Reagan walked out on the grounds even if she knew it was after curfew. She had another nightmare this night and she couldn't go back to sleep so she figured a nice little walk would be nice and get some fresh air.She wasn't afraid of the headmaster or the teachers as she had faith that they would stick to the normal rules of conduct and well she had survived worse before than a detention.Damn it .. why do these dreams come back .. or memories or what the hell they call them..i wish i had just a normal life as a kid but no ..stick me with the sadist and the tramp who slept around more than a malfoy ..Why would they do those things to me ? didn't they have any feelings or did those die when they sided with the dark lord..i don't know why they did in the first place ...but making me think that way too .. its never gonna happen ..
She walked near the castle and admired the view. She had heard that hogwarts was the safest place in the wizarding world and it was the perfect way to escape her parents and family. She licked her lips and thought of the old lady, she was so sweet but when her father found out what the lady had been doing ,he killed her.It was a painful memory for Reagan and a few tears gathered in her eyes before she wiped them away gently. She looked around and tried to think of other things and well she was a bit startled as she thought she heard footsteps.oh damn ..is it a teacher ? or a student? ah man I'm trouble .. wheres my wand ? oh good god ..no no no no its in the pocket of my jacket on the bed..im screwed if i get busted

Marcus had just gotten done with his Astrology work. He didn't have the class, but he found it rather easy to think when he drew the stars int he little green notebook he held in his right hand. Walking down from the tower he had thought about his recent encounter with Petra Riddle. She was a sweet little girl, but that wasn't what a Slytherin was suppose to be, nor a Riddle. yes, he had done his studies, and had done them quite well. You had to when your mum died before your eyes and your dad put you through insane Auror training until you were old enough to go to Hogwarts. He knew all the ancient family bloodlines, not by heart, but more by recognition.
During his time of thinking he had made his way out onto the lightly powdered white grounds. He needed a smoke, needed it badly. Yes, it was a nasty habit, but he couldn't help it. His life was stressful, spending his free time trying to hunt down his mother's killer, something his pathetic excuse for a father had thrown on him since he was 7. Oh what he would give to see his face one last time, to just rip it off. But, he had turned his back on him and his past a long long time ago, and was still focused on the quest his father had left him.
His feet gave soft crunches as he passed in the snow, trails of footsteps following right behind his own, except he noticed there were two instead of one. Someone was out here, and he knew it. He made his way to a slightly snowed bench, taking his hand and dusting it off fairly enough to sit down on it. He stuffed the green notebook in his coat, switching it for a pack of cigarettes. He took one out, placed it to his lips and placed the pack back in his coat, now drawing his wand. "Incendio." he whispered softly, his breath fogging out from his mouth as if he had been fogging the whole time. The tip of the wand let a small flame and he place it to the tip of the cigarette, giving a small draw before shaking out the wand as if it were match. The smoke filled his lungs and he let it out slowly, removing the cigarette from his lips and between his fingers. Whoever was out there would see him, and find him eventually.

She breathed out in relief as she didn't seemed to end up in any trouble right now but she some light that got her a bit curious.Walking over to it ,she let her curiosity get the best of her and she saw a boy, some slytherin kid that was alittle younger than her.She hoped he wasn't looking for trouble ,but if he was she`d take the pain as that was what she does."Aren't you a bit young to be smoking .. "she said softly and looked at the snow that fell and tugged the collar of her coat closer to her.She didn't really mind the cold and the snow showed her that something could be white and untainted in this world they lived in.
She grabbed a pinkish purple box from her pocket ,the only bloody damn thing she ever kept with her at all times. Her own addiction that started when she was fifteen and visiting Norway again. It was something they called Snus in Norwegian but it was quite addictive as she had learnt first hand. She opened the box and grabbed one of those little bags with a tobacco mixture in them that sent out those pleasant little nicotine kicks she needed so badly. The best thing about them was no one barely noticed this kind as she had it under her lip."Why are you out so late? cant sleep either?"she asked softly and was a bit nervous.
She wasn't too fond of new people, she never knew where she had them or what they would do.She thought about the people that her father would bring home to the manor and what they would do for a brief second before she shook those thoughts away. She didn't like crying or showing her weakness for everyone.

