his parents might disapprove of, hate him for. He didn't want to be a bigger disappointment. And as much as he had heard he would be a good father, he couldn't believe it. Dom and him were just kids after all.
Then he caught something he hadn't before. A little tiny beat. Like Dom's heartbeat, only a half a beat faster. He focused on it, trying to find the source, but the only thing he could hear was Dom's heart, beating steadily. He tuned hers out of his head and focused on the tiny little heart's beating. It sounded so faint, like a small animal in the next room. But it wasn't that quiet. There was no way that it was an animal in the next room. He could only remember one other time that he had heard a heart beat like that. In Lily Potter when they had their run in while she was... Pregnant. Dom couldn't be, it was impossible. He made his mind focus on Dom's words and the beating that was so prominent in his mind just a moment ago was gone. The stress poured back into him as he lay on the couch, staring at the fire.

Water was a fear, which was something that took a lot for her to admit. After what she has been through she wondered how water could possibly still bother her? Well it did. After all she nearly drowned in the ocean when she was five. Her father had to come save Dominique from the current that was quickly pulling her out to see. Her throat burned for weeks after because of the salt water she ingested. “Well now you do. And when you come to my house you will now understand why I stay on the beach.” She said smiling up at him. Dominique didn’t think of this as the time that when she answered a question he would answer the same one. No, this was just a time to get to know each other better. And hopefully he would answer some questions without Dom pushing him too much.
Another thing she was afraid of? Water was the big one but she could easily think of a second one. “Needles. Surprisingly.” She said knowing that it must be weird she was in love with a vampire then. But really she wasn’t scared of sharp things. Just needles and shots. “So if I ever go to a hospital for whatever reason. Make sure I don’t see them bring the shot into the room. Or stick it into me.” And she knew just talking about that her face got pale. Needles made her pass out. Could never watch herself getting a shot or when she got blood drawn. And even when she didn’t look she still got deathly pale. Dom shook her head getting that out of her head. It was probably easier for Anton when she went pale knowing that she didn’t have blood in her cheeks.
Dominique watched Anton’s face and saw quickly how his appearance changed. It wasn’t something that everyone would catch only she would. And she only caught it from knowing him and being with him practically 24/7. She wondered what exactly came into his mind. She picked up her head and kissed his nose just being cute. Dom gave him another smile before she snuggled back up next to him. “Let’s see. Anything else.” She mumbled trying to think of what else Anton might now know about her. “I speak French fluently. I would love to travel. Was accepted to Beauxbatons but my father wanted me to go to Hogwarts. And I am extremely ticklish.” She really was Fleur’s daughter when she said all that. Boy, would her mother be proud of her. Maybe her mother would even like Anton. Hopefully.

Anton couldn't wait to spend the day with Dom at her house. He knew it was by the beach and he just wanted to walk along the shore with his wife, and enjoy their time that they had together. And of course, he would take her out in the water in the middle of the night, as deep as she would let him take her, the moonlight making the water sparkle and floating on its surface, enjoying each other's company. Anton was pretty confident that he could make her fear of deep water go away in his arms. Only one thing brought him out of that picture. The constant beating that was in his ears. He got a sick feeling in his stomach the longer it went on. Another one of his fears; having a baby.
Anton smiled and tried his best to distract himself when she mentioned her fear of needles. It was kind of ironic, seeing how she was getting married to a vampire who had sharp canines and thirsted for blood. "I promise that i will never allow you to see a needle." He smiled slightly, looking worried still, and then kissed her cheek. It just seemed so perfect, things had been going too good and there must have been something hiding in the shadows to completely ruin the happiness. The thoughts lurked in his mind, and so did the constant beating of two hearts, one a half a beat faster than Dom's. It was going to be a very revealing night for the happy couple.
Anton's thoughts lay on Dom's words. The moment he heard that Dom was ticklish, he sat up and began tickling her. In that exact time, when his head was near her stomach, the second heart beat became louder. He stopped abruptly and stood up in a flash. His hands went to the side of his head, pushing his hair up at the same time. It was a terrible feeling, knowing what was growing inside of his girlfriend. He wasn't ready. His mind started racing, he got so worried. What would dom think? Would she be excited? How were two kids going to support themselves, and now a child? Would it be a girl? Or a boy? What was it going to be? The stress became too much for Anton to take and he collapsed to the floor, sitting cross-legged and facing the fire. His eyes shone in the light. Anton did not want to tell Dom, but he wouldn't have a choice. He couldn't look at her. It was all his fault and he should have known better. For all he knew, it was going to be a complete monster just like him, and now Dom was in even more danger from the pregnancy. But for now, he just sat silently, staring into the fire.

