Anton walked through the forbidden forest. He had spent the entire night before wandering, trying to find something to feed off of. The rest of it was spent sleeping, or rather attempting to. He had too much on his mind, and he just wanted to unload on someone to make it all go away. His family was falling apart around him. He hated his father even more than before after he had told Dom, Anton's fiance, to get away from his son. He hadn't talked to his mother since term started and the same with his brother. Kelsey was a little better, he had actually just "ate" breakfast with her the other day in the great hall. They seemed to be repairing anything that stood in the way of their friendship being rebuilt. Family was something that Anton more than anything, but at this point, it seemed like an unobtainable thing.
Anton emerged from the forest, wearing only a sweatshirt, despite the cold. The snow had melted relatively quickly and only small patches remained on random spots on the ground. He took each step towards the water, seeing that it too had defrosted. It's gentle waves rubbed against the shore and the familiar lapping sounds of it could be heard from a distance. The sun was behind the clouds, which meant freedom for Anton. If the sun decided to make an appearance, he might have to hide out in the forest for even longer. Being exposed to even more danger. Anton had gotten used to not breathing, so his chest no longer rose with each intake of air. If he were in the presence of people, he could easily continue the illusion of regular breathing, but for now, it would look like he was suffocating himself.
His thoughts turned to dom, his fiance. He had just seen her yesterday, but it seemed like forever since that time. They were now able to take themselves to the next level, and they had consummated their marriage a bit early. Despite the fact that they had done that, anton felt relieved. He knew now how far he could go without putting Dom in danger. Even though she was by just being with him. This also worked vice versa. He knew about what she was going through, with jack riddle and lily potter. The fact that almost every death eater was after her. Anton thought about how his family would react, well everyone but his father, when they found out he was engaged, especially at seventeen years old. Maybe kelsey was smart running off and getting married, not telling anyone until she got back. That was still a possibility...
