Robert had made quite the range of friends over the holiday. Who were these friends? Well, a wide range of alcohol, that's what they were. Heavy drinking may not be a good thing for a role model such as a Headmaster to display but, it was the only thing he had left that he could control. It was the one thing he hadn't lost.
Needless to say, the holiday wasn't much of a break. Robert was constantly reminded of Kelsey and what she did...with Potter. Plus, his boys didn't really seem to care for their father either. Robert had nothing left, except for alcohol. He brought plenty of which back to Hogwarts with him after the winter holiday. He was beginning to regret taking the position at Hogwarts. Nothing was going right. Nothing was going the way he wanted or planned to go. Everything was just wrong.
On this particular day, Robert had taken care of all his Headmaster duties for the day. He held a short glass with several ice cubes in it. It was filled with a clear liquid - vodka. He had an old friend in Russia who made the stuff. He sent Robert some for Christmas. This stuff was the type of the line, very expensive in the muggle world. It was had no odor and was a clear as water. The only way one could tell it was vodka was if you drank some of it for yourself.
Robert sat at his desk, glass in hand resting on the desk. He stared at an old family photo. It was taken just a few days after Kelsey's birth. It was a happy time for the LeBlanc family. One that would only last for eleven more years before all that happiness was flushed away. All of that was Robert's fault. He knew it but, would never admit it to anyone. Things were bad for Robert. He felt like...crap. He knew he was a crappy father and husband. The only thing he felt he was good at lately was a Death Eater. The Ministry hadn't yet figured that out. Then again, they had other problems to worry about. Problems Bellatrix Lestrange and Jack Riddle were creating. Robert wasn't expecting to have some other thing in his life fall even more apart.

Being a Weasley was never a simple task. Most people judged her for her last name since everyone did know it. It belonged in history along with the last name Potter. Someone thought of the one last name the other went with it. Still no one really did believe she was a Weasley. She just didn’t look like one. But Dominique did have the traits of a Weasley. Not the physical ones so much but her personality screamed Weasley. And maybe it was one of the reasons she got Prefect. Either way the young lady did like having the power of Prefect. The only thing that sucked was the times she got. Usually they weren’t the best but it gave her chances to see Anton. She believed the Headmaster had no idea that his son was dating her.
Dominique actually really didn’t know how anyone knew she was with Anton LeBlanc. It was probably definitely rumored around school that the two of them were together. Actually she knew it was rumored since his sister found out that the two of them were together. And well she really didn’t care. She was so consumed with thoughts of Anton that whatever anyone else thought didn’t really matter. He was her boyfriend and they could say what they wanted. The two she knew probably were an odd couple. With Dom she used to just have flings and no lasting relationship. It was probably also different since she was a Weasley in Hufflepuff dating a Slytherin. But he would do anything for her so she knew she was safe.
And today she didn’t know how the events would turn. She had to go up to the Headmaster’s office to get Prefect times and then she would have to find everyone else and give them out. Usually the Head Girl would do this but she took it today. Seventh year Prefect almost Head Girl. Maybe the Headmaster hasn’t heard about his oldest son dating her. That might be good since she heard he wasn’t too pleased with his daughter marrying James. Well Dom could see that. They kind of just went and got married. She wasn’t going to do that with Anton. She would get changed into a vampire but marriage right now. No thanks.
Knocking on the Headmaster’s door she really hoped this was a good time. “Headmaster LeBlanc, its Dominique Weasley. I’m here to pick up the Prefect times.” Dom heard him say enter and she did. She spotted him drinking some clear liquid. With her knowledge of drinks she was pretty sure it was vodka. "Good evening, sir."

Robert's thoughts of failure was soon interrupted by knock on his office door. In a flash, Robert straightened himself off, put on a serious face, and made himself look busy with papers. He barked and enter and a blond-haired girl walked in. Within the first few months of being Headmaster, Robert took it upon himself to learn every students name. It was not easy but, after much time and memorization, he was able to do it. Even though the girl had announced herself, he knew who she was.
"Good evening, Miss Weasley," he said with a sloppy smile. "Ah, I seem to have misplaced the parchment. Please, sit down." Robert pointed to the chair across from his desk. He opened drawers, glancing in them. There was one drawer he didn't open. It was his alcohol drawer. He would not put an important paper in there. As much as Robert despised the Potter-Weasley clan, he did his best not to do so at Hogwarts. Well, at least he tried not to display it. If you were James Potter, well then you felt his full wrath of many things.
After shuffling several papers around, Robert still didn't find it. "Miss Weasley, since you are here, anything new to report?" he asked, moving to a side table that possible held the document. Making small talk was the Headmaster thing to do. It seemed fitting plus, he really did need to know what happened in the walls of his school. Aha! Here it was, stuck between some other papers that weren't even Hogwarts related. Robert didn't remember putting it there. He returned to his chair behind the desk, and did a quick check over of the list before handing it to the Weasley girl.

