Sleepless nights (Ryden)

The owlery was quiet and there seemed to be no one around but Reagan didn't pay all that much attention.It was another one of those sleepless nights that was filled with nightmares of her past, mostly her father and his friends.She walked to the window and looked out at the sky and licked her lips.oh what a beautiful sky ..i love the stars and how they shine so brightly ..damn it .. why cant i bury my memories ? why cant i escape this family?.She sighed softly and bit her bottom-lip a bit and sighed heavily."ah man what a night" she mumbled a bit and yawned softly as she kept her eyes on the sky.


I wonder if ill ever get caught sneaking around at night...probably not .. wow i didn't know i was so sneaky..guess i got mad skills in sneakiness.God i could so go for a big burger ,like the muggles eat with lots of cheddar and spices.okey enough about thinking of the food.gotta keep a clear mind to relax and meditate those feelings away.She squinted her eyes at the forest , truly in there were horrors and what not.She was not gonna go in there free willing ,that was for sure.She nibbled on her bottom-lip and tried to ignore those paranoid feelings of someone watching her as she was in the owlery that was filled with freaking owls.She didn't like those bastards but they were needed."ah .. man i could use a drink right about now.. ooh a nice drink with tropical flavors.. god muggles know how to make drinks.." she sighed softly and bit her bottom-lip.
She looked up at the roof and then at the floor."ah god ..listen to me ...freaking talking to myself "

Ryden couldn`t sleep this night. It was hard to sleep when you were wide awake. He sighed and looked up into the roof and wondered what to do,he shifted positions to see if it helped,or if he just closed his eyes and counted sheeps. But no that wouldn`t even work. Ryden got out of the bed and decided to get dressed and sneak out and walk around a little to see if that would help him to get more tired. He ended up walking to the owlery to look at the owles. He bit his bottom lip when he entered the room. looking at the owles sitting there,sleeping. they are so lucky that is able to sleep,at least some of them. he tought to himself. He also heard other noises from this room,he got curious.

As he walked further into the room he could see a person in here as well,he was not alone with the owles. It was a blonde girl,a pretty one too. Ryden smiled some as she was talking to herself. "what do you need a drink for?" he asked her and walked closer up to her. He didn`t know if he was welcomed here even as she was sitting alone here. "you can`t sleep either?" he asked her softly and looked at her when he leaned against the wall. i hope she doesn`t mind me being up here as well..i don`t want to intrude either on her. Maybe i can try and charm her with a smile he thought and smiled to her to see if that would work to stay up here. He was now curious on what she was gonna say. She seemed like a nice person after all.

This is a night for snus and thoughts..oh crap I'm hooked on it but yet i feel no need to quit.ah damn it i hate it when i cant sleep or when those memories pop up again.god i want to drink it all away for a moment...to escape for a moment.To feel that freedom for once. she looked at the sky more, her eyes focused on them as she heard footsteps come closer but right now she didn't care that much.She heard a male voice ask her why she needed a drink."To escape .. to be free for a moment" she said softly and looked at the person,it was a hufflepuff boy about her own age."nope cant sleep tonight.. couldn't you do that either? must be contagious huh?" she said with a smile and looked at the boy.he was handsome and definitely easy on the eyes.

She smiled a bit more and looked at the sky again."ah .. I'm Reagan... your name is? you should be glad you didn't bump into a slytherin.. "she said with a smile and looked at him.He was pretty sweet looking."you don't drink? you use snus? "she asked knowing it would probably be a no for an answer.She bit on her bottom-lip again and tucked her blonde hair behind her ears.she wasn't too good with these situations,to talk with new people but she was trying as good as she could.Man i suck at this don't i? so freaking awkward when i try to be social with someone.. god damn it ..crap why is this so hard ? why cant i be little miss social ? is it cause of the way i grew up or maybe its because i just don't have social skills at all but that can be linked to my upbringing.

