Scorpius laughed to himself bitterly as thoughts of the winter holidays came back to him. He had been hoping for peace, but with these rich pureblood families, peace was never something that took place. Especially with the Malfoy’s, and while most of them maintained their appearances of looking prim and proper, underneath was insanity. His mother, unaware of the consequences, was rooting for his permanent residence to be her house, and his controlling grandfather and father’s dispute would last forever and only grow larger. Not to mention Scorpius’ father, your everyday pedophile, had been getting just as close to Isabella as he had been. He had begun to think that the only rational member of his family was, despite her utter insanity, was Bellatrix. Obviously Scorpius would never call on his family for this – that would be disrespectful and Lucius would make sure this never occurred – which was why he sat upon one of the stools at the Hogshead consuming a glass of firewhisky and chuckling resentfully at the situation.
However, now was not the time to be mentally complaining about his family. Despite the fact that he was a deatheater, he was rather bored with the lack of destruction and killings taking place. He knew how important Kelsey LeBlanc was to Bellatrix and he understood why she found the idea of Kelsey joining the dark side appealing. And that was his task: to convince Kelsey to join them. He was unsure as to how he was going to do this seeing as Kelsey was married to James, the son of the heroically angelic Harry Potter. Obviously, because of that, convincing her would take some persuasion, and he wasn’t willing to put one of his friends under the Imperius curse.
He turned at the sound of another customer entering. He smirked; it was Kelsey. He was unsure as to what Kelsey would be doing here, but pushed this thought aside seeing as this would be a perfect opportunity. Smiling, the kind and cheerful façade possessing him, he placed his drink lightly upon the table. “Kelsey!” He called, signaling her to come over to him. [/color]

The worst was over, or so she thought. Her life could start to get back to normal, she hoped. Kelsey had been on edge for weeks about her father and James talking to each other. She was sure he was going to murder him. However, they talked, and no one was killed, to Kelsey's surprise. She had no clue what they talked about though. It would be a mystery to her as well as the rest of the world. At least her father did not kill her husband.
Kelsey needed to be alone. It seemed to her that everywhere she went there was always people with her. No matter where she was in the castle or at home, either her father or James was talking to her. Now Kelsey loved to have James with her, but just not every minute of the day. She needed her alone time to think on things and such. That is why she came to the ratty old bar before her. It was the only place she knew that would not be overrun by people. Hopefully no one she knew was there so that she could just sit back and relax. However, when she opened the door and heard her name being called, her heart sank.
"Hey Scorpius," Kelsey said in the best happy voice she could muster as she walked over to where he was sitting and sat down. its not that Kelsey did not want to see Scorpius. She really did want to talk to him since things between them ended so badly. It was just Kelsey was very confused at the moment about life. Kelsey had just gotten married to the boy who lived's child. Coming from a long line of Death Eater's, and with Bellatrix starting up the army again, Kelsey could feel herself being torn between the two sides. She had no clue where she stood in all of this. The right thing to do would be to join her husband on the good side, but there was that part of her, that deep dark part that wanted to join the Death eaters.

Kelsey and Scorpius, as children, had been best friends and Scorpius couldn’t have helped but develop feelings for her. That hadn’t worked out well, and Scorpius had known he would have to destroy his feelings for Kelsey. It had taken him a while but he had gotten over her and he knew it would be difficult for them to continue the way they once had as friends. They had at one point confided in each other and Scorpius hoped that that still applied.
Scorpius realized that it would be rather arbitrary if he admitted to Kelsey that he was working for Bellatrix. But he didn’t consider Kelsey to be an idiot – most people would assume he was on the dark side considering his father was Draco Malfoy and his grandfather was Lucius Malfoy. So, he wouldn’t repress the facts; at least the facts that could be told. However, it occurred to Scorpius as Kelsey walked in that she appeared to be trying a bit too hard to be happy. It made sense seeing as her life was the opposite of simple. Scorpius decided to take advantage of the opportunity. Perhaps, if Kelsey explained to him the difficulties she was going through, her confusion with the death eaters would be brought up.
Kelsey paced over to him and sat down. As she greeted him, her being perplexed lightly reflecting, he allowed for concern to touch his grey eyes. “Kelsey, I know you well enough to know that something must be wrong.” Scorpius stated in an attempt for her to tell him what was happening in her life. Was it true? Did Kelsey always have something bad going on in her life? Well, before this year her life was pretty normal. Of coarse aside from the fact that her parents hated her. She had learned to live with that. It just all started this year, right after she met Bellatrix Lestrange. After that encounter everything seemed to change. Kelsey and James had gotten into a fight, Kelsey became a lunatic, then she married James. Maybe Bellatrix had something to do with this? No that is ridiculous. Its not like Bellatrix was controlling her actions. That would be impossible.
Could Kelsey trust Scorpius with what she was thinking? Sure he was one of her best friends since she was little, hell he was probably her first friend. But his family were the living example of death eaters. What if he told them that she was thinking of not joining the death eaters? After all, she was raised to join them. That news would surely reach her parents and then her father would flip.
"Oh come on, am I that predictable?" Kelsey said in a fake shocked voice, laughing afterward. It felt good to laugh. Merlin knows Kelsey hadn't really had any real fun in ages. As life went on things just seemed to become more confusing for her. If only she had all the answers to life. If she did though, life would be boring.
"Well for your information Mr.Malfoy, nothing is wrong this time. I am just thinking about some stuff. I just need to clear my head. I have a lot of new decisions to make now, and it sucks," Kelsey said in a serious voice, her eyes moving to a near by window. She watched as a third year student laughed and fooled around with her friends. Oh how Kelsey wished she could go back to those simpler times where everything seemed so easy.
