ethan was alone in the forrest. he was scared and alone, as he looked around the dark and scary forrest... well to him it was scary, since he was only six years old. he looked around and heard noises and continued to him from them. he had emerel green eyes and black hair he wore a ripped green shirt and pants, that were very toren up, he had lost one of his shoe a while back and he called out for his mommy, who took him there and pointed too the huge castle and told him to go there and that he would be safer there. he was too scared to go there. he called out again"MOMMY!" again, there was no answer, only slience filled the cold air as he looked over at the huge and amazing looking castle that was the school of hogwarts that his mommy talked about alot.all he wanted was his mommy, but she said not to try and get people to look for her or go after her himself, because she wanted him to be safe. he couldnt go with his dad since he was dead, his dad had died before he was born. he was still too scared as he saw a figure move . he knew it wasnt his mommy so he hid in a really dark shadow, hoping, not to be seen as the figure came closer.

Alice look all around the school looking for her dear friends son, Ethan. She had received an owl a couple days ago telling that she need to take care of him for the time being. She was happy to take care of Ethan as long as needed to but the letter never told her way. It just told her to protect Ethan at all cost and she will. She wouldn’t mind having some company anyways since she just lost her fiancé a month ago and now was pregnant with his child.
She finally decided that Ethan probably went outside to go play or something. So she put her coat on and went outside. She walk toward the forest since she figure if she was a child she would play they. She look around and finally spotted him hiding. "Its okay sweetie, I'm Aunty Alice. You mom told me to come and get you." She walked closer to the young frighten child. "It’s okay. I won't hurt you." She hold out her hand so he can take it. “I promise you mom that I would watch you.” She said smiling.

ethan looked at her and slowly reached for her hand, then heard somthing scarey and took off running into the forrest. while he was running, he tripped over a root and fell. he stayed on the ground in a sitting position scared of everything around him in the dark forrest. he shaked as he looked around , scared.

Alice was smiled as the kid reached for her hand but he ran off. She didn't understand what made him so scared in the first. She started walking toward the Ethan and saw him on the ground sitting. She jogged toward the boys and put her arms around him. She hold him tight so he wouldn't be able to get away from her. "Honey, what’s wrong?" She said smoothing his hair and put him on her lap. She could feel him shaking. "Sweetie lets go inside Hogwarts and get you something warm to eat. How does that sound?" She smiled at the Ethan. “and we can get you some cookies and some new clothes.”
She didn’t have no idea what’s happening but if this poor boy is scared to death. It wasn’t something good. She wished the letter explain more but didn’t. She did however promised her friend that she will look out for her son, no matter what. “Come on sweetie lets go inside.” She took him off her lap and stood up and grabbed his hand before he could run off again scared.

ethan calmed down as he held her hand with one hand and he held onto the part of the that had his mommy and daddy's wedding rings on it." he looked up at her and said"where's mommy?" he was scared of everything. when they entered hogwarts he was amazed at how big and pretty everything was. he looked around and saw a moving painting and looked at her and asked"how is the painting moving like that?"

"I honestly don't know, Ethan but i promise that her i will take care of you. So don't worry about nothing okay." She said smiling down at him. She look at the pictures. "By magic." She said smiling. "You see this castle is home to hundred of witches and wizards and when your old enough you will be coming here." She said pick him up. "Watch this." She took out her wand and did a spell to turn her coat into shoes. "Isn't that cool." She said raffling his hair.
She lead him to the kitchen and said hi to the house elves. She ask the house elves for some warm food and milk for him. "Ethan did you mommy tell you anything to tell me?" She ask.

ethan smiled as he watched her do a spell that turned her coat into a pair of shoes on him. when they got to the kitchen, he watched the elves work, then he looked at her and answered her question by handing her a letter that said" Dear Alice, i'm ssorry my last letter didn't explain why. i'm being followed by some death eaters and i may not be alive when you get this letter, if you need to be sure check ethan's memory, use my wedding ring, it's around his neck and it's a mini penvise. please tell him that i love him and please tell him if i'm alive or not, he needs to know the truth" ethan watched her.

Alice grab the letter and read it. She felt her tears forming. She hug Ethan. She couldn't believe this young child had to go through hard stuff. She said thanks to the house elves as they gave Ethan his food. "How do you like it?" She asked. She was going to check his memory after he had a good night rest. "Honey can you give me the ring." She said holding out her hand.
"You momma said she love so much." She said smiling. She didn't want to break the kids heart. No child so live with out a mother. She put her hand on her stomach. She prayed that she will always be here for her child and Ethan.

ethan nodded and smiled as he said"yes i do, thank you" he smiled as he ate his food. he was happy that he was safe now. " how did you meet my mommy?" he asked in a curious vioce. as he finished his food he started to get sleepy. he moved closer to her as he looked up at her.

"Well i meet her here. We went to school together and she even sat in the same place your sitting in." Alice said while picking him up and putting him in her lap. "We were the best of friends. We even come down here to get late night snacks and talk to the house elves." She said. "She's the one that taught me that tick i showed you earlier." She said smiling. "and other tricks too but its getting late and a growing boy needs he's sleep." She said standing up. "The last I carried you was when you where a baby." She said smiling at him. “I think you got a little taller since then.” She said.

ethan smiled and said" did you know my daddy? what was my daddy like?" he never knew his daddy so he wanted to know as much as he could. he put his arms around her with a smile. he smiled as he watched the elves for a moment or two before he looked at her.

"I knew your father." Alice said smiling at Ethan. "He was sweet, kind, and a brave man. He was also one of my good friends." She said thinking back. "You starting to look like your father." She raffle his hair. "and he was good around the ladies but you don't like girls right." She ask laughing. She didn't need Ethan charming all her female students with his innocent looks.
She needed to know what happen to her best friend but Ethan was to weak for that. She need to at least give him a good night rest before she go through in his memories.

"He was great and I think its way past you bed time." She said lightly. "Boys your age needs a good night sleep or else you can't play all day tomorrow." She said. "and I’m sure you want to play all day tomorrow and drive me crazy, right." She said laughing.
She climb up the stairs to her quarters. Her house wasn't finish yet so she had to stay at Hogwarts. She did have a decent one room apartment and it had room enough for two people but she needed more rooms. She open the door and put Ethan down. "You can look around while I look for some clothes for you and make your bed." She walk into her room and started digging for some clothes.

ethan smiled and went and looked around close by alice. he looked at the books and saw one about dragons and went over to alice and showed alice. he had his father's curiously about dragons and all magical creatures. he smiled as he looked at her.
