A new school, a new year, a new day. That was what Michael had to tell himself as he got up every morning expecting it to be a longer and worse day than the last. Because at school is the only time he ever had a decent nights sleep, he had come back to Hogwarts early form the Christmas break. He had hung out with his friend James a bit, but he was still spending the days mostly outside the school while they were technically aloud. He spent a lot of time away during the school year anyway, but that is the kind of responsibility they let you take care of when you are a father of a two year old at seventeen years of age. When he had switched schools for his last year, the only people who knew about his son Cody was the professors and soon after, James, who was now just about his best friend.
Michael had switched schools from Durmstrang because he just could not take another year there. Surrounded by the idiots and all the people who had been keeping the rumors and taunting of his reputation of over the past two years. Anyone else, they would have dropped a long time ago. But anyone who was a parent when they were only fifteen years old, fourteen when he found out actually, was someone they could keep making fun of. So because he spoke excellent English, only with a trace of his Bulgarian accent still, he decided to escape that and enjoy his final year of school. He had not made a bunch of friends yet, but enough that it was working out. And not having anyone know about his son was a plus, because he had actually been able to go out with on a couple dates.
After all, he was not expecting anything that started in school to escalate into something that might actually last. And when it did, he would go on ahead and tell them flat out, if you have a problem with kids, you're out. He loves flirting, loves sex, and girls in general, but he would never stand for someone who could not live knowing he had a kid. Because he had been known as a sexual person back at Durmstrang, when he was discovered to be a father so young, not many girls would go out with him. After all, they did not want to be classified as a slut or anything, right? Stupid stereotypes. Now today, his plans were simple. Go out to the grounds and lay in the snow for a while, and decide when he would go to Hogsmeade to apparate to his ex-girlfriends house to see Cody. After all, he definitely wanted to see his son, he always did.
Michael pulled on some jeans, his boots and his dad's old leather jacket. He has worn it every year since his dad gave it to him for his fourteenth birthday. It was getting a bit snug, but he would never give it up. No matter what happened to it. It was one of the last things he had linking him to his father. He combed his jet black hair and made sure it looked okay for now, because as soon as he stepped foot outside, it would be a windblown mess all over again. But at least it would not be a windblown mess right after bedhead. That would just make him look ridiculous. He walked his way down to the courtyard area, this school was so much... Nicer inside and out than Durmstrang had been. It was almost depressing returning to Durmstrang year after year, when he got to Hogwarts, he had felt... Welcomed? It was weird and hard to explain.
Not knowing what today would bring him in the earlier hours, he walked all the way to the edge of the lawns, which were all covered in the winter snow. He plopped down in the snow and started drawing with his gloved fingers in the snow. He wrote Cody's full name, erased it, wrote his full name, erased it... This was when he would have written say, his girlfriends name, but he did not have one at the moment. Maybe that would change soon, he had been on a few dates, maybe he could get one to stick around? Especially since he did not have his whole history tying him down as only James and the professors knew his situation. "What to do today..." he mused aloud while trying to think of what to and drawing random swirling designs in the freezing cold snow.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Looking up at the sky watching the light mist of snow fall down Adriana had drifted off in her thoughts. Thinking about everything that happened the past few months. Before she could catch it she drifted off getting lost in thoughts that would never be forgotten.
Five months back where considered the best time of Adria's life, at that time. She was in love with Tiberius Greyback, she was doing great in school, she had loads of friends, and well like she said it was the best time of her life. The back too school dance had seemed like a new beginning for her. She had ended up letting lust control her life for a moment and Ty and herself ended up sleeping together. That night forming a new life that would soon to be discovered.
Two months after that Adriana found out about this child, and was terrified. Thinking Ty would leave her she was determined on possibly raising it alone, but that didn't happen. Ty was supportive about it, or so he said. Come to find out though, he left her two weeks later. Not broke up with, but left as it went MIA. That devastated her. She didn't know what to do,and she was completely heart broken.
Mr Greyback came back a month later to his three month pregnant girlfriend only to dump her, saying she was no good for him, that he got what he wanted out of her. All things she didn't want to hear. Adriana deny ed them over and over again, but every day she sat there in the common room waiting on him to take it back, he never did. See this sent Adriana into a great spiral of depression. One that she couldn't get out off.
All of this depression, all this stress did something horrible the next month. It killed that unborn child that she was now looking forward to having. She blamed herself and Tiberius for it. For killing her baby. Her four month old unborn baby. This she couldn't live with. This Adrian's could never live with. She did stupid things during this time. Nearly killed herself once, just because she didn't think she could live with herself for being a murderer...