Ryden looked at her as she said she couldn`t sleep either. He smiled a bit as he folded his arms over his chest. "nope..can`t sleep..i`m not tired tonight" he said and looked at her. She was a pretty girl and she had a great smile as well. "Hi Reagan...i`m Ryden" he said and smiled some more. ahh the slytherins..i`m not a big fan of those so yeah i agree with her,glad i didn`t bump into one of those tonight he thought and looked at her. " yeah..me too..not a huge slytherin fan over here" Ryden said and sighed softly. Ryden smiled softly and shook his head.." no..i don`t drink and i don`t snus.." he said a little insecure,he didn`t even know what that was. wonder what snus is...i have never heard about that before.. "ahh what is snus anyways..i have no idea what that is" he said and looked at her and then at the owles fast. Ryden wasn`t very good at communicating with pretty girls..they always somehow seemed to make him a little nervous and shy.

Ryden licked his lips fast and cleared his throat alittle as well. "i just wish i could get some sleep tonight but it`s so hard..it`s like im filled up with a lot of sugar all the time.." he said and smiled to her. she is very pretty..i feel like an idiot standing here and talking to something as pretty like her. what can i say to not seem like a silly boy to her... "you have a very nice smile" he said and smiled to her..blushing some too. great job Ryden..blushing is not the way to do it today!

She smiled and gave a soft laugh as he seemed to be just as nervous as she was."ah .. these sleepless nights ..huh " she smirked and licked her bottom-lip a bit."ah ..Nice to meet you Ryden .. " she smiled as she was right in her assumption."Ah Snus ..its this Swedish thing ,, its kinda like scruff ... but its in a bag and you stick it up under your lip and it gives you nicotin..which is what i need right now..what you want to try ? but i warn you , you could get hooked on them" she smiled and looked into his soft brown eyes and smiled.


Oh god .. could you be more of a idiot ,talking to cute guys it difficult and you just make it harder on yourself don't you Reagan.. ah this is just great .. you're making an idiot of yourself..well i don't get that from my father ... mister social and mother is Mrs socialite ..on top of the world and probably tormenting it as well.. right now i wish i could have some social skills at least..but no what do i get but nightmares and pain from being raised by those bastards ..oh yes to me they are nothing more than evil bastards ..


"ah eaten a lot of sugar lately? guess you should cut down on caffeine? or sodas? sweets perhaps .. i could never cut down on sweets.. i have a huge sweet-tooth ..damn it its so good to taste a sweet piece of candy or some chocolate .. its like a drug " she smiled a bit more and played with her hair nervously and thought to herself that she probably looked like a bimbo doing that.She wondered what he was thinking of? was he thinking of her in some way? but no he couldn't possible be doing that or could he?

Ryden looked at the purple round box she was holding in her hand. It said Mocca on it. He looked up at her as well and smiled. She was offering him to try it.." Hmmm if i want to try it..guess i can try one " he said and smiled to her and waited for her to hand over that snus. " So it`s from Sweden..interesting.." Ryden said and bit his bottomlip softly and walked closer to her. He took a seat right next to her,she smelled really good..kind of like strawberries or something kind of fruity scent. God she smells good..like the sweetest strawberries..he thought and smiled to her.

He looked at her as she asked if he`s been eating alot of sugar lately.."mm you can say that..it is really hard to stay away from sweets and other good stuff with sugar in it..so yeah..im a sweet tooth as well" he said and scratched his head a little. "Yepp choclate is a huge favourite of mine too..i can`t get enough of that choclate the muggles have..the japp with hazelnut in it..it`s really good.." he said and licked his lips as he got the taste of the choclate on his tongue. Ryden looked at her and liked how she played with her hair..it was really adorable. He had to smile of that.

She is so cute and adorable. She smells good and looks good too..i really like her smile as well and she have kind eyes too..i wonder what it feels like to be kissed by her lips..ahh no..can`t think like that right now..she would never like a guy like me..would she? Ryden looked at Reagan some more and smiled a little more as well.." so..tell me more about yourself..since we`re talking and got nothing else to do" he said and looked into her eyes.