Dominique really never went to the Headmaster’s office. She wasn’t one to get caught when she caused trouble and no one really seemed to care that Lily has tried to kill her multiple times now. Her father said Hogwarts was the safest place but she really didn’t believe that anymore. Seemed like death eaters would definitely still be able to kill her here. She knew if she pushed it far enough Bellatrix would find someone else to kill her. Or maybe she could get that psychopath to come here herself. Now that would be interesting. Hopefully it wouldn’t get that far thought.
Hearing him greet her and tell her to sit down she followed the instructions. It didn’t bother her that he misplaced the papers. Was probably not something at the top of his ‘to do’ list. It was actually quiet amusing watching him search around for this piece of paper. It really wasn’t that important. Just times for when kids had to watch the students around the castle. “Thank you, sir.” She said smiling. Hopefully this wouldn’t be too bad. And then she saw he finally found the paper and handed it to her. Dominique checked it over quickly and saw that she had two night shifts with Anton. That worked fairly well.
Pocketing the list after folding it up she couldn’t help but her face drop slightly when he asked if anything was new. Should Dom be the one to tell him? Or did he already know and that was why he was asking. “Actually Headmaster, yes there is.” She said slowly and smiling at him. Hopefully he wouldn’t take this too badly. “I am dating your son, Anton.” There is was out. Dom kept a soft smile on her face hoping it really didn’t turn out as badly as she was picturing in her head.

Robert leaned back, folding his hands. He guessed that whatever news Dominique had, it wasn't greatly important. His face went to pure stone as the words tumbled out of the girl's mouth. Anger immediately washed over his face. He wasn't angry with the girl but, with Anton. Anton? How could he? With a Weasley? Since when? This didn't make any sense.
"You're what?" he asked, trying to remain calm. Robert thought that maybe he just imagined it. He glanced at his short crystal glass. How many drinks did he have today? This had to be all some sort of drunken hallucination. What did those Russians put in their vodka? Robert was beginning to feel slightly sorry for the Weasley girl. Unfortunately, she would have to be at the receiving end of his anger - if he heard her right.
Robert shot out a hand to his glass and gulped down the rest of his "water". He gritted his teeth, wishing he could refill it now. He couldn't, not in front of a student. Really? Anton with...with a Hufflepuff? Robert was repulsed. Maybe she brainwashed Anton, had him under some sort of spell, or used a love potion. He could see no reason why Anton would disgrace himself. Especially after Kelsey married that dirtbag.

Dominique watched how his emotions turned before she even heard a word come out his mouth. It was easy to tell he wasn’t thrilled his eldest son was dating her. She could see that. Probably didn’t like any Potters or Weasleys at all. Yet she was different than the rest of her family. Hated as much but different. Dom just had some veela in her. And she wasn’t charming Anton in any way. She would never do that to him. She really tried never to use the charm she had anymore. It really wasn’t fun and was old after a while. It was great knowing that Anton cared for her and would do anything for her. Now she just had to deal with his father.
“I’m dating your son Anton. It’s as simple as that.” She said somewhat offended on how bad he took it. There was no reason to get angry over it. She wasn’t going to make him run off with her and go get married. Actually she wanted to be turned into a vampire. To be with him forever. “I just thought you should know before you heard it from someone else.” It was hard for her not to be angry with Anton’s father. Everything else was bad in her life but Anton was the good part of it. She wasn’t going to have some trying to ruin that for her.
Great, he was a drinker too. Dom wasn’t dumb. She worked as a bartender at the Three Broomsticks and knew alcohol when she saw it. She was tempted to say drink away but didn’t want him to think even worse of her. Probably would end up thinking she was a whore or an alcoholic to know alcohol that well. She was more than prepared to take the anger that was boiling up inside the Headmaster. She has taken worse.

