Sitting in the parlor of his home, Trent Lott flipped threw old photo albums. Running over memories that he wished he could go back too. Flipping over the page of his wedding day, running his index finger over the picture of the two standing at the alter. They had a very big wedding in his opinion. He had went all out for it, even though Angela had told him it wasn't nessassary. But he believed it was. He spent who knows how much money on it, and made sure all his family showed up. Even if they didn't approve. Shaking that memory out of his head he just sighed...
Closing the book he tossed in on the table knowing one of the house elves would pick it up. Standing up himself he ran his hand over his hair thinking of what he could do today. He still needed to go talk to his brother about the news the doctor told him about Harmony, his youngest sister being pregnant. Harmony had told him not to tell anyone, well she said her parents, so that didn’t count Alec. Just the thought of her being pregnant made him snap. Yes he loved kids, he has always wanted one, ever since he got married, but sadly Angela didn’t want one.
Shaking that out of his head he grabbed his coat pulling it on transporting himself to his brother’s house. Why, because well his brother needed to know about Harmony and the thought of a kid made him think of his little three year old niece that he absolutely adored. Taking his hand out of his pocket he knocked on his brothers door sighing slightly as he thought about Alec and Milly’s marriage.
See their marriage is what Trent had always pictured in his head. Having a nice house, him working, Angela staying at home taking care of their kids, but no. Angela didn’t want kids, and Angela judged him when she caught him and Shiloh. Damn how that woman got under his skin, but all at the same time he loved her.
Just pushing that aside he stood there waiting on his eldest brother to open the door...

A day off work just what he needed. Just what he had promised Milly. It was pain to wake up every morning just to flee before your wife or child woke up. Alec had always considered it a struggle to pull his arms from Milly’s waist and not be able to see Sophia’s steel grey eyes, like his own, when she first woke up. But who was he to complain? His older brother woke up alone…well, that actually depended on whether he decided to take someone home for the night, but usually he awoke to find emptiness beside him. Really, Alec didn’t know what he would possibly do if one morning, he woke up not to find Milly there. Actually, he didn’t want to think about it.
Being the captain of a world wide known qudditch team, you did have to sacrifice things, such as leaving early in the morning while your family continued to sleep, or sometimes being trailed away from them to visit other countries. It was a hard job, but with it, they managed to live in this luxurious house, give their daughter everything she wanted, and treat themselves to anything and everything they desired. So, supposedly when he didn’t think of all the bad things that the job acquired, he couldn’t say his job was as bad as he was making it out to be.
Sitting comfortable on the sofa with his young daughter in his arms, Alec laughed happily. Raising the small body in the air and then quickly lowering her caused the child to release an uproar of giggles. He hadn’t been able to set his daughter down since early this morning, and even Milly had encouraged him to let their daughter rest for awhile, but still, he couldn’t bring himself to put her to rest while she brought so much joy to him just to watch her
“We sure did make one hell of kid,” Alec laughed as he held Sophia in his arms, who was still releasing small laughs every now and them. The door knocked and Alec wondered if the house elves would get it, but he decided to get the door quicker than they could. Walking out to the entrance hall, he sighed softly to himself, wondering who the hell it could be. If it was his fellow death eaters, he would surely be pissed off. They knew not to come anywhere near his home.
But no. It was his older brother. Smirking, Alec looked at Trent and pushed the door open further, “Come on in,” He signalled his brother to make an entrance to his house. “Milly, Trent is here.” Alec called out to his wife, who was somewhere around the house. “So, what brings you here?” Of course, Alec always looked forward to seeing his brother, but still, he always expected something when his brother called.