Reagan smiled a bit brightly and looked into his eyes.He seemed so sweet and friendly but then again he was a hufflepuff.He accepted her offer to try a snus and smiled a bit more.He was so cute and sweet but she knew that a guy like that couldn't possible be interested in a girl like her."yeah its Swedish .. " she smiled and looked at him."ah yeah i have a major sweettooth..its just cant be helped "she smiled brightly and he took a seat next to her.he smelled nice and pretty safe in her thought.

Ah this is so nice and damn he is so nice.i wish i could get a guy like that but i guess its never going to happen.at least not yet that is .He probably has a girlfriend..Some sweet girl who cherishes him ..ah okey Reagan you need to stop thinking like this..its not going to help anyone and especially not you.he is a sweet guy but with you're parents it would never work out..but i would want to try that She smiled a bit more at him and wondered what to tell him.

"well i was born in Sweden and grew up there but we moved here when i was eleven and was accepted to hogwarts.I like to relax and take walks , mostly at night or evenings.I like candy and juice , i love soda too"She smiled a bit more brightly and licked my lips a bit."So what do you like to do ? and where are you from ?" she smiled a bit more brightly and nibbled on her bottom-lip a bit.She looked into his eyes a bit and blushed softly as she liked spending time with him and get to know him.

Ryden smiled to her. He grabbed the little bag and put it under his lip like she told him to do.." like this?" he asked her and smiled some..it was hard to smile with it..and it gave a minty taste from it. He tried to keep the little bag in place under his lip. "mmm it`s not that bad at all" Ryden said and smiled softly to her. " What is your favourite candy then..sweet tooth?" he asked her and chuckled a little too. Reagan started to talk about herself,and he liked listening to her talk.


"So you`re a Swedish product as well..hmmm that`s cool..i have never met anyone from scandinavia before" he said and smiled to her. "i like walking in the dark too sometimes..it`s like no one can see me all the time and things looks more prettier then" he said and looked at her and into her eyes. She was such a sweet tooth..talking about the sweet stuff she likes. " I like soda too..mmm i like the fanta soda.." he said and smiled alittle more and licked his lips. she is so sweet and nice to talk to,she is one of the nicest i have talked to in a long time Ryden thought and looked at her.


He sighed softly when she asked about him. " what i like to do..like i said..walking in the dark..and hang out with friends,get to know new people and watch movies sometimes.." he said and smiled. " Im borned in Boston in America..but my father took me with him and moved to England when i was two..to London.." he said softly and looked into her eyes and down at the floor.." and like you..when i turned eleven..i moved here..and i`m very happy for that.." he said ad smiled. She had the most gorgeous smile he`d ever seen on a girl before.

She smiled and looked around a bit more and sighed softly and licked her lips a bit and looked over at ryden as he put the snus bag under his lips "yeah like that .. its might sting a bit in the beginning but you'll get used to it pretty fast." she smiled yet again and felt happy and calm for once , her mind wasn't going to those dark memories either and she felt like this boy was the reason for it.She bit her bottom-lip a bit and licked her lips a bit more as well."ah ..this is so good ..i love the way it relaxes me " she said softly and looked at him.He reminds her of a puppy with those soft warm puppy eyes of his."ah yeah ..i am .. its okey but it gets pretty cold and the people are a bit strange.."

I wonder if he would like me? should i try and make a move? i wonder ..he is so handsome and sexy.. he is kinda athletic ,, does he play quidditch? hmm i don't know but im dying to find out .. oh listen to me rant in my head. i just want someone to hold me ,, tell me i`ll be okay but i never believe i will because of mom and dad.. .She tucked her hair away and leaned in a bit ."ah yeah .. i like walking in the dark .. its a cover and keeps you safe ..sometimes .."she said softly and thought of how things would end up, she had a nightmarish upbringing but what the future had in mind for her was still unsure.She listened to him as he spoke now about what he likes and where he came from."ah .. that is cool .. so you're family is still in America then?"