There were so many things that Dominique would love to show Anton once she brought him home to meet her parents. She actually couldn’t wait to bring him to where she grew up. A cottage right next to the ocean where no one else lived. It was just her family the ocean on one side and trees on the other. It was actually such the perfect place to grow up at. Really nothing else influenced Dom’s life except what her family taught her. And there was no way Anton would bring her into deep water. She knew him well enough that he was thinking about that. Trying to get her into the water near her house. Maybe if it was another ocean or somewhere else. It was just well she almost drowned in that water. There was no way she was going back into that water. Even if Anton was holding her. Dom may trust him more than anyone else in the world but her fear of deep water was a big fear.
The smile stayed on Dominique’s face as he reassured her he would not let her see the needles. At least she had that going for her now. Now he knew that if she ever went into the hospital to make sure everyone knew she would freak out at the sight of needles. That was always a good thing for healers to know. And Dom knew that telling him she was ticklish was a bad idea. As soon as she felt his hands tickling she started laughing. Even though she hated being tickled she also loved it. And well Anton tickling her made it even better. But she would have to find something to get back at him. Since now he could always just tickle her to get something out of her.
However as soon as he started tickling her it ended. She barely saw him get off of her and she knew how that happened. Because of his vampire powers. Dominique moved and held up her head with her hand looking at him. He was more stressed out than she has ever seen him. Well not as stressed out when they had their first fight. When Dom had to admit she talked with his father. He admitted that he went after Lily. And seeing him drop to the ground she was a bit shocked on how he was acting. “Hun, what’s the matter?” she asked getting off from the couch and sitting in front of him her back to the fire. She put a hand to his cheek holding his face so she can look at him. “What’s on your mind?”

Anton couldn't hold back his words. His mind was slowly filling up to the top and he was on the brink of exploding. "Dom, you are pregnant." His eyes avoided hers, he was taking full blame for all of this and if she was pissed at him, she would have good reason. It was his responsibility to protect her, and now he put her in danger. He was just waiting for her to ask how he knew, especially if she didn't. Anton wasn't sure he wanted to tell her how he knew, it was just another part of the curse that had taken over his life. To save her the trouble, he answered the question before it left her lips. "I can hear its heartbeat." He continued to look at the fire, his eyes a brilliant red, distracted.
Anton felt like he had good reason to fear fatherhood. After all, he hadn't had the perfect example during his childhood. His father, for the most part, shoved his children to his mother and then she shoved them off on to some other maid. And, to add even more on top of it, his father was gone constantly. If there was ever an issue, his dad would just tell them to suck it up, be strong like him. Well anton didn't know his father was strong since he never saw it. The fear he had towards his father was developed in part of this. His entire life, he wanted to be a better father to his children than his own was, and as a result, he was afraid he would turn out the exact same way.
For some strange reason, his tongue loosened and words just started spilling out. "Dom, i'm not ready to be a father. I'm not ready to be me again. Everything is just happening at the same time and it keeps piling up. It's just too much..." He put his head in his hands and let one tear fall out. Tears. Something that he hadn't experienced in a really long time. He let it run down his cheek by itself, no other followers. He still needed to see Dom's reaction. He just hoped that it was excitement. Just to make him feel better. Anton couldn't sit there anymore, he was getting more and more antsy. He stood up and started walking around the room, hands balling up into fists and loosening. A continuous cycle.

“I’m what?” Were the first words that came out of her mouth before she could even register the shock factor. She was pregnant. Those were the words that came out of Anton’s mouth and that really explained why he was so stressed. Dominique listened slightly to hear that he heard the child’s heartbeat. She couldn’t even be that far along!! And her fiancé could hear the child’s heartbeat. This totally surprised her. Dom didn’t even think she could get pregnant. “Did you know I could get pregnant?” she asked him looking up at him. She was pretty sure they both had the assumption that she couldn’t get pregnant. That it wasn’t possible with Anton being a vampire. What would the child be first off? Part vampire? Human? She had no idea.
Yet thinking that this child was Anton’s and hers made a smile come upon her lips. This was their child. She looked down at her stomach and put a hand there. She felt nothing different and didn’t feel different herself. Was she seriously pregnant? Dominique has always loved kids. For some reason it just came naturally to her and they didn’t annoy her at all. And now that she had one growing inside of her she couldn’t help but be excited! Yes, she was young and once she told the family they would surely try and kill her. Well maybe she was just marked for death now because her family didn’t even know she was engaged! Well at least the engagement came before the pregnancy. Even though both happened on the same night.
And then with Anton’s words her heart sunk a bit. She knew this was probably scary for him. Wondering what exactly the child was. But she was the one carrying the child. “And like I’m ready to be a mother? I have people out there who want me dead. I don’t think that’s any way to raise a child.” She said getting up and watching as he paced around the room. He was really stressed out over this. “But it takes two to make a baby. And we will at least have support from my family hopefully.” She said going over to him and taking his hand into hers. She lifted them up to her lips and kissed them. “We will take this day by day. And to be honest. I’m sort of excited.” Dominique said looking up at him with a small smile.

