It had been over six months since there had been any death eater reports. True this was because they were trying to remain hidden in the shadows. This did not work for Jacks plans though. He needed the wizarding world to be plagued by the death eaters. He needed them to be in fear for their lives so that he could turn them against the ministry. His plans would only worked if the wizarding world believed that their government was no where near in control of the situation. He was getting sick, and tired of waiting for things to happen, but it just remained quiet, and peacefull. Obviously if he was going to get things his way he would have to do everything himself. This was not exactly how he had intended for things to work out, but it was the way that it would have to be.
Jack was in his fathers house going through a secret cabinet in the wall. He found that which he was looking for. He pulled out a black potion. Any one would have recognized the smell of polyjuice. This specific polyjuice potion was one that no one knew existed. His father had told him about it many years before. Back then he never thought that he would need it, but things change. This particular potion would make him look like a twenty year old Tom Marvolo Riddle. This way no one would know who he really was. The only living person who would recognise the face was Harry Potter himself. If Potter were to show up he wouldn't be to worried about concealing his identity any more. He would just be trying to kill the boy that lived. He put on an old death eaters robe, and took the potion with him.
He disapperated to London. He reapperated in an alley. He could see that the street at the end of the alley was packed with muggles no doubt doing some last minute christmas shopping. He drank the potion, and immediatly felt his body changing. As soon as he could feel that the transformation was complete He put the hood of the cloak up. All the muggles would see was the burning red eyes surrounded by shadow. He walked out of the alley, and with a flick of his wand a basilisk appeared, and began attacking people. He pointed his wand to the sky "Morse Morte" He truned back to the filthy muggles as his fathers mark appeared in the sky. "Avada Kedavra" With a green flash a muggle fell dead. "Deffindo" Another muggle tore in half. Now the air was full of screams, and the street was flooding with blood.

Today was one of those days Shiloh had nothing else to do but go and see what those filthy muggles where doing with their lives. Seeing how they walked around helplessly thinking they where safe from all that was out in the world. Boy how they where wrong. IF only they knew what that pretty face in front of them could do. If only they know what she had done. Shiloh might only be twenty five, but she defiantly wasn't innocent. During her death eater duties she had killed numerous muggles, and even a few mud bloods when she got very bored. Non recently though, thinking about it there had been no death eater activity lately, which seemed a little odd. How all those blood thirsty men and women where going without doing anything. It was just very odd in her opinion.
As the dark headed girl stepped out of a muggle clothing store, the sounds of screams caught her attention. People where running, and screaming, blood was filling the streets, a bright smile spread to her face as her bright blue eyes tilted to the sky seeing that all so family dark mark moving around. Perfect, something for her to do.
As she turned to face the person causing all this chaos, she noticed he wasn't alone, he was actually accompanied by a basilisk, a nice touch in her opinion. Feeling a muggle run into her and knock her back on her butt, into a pile of mud a snarl appeared on her lips. "Confringo" She yelled pointing her wand at the girl as she burst into flames. "I liked this outfit." She snarled watching the girl burn for a moment before standing back up wiping herself off. Damn muggles, to hell with them all she thought. She smirked slightly watching the woman fall over dead before turning her head around to face that masked figure once more...Wondering who that could possibly be.