Trent had was almost about to just walk in his younger brothers house, because he could hear his niece’s giggles all the way out here, when he saw the door open. Smiling at his brother the young man walked in taking off his coat and handing it to one of the house elves who had walked up. He brushed the snow off his hair and shoulders before looking back at his brother. Laughing slightly as he spoke he just shrugged. “Cant a man just come by to see his brother, and his family.” He teased knowing that he normally didn’t come over without calling unless he just seriously needed to talk to Alec.
There were many things that Trent really needed to talk to his brother about. One did happen to be his sister, and the other well, Angela. Every since they ran into each other at the Ministry, and then again at the Christmas Ball his mind hadn’t left her. Definitely seeing that after the dance they kind of got drunk and slept together. Damn alcohol. Then he had to go and get into an argument with her when she showed up to the ministry to interview him, and guess were that led. To them sleeping together, again. That was twice in three months, what was his life coming too. Shaking that thought out of his head he looked up at his brother and niece. “Well I actually came by for two reasons. I need to talk to you about Harmony, and something else.”
He knew that Harmony had trusted him not to tell anyone, but Alec was their brother, he deserved to know. Definitely seeing that Harmony didn’t know who the father was, because well she didn’t see him. Pushing that thought aside too he grinned up at his niece who was in his brothers arms. “She is the spitting image of her mother, but with your eyes Alec.” HE said reaching into his pocket pulling out a lollipop and handing it to his niece. “There you go sweetie.”
Trent loved his niece to death. He spoiled her like he was a grandparent or even her own parent, but he just assumed it was because he wanted kids, and well he never got them. Not with Angela anyways. Smiling at his niece he looked at his brother giving him one of those can I talk to you alone looks. Trent really didn’t really want to talk about Angela and that issue in front of his wife and kid, and he most definitely didn’t want to see Alec get angry over the Harmony thing in front of his three year old daughter.

Alec cursed himself for seeming a little pushy. His brother was right, couldn’t a man just call to see how his family where keeping? Of course he could. The young male grinned, “Damn right he could,” Alec exclaimed with a small laugh. Thankfully he was in a content mood today that he didn’t bother to speculate his brother’s arrival. Alec knew fine rightly that his brother would have informed him or arranged to call over if it was just for the fun of doing so, but when he called so unexpectedly, Alec was right to interrogate and ask questions. Luckily, he didn’t bother to continue to through questions at his older brother.
Then bringing his eyes to meet his daughters, he couldn’t stop himself from smiling. Looking at the very light of his life could only bring such a raw emotion of love that he was feeling. Her small hands clasped his cheek and smacked it slightly, looking for attention. Planting a kiss on her forehead, the young toddler rested her head on his broad shoulder. It seemed only now, when Alec was distracted that she found herself tired. Perhaps he could get her to take a small nap while he conversed with his brother. “You came to talk about Harmony?” Confusion swept his features and his looked at Trent, “Why? What’s wrong?” He asked quickly clearly worried of what news was to be spoken about his younger sister.
Even when Trent changed the subject to a much lighter topic, Alec still felt uneasy. Something was wrong, he could sense it. “Yeah, she inherited her mother’s good looks and her father’s feisty temper.” It was the truth. It was easy to see when Sophia wasn’t pleased, she would scrunch up her nose and throw her fists in the air unhappily, just like any young child would, only Sophia being ten times harder to calm down. Watching as Trent handed his niece a lollipop, Alec smirked, “Don’t be eating it until after supper.” He said knowing that his daughter didn’t give a care in the world.
Getting back down to the main reason for Trent’s visit, Alec looked at his brother, receiving his look. “Milly, come here and put the child to sleep.” He called out to his wife, slightly demanding of her. When she came, Alec handed Sophia to his wife and silently she took their daughter away.
Walking into the living room, Alec took a seat. “So what is wrong with Harmony?”

Trent had basically pushed everything else aside. He had too much on his mind as he watched his sister in law come and take his niece to take a nap. Smiling at the little girl he stuck his tongue out at her before walking off into the other room with his brother taking a seat in a chair across from him. Trent really didn’t know where to start. But he had to start somewhere with it, so right now he was going to come right out with it. “She is pregnant.” Well that was pretty point blank wasn’t it? He didn’t beat around the bush or anything with that and he was now regretting it. “She told me about it about a week ago, and I demanded she go to a doctor. Her being scared of mom and dad I took her. The doctor confirmed it. She is pregnant Alec.” He said simply.
Trent looked up at his brother waiting on his reaction. Wondering what he would do now that he too knew that his baby sister was pregnant at only sixteen. He knew that he was terrified for her, but pissed at the guy who did this to her. She was still a baby in his eyes. Still had a whole life ahead of her. Trent really didn’t know what kind of monster would do that. Running his fingers threw his hair he looked at Alec with a slight frown. “The bad thing is Alec… She doesn’t know who the father is, because she doesn’t know who slept with her.” This made him grow slightly angered. He might have already known all of this but the fact that his baby sister was raped still goes under his skin…
Shaking his head he looked up at his brother once more. “I am going to kill the son of a bitch who did this too her…” That slipped, and that was one reason he asked to speak to him alone, because he knew that there would be some bad things said in this conversation. And now that he had begun to talk about this situation he didn’t know if he was going to be able to calm himself back down enough to get the other thing he came here for out.
Trent was well; he was terrified for his little sister right now. He was also scared for the man who did this too her, because he knew well enough that Alec would be just as ticked off as he was, and them two both mad at the same man over someone in their family, couldn’t ever end well.