"No, i had no clue that you could get pregnant. If i did, do you think i would have been so reckless? God, i'm so stupid. I should have just proposed and then fell asleep. And now, you're pregnant." He wished there was something that he could do, to turn back time and go back, but it was his problem and he was going to have to deal with it. He wished that he wasn't acting this way, he wished that he would have been excited to hear that little heart beat coming from his wife's womb. He hated himself even more for the fact that he was acting like this in front of Dom. But wouldn't any father at the age of seventeen act like that? Maybe it was common for guys his age to get completely stressed out. And then again, there were about another hundred things that were going on in his life that he was already stressed to the max.
"Dom, i'm sorry. I shouldn't be acting like this." He was starting to get lightheaded, so he sat down on the couch and pulled himself back to the present. "It's just, I've never seen how a father should act, i have no clue how we can keep our family together with as many things that we have to go through. What if something happens to me, or worse? To you? It would be devastating and i wouldn't want that for our child." Our child, he thought. He liked the sound of that. He didn't want anything more than to have a family with Dom, but just not that soon. They weren't even married yet and now they were expecting.
"That's just it Dom. We might have the support of your family. We haven't even broken the news about our engagement. I don't think that they're going to enjoy that conversation. 'Oh hello Mr. Weasley. I want to marry your daughter, and one other thing. She's pregnant.' That will get their approval. And then what happens when they say to leave? Then we don't have your family or mine." He was becoming even more stressed, frantic even. Nothing seemed to provide comfort for him. He just wanted to run, run to the forest and stay there for a few days to think. Everything was hitting Anton at once and he was becoming overwhelmed.
Anton was just happy to hear she was excited, despite the fact he wasn't. All he wanted was to be close to his fiancee right now. "Come here." He held his arms open for her to walk to, and the moment she was there, he closed his arms around Dom and held her tight, thinking that day by day might just be the best way to deal with everything.

Dominique raised an eyebrow saying he would change that night. She knew he was just saying that because of what happened but she wouldn’t change one damn thing about it. “I wouldn’t think that I would have gotten pregnant! Anton, I have been pretty good with not having a child.” She said feeling his frustration come into her. Even though she has been tried to remain the calm on sometimes it didn’t happen. Especially with something like this. “Hun, there was no way either of us was going to fall asleep that night. I would have not changed a thing about it. It was perfect.” She told him giving him a smile. Everything about that night was indeed perfect in her eyes. And it was meant to be that she would become pregnant she would live with it. But she should have been smart and taken some sort of pill. Also called the morning after pill. Just in case. Because neither of them did know if she could get pregnant by Anton. Well now they did.
“It’s all right. You just found out before I did that I was pregnant. Usually the female finds out before the male.” Dom said trying to bring some humor into it. That was just the Weasley in her. Yes, this was a very serious subject but she could hide this for a few months if that was what Anton wanted her to do. She wouldn’t show that easily and if she continued with her normal routine and worked out. For sure she could hold off telling people for a while. “You don’t need to see how a father should act. It should just come naturally. I know I won’t be like my mum. And I know for sure you won’t be like your father.” For one you aren’t an alcoholic. But this wasn’t the time to bring up Dom’s dislike for her future father-on-law. When Anton said the words our child, she couldn’t help but grin. The words sounded so natural so beautiful coming out his mouth. How could he not be a bit excited?
“My family will not leave my side. They will understand me. My father might not like you for a while but he will get over it soon enough that I am never leaving your side. And if my family does leave me,” Dom said not even wanting to think about it really. She didn’t think her family would ever do that to her. “Then were they really my family at all if they leave me for something like this? Yes, this is big but they should know this is when I will need them the most.” Dominique said looking up at Anton. If her family wouldn’t help her she would indeed be heartbroken but at least she had Anton. That was always the bright thing to everything now. She has a fiancé who loved her and who would never leave her side.
When he opened up his arms to her, she went straight to him knowing this was the only place she felt truly safe. She curled up right next to his chest feeling more secure than ever. “You will do fine. You are gonna make a great daddy.” Dominique said knowing those were the words he wanted to hear. “And our child will love us and we will make a great family.” Some more words of encouragement. “But we will deal with that more when the time comes and I can’t hide I’m pregnant.” This wasn’t something she wanted him to worry about constantly. It was a big deal. But she didn’t want him worrying about this for the full nine months. They would end up worrying about this child for their whole lifetime once he or she was born.

