How could she stay mad at him? He had the voice of an angel and a strong grip that could protect her from harm. She knew what he did was wrong. Hell, she was still hurting on the inside. But that was years ago. Hopefully it would be the one. She would rather live in denial than know the truth. She was happy living in her own perfect little world even if it wasn't real. As horrible as that was. She was brought up to always aim for perfection, even if it wasn't real. It was a crazy way to look at things, but it was how she was raised.
"Alec, I love you. Even though you did do this, I still love you. I just need time to get used to it. Just.. Just don't do it again, please. I know you won't, but if you are on the road and someone younger may come along, with a firmer butt, and didn't push a baby from her, well you know, just say no. For merlin sake say no," Milly said, looking up from his chest with a slight smile. She would always be on her guard now. She knew he wouldn't cheat again, but then again, she thought he would never cheat the first time. But she couldn't fret on that. Trust. She would have to trust him.
"I think you're right. Some time apart would be good. I just need time. I don't want you to go with us fighting though. You really scared me just now. When you grabbed my neck.. It was like you were a completely different person," Milly said, memories of what just happened flooding through her head again. She knew she would have nightmares of Alec and his face when he grabbed her by the throat. It was one of the scariest things she ever had to go through before in her life.

Alec was silently thinking of what it would be like to go back home again, to stay in his old room, to have his mother lecture him and wonder what the hell he was back at his previous home for. He wasn’t going to tell her, he refused to tell anyone why Milly and Alec had this argument, why he left the house to return back to his parents, why he wasn’t on speaking terms with his father as of now. Alec would try and attempt to keep the situation under wraps, especially from Trent, the last thing he needed was his brother to be pissed, as well as Angela, then that would mean he wouldn’t be seeing Aaron as much…
He smiled at her words, how could not? “A firmer butt?” Alec repeated moving a hand from her waist to her butt, “I doubt that.” He whispered, still smiling. “Milly, I know, I know. I’ve always said no except for that one and only time. And I could never live with the regret and guilt again…” He admitted, placing a small kiss on her forehead. The guilt and regret had killed him over the years, the burden on his shoulders was incredibly heavy, and he could now say that he felt much easier with Milly knowing.
“I’m sorry love, I honestly don’t know what came over me…” The sorrow in his tone was noticeable and the guilt returned quickly. Looking at her neck, he sighed and rubbed it tenderly for a moment. “I guess I’ll go get my things and probably write and not to my mother, telling her I’ll be staying for awhile. I can’t wait to see the look on her face.” He mumbled to himself before moving out of the kitchen and upstairs to their bedroom, to pack his things and leave…