All of her thoughts stopped right there and she moved her hands to her stomach letting silent tears fall out of her eyes. Today she would have been nearly sixth months pregnant with her baby. With the baby that never had a chance. This was going to kill her one day, this guilt I mean. She had to do something about it, but Adria truly didn't know what to do.
As she lay ed there looking up at the clear sky, laying back on the snowy grass she sighed wiping her eyes with her hand.
Adriana just lay ed there in the freezing snow thinking about what her life would have been like if she was pregnant. If that baby was still in her stomach when she heard someone walk up and sit about ten feet away from her. She figured he didn't see her because well she was in all white, she didn't talk though, she remained completely silent watching him draw someones name in the snow.
Curiosity grew up inside of her making the young blond girl sit up and pull her knees to her chest, just as he talked. Smiling she fixed her hat upon her head and turned her head to face him. "Hmm that is a very good question." She said with a small smile before outstretching her legs straight out in front of her. Putting her ams back and just sitting there for a moment as she thought. "There isn't alot to do on snowy days like this one..." Adriana didn't even really care if she was talking to herself because he was ignoring her, because that had happened before, she was just glad to have someone else out here, even if she didn't KO him the least bit. "I haven't seen you around here bfore, oh and I am Adriana..." Right now she was regretting even talking.

Sitting on his own was going to get old fast, he had known that when he had left that morning. He took his doodling fingers out of the freezing cold slosh on the ground for a bit, just thinking and staring off into the distance. Shortly after he talked though, he finally noticed another person nearby in the snow. She seemed about his age, blond and dressed in all white. She was actually very attractive, but he could not think about that. Why would she even give him the time of day? She did not know him the least bit after all. But then something surprised him. She sat up, and commented back to him. She agreed kind of, saying that there was not much to do on a snowy day like this. He held back a grin, as she continued talking. She did not seem to confidant that he was listening at first, probably since he was still staring at the ground.
Finally looking up at her as she introduced herself as Adriana, he smiled at her. Michael knew he had a handsome flirty smile, and he always used it to his advantage whether he meant to or not. He thought for a second on whether or not he would sound childish saying what he was about to say, and figured it would not matter too much anyway. Either she would make fun of him, which he was used to. Or she might just understand his sense of humor. So he settled on saying, "Well, there is actually plenty to do. Snowball fights." he said as he picked up a small handful of snow and formed a ball, and holding it up. "For example. Or you could make snow angels. Which I refuse to demonstrate. Plenty of things. Just nothing I want to be doing." he said with traces of his Bulgarian accent and a chuckle on the end. Yes, that would probably be enough for her to get his personality. He liked to joke around, because after all the hard stuff he has had to deal with in his life already, he could always use a good laugh.
"I'm Michael by the way. And you're right you probably haven't seen me around. It's my first year at Hogwarts." he explained simply. "It's nice to meet you Adriana." he added, trying to be polite as he often was with women. Well, this might change all his plans for the day. Maybe he would not be going to see his son, if he got to meet someone new and get to know them a little. After all, he had been here the entire early term and barely gotten to know anyone at all. He was pretty quiet in class, quite the opposite of how he had been a Durmstrang. At Durmstrang he was the loud and outspoken kid that every teacher hates. Even after all the terrors in his family and his girlfriend winding up pregnant. Even then he had kept his normal exterior, because then no one would know just how messed up he really was on the inside. And he planned to keep people guessing about that here, but no one knew him here either. So this was a chance to completely start over, and he wanted it to work out better this time.
Of course, then Michael remembered one things that was completely different from Hogwarts to Durmstrang. The way people socialized. It all depended on what house you were in, and he knew from his friend James that the house Slytherin usually did not get a long with anyone. He had no idea what house this girl was in, but seeing as he was new here this year, did anyone expect him to follow those general rules? No maybe not... Oh well, maybe she would not ask? Because he did not know for sure if Gryffindors were supposed to get along with everyone, everyone from their own house, or despise certain people. He had not been around enough to pay attention to anything but classes last term honestly, because he was spending a lot of time with Cody. So he really did not know where the rivalries were in this school. In his school it had been like a typical school, stero-types hung out with the same stereo-types. He had hated that too, because that classified him with teen parents and smokers basically. Because there was no stereo-type for a kid who's mum killed his dad and so on and so forth.
Michael sat up a little straighter and kept his eyes on Adriana. Should he move closer to her to talk with her? Or give her her space? For now he sat there and waited on her to say something back before he made that decision.