Ryden started to feel the stingy feeling from under his lip from the snus he put under the lip. It felt pretty nice and it kind of made him relaxed as well from it. He looked over at reagan and smiled some more to her. "I feel pretty relaxed as well now..i think im gonna like this snus thingy of yours" he said and nudged her softly in the arm. He looked at her and liked looking at her,not like in a perverted way,just admiring her beautiful looks. Ryden smiled and he looked around to look at the owles sitting above their heads and to the sides in the dark. Some of them were awake as well and looked back at him.

She started to talk a little about sweden as well. "Hmm i kind of wanna go there sometimes..in fact...i wanna go everywhere i can before i grow old and stuff..to see the rest of the world would be great.." he said and looked at her..just to talk about something so it wouldn`t appear any awkward silence between them. " If you could go anywhere you wanted to right now..where would that be?" he asked her and smiled a little as well.

Ryden looked at her when she asked about his family. He sighed softly. " No..i mean..i moved to London with my father when i was two..and i lived there every since.. " he said and looked into her eyes. " But..my mom is still in America..or i think so..i`m not sure..i haven`t really spoken to her in many years because of my father.." Ryden said and felt alittle sad..he missed his mother a lot..he could hardly remember what she looked like,since he was so young when his father brought him to London. i hope she doesn`t think im sad or something..because i`m not..or maybe i still am..i miss my mother a lot and wish i could see her again. But i shouldn`t think about that right now..i should just get to know reagan better right now..she`s a great girl..sweet and beautiful.. Ryden thought to himself.

"I'm glad you like it . i got hooked on it...so I'm warning you its addictive and don't blame me if you get hooked on them "she smiled and kissed his cheek in a friendly manner and sighed softly and looked out and up at the starry sky and loved the view of the sky.It was truly beautiful and she only hoped that to someone, she might be that beautiful to someone.He was really nice but she would never stand a chance with him , who would want an abused little girl who played the part of her fathers pet.

She sighed softly and looked into his warm brown puppy eyes before pulling away a bit ,what was she thinking of ,she didn't like the temptation of his lips and how she felt compelled to kiss them but she just had to try and ignore it.She couldn't allow herself to fall for someone , only to have her heart broken into small pieces.She wasn't sure if she could mend herself if that ever happened.She bit on her bottom-lip and tried to think of a conversation to keep her distracted from this desire of hers.She listened to him talk and kept in her mind that she didn't need to think of things like this , like love and cuddly feelings , that it would only hurt her more and bring her down more than her father could.

"oh id like to travel to America too ... sounds like you had an interesting upbringing..well ah .. i didn't have much of an upbringing in my eyes at least." she said softly and looked into his eyes and sighed softly and bit her bottom-lip a bit more.

Ryden smiled to her." hmm i`m gonna be just fine besides it would be no one else than myself to blame if i ever get hooked on it.." he said and smiled to her. It was nice to have the snus under the lip. He smiled some at her too. He blushed a bit when she kissed him on the cheeks. " what was that for ?" he asked her and smiled softly. Ryden looked at her and hoped that she was okey and didn`t feel sad or anything. " do you see anything pretty up there in the sky ?" he asked her and smiled. Biting his bottom lip and looking at her.


It was a silent and quiet night tonight. When they didn`t talk or say anything to eachother you could really hear the stuff going on outside as well. Ryden looked at the owls and then back at Reagan. " So you wanna be my new friend then ?" he asked her and smiled to her. The snus started to make more taste than ever. "mmm it`s running now.." he said and removed the little bag with his fingers and looked around for a place to throw it. He sighed and threw it out the window and hoped no one would find it and blame him for it.

"yeah well traveling is good and i want to see a lot of more places before i am gonna settle down as a married man with kids and stuff.." he said and smiled to her.

