Alex had played along, without himself saying a word. He had really wondered why has he only met these guys now. If the Ravenclaw knew these people since his first year, he would be less shy and more loud, and his childhood wouldn't have been as sadder. He sighed as his fingers kept strumming and changing chords. He had found it very fascinating how, some metal string could make such a beautiful sound. Alex had not felt this happy since he found out that he was going to Hogwarts. But of course after his first year, he didn't look at Hogwarts as he did when he first came there.

Alex reminded her of, well, herself in third year, when life hadn't been the best. She understood where he was. She hoped the little one realised this. Yumi flicked her gaze up to her boyfriend, a questioning look in her eyes, then to Alex, then back to Albus. It were as if she were saying, 'Do you see that?' She sighed, biting her lip. She finished the song with a yawn. Her riff changed as she began to play her own song. There were no lyrics, just a gentle humming sound. It was a happy song, which had cheered Yumi up when she were sad. She hoped it cheered up Alex a bit more than he was now. She grinned at Rachel, hoping she'd realise what Yumi was trying to do.

Albus nodded slightly in response to his girlfriend's silent question, himself looking from Rachel to Alex before she even said anything. The boy turned to the girl beneath him and raised an eyebrow in a questioning look as if to say 'what do you propose we do about it?'
Albus chuckled slightly when Yumi started playing her "happy song" as he called it. It took him a minute to see what she was doing, but he smiled at the realization. The male looked at the two before them in his peripheral vision, wondering what their reactions will be.

Rachel smiled, watching the two of them play in amusement, enjoying the sound. When the music stopped she sensed something was up and looked to Alex, who had an unreadable look on his face. If only she could read his mind. Her ears perked slightly at the sound of the happier tune being plucked out, she turned to see Yumi smiling at her. It took her a few minutes to see what the girl was doing and she smiled, watching Alex to see how he'd react.

When Alex and Yumi finished the song, almost immediately he heard Yumi play a different song. He had never heard that song before in his life, maybe she made it. He wasn't sure, but there was one thing that he was sure about, that it made him feel more happier. It really did feel good to have friends, as this thoughts came across his head, his hair had gotten shorter. All it did was cover his right eye at that moment. The ravenclaw then turned to the Gryffindor, who was playing the guitar and asked if she could teach him how to play that song.

Yumi didn't reply by eye, she turned her vision back to Alex and shrugged against Albus. At his question, she nodded. "Sure, why not." She could see a definate change in his actions. She sat forward a little, saying, copy me. She ran through the song, slowly, occasionally coming to a change in rythym, and when they came she explained to Alex why she changed it. It didn't take very long, as the song wasn't very long unless you repeated it.
"Wanna try?" she asked, beginning the song all over again.

Alex smiled when she had agreed to teaching him, you would rarely see him do that. He then slowly played the song along with Yumi, falling behind by a second or two. When both of them had finished, he began to play at the same time as Yumi was. It wasn't too hard, it was actually very easy. He really enjoyed that song, it made him smile. While the Ravenclaw was playing his hair gotten shorter in the front but for some reason it got longer behind his head. But he didn't really notice it, he had never felt when he had morphed without himself controlling it.

"Alex, your hair just grew" Rachel commented with a yawn, leaning back and lying on her back, facing the sky. The girl turned slightly so she was facing the smaller male, noting his reaction to see if her theory is true. Was he a metaporphagus (sp?)? For all she knew he could be, first the eyes now the hair. She hadn't seen one before in her life, only heard of them, so this was just fascinating.

"Rachel Harrison you come back here!" Abigail demanded, running towards her sister in annoyance. This was the last time Rachel used one of her visions to manipulate her. She liked her sister okay, but Rachel knowing everything before it happens or everything that HAD happened was quite annoying.
The third year stormed over and glared down at the older girl, hands on her hips in a stubborn fashion and scowling at her sister's expression. "Don't you grin at me! I'm not happy with you!"
Abby blinked slightly when she noticed they weren't alone and her face turned red. She had met Yumi and Albus before, they were used to her by now, but the other one-he was NOT familiar. The girl groaned slightly, rubbing her temples as she tried to hide her face. Well, this was embarrassing. The girl peeked out from behind her fingers. Crap. He was cute. Abigail took a minute to compose herself before looking at the boy again. He was in Ravenclaw, like herself, probably around her age. Oh boy this was going to be awkward. She plastered a smile on her face anyway and plopped herself between her sister and the boy. "Hi there! I'm Abigail! Who're you?"

Alex had kept playing along with Yumi, until he had heard someone else scream. When he did he thought that trouble was about to come, so he quickly made his hair cover his face like it did before he met his friends. After changing his appearance, the Ravenclaw turned around to look at the girl that he had heard scream Rachel's friend. His eye's widened a bit, he thought that she was cuter then Rachel. Alex he had said with the same stutter, as he had first when he talked with Rachel. After introducing himself, he had slowly scratched the back of his neck.

"Nice to meet ya Alex!" she grinned, sitting upon her sister's lap just to bother her. It was part of her job as the little sister. The girl tilted her head at Alex slightly and leaned towards him, smirking slightly "Metamorphamagus?"

"Abby if you want to keep your face where it is, get. off. me." Rachel growled, watching her sister with a glare, but froze when she noticed Alex's reaction to her sister. She smirked slightly and eyed Yumi, looking between the two Ravenclaws and the Gryffindor and wagging her eyebrows slightly as if to suggest something developing between the two younger kids. This lightened her spirits slightly, but she still pushed her sister off her in amusement, getting up and walking to the other two Gryffindor kids.

"Oh this is interesting" Albus chuckled, wrapping his arms back around Yumi and exchanging looks with Rachel across from them. When Rachel walked over to them, he pretended to make conversation so that the smaller kids could chat. "So... what's everybody been up to?"

Yumi grinned at Abigail. "Hello." You could see the connection between the two young ones.. As Albus tightened his grasp around her, Yumi smiled. The scene was making her forget about running away and all her problems. And then she got reminded again.
"So ... what's everyone been up to?"
A little colour rose to Yumi's cheeks. "Urm, nothing really!" she chiruped, lying. She'd been planning her escape to a harder life. It really couldn't be any harder than the life she lived at home. She shook her head a little, thinking about it, then sighed a very heavy sigh. It was times like these she just wanted to possibly be a Slytherin, it would make life a whole lot easier.

He had nodded slowly after he was asked if he was a metamorphamagus. He wasn't a type of person to brag about his power. He knew it was rare and all, but he would still rather if people didn't know that he was a metamorphamagus. When he had watched Rachel push Abigail off her, he couldn't help but smile. Being the gentleman that he was, he had pushed himself up to Abigail an asked her if she was OK. He then helped her up. He was really shy, when he was around girls, especially if he like that girl.
