Venitia was in her bed trying to sleep. She could not fall asleep for some reason. She twist and turned to make herself conformable but nothing was working. what was wrong? She usually fell asleep easily. What made her so uneasy. She laid straight now look at the ceiling. Oh how terrible it was to be awake at this time at night. She had heard the rain falling outside. It was such a lovely sound to hear but it did not help Venitia fall asleep. She sat up in her bed now rubbing her head. She got up and grab a book and went in the common room.
It was empty when she walked down . No sign of life anywhere. Venitia smiled at this. She had the whole room for herself to read in peace.She took a seat on the couch near the fire. She sat up and seat in pretzel style. she loved being by herself with no one around.It was no noise and no one to brother her. She was in dream land. She opened her book to the page she was on and stared to read. She really like the book she was reading because it was her ninth time reading it.
It was about a muggle and a wizard falling in love and the problems they faced. It kind of remind her of her father and mother. Her father came from high class purebloods and her mother came from muggles.Her father parents were not happy at all with her father so she never meet them before.They probably did not even know about her. She did not car but curiosity did run through her mind, of what they looked like.
Well anyway,she was reading and heard footsteps. She wondered who would be up this time like she was.She just kept her eyes on her book and did not brother to look up to see what fellow ravenclaw was coming.It did not matter to her anyway because she did not have lots of friends so it was probably someone she did not know.

Have you ever met a man that was so stubborn you just wanted to tear his eyes out? Kelsey sure has. That was the way that Kelsey felt towards her ever so dear father. He was so stubborn, old fashioned and just plain mean. Kelsey had just come from yet another one of her ever so famous meetings again. Of coarse, it was about the same thing that had been pestering her father ever since it happened. It was about her marriage with James. Her father did not approve of it in the tiniest way. He had been livid when Kelsey had told him that they had ran off and got married. Now, it seemed his new goal was to try and break it off. He had spent four hours trying to convince Kelsey to divorce James. Of coarse it never worked, but he still tried and it drove Kelsey insane.
Finally, at the wee hours of the morning, Kelsey was let out of her meeting with her father. If it was up to him Kelsey would still be sitting in that same chair hearing him go on and on about James. However, Kelsey had used the I have class tomorrow excuse and finally got out. As she walked alone through the vast empty castle, all that could be heard was the sound of her footsteps hitting the cold stone floor and the sound of her mumbles mocking her father. She really did hate walking in this castle alone at night. She never knew what would jump out at her. However, when she arrived at her common room door, she felt a certain safety wash over her.
"He is about the must stubborn, unfair man I have ever met!" Kelsey said to herself as she walked further into the common room. Kelsey thought she would be alone in here and would be able to let off some steam before going to bed. She began to talk to herself, speaking nothing but bad things about her father. She paced back and forth, going on a complete rampage. Then her eyes gazed around the common room and upon Venitia.
"Oh my! Venitia! I didn't think anyone was in here! I'm sorry," Kelsey said, slightly embarrassed that someone was here to witness her rampage. Kelsey walked over to where Venitia was sitting and sat down. Anger towards her father was still rushing over her but she knew she would have to contain it, for now. |

Venitia continue with her book, until,she heard talking.She was a bit confused because she had only heard one person not two.She looked up at the door way to see and saw it was Kelsey."Oh it is alright,I was just reading."She said closing her book."Are you alright?"She asked she had seen that Kelsey was upset,like anger upset. Venitia knew that Kelsey had problems with her dad but, she never knew why.
Venitia was always good at listening to peoples problems since she did not talk much at all.