Alec leaned back on his chair and looked at Trent, attempting to relax but his nerves where getting the best for him. What was wrong with his baby sister? He knew it was bad, he could just sense it. But what the hell could it be? It couldn’t be that serious if their parents weren’t the first to inform Alec. With that thought Alec sighed, he was right. It couldn’t have been that worrying. ’She is pregnant.’ Alec sighed at the words and leaned back on his chair. Things could’ve been a lot worse…”What?” Instantly, a lump formed in Alec’s throat. What did his brother just say? For Merlin’s sake he hoped whatever was said, he misheard it. Then Trent went to explain it. His heart raced quicker and the words escaped his brother’s lips once again.
“What the fuck!” Alec shouted in disbelief, his steel grey eyes wide in horror. No, he refused to believe it. He refused to believe his innocent baby sister would have committed such an act. Alec was sure Milly was curious to what exactly was going on downstairs, but his mind was not on that right now, it was focused on his sister, who was now pregnant! The young man jumped to his feet clearly frustrated and paced around the room. “I don’t understand Trent. That’s our baby sister, a girl who was afraid of anything that resulted in bad consequences and now, she’s out having sex with people she doesn’t know!” Alec exploded, his face heating up increasingly fast with anger. “What the fuck has the world came to!”
Resting a clench fist on the coffee table, Alec looked at his brother, his teeth grinding furiously. “How had she let this happen? Was she at a party? Did she get drunk and end up in bed with some random bloke?” The man asked intently. His blood was at boiling point, he was literally going to blow. “For crying out loud, I thought she at least had the decency to use protection.” He growled angrily.
“We’re going to kill the poor bastard…” Alec said, completely serious as he looked at his brother. “What does she plan on doing?…Is she keeping it?” Alec asked curiously.

Listening to his brother raid on him just stood up himself rubbing the back of his neck. Trying to think of what to do. Trying to think of how he was suppose to tell his brother that the reason Harmony doesn’t know who she slept with is because she was magically being possessed by some lust thing, and the room was turned completely black, and that Trent didn’t even understand completely. He didn’t even know how he was supposed to tell him that this happened in their own house! The same house they both grew up in!
Turning to look at his brother he figured he better start explaining the best he could. “She is really pregnant Alec. I was there when the doctor confirmed it. I was just as shocked as you are. I… I don’t know. I couldn’t believe it either. I didn’t want to believe it… Because that’s just it. She is our baby sister, and she is still terrified of everything!” Pausing for a moment he rubbed the back of his neck looking up at his brother once more…
“Its not her fault either Alec. I know this is about to sound crazy, but she wasn’t at a party, she wasn’t drunk, she wasn’t sleeping around with some random person… This happened in our own home! This happened in the basement…. And its not her fault. She said that she opened this box she found, and that some weird feeling came over her, I assume its lust, and well that the next thing she knew the fucking room was black, and someone was talking to her… She couldn’t stop him, and well there it happened. Right under my damn nose!” Trent said angrily as he rubbed the back of his heck as he walked over to the window looking out.
This was hard on him. It might now seem like it, but it was. It was killing him inside, and he knew that he was going to kill whoever did this, even if it took forever to find out who it was. He now knew that he wasn’t going to be alone, that Alec was going to help. Nodding in agreement he walked over to his brother standing probably four feet away. “I agree, when I find out what dumb fuck decided to screw over our sister, I, I mean we are going to kill him…” his words were true and powerful, Trent couldn’t remember the last time he had been more serious.
Looking down at his feet for a moment he tried to think of what she was going to do. “I told her if she wanted to keep it, that I would raise it after it was born. I mean I have always wanted kids, and this way she could continue her life, but truthfully, I never got a straight answer out of her Alec.”