Anton couldn't help but smile. She had been pretty good at not getting pregnant when they weren't together. As far as he knew, and he knew almost everything about Dom, she didn't have a child. She was clearly pretty careful, and now, when she was with the one she loved, she let her guard down and got pregnant. He felt like it was his fault, he should have read something about vampires and their fertility before just winging it and not using any type of protection. But it was true. That night was the best in his entire life. It was the night that meant everything for him, he was able to get Dom as a wife forever and eternity. It was just perfect. He wouldn't have changed anything either. "I know we both didn't know, but i should have been prepared, researched or something. And now you're pregnant."
He laughed slightly when she made the comment about him finding out first. "Yeah, that's just another thing to remind us of how messed up our lives are. But hey, they're our lives, right?" He gave her a smile and was able to relax a little. "I wouldn't have changed anything that night either. It was amazing." He really did love her, and he was going to be with her through thick and thin. At that moment, Anton was determined to be an awesome father, and an incredible husband. His first child was going to have every opportunity it deserved and it was going to be spoiled rotten. And most important of all, he was going to be there for him, or her.
Anton really did believe that her family would be there for her. She needed them and after everything that had happened, it would be stupid to leave her out in the cold for being pregnant with her fiance. In all reality, it was a small thing on the long list of problems that was wrapped around the couple. Another thing made him relax. Her father was a werewolf, so he wouldn't be able to judge Anton for being a vampire. Unless of course he wanted to be hypocritical. And whatever happened, Dom and Anton would still have each other. That's the only thing that matter anymore.
When Dom said that he would be a great father, all of the stress melted away. She could see that he would be a great father, and if she thought so, he knew so. He was positive that he could do this and be successful. Of course he would need help from his wife, but that's why married people had children, so they had help. Maybe this baby would be the greatest gift that the happy couple could wish for.

Dominique could tell right away that she said the right words to calm down Anton. It was easy after knowing him for so long and just being around him so much to know what words to say. She was indeed in love with him and nothing would ever change that. Sure people said this was the ‘honeymoon stage’ and this wouldn’t last. But she wouldn’t know what to do without him. Dom has even gone back to her old ways with listening to people and giving out good advice. For a while she didn’t care what problems people had and thought nothing could be worse than what she was going through. But by now she knew much better. “I should have done research. But even with the research I did do it said nothing about this.” Dominique didn’t know if it was a good thing or bad thing she was admitting that she looked up vampires in the library. She had read a few books on them. Just knowing what Anton was going through. And from what she could remember. It didn’t mention this.
“Living normally isn’t fun. I love how we are living our lives.” She said smiling up at him and kissing his jaw since when she looked up that was what she saw. That was what Dom got for being so close to him and curled up. She knew Anton really didn’t care where she kissed him. And when she heard him say that night was amazing she couldn’t help but smirk. That night would be forever in her mind and she didn’t care. It was the best night of her life and nothing could ever beat it. Well their honeymoon maybe. Yeah she could think that would be the only night that could beat the engagement. “Best part of the night was waking up next to you in the morning. I hate going to my own common room now.” She said snuggling closer to him if that was possible. After spending a few nights with him and waking up with him next to her she missed that. It made her day seeing him sleeping since she didn’t even think he could sleep!
“I love you Anton LeBlanc.” She said softly not afraid of speaking those words anymore. Dominique loved being able to say those words to him and loved saying them. She never thought she would never say them to anyone. Being a veela she never knew who loved her for her or her beauty. Her hand then went absentmindedly to her stomach. Now knowing that she was carrying a child there a thousand thoughts went through her head. Dom just knew no one who wanted her dead could ever find out about this. At least until she couldn’t hide it anymore. While she kept her hand on her stomach she starred at the fight, which hypnotized Anton before and watched the flames dance around the logs. Really even thought the pregnancy made her think even harder now she would pick being in this place over anywhere in the world.

