"Welcome, I am Professor Mushi. I teach Arithmancy for Hogwarts. Arithmancy is the wizarding equivalent to Arithmetic in the Muggle world. It deals with formulas and calculation techniques that only work with magic. To join the class, please have a copy of Numerology and Grammatica with you at all times during the class.

"Furthermore, third years and up are allowed to join. O.W.L and N.E.W.T students must have gotten at least an Acceptable on their exams. If you didn't, or didn't take the class to be able to get that, drop by if you want to take it and we'll discuss it."
