And the world tastes good cause the candyman thinks it should
Every time Dexter made a trip to Hogsmeade, he would make sure he made a stop to Honeydukes for some of his secret addiction- chocolate. Every time Dexter entered into the Honeydukes store, for some reason, he automatically thought of the old muggle movie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The Professor had to endure that movie more times than he could count in his youth, thanks to the movie being his late Mother’s favorite. Before the truth came out that he had magical blood inside him, Dexter never understood why his Mother never tired of the movie. Dexter used to try and escape the room every time that movie came on, and try to escape the songs- but no matter how much he tried to escape the movie, his Mother would always call him back to watch the movie, and without fail, the candyman song would get stuck in his head for days on end. Now that he was older, he understood his Mother’s penchant for the song- it was pure escapism for her. A place to get away from reality- and most likely, a place to relive a little bit of magic- at least, Dexter liked to think so. Either way, each time he walked through the door of Honeydukes, he had the same feeling of escapism. The door softly closed behind him, and Dexter only slightly heard the jingle of the bell that signaled his appearance in the store. The Professor’s worries and the world outside were forgotten instantly when he breathed in the smell of the Honeydukes store. The smell of cocoa, peppermint and sugar hit his nose… sugar. For some reason, his youth was hitting Dexter hard today- along with chocolate, sugar quills used to be another favorite in his younger years. Sighing contently, a half-smile appeared underneath his facial hair as he walked over to the chocolate stall, figuring he’d start there first, and work his way over to the quills later. tag: Harrison Cole Spencer! It was another day at work for Harrison and even if she had her worries about her uncle`s return.She had to be a good girl and go to her work that she loved and well honey-dukes had always made her feel better ,no matter what had happened.She smiled and hummed to the song that was stuck in her head after she had watched a muggle movie with Charlie on one of their little escapes to the muggle world. She was worried about Charlie sometimes ,worried he might actually turn out like their father."Standing right in front of you,Yeah, been standing right in front of you,Standing right in front of you,Standin, Standin " she sang to the song and stacked the new items and fresh chocolates and other such tasty little treats that had her mouth watering a little bit. She finished stacking the shelves and cleaned alittle extra just to make the shop look spotless before she heard that familiar bell ring as a customer stepped inside.Her eyes went alittle big as she saw a man who reminded her of one of the professors she had her last few years at hogwarts ,the last time she had seen the professor ,was last year before she graduated and she had always found him to one of the more handsome of the schools staff.He had been a great professor and was always honest and well he didn't hold back things and she enjoyed that he didn't play games with his students and especially her. He had always been one of her favorite professors.She blushed a bit as she looked at this newcomer who reminded her of him."hello sir .. may i help you today ? and i have to say it is a great day today .. hopefully it will stay that way throughout the day and evening " she said with a warm smile. Dear god .. he looks so much like the professor ..how can that be? ..i never knew guys like that liked sweets? he seems to be more of the coffee type of man to me ..He is handsome and that aura around him , it still has the skill to make me blush .. Okey calm down harrison...think calm , nonsexual thoughts .. ah...naked grandma ..nope doesn't work he still outdoes that image ...oh i don't know what to do now .. .. i hope i don't act like a moron ..in front of him she sighed softly but smiled still.She smiled even though her uncle had returned with some seedy plan ,she wouldn't lose her job for that.She had too much to lose now ,with Lucas to take care of. Dexter was acting like his teenagery self again- since he had been at the chocolate stall in that short moment, he managed to fill his hands with as many chocolate frogs as his hands could handle. Right at that moment, he was juggling holding on to a handful of frogs, and at the same time, stuffing one into his mouth. The taste of chocolate hit the inside of his mouth, and his senses, sending Dexter giddy with happiness- which was a rare emotion in his case. Continuing too munch down on the frog in his mouth, he was in the process of tearing open another frog at the same time he munched, when he heard someone asking if he needed help and addressing him as sir. Turning around with his hands full of frogs, Dexter grinned at her- another occurrence that was a phenomenon in his normal range of emotions- which were mainly grumpy and paranoid. The woman also said that it was a great day, and Dexter’s grin grew wider- he had to agree. Chocolate made any day a good day. “Sure is a good day.” Dexter replied, as he munched down on another frog. The Professor knew that cards came with the frogs, but he was never interested in them- he preferred the chocolate more. He turned back to the stall once more, to grab some more frogs, before turning back to face the woman again, holding out his hands to show her, as he did so. “If you don’t mind, it’d be great if you could get a basket for me.” Dexter told her, in reply to her asking if he needed help, and he sure did need some help- because at that moment, a frog slipped out of his hands. What if the sky were alone , then no stars there would be ..what if you were on your own ?Dear god .. he is a handsome one ..even if he is stuffing his mouth full it seems..but it is very adorable ..yeah .. he kinda looks alittle like a cute chipmunk or something ..okey ..lets help him..She smiled and watched with interest a bit as he had his hands full with chocolate frogs.She heard that husky rough voice and bit her bottom-lip a bit rough to keep any noise inside. "ah ..a basket sure thing sir .." she smiled and wondered where the hell she had put those. She watched as he ate more of those sweet frogs ,one slipped out his hands and she was fast to grab it."umm.. you dropped this one ..or more like it escaped .. " she smiled and handed it to him before going behind the counter and finding one of the baskets."we usually don't get customer that buy this much in one set .. without the exception of holidays ..it seems then they all hamster up on the candy .. hoarding it like its gold " she joked softly and blushed as she thought she had just made herself look like an idiot in front this man who still very much reminded her of an old professor she had in hogwarts. "we got some new items if you are interested ?"she asked with a kind smile and looked at him. Okey is it wrong of me to find him cute and very adorable? he is such a cute man when he is stuffing down all that chocolate ..i hope he doesn't get hyper like me on a sugarbuzz..I bet he is a married man with children or something ? hmm...i wonder what he looked like when he was young? i bet he was handsome and popular amongst the girls ..probably ..He does have a great smile ..okey now I'm sounding like i have a crush on him .. no Harrison ..no more crushes ,cause they only crush me ..nothing good ever comes from it.."so sir .. i haven't seen you around here before? you new to hogsmeade? " she asked softly and looked at him as he seemed to be content with all the chocolate.Of course how could anyone not enjoy chocolate ,it always made things better.. Tags : Dexter Johns