Things were looking much brighter for Miss Victoire Weasley. She once again was able to smile being back together with Ted Lupin. This time it was official. It would last this time - longer than a week, or month. How did she know? Well, Ted finally came around after several years of waiting he finally told her he loved her. It was one of the very few things that had been keeping the two young lovers apart. Now, they were together and couldn't be separated by any force. At least, Victoire hoped it could really stay that way. She was lost without the Lupin boy in her life.
Victoire was using her time off of work to do a little shopping. She had spent more and more nights with Ted and thought it was time to get some...proper clothing for certain occasions. Fate, apparently had other plans for Victoire tonight other than shopping. Oh but, the shopping came first. Victoire had gone through her favorite spots in London, stopping at her favorite stores. Some, she hadn't been in for months. She had gotten along well with some of the shop workers - particularly woman's clothes sections and stores. A little catch up was in order. She left out all the magic stuff of course but, was at least able to fill her retail friends in with relationship news. It was probably the only thing she could really share with them.
After leaving the last store she planned to visit, she stopped on the sidewalk. It was eerily quiet. Too quiet for a London night. Victoire continued to walk on, heading in the direction of the Leaky Cauldron, though it was many, many blocks away. She was hoping to flag down a knightbus between here and there. That would never happen. As she walked, her shoes lightly padded on the damp cement. It was the only sound she heard. It definitely raised some suspicion. It wasn't until she passed a few muggles that were gawking at the sky when her attention was caught. Curious, she followed their gaze. Her eyes grew wide upon the sight in the sky.
Victoire thought that she would never see one in her life time. The Dark Mark. She gawked at it for several seconds. It wasn't until she heard screams in the distance that her auror skills kicked into action. She dropped her shopping bags and pulled out her wand. First thing first. She immediately sent her patronus to the Ministry. She gave her location, what she saw so far, and had heard. She didn't even care about the muggles near her. Obliviators would deal with them later. They were the least of her worries. After making sure her alert was sent to the Ministry, Victoire took off like a bat out of hell toward the Dark Mark. Stupid, it may be but, she needed to take action. She couldn't wait for back up.
Getting closer, Victoire slowed down, wand in hand. She crept along a wall and she got closer, trying to slow her breath from running. Victoire glanced back in the direction she came. Now was not the time to run away. She could possibly be the only one around that could do something. Vic wasn't going to wait. Waiting was probably the smart thing to do but, she couldn't just let...muggles burn. A screaming, flaming body ran past her, continued a little ways, and then collapsed. Peering further around the corner she could see a dark haired girl. Looking up, this seemed to be the area in which the Dark Mark was cast off. But, the question remained, who did it? Well, Victoire knew she just couldn't go running out there shooting spells. She knew she had to wait. The rest of the Aurors just better show up soon, she couldn't wait all night. Victoire watched, horrified as muggles were continuously being murdered.
Hiding behind a wall was not helping them. Victoire frowned. Forget the rules and waiting. There wasn't time. The more she waited, the more muggles would die. Victoire was the only witch here, so far, that could at least put up a certain fight. Now was the time that she could go off her wandless and silent magic skills she had been practicing. Wandless magic would come in handy if she was disarmed. Though she could only perform a few spells with the ability, it would at least buy her some time. Coming around the corner, Victoire pointed her wand at the dark haired girl. Glaring, Victoire silently disarmed her with expilliarmus.

Jack was totaly unsurprised by the appearance of another death eater. He had been hoping that more of the D.E. would show up, and he could not wait for the aurors to show. He wanted this to be big news. He instatly tapped the womans shoulder turning her clothes to death eater robes. A cruel and twisted smile crossed his face as he looked at her. His burning red eyes seemed to glow in the dark.
"Hello Shiloh I am the dark prince. Tonight we leave no survivors." He turned away from her, and with a flick of hius wrist a woman fell to the ground shredded as if she had been put through a giant paper shredder. The blood completely flooded the street now, and was seepin around the corner to where the auror hid. The girl had no idea that her presence had been realised, and how could she?
The young auror had no idea who she was up against. She had no idea that beyond the woman she was seeing stood the dark prince, and against him wordless wandless magic was the same as speaking the spells, and using a wand. Since he could hear her thoughts he knew what spells where coming , and when. She also had yet to see the basilisk. For all she knew it was only the one woman.
If it had only been Shiloh the young girl might have stood a chance, but against all three she was had a seriouse disadvantage. When the girl stepped out, and fired her spell at his accomplice the Basilisk struck out blocking the spell. Then the disguised Jack Riddle ran up the side of the wall jumping off landing on the back of the great snake glaring down at the girl with his burning red eyes.
A cruel cold laugh escaped the demented mans mouth. "Hello Ms. Weasley. I am so pleased to meet you finaly. I am the dark prince. The only child of Lord Voldemort. We nearly met this summer when I made a few of the amusement park rides go haywire. It is such a shame that you decided now to meet me. I had wished I wouldn't have to kill you. Then again I had promiced your sister that I would take away everyone she cared about."

Victoire jumped back a good two feet, seeing a gigantic snake block her spell. She frowned, what the hell? It could be a...a Basilisk, could it? The only known one in existence was kill over twenty years ago. Was there another one? Victoire glanced around the corner. Where the hell was everyone else? It certainly was taking them long enough to get here. It was clear that Victoire should not have jumped in. She should have waited for everyone else to show up.
Victoire flinched at the laugh. That had got to be the most horrid noise she had every heard in her life. What was worse, this person seemed to already know her. But, how was that possible? All the color was drained from her face. The rumors were true, there was a descendant of Voldemort. Vic clearly remembered the amusement park incident. She never did figure out who had done it. It had been minor, and there hadn't been an serious injuries. The case had been left open in the Ministry in case anything new came up. This was definitely new.
She hadn't been looking at this so called "dark prince" Victoire's eyes snapped up when she mentioned her sister. "M-my sister? What?" Vic frowned, confused. Dominique had never mentioned anything to her about this...who ever he was. Had Victoire known someone had threatened her sister, her family, she could have came after them with every spell in the book. Wait, he was going to kill her? Oh, hell no. She wasn't going to go down without a fight.
Victoire's first intial thought was Ted. Tears immediately came to her eyes. They had only just gotten back together, this time for good. Victoire wasn't ready to leave that behind. She couldn't leave him, not like this. It was suppose to be when they were old and had a bunch of kids, and like a million grandchildren. There was no way Ted would survive her death, and Victoire wouldn't survive without him. She frowned, gritting her teeth. Now wasn't the time to slink back, she had to be bold, brave. All her training was for a time like this, and she fully intended on using it.