"thats good ..i don't want to be blamed for it and have you're parents at me for that .. you said you're last name was masters ? ..your father isn't Charles masters ? " she asked with a bit of nerves and hoped he wasn't the child of that awful man who her father often spent time with and the two would drink and hurt someone and most often that someone was her."and i kissed you're cheek because i wanted too but I'm sorry if it bothered you ..ah yeah the stars is beautiful" her words were soft spoken as she looked into his eyes and bit on her bottom-lip a bit more and waited for him to answer her question.


"ah sure .. i can be you're friend .. i need friends don't we all " she said softly and looked out the window and smiled a bit lazily and leaned on the windowsill.she wondered what went through his head right now but she wouldn't ask and pry like that.She knew from experience that one shouldn't be curious and ask personal things.she had been beat too many times to ever forget that lesson , she knew too just leave things be.It was always safer to do that, than to pry and ask and get punished for it in return.

She listened to him talk about how he wanted to travel and see the world before he settled down."ah yeah i want to explore the world as well , to know i have lived freely and seen whatever i want to see but part of me fears i wont be allowed to do that..i get the feeling that my fathers plans for me will be in the way for that. but its okey ..i can handle it " she said softly and sighed before looking at the damn owls.she hated them as they never brought her good news these days ,just her father telling her to behave and keep her mouth shut if she wanted to keep going to hogwarts and have some freedom.

Ryden looked at her as she asked if his father was charles masters, he took a deep breathe and nodded to her and looked down into the ground. " yeah that is my father and he always will be " he said and looked at her and bit his bottom lip a little. Ryden wasn`t exactley proud of being his son,and neither was ryden`s brother charlie about it either. " you seem like you know my father..do you ?" he asked reagan and looked into her eyes. A lot of people feared charles as they knew who he was and what he used to do and still does to people.

"mhm it`s important to have friends you can trust and feel happy with and that they don`t stab you in the back and turns cold on you.." he said and looked at her and gave her a tiny smile and looked out the window and some more onto the stars as they where like little fireflies on the sky..it was gorgeous to look at and the moon made it look even more magical tonight. Ryden was still not tired..."besides the kiss on the cheek didn`t bother me..i kind of liked it " he said and smiled more brightly to reagan. She was such a nice girl and he liked hanging out with her like this.

He looked at her and listened to her as she spoke up too. " why would your dad keep you away from living your own way..he can`t be that bad can he?" he asked her and didn`t want her to feel like she could never live her life and see things just like he wants to. " We live to see the world and all the places..it`s our job to go and visit those places and meet new people so we don`t get stuck like that..like we`re chained up and will never feel the freedom again.." ryden said and looked at her. He knew his father was having a tight rope around his neck..just so he could control ryden and charlie as well,but ryden wouldn`t let his father take over his life,he rather die before that happens.

"i do know your father ,even if i wish i didn't .. he is a friend of my father .. " She sighed heavily and looked into his eyes and wondered what was going on inside his head.She wanted so badly to believe in fairytale endings ,where the princess gets the prince and the two lived happily ever after , but she was pretty sure that shed be too shy to reach for that.She just hoped that her father one day would stop abusing her .


"yeah friends ..its good to have those but then again , you might always find yourself wondering and worrying whether they will betray you in the end? its risky giving you're heart like that " she said softly before giving him another gentle kiss on his cheek as she felt safe to do so.She needed to feel some kind of closeness that didn't hurt her.the view was beautiful and somehow it felt right to be here with him.His bright smile ,lead her to believe that it would be alright for her to kiss his soft lips.



She leaned in and kissed him under this wonderful view and her hands sought out his and held them there, entwined as she kept the kiss going for a few more moments."ah ..I'm sorry but i don't regret doing that "she said softly with a shy blush on her cheeks.she listened to his question on why his father wouldn't let her live her own life and sighed again."he is in control , he holds the money and everything ..if i disobey he punishes me ..in any way he sees fit.." she looked into his eyes "why do you think he gets along so well ,with you're father " her words were soft and frightened at the very mention of both their fathers."if i could be free then i would love too . i would roam the world in search of kind of things ,love ,passion and happiness"