There was no word in the English vocabulary that described Alec Lott’s fury at the news of his younger sisters pregnancy. He believed that she wasn’t and never would be capable of managing a child, she herself, was only a mere child, for crying out loud! There was no denying it, the generation was getting younger and he was witnessing it before his very eyes. He was disgraced, ashamed, completely embarrassed by his sister. Did she not understand how much Alec trusted her? Trusted her not to get herself involved the way he and Trent had.
Alec growled under his breath and grabbed the first thing that he drew his eyes to, Milly’s vase. Throwing it at the wall direct from him, it shattered into a million little diamonds. Milly was going to kick his bloody ass if she seen what he had done. That was a present of her mother’s, was it not? But, it wasn’t nothing that could be fixed. Alec’s blood pressure began to raise increasingly fast as he listened to his older brother who tried to explain the situation to him. “How the fuck could we let this happen!” He shouted out loud, wanting the answer badly.
How Trent spoke of the situation wasn’t helping Alec’s uncontrollable anger. “It is her fault! As it was our fault when we decided to knock up Angela and Milly!” He shouted at his brother, finally admitting the long kept secret. So, what if he didn’t have the confirmation that the young child Angela was with was Trent’s, Alec was prepared to bet his life on it that the young toddler was his nephew, Trent’s son. “She couldn’t stop him? She could have at least attempted to fight him of! Perhaps scream like most wise girls would do. She‘s only fucking fifteen and already, she‘s thrown her bloody life away.” There was no hiding Alec’s disgrace and anger at Harmony.
Alec was a death eater, Trent was a Ministry official, the two could plan out the perfect murder and get away with it without even being suspected. And that was what Alec was determined to do, kill the son of a bitch. Alec wasn’t much of a murderer, he had only committed a few crimes in his time but still, he was quick and good at doing it. “I’m glad we are agreeing on something…” The young man looked down at the coffee table placed in the centre of his living room, “I no longer want to see Harmony though. I’m disgusted at her, utterly humiliated. When you see her, tell her that.”
Trent had always been the brother with the good heart, Alec on the other hand was different. While Trent offered to take the child under his wing, Alec would have persuaded Harmony to give it up and allow people who desired a child to have it. “Trent, you have your own child to look after you don’t need hers.”
Turning to his brother, Alec looked at him, his steel grey eyes showing no emotion. “She was pregnant you know, Angela. And I feel it‘s only right to tell you now, while we‘ve brought the subject up…Welcome to fatherhood.” He said it in a casual tone, as if announcing he needed to be excused to use the toilet. Taking his seat, Alec looked at Trent, “I think that’s enough drama for today. Are you staying for dinner?”

Trent had never really seen his brother grow so angry. Yes Alec had always been more open with his anger, while Trent himself always kept things in until the last possible moment, and then it was one hundred times worse than it would have been if he would have just let it out in the beginning, just like he was with this Harmony situation. Yes he was pretty pissed about the whole thing, but he knew not to snap on her. Not at this moment in time. He would probably never snap at her, but someone else, who added the last straw to that pile of built up anger, would probably be the one who got to see Trent Lott’s actually furry.
His brother throwing the glass vase across the room actually caught Trent off guard. He knew that his sister in law was going to beat the living day lights out of his brother for breaking something like that. See Milly and Alec’s relationship was always the type of relationship he wanted. Happily married, accepted by their parents, and to have a beautiful daughter or son. But he wasn’t blessed like that. He was the screw up in the family, even though everyone uses to think he would be the one leading Alec’s life…
Finding the right words to talk he ran his hand over the top of his hair yet again, a habit he got when he was trying to stay calm. “I don’t know Alec. It wasn’t like I was even expecting her to go out and do that! She is only what fifteen, sixteen, I never expected it. You didn’t expect it. I thought she was going to be different. I know we did that, but her. I never expected it Alec…” He said honestly as he looked at his brother for a long moment, trying to process this whole situation a little better.
While he was amongst all his thoughts, Alec, his little brother said something that caught him completely off guard. His eyebrows rose and he just starred at Alec for the longest moment. “I… I didn’t knock up Angela. What….What are you talking about Alec?” He said in a shocked tone as he just looked at his brother. Everything else around him seemed to seize at the words that left Alec’s lips about him knocking up Angela, because Trent knew nothing of this. He knew nothing about his ex wife and the fact they had a kid, this was all new to him. He had even pushed everything about Harmony out of the window; it was the least thing on his mind.
Trent didn’t know what to think at this moment. Everything else became slightly blurred and he sat back on the couch rubbing his neck. Yeah it wouldn’t shock him if Angela had gotten pregnant. It wasn’t like they never slept together. Hell they had a very good sex life… But it wouldn’t be like her to keep a child from him! Trent loved kids! She would have told him right?
But sitting there he looked at his brother again as he spoke something else about father hood. “What do you mean Alec…? I don’t have a kid… Not that I know about anyway.” He seriously was so clueless and shocked right now. “I have no kids… Do I?”
Ooc:: that sucked sooo badly sorry!
