The morning had been a blur for Cysi. She had been able to wake up on time and actually get to breakfast. The problem was that despite being up, it seemed her brain had been left behind in bed. Most of the morning she had sat through her classes spaced out completely not realizing what was going on around her. One good thing the girl had done was sit in the back and avoided getting called on. It seemed that despite her lack of a functioning brain, she was still able to make smart decisions. Unfortunately, as a result her notes were full of doodles and various scribbles instead of actual notes. She would have to bug one of her friends for them later. It was hard to really know why she was spaced out this morning but that didn’t seem to bother the Gryffindor much.
After her last morning class, Cysi headed down to the Great Hall for some lunch. Humming to herself, she headed to the Gryffindor table, taking a seat on the wooden bench. Tucking her hair behind her ears, she shifted bringing her legs up so she was sitting Indian style on the bench. Grabbing a piece of bread, she tore it into pieces and started eating. Usually she didn’t eat much for lunch but today the small Irish girl was finding that she as hungry. It could just have been the lack of focus that was taking its toll on her. Ripping off another piece, she spread some jam on it before popping the piece in her mouth. Looking around the great hall she started to wonder if anyone she knew was going to show up.

Darius walked into the hall escorted by a seventh year Slytherin. He just had a private sorting hat ceremony. He came in as a sixth year, he had enough expierence and was old enough to be one. He walked to the front following the older green wearing slimeball. At the front a few teachers stood and was shown which were which he caught the eye of Cysilia as he sat at the end of the slytherin table alone.

Cysi was now on her second piece of bread as she looked around the room. If she had been eating untoasted bread, the crust would have been thrown to the side. Usually she would tear it off and not eat the crust. There was just something about it that the girl didn’t like but it seemed to be the best thing when she ate it as toast. It was weird but there was a lot about the girl that was odd to begin with. After all who walked around constantly content and spotting a smile? That and she was one of the few people that actually liked jumping her friends when she was greeting them. For her it felt like a great way to do so and if the person was having a bad day, the simple act itself would get them to smile. It was a guarantee because she had tried it before. Spreading some more jam on the last piece of bread in her hand, she quickly ate it before licking her fingers clean.
Just as she was about to pick another piece of toast when she noticed someone walked into the Great Hall. What was weird was she had never seen him. This made her wonder what year the guy was but that was all really. Her attention was focused on other things. Instead, she turned her focus on the teachers table wondering if they actually came to lunch for appearance sake or not. Leaning her head on her hand, she took to pondering that thought instead. It seemed this lunch time was going to be extremely boring.