He placed the end of the cigarette to his lips again, breathing in slowly. The end glowed red hot, and dimmed as he quit, letting the smoke fill his lungs again. He flicked some of the ashes off into the snow, leaving little black speckled patches. He let out the smoke again slowly, his lips in the form of a silent whistle. He pressed the end to his lips again and he heard the footsteps finally, crunching lightly in the snow. He knew they'd come. The smoke filled his lungs again as he watched the appearance of a Gryffindor girl, only a year older than her, come into view. She looked like the typical Gryffie girl. Blonde hair, perky face. What was this school turning into.
Her question stuck him in surprise. He looked up at her, since he was sitting and she was standing, breathing out the smoke hidden in his lungs before he spoke. "Aren't you a little too old to be asking silly questions eh?" he retorted, his thick Liverpool accent hanging out. Yeah he wasn't the nicest kid on the block. How could he be with all those rumors flying around about him. Mute, dummy, bastard child. They were all wrong, but his problem didn't lie with them, it lied with his mother's killer, they would come in due time.
He flicked off some of his ashes as he watched her pull of a little purplish box, her hands working it open and pulling out a little brown mixture. He thought it looked like snuff, the stuff his dad use to chew on back during the days he lived with him. His dad hated smoking, so instead he decided to rot all his teeth away into oblivion. Good image for the family dad!
"I was actually working on something a little while ago, came out to catch a quick smoke before I headed in." he replied to her question after taking another draw off his cigarette. It was burning ever so slowly tonight, and he was rather glad. Seemed all his others were finished way before they were lit. He flicked more ashes off the end before asking her the same question. "What about you eh? A little Gryffie out here alone?" He didn't hat Gryffindors, nor any other houses for that matter. It was just the way he had been treated in the past, and most of the time it was cause of the Gryffies, but mainly due that he was a Slytherin and their long house feud that dug its was though ancient history.

Oh great ..hes just like any other slytherin, a jerk and probably thinks hes royalty..oh great..just peachy ..ah well hes hopefully not smart enough to tell a professor or the headmaster. She sighed heavily and bit her bottom-lip and sighed again"well I'm not that old and i can ask questions if i want too"she said with a smirk and looked at the boy."besides .. shouldn't be with the rest of the snakes " she huffed and looked around a bit more.
oh god great ..this kid is giving me lip,, i would take it from someone older than me .. hell this is just another slytherin boy .. but no point in egging on a fight..you don't have you're damned wand with you and no real way of defending yourself except hands and feet.i doubt it would do any good..she ran a hand trough her hair and looked up at the sky and admired the stars, they had such freedom and beauty and that was something she didn't have.Freedom , she longed to be free of her horrid family who took the out-most pleasure in her misery.
"what I'm doing here ..is none of your business .. so just don't ask about it "she tugged on her collar more and looked at him and wondered what her school was becoming. It seemed more and more of the students were jerks and probably would end up on the dark side as she liked to call it."so what do you intend to do ? tell on me ? wouldn't surprise me at all."She might be a bit harsh to him but if she knew one thing ,it was to expect the worst in certain people and well she didn't care if she got into trouble or not.Any way she could piss of her father was a good way.She had her own ways of revenge and well they might be fast and cruel ,they had their own effect.