It was somewhat late as EJ was heading toward her flat. It had been a long day. Heck, everyday was a long day. EJ sort of missed just being a regular old reporter, still searching for her break through story. Still, she had been on the front page, several times. All thanks to Jack Lestrange Riddle. Instantly, overnight EJ went from being another meaningless reporter to watching over his businesses, include the Prophet. It was a sudden change but, EJ didn't regret it. Her ambition led her here. Well, not here at this specific spot but, to where she was career wise.
EJ was simply walking home, in the same path she always took. She didn't expect anything out of the ordinary. After reaching the halfway point, EJ thought she heard screaming. She shook her head, thinking that she was only hearing things. It wasn't until she noticed every muggle she passed was looking the sky with perplexed expressions. In case it was anything story worth, EJ looked around, trying to find it what it was they were looking at. The sky was tinted green, and her eyes eventually found what had captured the muggles' curiosity. EJ immediately smirked. It looked like she was going to have another story for the papers.
Changing her direction, EJ headed toward the direction she thought the mark was coming from. For a few moments, she got a bit lost, taking a wrong turn. Eventually, she came up the right street because well, she nearly stepping in a stream of blood that was trickled down the sidewalk. This are new shoes! she cursed in her head, careful to step around the blood. Ew, wait, there's blood? EJ wasn't really a fan of the sight of blood. Oh yes, there definitely was story here.
EJ continued down the street, slowly. She looked around her, and nearly hurled watching a muggle shred into pieces, like paper. EJ had to put her hand over her mouth. This was way, way beyond what she thought it was. Scared for her own safety, EJ leaned against a building, trying not to heave. Oh, there was this gigantic snake too. She looked around, picking out key details. This was something she didn't have to right down, how could she forget this?
To take her mind off the smell of burning flesh that burned her nose, EJ began to look around for people - ones that were alive. She saw three moving figures nearly a block away. One, a dark haired woman, the second was a blond woman, and the third - well, she couldn't tell. He, or she, had dark robes on, and from her view she could get a good profile of that person. EJ panicked slightly, thinking she walked into something she probably shouldn't have. She was too frozen to the spot to move really, for once she felt true fear.
With a shakey hand, EJ reached in her coat pocket, and pulled out a small notepad and pen. She usually kept one handy with her at al times - you never know when news was going to happen. With an unsteady hand, she wrote out a few notes about the scene - the location, time of day, those sorts of things. EJ swallowed hard. Come on, you can deal with this, she told herself, mustered up some sort of courage to just ignore the fact that she was scared, and get the story.
After a few seconds, her methods of self encouragement seemingly worked, for now. Again, EJ looked at the snake. She had seen that before, but where? No, could it be? EJ glanced at it, and then back to her notepad. With a slight shake of her head she wrote down, 'dark mark' 'death eaters' and 'basilisk'. She would looked up the latter, just to double check her assumption. EJ suddenly frowned. There was only one wizard she knew to be capable of something like this - her boss. Well gee, that was awfully nice of him to say 'hey, i'm going on unleash hell in London' she thought bitterly to herself.
EJ's head began to fill with questions. Number one being, why? She watched intently, as the blond woman exchanged words with the cloaked figure. EJ wasn't close enough to hear the conversation. She took a few careful, quite steps closer. A muggle that was on fire was still screaming, which was blocking EJ's ability to hear. "Oh, shut up," she muttered. After only a few more seconds the burning - muggle she assumed - was quiet, dead.
Now, you may question why EJ wasn't doing anything to stop all this. There is an easy two part answer. First off, EJ wasn't an Auror so, she wouldn't even know what to do in the first place; second, if Jack was involved there was no stopping him. EJ preferred to stay alive, and not end up dead. She was smart enough to know not to cross her boss.
words; 856 tagesl everyone outfit; here comments; you can't have destruction without EJ getting the story first.
