Good day I am proffessor Lestrange. You will call me as such. I am this years defense against the dark arts teacher. I have my own way of going about things, so this class will not be like any of your other class's. We will not be using books in the classroom, but if it will help you to studay you can pick up a copy of Defending against the darkness for your appropriate year. I believe in hands on training not paper work. This however does not mean that you will not be getting homework. At the beggining of every class you will be tested on what you were to be practicing for homework, and these tests will give you your homework grades. All tests will be practical as will your final exam. All ages are welcome sixth years must have gotten an exceeds expectations or higher on their O.W.L.S., and seventh years must have gotten exceeds expectaions of higher on their N.E.W.T.S. During our first class we will discuss what it is that you would like to learn, and what you will have to learn. I hope to see you all in my class, and I hope that you will all get what you are looking for out of it.