He chuckled a bit as he listened to her. Yeah she was a Gryffie all right, hot tempered at the sign of the Snake, though everyone knew he had nothing to do with the and their little club of Death Eaters. They were the ones to kill his mother, he should be doing the same to each and every single one of them right now, but he knew he couldn't. "I don't want part in their little games." he told her as he took another draw from the cancer stick. Eh, he could cure it if he ever got it. That was the one great thing about Wizards, they surpassed muggles in their medicine. He didn't hate the muggles though, and had high respect for some of them that his father had known and grown up around. They didn't deserve the same treatment his mother had gotten.
He flicked ashes as he watched her squirm about, running her fingers through her hair. Maybe she was different than all the others? Maybe there was hope that he could have at least one friend outside his own house, but even then those were few. He listened as she spoke again, drawing ever so slowly from his cigarette. He chuckled a bit and looked offended. "Well excuse me missy! I was just asking you the same things you asked me, no harm intended, scout's honor!" He crossed his heart and chuckled a bit more as he let out the smoke that had recently filled his lungs. He flicked more ashes with the wiggle of his finger.
"Tell on you?" he said, now really offended. "You think a bloke like me, one who's apparently been to Azkaban for two years of his life, wanted by so many people would tell on you? Me, a person with no one around?Pft." He shook his head in disgust. Maybe she wasn't different after all. He sighed a bit before taking another draw, letting the smoke fill his lungs once again as the nicotine finall hit his brain, causing him to relax. "The name's Marcus." he said, his accent hanging out again, "In case you haven't already heard of me." He rolled his eyes at the thought of it before continuing. "Those things aren't true though, just seems everyone wants to have their ways with me because I'm apparently some sort of mute cause I don't talk much."

hmm .. he sounds like he hates them .. could it be there is actually one decent slytherin that I've met.Ah crap .. and i was being so damn rude..damn it ..son of a bitch .. this is hard ..but i guess i gotta do it "ah sorry for being rude ..its just ....ah .. most snakes seem to gather in a flock and protect each-other no matter how messed up the things they do are.."she mumbled a bit and sighed ,it was time to do the thing she doesn't like to do that much , to apologize "and I'm ..aah ..sorry if i judged you alittle too hard .. but like said i know i shouldn't trust a slytherin.." she mumbled and bit her bottom-lip hard and rough as she thought of her father , a former slytherin who had such anger and hate in him that there was no hope for his soul.
"ah .. I'm Reagan .. Middle name is James ..guess my father wanted a son but ended up with a useless girl .. "she muttered ,repeating the words her father had so often spoken to her."ah ..i don't think you have been azkaban .. don't strike me as the type ..but if you said muggle Amsterdam ..maybe .. "she joked a bit to lighten the mood and force her thoughts away from the family life she ended up with."so .. what was it you were working ? if i may ask .."she figured there would need to be some sort of conversation , she hated the awkward silence.

Marcus gave a nod as he listened to her speak. An apology? That was something he hadn't heard since 3 years ago, when his father told him he was so sorry for everything and begged him to stay. But, that was the past and that's where it needed to stay. He shook the thought out of his mind as he took another hit off the cancer stick, repeating the same fluid motions of exhaling and flicking, the ground now littered more and more with black speckles, like that of his dammed soul. He finally spoke. "It's fine, I guess I shouldn't had come off so harsh me self now eh?" he let out another chuckle, but this time it wasn't a cold one, it was rather warm despite his insides. He flicked ashes as he spoke once again. "Damn right you shouldn't trust one, I don't trust 'em, not even myself." He looked up at her and gave a little nod before hitting off his cigarette again.
He was rather calm now, unlike before when he first walked outside. His talk with Petra made him cringe a bit inside. He gave her way too much information than he really should have. Oh how he could be so weak and stupid at times. He needed to keep a short leash on all that. His thoughts returned quickly as she spoke once again. "I've been there once, Amsterdam that is. Lived there for six months, something like that." he chuckled though at her little joke and took another draw. He was getting close to finishing, but he wouldn't just get up and leave her, no she was interesting for a Gryffie. Could he had been wrong all these years? "Just some Astrology charts and stuff, a few drawings in between the actual work pages." With this he pulled out the little green spiral notebook from his coat and held it out. "You can look if ya want." he said, his thick accent hanging out again as he blew smoke.

