She stood quite alone at the entrance, with her arms folded, and with a really pissed look on her face. Her trunk sat at her feet, and she was pacing around it, glancing so many times ahead, that she was twitching. Alyson was waiting for someone. Someone that she held very dear to her, but had a lot of explaining to do. Kelsey LeBlanc had gotten married, and without telling Alyson. It was obvious that Alyson went quite mental when she heard. She was more or less, just upset that 1. She wasn't invited, and 2. That she didn't get to arrange a fabuolous event for her best friend! Needless to say, Alyson was going to get what she wanted, and she'd give it everything she had.
Patience. That's what Alyson needed. But she was getting far too irritated, as the time trickled by and there was no sign of her red-headed companion. With a loud, long sigh, Alyson kicked her trunk and sat down on it, with her head in her hands. Kelsey had agreed to come. But maybe she would stand Alyson up. Maybe she knew what was waiting for her. Well, Alyson would quite literally hunt her down. She was furious. It was all that went through her mind when she found out. Kelsey Potter. It was of course, lovely, and Alyson was overjoyed for her friend. But she'd gotten hitched without Alyson making a party for her. How could she? Kelsey knew how much weddings meant to Alyson. Did Kelsey not love her?
One Mrs. Potter was going to get it. [/blockquote]

Kelsey was tired. Scratch that, exhausted. She hadn't had time to relax in forever. It seemed that everywhere she went there was someone following her. She never had alone time anymore. Her drama plate was getting so full. Kelsey and her father could barely have a civilized conversation anymore. He was so pissed about her marriage to James. All the stress in her life was effecting her sleep. She hadn't slept through the whole night in weeks. As always, Kelsey was a mess. A complete and utter train wreck.
Yet again, she was running late. Her dear wicked mother had decided to tell her how much of a disappointment she was to the family yet again. Kelsey really did hate her mother with a passion. She would be so glad when the summer came along and she could move in with her husband. News of her marriage had spread like wild fire. She had no clue who told people but someone did. Kelsey rushed through the house, gathering the remaining items for her trunk and shut it. Alyson was waiting for her and she knew that she would not be pleased if Kelsey was late.
Arriving at the train station, Kelsey dodged into the platform and looked around for her friend. Her eyes landed upon her sitting on her trunk, not looking to pleased. There were three reasons why she would be pissed. One, she was mad because Kelsey was late. Two, she had heard about the wedding. And three, a combination of the two. Kelsey was betting that it was three. She hadn't found the time to tell Alyson. She had wanted to keep the marriage a secret but someone told everyone before she could.
"Hey Aly! So sorry I am late. My mother decided to give me the you're a disappointment speech again," Kelsey said in a happy cheery voice. She hoped Alyson was not mad at her. She hated it when anyone was mad at her.

Upon hearing footsteps, Alyson jerked her head to one side. She saw, from he corner of her eye, a rushing girl. Her red hair was unkept. Kelsey was coming. But Alyson looked as if she wasn't aware of her friends presence. She crossed her legs and sighed, staring down at the small crack in the marble ground. Alyson kicked a sweet wrapper aside, and watched as it got caught in the small breeze. Her loose curls fell down her back, and out her face. A mar was still on her cheek from where she'd been irresponsible, and was stupid enough to sit at a pumpkin patch infested with garden gnomes. Alyson winced at the memory. She was bitten, but was aided by a god of beauty. She reminded herself of how she was almost thankful that she'd been bitten.
And as Alyson's thoughts wandered to her own love story, someone else's pushed hers aside. Kelsey stood by Alyson.
"Hey Aly! So sorry I am late. My mother decided to give me the you're a disappointment speech again,"
Aly. that nickname always softened her up, but now it was powerless against her hard, bitter shell. She sat up straight and looked up at kelsey, with a blank face before raising to her feet. Kelsey was taller than Alyson, but it didn't really matter with Alyson's accusing stare. She made the seconds stretch longer. She wanted Kelsey to wonder. And then, Alyson began to act. She put on a face of disappointment and hurt. She looked more sad than angry, but she wanted Kelsey to feel her pain, so she could get her way. "Don't you love me, Kels?" She asked, striking back with the nickname Alyson had branded onto Kelsey.
"Did you not know how I would feel?" Alyson asked, throwing another accusing question at Kelsey. Alyson looked like a puppy who had just been told off. Like she was about to cry. She took Kelsey's hands and brought her closer to her, looking as if she was about to beg. [/blockquote]

From the moment she saw the look of disappointment at Alyson's face she knew what was wrong. Alyson knew about the marriage. Kelsey knew how she was feeling. Kelsey and Alyson shared everything together. Whether it be about their first kiss, their first date, or their first period, they told it all. Nothing was too shy for these two. However, Kelsey not only did not take Alyson to her own wedding but she did not even tell her about it. Kelsey would be hurt to if Alyson did not tell her that. However, she would have to make Alyson see that it was not her choice not to tell her right away.
"You know. Aly look you have to understand, I wanted to tell you I really did! But we kept it a secret at first because we didn't want my father to find out. Then I had to tell him because he had seem me and James go into the room of requirements the night before to.. well you know. Then word got out and before I knew it everyone knew! I am so sorry!" Kelsey said with apologetic eyes as she held Alyson's hand. She felt horrid for not telling her best friend that she got married. Hopefully Alyson would understand.
"Please, please don't be mad at me! I need you more than anything right now. My father won't even talk to me because I got married. My mother is like a monster. Everyone thinks I made a huge mistake by getting married so young! I just really need my best friend," Kelsey said, her eyes looking into Alyson's. Alyson and James were about the only real family she had. Sure there was her brothers but she hardly talked to them. Her father and mother were most likely thinking of disowning her at this moment. She would die if her best friend was mad at her.

