Aurora was excited about this... the Christmas dance.. she was going with Dougie as their relationship had been back on for a while. She had styles her now blonde hair into light curls, her dress was a gorgeous dark blue. Many people thought it would have washed her out but in the end the dress suited her complexion and went well with her eyes. She waited for Dougie to arrive. Dress: Her dress xNotes: Awwww xx <3 |

Dougie wasn't really excited, more nervous. He was a guy, he didn't get excited about girly things like this. If it was up to him, he wouldn't have a ball. Nervousness and fear was engulfing him completely. He should just get someone to go and say he wasn't coming, but that would mean upsetting Aurora again and since they'd only just got back together, that was something he wasn't prepared to do. "How do I look?" He asked his best friend Asher. He got told he looked very smart. "Is that a good thing?" Dougie muttered, ringing his hands together. He picked up his rose he'd bought for her, then headed out the Gryffindor Common Room. He arrived at the Grand Oak Doors, the first person and thing he saw was Aurora. And all his nervousness washed away. Just like that. In that split second, he knew this was going to be a night to remember. He smiled, and tapped her on the shoulder. "You look beautiful." He handed her the rose. "So beautiful." T H E O U T F I T ! |

Rory had been stood waiting for a while, actually wondering if Dougie was going to turn up at all. She knew of course that Dances were not Dougies thing but she thought this could be something that they would do together to symbolise that they were back together. She looked around and eventually let out a sigh... she looked down as other girls and dates were leaving and she was left standing there. She then felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to face Dougie. "You made it" she said and smiled. "Your suit is very sexy by the way" she said to him.

"You made it!" Dougie smiled. "I did. I wouldn't have, but you were my motivation.
"Your suit is very sexy by the way." Doug smiled, then laughed, "That was kind of the point. I must look my best for the most pretty girl in the school." He smiled gently, his grey eyes sparkling, "Speaking of the most pretty girl in the school ..." He grabbed her hands and pulled her closer to his body, "Would she care to dance?" Without waiting for her answer, he pulled her to the middle of the floor as a slow song filled the room.
He smiled her gently. "Are you happy, Aurora? That's my priority."

"I would love to dance" she said as she held onto his hands, being pulled towards the dancefloor. Muggle music was currently playing... as a pureblood she didn't really have any links with the muggle world but she did enjoy their music. She put her arms around his neck softly and began to dance with him. She looked into his eyes.

He pulled her even closer, putting his arms around her waist. And when she looked into his eyes, he felt like they were the only couple in the room. He smiled a gentle smile.
"I love you, Aurora. I always have." he whispered. And so he continued dancing. He couldn't imagine a more romanric place. He brushed his lips against hers.