"ah .. naaah its not a big deal ..I'm used to harshness ..besides I'm was a rude gryffie ..damn its nice out here .. its a bit cold but not to cold"She said with a smile and looked over at him and nibbled on her bottom-lip a bit.He isn't that bad ..he seems to be nice and well maybe we got off to a bad start but its better now.he seems to be a bit serious but i can deal with it."Yeah .. well my dad wishes i was in slytherin.. just like he was " she looked at him "the bad thing about smoke is that you cant have it in class..but these babies don't show and give the same kick.."she said with a big grin and showed the box.
"you wanna try one? but i warn you they can be addictive..hell i cant leave for anywhere without them"she said with a smile and looked around a bit and ended up looking at the ground. She pouted a bit as the snow was a mix of ashes and snow."so Marcus .. how come you don't trust them? and why not trust yourself , if you cant count on yourself then who do you have to count on?"she was a bit curious on that comment and while she tried to not be so damn nosy ,curiosity still got the best of her.
"oh you have? what was that like? don't tell me you hung out the district alot?"she hinted at the infamous district that brought more muggle tourists there than anything else.At least in her mind , well why else would men and some women go there."ah i can .. ah cool .. hmm astrology huh.. you like the stars too?"she asked with a smile and licked her lips a bit her bottom-lip a bit."you seem pretty decent on this... guess you're good in the classes?"

He chuckled as he blew out smoke. She was rather funny, but more light-hearted than he was. Marcus always looked at things on a serious approach, which he had learn once again from his father. He couldn't simply change it though, no matter how much he tried. Once something is beat into you, and literally beat with belts and curses, then it just kinda stays with you. Maybe one day he would learn to just peer over the horizon of it all, but right now he needed an excuse to still be mad at his father, and so far the beatings were the only thing to add up. His thoughts snapped back though as she finished her first round of speaking. "Yeah, my whole family was in Slytherin, minus me mum, she was a Ravenclaw." he commented.
He watched her as she spoke about the tobacco in the box, watching as she pulled it out and offered him some. "No thanks" he said, shaking his head as he took another draw from the smoke. Almost out. Would he light another one? Or just hold in the last draw for a few moments. He blew out the smoke, listening to her speak once again, this time about his trust issues. "I don't trust them because they have no idea what they speak of. Saying their lives are so hard." he looked disgusted for a moment, but it cleared as he spoke again. "And I have no one to count on, that's just me. Can't trust me self cause I was raised not to." He looked up at her before taking the last draw of his smoke.
The cigarette fell to the snow, and he didn't bother stepping on it cause he heard the slight crackle of the embers dying out in the snow. He held the smoke in his lungs as he heard her speak, blowing the last out softly through his nose. "Nah, no district for me." he chuckled. "never really stepped foot in the city but only once, we locked ourselves up right outside the city in a tent. Dad was always the one to go to town." He watched as she flipped through the spiral, commenting on his work. 'yeah well, I don't take the class."

"oh okey...Well i wont force you too take one .. ah its a nice night tonight and I'm glad i have some company.." she said with a bright smile and looked at him and then chewed a bit on her bottom-lip before looking down at the ground ,seeing all the ashes that mixed with the clean snow. She wondered what was going on inside his head and if it was about his home, he seemed angry with his father."I'm sorry to hear that .. i kinda know the feeling .." she sighed heavily and looked at him.she leaned in and kissed his cheek to cheer him up a bit.
"ah .. well its true ..blood doesnt matter that much .. what matters is who they are and what they do ...Ooh .. you know what i am craving? .. chocolate and maybe even a lollipop " she said with a smile and looked around a bit and sighed softly.he Talked a bit more and then seemed to be thinking of something."ah .. no District ..huh .. oh how was it ? did you see anything exciting?"she asked curiously and looked into his eyes and licked her lips a bit.She was happy to get to know him and if she made a friend it would be great."i haven't traveled much ... but i would like to one day " she said with a smile and licked her lips a bit more.