Alyson knew instantly that Kelsey was aware of her wrong-doing. Alyson could read kelsey like an open book, with big print! But it was vice versa. Kelsey could see if Alyson was suffering in silence, or plastering on a fake smile. Only Kelsey could see the real Alyson. But now, the two had been somewhat distant. They had owled eachother constantly, but it was never the same as meeting face to face. But although Alyson was overjoyed for Kelsey, she felt almost alone. Kelsey had found her love. And now, she'd be dedicating her heart and soul to that lucky James Potter. Three's a crowd. And one is always left out.
But this had nothing to do with Alyson's life. Well, partly it had to do with her small happiness. And as much as Alyson wanted to milk this, as soon as she saw Kelsey beg, Alyson's hard shell melted away, and once again, she was exposing her true colors. Weak, pathetic and emotional.
You know. Aly look you have to understand, I wanted to tell you I really did! But we kept it a secret at first because we didn't want my father to find out. Then I had to tell him because he had seem me and James go into the room of requirements the night before to.. well you know. Then word got out and before I knew it everyone knew! I am so sorry!"
Alyson sighed looked away. Kelsey had the ability to shatter you with one stare. And Alyson forced herself to look back at Kelsey. Her own eyes were staring, wide-eyed into Kelsey's face. This was no bluff. Kelsey was telling the truth, and she was hopeless at lying. "But you couldn't have even told me? Me, Kelsey."
As Kelsey spoke, it seemed to pierce Alyson with shock and hate for Kelsey's family. Alyson had never really liked any of the LeBlanc's, and Kelsey was no LeBlanc. Kelsey was Kelsey, but Kelsey Potter. Alyson didn't even like Kelsey's father, who was the headteacher of Hogwarts. The man seemed to have decided he hated Alyson eveer since Kelsey introduced her to the headmaster. And the feeling had remained mutual.
"..okay, look. I'm sorry for attacking you with that. I didn't know things were this bad ... but, I mean, you know how much I love weddings." Alyson pouted, looking down at her shoes. "I'll forgive you ... if," she paused, looking up to catch Kelsey's reaction, "...you let me re-create the wedding you've always wanted!" And with that, Alyson exploded with utter excitement. She squeezed Kelsey's hand a little tightly, and Alyson hurt herself when her ring pinched at her skin.

Kelsey felt like the worst friend one planet at this moment. She she should have told Alyson right away, she knew that. What kind of friend keeps a huge secret like getting married from their best friend? There was no excuse for what Kelsey did. It was an abomination on her part. As she stood there looking at Alyson's hurt expression, Kelsey could have crawled in a hole and died. She felt so awful.
"I know I know! I should have told you! I am horrible! Strike me down now! Rip out my eyeballs! I don't deserve to live!" Kelsey said dramatically, smiling and letting out a laugh as she did so. She was trying to use humor to lighten up the tension and anger radiating off of Alyson. Hopefully Alyson would forgive her. I mean come on, its Kelsey! Without Alyson, she was nothing!
"You want to throw me a wedding?" Kelsey asked in disbelief. She never imagined herself having a real wedding before. Well, yes she did but after the one she just had she didn't think it was possible for her to have her dream wedding. Kelsey didn't know what to say. She was virtually speechless. Did she want to have another wedding? It would make a lot of people happy. After all, she knew her father had wanted to be there. But did she want all of the attention on her?
"You would do all the planning? Like everything that needed to be done for the wedding? All the inviting, the accommodations, everything? All I would have to do is show up in a white dress?" Kelsey asked, wanting to know if she would have to do any of the work. Kelsey did want to have a wedding, she just didn't want to do all the work. She just wanted to show up on the day and say I do, again.

The hardest part was basically over. Kelsey had obviously learned her lesson; Tell Alyson before marrying someone. And their frienship was at peace. Again. There were occasions when Alyson and Kelsey would fight about something, and the only serious time was that of the school dance. What a night. Alyson can't recall it ever ending. But it was over, and in the past. Hopefully. Alyson had hardly spoken to Kelsey's new husband since that memorable night. But of glares could have killed, Alyson would have murdered James many, many times. And obviously, they both loved Kelsey, so their differences were forgotten of, and they managed to shake away their problems. Almost.
"I know I know! I should have told you! I am horrible! Strike me down now! Rip out my eyeballs! I don't deserve to live!"
With a raised eyebrow, Alyson smirked ever so slightly at Kelsey, "I wouldn't have gone quite that extreme, Kels." And her smirk formed into a big broad grin. Alyson loved Kelsey's humor. It was the way they became friends in the first place. Their way to laugh at anything is how they got by in their lives. They both came from strict families, and they both knew how to life in a world like this.
"You want to throw me a wedding?"
Alyson nodded enthusiastically.
"You would do all the planning? Like everything that needed to be done for the wedding? All the inviting, the accommodations, everything? All I would have to do is show up in a white dress?"
Alyson nodded at everything Kelsey said, practically every syllable. She looked rather pleased with herself. She'd gotten whatshe wanted again. Kelsey was sometimes such a push-over. But Alyson knew that this was just the Kelsey that belonged to Alyson. "And say the right name, bla-de-bla.." she muttered, waving a hand as if what she was saying was meaningless. "You just say the theme and it's done! Oh, and have you got a dress already?" Alyson hardly even waited a second, "Well your getting another one anyway! It has to fit with the theme, oh and invites ... who are you - you know what? We need to really sit down and talk about this.." she said in a bit of a rush, more or less talking to herself. Then, after a few seconds of pondering, she looked at Kelsey and rememebered that she was here. "Should James be included in this planning?" She asked, her brows puckering slightly into a thoughtful frown.
