Danniyelle felt as relieved as ever. She was finally free from those girls once again. It was times like this she wondered why she even hung out with them - but then she'd got so used to this routine she found it hard to quit. She kicked off her shoes and paddled her bare feet in the lake. It was quite soothing really, it took all her stresses away and let Danniyelle forget all about them. She thought about why she was here, and it was to get away from that giggly group. Many people had told her to tell them she was sorry but she wanted to leave, but just because they were giggly and annoying, didn't mean they had no feelings. Danniyelle knew if she told them what she'd been feeling the past few days, they'd go beserk. She sighed as she relooked over her options, which where quit or stay. 'Why does it have to be so complicated?' she sighed again to herself. She flopped on the ground, and saw someone coming towards her. Attachments:

The school term had really taken a toll on Anne this year. She had heard that seventh year was going to be a nightmare with homework and preparation for N.E.W.T.s, but she was far from prepared for it all. Now she could only be thankful for a break. The term was coming to a close, and there was very little time left for coursework before winter break. For the kind professors they were as good as released, but there were still a few classes that demanded a student’s attention until the last possible moment. Her course load had lightened enough to find time for a break, at last, and she took the opportunity to get outside and meet with the last rays of sunshine for the year.
Dressed in grey sweats, a black tank top, and trainers Anne was not at the height of fashion, but equipped for a jog. Rounding the perimeter of the grounds, Anne started along the shores of the lake; sweat finally starting to break on her forehead. As her legs pumped, her eyes surveyed ahead to fixate on a schoolmate with flowing blonde hair. Though she was not exactly an acquaintance, in fact with the age difference they had never spoken before, Anne recognized her. It was unusual to see her without her group of happy, loud friends. At a glance, Anne could not assess if this was a good or bad thing, but it was clear that Danniyelle, as she recalled her name to be, was aware of Anne approaching her.
Slowing her pace, Anne approached at a walk for the last few steps. She remained standing over the young woman, propping her hands up on her hips and grinning through her heavy breathing. “Out here all alone, are ya?” She asked, her Scottish accent adopting mild surprise.

AJ looked upside down, but Danniyelle could tell she was grinning. She swung her legs out of the lake. “Out here all alone, are ya?” Danni knew what that meant. "Why am I not here with my loud group?" She put it into words. "Well, I don't ..." She looked round. "Don't tell, right? Don't really like 'em." She shrugged. "How are you?" She tried to change the subject by making polite converse. Danniyelle didn't like speaking about something she saw as a problem with people she'd only just met, but she was so desperate for more opinions on the matter she wasn't all that bothered if AJ continued to talk about the Gigglers of the Century. She hugged her knees, smiling and waiting for an answer.

As the adrenaline from her run began to ebb away, AJ sniffed slightly from the cold that was becoming evident again. It was easier to ignore when you were moving. As such, she was slightly surprised that Danni dared to emerge her feet in the cold lake water. To each their own, though. She was sure she had some reason. People often did find some necessity to do odd things.
Her brows went up in surprise when Danni made her privy to the fact that she was not fond of her obnoxious friends, and it did occur to her that the blonde before her had never really seemed quite as loud as the rest. Now, Anne was not one for gossip, but she did find it rather surprising that she would hang out with a group of people she didn’t like. This coming from the girl who was a different person with each group or person she came across. “Me, I’m great. Nothing like coming out here to feel alive.” She said energetically, feeling rejuvenated as she took a deep breath. She continued, “You know, I won’t tell anyone, if you’ve got something on your mind.” She really doubted that anything Danni could tell her would be something she would be jumping out of her seat to run and tell someone about. Just the same, she did not sit down on the chance Danni dismissed her and she would soon find herself continuing on.

Aa, sorry I've not replied!!
IC- “You know, I won’t tell anyone, if you’ve got something on your mind.” Danni nodded, she knew she could trust AJ. "What," Danniyelle began, "would you do if you wanted to leave ... your group of friends but you had no idea wehre to start...?" Danni had pretty much said everything she'd needed to say.

[ah, it's okay. I was swamped up til now with posts anyway.]
Though Anne could understand Danni’s position with her friends, the desire to escape from friends was not something that she had ever experienced. Like a chameleon, she could adapt to her surroundings and become one of the gang with nearly anyone. It was something that made people suspect her for being terribly fake, and they were right. Even if she was sincere in her interests and conversations, it was an attribute to cover up who she really was. That she could identify with whole-heartedly, and she presumed that might just be what the younger Hufflepuff was going through. Considering the reputation of her house, Anne imagined that there was a lot of pressure to be the overly social type.
Taking her engaging comment as an invitation now, Anne sat next to her. Her knees were pulled up to keep her trainers away from the water and she conceded, “That’s a toughie. I couldn’t imagine leaving my friends.” Not a whole lot of help, but typically people just wanted to be listened to rather than given any particular advice. “Why do you think you need to leave yours?”

“Why do you think you need to leave yours?” "I just don't feel the friendship connection anymore. I've got ... better friends now." Danniyelle nodded. "But, they're still people. I don't want to hurt thier feelings." She said shyly. "Let's just leave this. What were you doing before you saw me?" She asked randomly, trying to divert the subject away from herself. She, although somewhat on the popular side, hated going on and on about herself, and the more she spoke about her problems the more she felt like they were scarily real. She wished it wasn't like this forever, her on the verge of leaving her friends and feeling jumpy all the time.