Robert chuckled to himself for a few moments. It was more at the fact that his life was flushing down the toilet even more so than he thought. Little did he know, after today a lot would come tumbling down. Enough, to push Robert off the edge. When that happens, it definitely won't be a pretty sight. "You thought, you would just walk in here, tell me your dating my son - and then leave?" he questioned, with a hard, cold stare. Oh, there were so many torturous, horrible, unthinkable things he wanted to do to that poor girl. He kept himself restrained, lucky for Dominique.
Robert shook his head. "I would have never expected this from him," he said, still staring at her. "He seems to have lowered his standards," he mused with a sinister grin. "It's such a shame, it won't last." Robert folded his hands together and leaned forward. "I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Potter. If you hurt him, leave him for someone else - " he paused for dramatic affect, fixing his stare on her harder. "I will find you."
Robert leaned back and cleared his throat once more. The thoughts of just what he could do to the Weasley right now, brought a smirk that hadn't touched in face for a year now. He missed this feeling he when he threatened someone. He missed using his power over others, persuasive or otherwise. "I will tell you what Weasley," he said, looking more cheerful now that before. "Break off before you get in over your head."

Another psycho, was her first thought as she heard him chuckle. Anton should have warned her about his father but no Beryx was a bigger problem at the time. Plus she brought this upon herself. She didn’t have to tell him. She just thought it would go over better since if he found out from kids talking he would probably come after her in a hallway. And when he asked his question she almost answered back just to be smart. Dominique knew it was rhetorical but she was more than ready to fight back for her relationship with Anton. Even though it would place her on the Headmaster’s ‘to kill list’ right after her cousin James.
When he talked about Anton lowering his standards she took it with a grain of salt. That was nothing. She was ready for more than that. Dom could just feel it coming by the way the Headmaster stared at her. And when he gave her that evil grin she knew that this wasn’t going to end well at all. All she could do was curse in her head. When he said it wasn’t going to last she had to raise an eyebrow. The two were in love. That bond was pretty tight. “Dont worry. There will be no reason for you to have to ‘find me’. I don’t plan on breaking up with him.” She told him a smirk playing at the corner of her lips. If he wanted to threaten her she was fine with that. It was if he carried through with them that she would have a problem.
Maybe Dom should have been quiet or broke down in tears. Something other than the smart comments that were running through her head. Yet she was a Weasley and being quiet wasn’t something that they necessarily did. It was just too much fun voicing their thoughts. When Dom saw how the Headmaster’s appearance changed she became worried. Him being that cheerful was never a good sign. And before she could think she spoke, “Headmaster, you just told me before to not leave him. And now you want me to leave him? Please tell me what you are trying to say.” And her voice was mockingly sweet and innocent. “And I’m not in over my head. But if he wants to we will of course run off and get married.” She added just for another blow.

Didn't kids know what the hell to shut their traps, nod their head, and leave? Apparently not Weasleys or Potters. No, instead they wanted to be dead. They thought they were so confident. Well, we will just see how confident they are when they are begging for their lives. Robert blinked, shaking that thought away. Now was not the time to go attacking students. It didn't necessarily mean he wouldn't do it.
Robert's face fell into a look of pure anger. His fist slammed on his desk. That little Weasley had crossed on line. He hoped she was scared. She should be. Never mind what he said early. Forcing her to break it off was so...childish. No, this called for something more. Something he could do - as a death eater. She thought she was so smart striking just the right nerve to piss him off. "You want to play that game, do you?" he questioned with a sinister smile. "Well, have told Anton that you like to sleep around?" Kids think that the gossip that goes around never reaches his ears. They are quite wrong.
Now, this was being slightly hypocritical. Robert has done the same thing one too many times. Still, he was handing her blow back. It wasn't what he'd like to do to her but, it would suffice for now. "Don't even think about running off with him. You have no idea what kind of family I have. There are things that you can't even comprehend." With a small grin, Robert pulled out his wand from under a paper and simple held it between his hands.
"Powerful weapon a wand," he mused, gazing down at his. The familiar feeling he got when torturing some poor soul surging back. Oh what he would give to do that again, for a moment of pure happiness. "It can take life away with simple aim and breath of two words. Of course, when I take a life....like to draw it out, make it painful," he glanced at Dom with a crazed look in his eye. "You better make sure you know just what you're getting yourself into," Robert warned.
Robert rose, still holding his wand, looking at it. He began to slowly step around his desk, making his way behind Dominique as he spoke. "I can take so much away from you," he said with a sort of measure of calmness that would scare the crap out of anyone that knew him when he got like this. Robert leaned on the back of Dom's chair, holding onto his wand with one hand. He whispered into her ear, "Don't you ever think about talking like that to me again. I might do something worse than call you whore."
He straightened up, and took the prefect sheet from it. Looking over it, Robert took it back to his desk. "This needs some changes," he said with a smirk. Using his wand, Robert touched the paper and it was wiped clean. After a beat, new times and names were placed. He made it so Dominique and Anton weren't working together. In fact, he made it so they worked completely opposite times. "That's better," Robert said, and handed the sheet back to Dominique.

