It was going to be a night to remember for sure. Sirius and Kelsey had not told anyone at all that they had run off to get married just recently and he was kind of nervous about telling anyone that. Not that he was not ecstatic about it or anything, its just it was still hitting him that he was a married man. They were Mr. and Mrs. James Sirius Potter. How weird of a thought was that? Just weird enough but it still made him happy every time to think of it. Being with her was the greatest time of his life and every second he was with her was amazing. But right now he was not with her, he was getting ready for the Christmas Ball. He wondered curiously weather or not his parents and siblings would be there, and he figured it was rather likely that they might be. Well, he might as well tell them all at once, so hopefully they did show up tonight. Sirius pulled on a pair of nice white pants and a white button up shirt and his trainers. He looked decent and he did not feel like getting all dressed up for this. He would much rather be wearing a black shirt or a dark red one, with jeans or black pants, he hated to wear white clothes. He always wore black, blue, red, anything other than white. It got dirty to easily and he couldn't stand that. Now that he was dressed he looked in the mirror and took a look at his messy dark brown hair. He took a comb to it in attempt to make it look nice, but just like his father, his hair never quite sat down. It settled a little more than his dad's did, but not much. Oh well, this seemed to be as good as it was going to get. He hoped that Kelsey did not mind that he did not dress that nice, and he had his leather jacket on top of his white shirt. Hopefully that did not matter considering the jacket was black. During winter, he did not leave without it. Ever. All that was left was to go down to the ball, and wait around for Kelsey. Sirius could not wait until they were out of school for the year, he would save up all sorts of money and they could move in together. Then he would never have to go time without seeing her! Except for the following school year, when she was in school, and he was out working. Hopefully his job would be a professional Quidditch player, which has been his dream for as long as he could remember. And lord knows that would pay more than enough for the two of them to live off of. Thinking about the following school year made him sad, and nervous all at once. He would not be around, and any guy could try to get with her while he was not there. Not that he worried about her doing anything, but he did not like the ideas of other guys trying. But that was a worry for another day and another time completely. Tonight was the Christmas Ball, and he was determined to make it a great night for Kelsey. He had a single rose for her, and when he got to the ball, he kept it half behind him so she would not see it when she came up. Sirius was always good with gestures like that, he wanted to make her feel like the only thing that mattered. Because she was. Now, all he had to do was be patient and wait for her to get there... Too late for second-guessing ------------------ Tonight was the night that they announced to the world of their marriage. Kelsey was well nervous about this. She had already told her father and that didn't turn out so well. She was sure that he wanted to murder James. It was to her luck that she managed to keep him and James far away from each other. She knew, however, her father would be here tonight, and things would go down. She had also told Alyson about her marriage, and for some reason, Draco and Scorpius Malfoy knew about it. They knew everything though. Kelsey hoped with all over her might that this night would be not a disaster.
With a nervous look on her face, Kelsey stood outside the Ball, thinking about whether or not she should go in. She was scared about what would happen. Hopefully her father wouldn't come and this night wouldn't be a disaster. Kelsey finally gained the courage to open the doors and enter. Her eyes scanned the area of the room, looking for her husband. Kelsey held her hands in front of her as she stood in her white floor length dress. Her read hair was for once tied back in an updo. White really did flatter her. She looked like an angel as she stood in spot, searching the room. Finally her eyes landed upon whom she was seeking, a smile flourishing on her pale face. She practically ran to James, embracing him in a hug when she arrived where he was standing.
"I missed you so much," Kelsey said with a smile as she broke from the hug to look him in the eyes. She loved everything about this man so much. How could she possibly deserve such an amazing man like James? The faiths must favor her in some way, that was for sure. Kelsey looked around the room again, noting much to her excitement that her father was not here. This was indeed a good sign on her behalf, that was for sure. words?! around 385 tag?! Robert had made his speech for the day, at the feast. He did his Headmaster duties, reminding all students that there was no drinking allowed in the after parties he knew would happened. This included student who were of age. He told them not to try, he'd find out. He wished that he didn't have to go. Robert just wanted to shut himself in his office, drink on his own. Drinking was something Robert was getting very used to. He was getting himself very well acquainted with a guy named Jack and a Captain - two muggle alcohols he enjoyed very much.