If life was going to be like this, Anton wouldn’t mind. Dominique truly was his other half and the more he was with her, the more he knew this. She could tell what he was feeling, how to get him to talk, how to calm him down. She was the best thing that had happened to him in years, and he was prepared to spend the rest of eternity with her, if that’s what she wanted. The two had been together long enough to know how things were going to go in their relationship, and they hadn’t even really fought. The only time that they did wasn’t that major, it was just because Anton was stressed about Dom’s safety and she went to tell his father that they were dating. It was hardly an issue, and a minor speed bump in their relationship. Then she let it out that she had done research, but she couldn’t find anything about vampires impregnating women. He couldn’t blame her for that, at least she tried, which was more than he could say for himself. Anton looked her in the eyes, put his finger under her chin lightly and spoke. “Neither of us could have seen this coming, but it happened, and we’re going to make the best of it. After all, what’s a greater gift than a child?” He smiled comfortingly, showing her that he truly meant it. Anton now had confidence that he could be a good father, especially if Dom thought he would be. And besides, wasn’t it all trial and error anyways?
“Yes, this is true. Being normal is vastly overrated,” Anton said grinning. “I wouldn’t change anything about this life. Everything we go through, and have gone through, is only going to make us stronger, our relationship. She planted a kiss on his jaw line, and when she did so, his eyes shut. It was his spot and she most likely knew it. She had so much power over him and she didn’t even know the full extent of it. “I agree that night was great, but knowing you would be next to me when I woke up was the best part.” He smiled his signature grin, the grin that only Dom got to see lately. Whenever he slept in the forest after feeding, he wished that Dom would find him and when he woke up, she would be right next to him. But when he woke up each morning, he was always disappointed, yet relieved. He didn’t want her coming into the Forbidden Forest, too many creatures running around.
“I love you too, Dominique Weasley.” Anton lay down on the couch and pulled Dom on top of him, supporting her so she wouldn’t fall off. Being able to be together their entire life was the only thing keeping Anton from going insane. He knew that everything tough would be over soon and then he could be happy again, with a child, a wife, a house. A family. He never really was the type of guy that thought he would settle down and be married, especially this young, but when he looked at Dom, he knew that this was what he wanted. The moment he had the chance, he would take Jack Riddle down, find Lily Potter and make her regret every little thing that she had done to his fiancé, and most importantly, make his father realize that his son was happy with a Weasley, and that he was no longer afraid of him. Anton looked back into her eyes with his, a deep glowing red, pushed her hair out of her face and kissed her with all the passion he could.

Never before has Dominique felt this way toward anyone. She was in love with him and knew she could never feel this way toward anyone. He had her heart and everyone knew it. Dom knew it especially. It was hard being away from him but when they were together they surely made up for it. She couldn’t believe that really they haven’t been together that long. It wasn’t even a year and Dom felt like she has known him her whole life. He knew everything about her and she was finding something new about him every day. Like even though he didn’t voice his fears like she did earlier she saw how he was scared of becoming like his own father. But Dominique knew that would never happen. She didn’t see his father in Anton and that was probably one reason why she loved him. He was everything that she would wish for and she really did love just how gentle he was with her. The smallest things he did for her made her smile. “A child is a pretty good gift.” With that she did look down at her stomach still in awe that a child was growing inside of her. “Plus it is ours.” That just made it all better. They may be young but she knew that their love would get them through this.
A light laugh escaped her lips and it was the laugh that was real. Not a fake one that she put on while she was around friends or guys trying to get her attention. But a laugh that she used when she was with Anton. He really did know her well. “Good thing I have never been normal.” She said laughing and that was very true. And would she change anything? Yes, but nothing with this relationship. Dom would have told Uncle Harry right away about his daughter and maybe went after Jack sooner when he did trust her. Those things would affect her life too much and of course everything with Anton was just fine. “Yes, I think I should be switched into Slytherin. Or at least we should meet here every night. Or somewhere. Doesn’t matter to me.” She said smiling up at him. Dom couldn’t help but smile noticing that when she kissed his jaw line that his eyes closed right away. It was always good knowing she had that over him. Just in case he ever thought he could get away with something.
Feeling herself being pulled on top of him she couldn’t help but give him a smirk. It was obvious to see where this might be going. Her hair fell in her face since when she put it up it was very loose and most of the strands were already falling out. His smile made her smile and she has noticed that for the most part she only saw this smile. And she was rather happy that she only got to see his smile. Most probably thought it would freak her out because when he did smile she was able to see his canines. But it really didn’t bother her at all now. Same with his eye color. Red and sometimes black. Yet she knew he stayed away from her when he could when his eyes were black. Hopefully one day she wouldn’t have to worry about that anymore. When he brushed the hair out of her face she raised an eyebrow with a teasing look in her eye. Then when she felt his lips on hers, her eyes closed and she kissed back with the same amount of passion. What was the worst that could happen? She couldn’t get pregnant.