Why Dominique was being so bold with the Headmaster she had no idea. Before she used to be the quiet little Hufflepuff who was a good role model and that was why she was given Prefect. She rarely spoke out of line unless she was sticking up for her family or she had a valid argument. And well her old self could see this as a valid argument but to talk to an adult in this manner? Especially the father of her boyfriend and the Headmaster of the school she was at. Dom was pretty sure he could make her life a living hell. But since so many people did want her dead another wasn’t that much of a difference. Just someone else who gave her empty threats. Well he was probably the only one who wouldn’t carry out with the threats. All the other death eaters would including her cousin Lily.
When he pounded the desk she couldn’t help but be satisfied with herself. She did exactly what she wanted to do and that was to get him angry. Push him a bit just to see what he might be capable of doing. Yeah it was a smart thing t do but she did it with everyone. Lily, Jack, and now the Headmaster got added to the list. Knowing that the whole marriage was a raw nerve could work in her favor. Bringing up her sleeping around was no big deal. That was the past. An old Dominique. She was definitely new this year. A girl who liked to fight more and was louder than she should be. But again she took it with a grain of salt. If Anton ever thought she would be unfaithful he would tell her. However she was pretty sure no other guy would be catching her eye.
Again Dominique liked knowing bringing up the wedding was something that would cause him to go mad. She wasn’t planning on marrying Anton while still in school. No, she would wait a bit. Her mother would have a heart attack if Dom went off, got married and didn’t tell the family. Weddings were a big thing for the Weasleys and everything was planned months before. “It seems like you don’t know what kind of family I have. Or the people who will stick up for me.” She said looking up at him. “I know your kind of family. I’ve dealt with them before and same goes with the rest of my family.” Yeah the whole pure blood thing was something the Weasleys and Potters had to deal for since the dawn of time. Death eaters hated them and they hated the death eaters.
As soon as he pulled out the wand Dom looked back to see how fast she might be able to get to that door and down all those stairs. That was without tripping herself or falling. She knew it wasn’t good that he had his wand out. The look in his eye was one she has seen in Lily and in Jack. That look on how great it would feel to torture and kill someone. Yeah she has seen it before. Yet coming from the Headmaster and being stuck in his study she felt even more vulnerable. True she did have a wand but how much could that help? Literally she would probably be getting tortured by the time she reached for it in her back pocket. “I know what I’m getting myself into with dating your son. And I’m ready for it.” Dom said trying to make her voice sound strong and unwavering.
A chill went straight down her spine and into her feet with the next threat the Headmaster gave her. It was almost the same one Jack gave her. Jack planned on leaving her all alone, her whole family dead and anyone she cared for. That would now include Anton. Yet if Jack thought he was getting anywhere near her boyfriend he had another thing coming. And the Headmaster standing behind her scared her all the more. She didn’t look back but just stared ahead thinking the worst in her head. A smart comment was on the tip of her tongue yet she remembered that he was behind her, with a wand, trying to hold back from killing her. “It won’t happen again.” Dom managed to get out through gritted teeth. That was a lie. If he even tried breaking her and Anton up he would see what she was holding back.
Taking the Prefect sheet away from her she tried to make a grab to snatch it back. However the Headmaster already had the sheet cleared and new times and names were on the sheet. Dominique knew her face dropped but like that would stop them. It was just Prefect duty and she could always switch. Just had to make sure the Headmaster wasn’t around whenever they were together now. “Oh I think this will work out just fine.” She said sarcastically looking over the times and names. They were at complete opposite times in the day. Again like that would stop them. Unless the Headmaster was also patrolling the corridors at all times during the day nothing was going to stop Dominique from seeing Anton.