Why was Hogwarts' Headmaster dipping into a sea of alcohol? Well, easy - his daughter. Robert didn't solely blame Kelsey for it, he only had himself to blame. Years of neglecting your child catches up with you. The most recent blow, to both his ego and heart, was Kelsey's announcement of her marriage to James Potter. There were three things wrong with that. One, Kelsey and James were both just too young to understand what marriage really was. Two, Robert was left in the dark about it. Three, he had lost Kelsey forever. His hopes of fixing his relationship with his only daughter had been crushed by the news. Why? Robert missed out on one of the biggest days of her life. He thought he had had time to fix things, so he could be there to walk her down the aisle. Now, all he could do was drill glares of death at James Potter every time he say the boy. Oh, and to top it off - Robert knew something about his daughter a father never wishes to her - that three letter word with the letters, x s e - not in that order.
Robert thought that taking the position as Headmaster would put in him a better position to fix his relationship with his family. That seemed to be failing horribly, and Robert was starting to hate this job. He was considering resigning after this year was over.
Robert was definitely not in the partying mood. Drinking mood, yes but, not a happy party mood. He would make his appearance and simply supervise - bore holes into the back Potters head. Robert stood near the entrance of the ballroom, greeting students as they entered. This night was going to be hell. That's what kept going through his mind.
It didn't take long for Robert to catch sight of the newlyweds. He wanted to strode over to them and rip them apart, and then rip apart James, and set him in fire so there really wasn't any scrap of him left. There was, however, something that stopped him from doing this at all. Okay, actually two - Robert didn't want to spend the rest of his days in Azkaban. No thank you. What really stopped him was Kelsey. She looked so....beautiful. Robert felt a pang in his heart - it was a pain that was growing all too familiar for him. It was always the same intensity, it never dulled, sharp as a thousand knives. Robert sighed, she looked happy. He clenched his jaw, gave James a glare, and then turned to more student arrivals. Robert had no idea that Kelsey and James planned on announcing their marriage to everyone tonight.

Unfortunately, Albus was forced to wear dress robes for the Christmas Ball, by his parents, of course. Normally, he wouldn't care, but he despised dress robes, because of the fact that it gave many people a reason to tease him, because he was the 'younger Potter boy'. He arrived before his parents did, only because he had tricked them into thinking he was still getting ready. Albus only wanted a few moments without his parents at the Ball. As he walked in through the main entrance, he caught sight of the Headmaster, and steered his way towards him.
"Hello, Professor," he said, cheerfully, trying, terribly to 'lighten the mood', for he knew of the Headmaster's dislike for James. However, he did not not the deep reasons behind it, "lovely evening, isn't it?" he asked, tracing his gaze over to James and Kelsey, with a grimace. If those two didn't show their love for each other so openly, maybe Kelsey's father wouldn't be so angry. Still, Albus had to objection to them pairing up. It was normal to fall in love. Maybe the Headmaster didn't know what love was. Albus let these thoughts run through his head, but didn't dare speak them out loud.

Robert had two options. One, accept his daughter's happiness with...him or not accept it. Robert knew of at least one thing he had to do. He may have missed out on the wedding part, something he probably wouldn't ever let go, but he wasn't going to miss out on this part. Even if it killed him on the inside, Robert was going to have a dance with Kelsey. It as the only thing he had left he could do. The actually wedding ceremony was done, complete. True, it was torturing him that he missed it but, the father-daughter dance, that he could do. Tonight. He would, too. It was something no one would deny him of, if they knew what was good for them.
Robert heard a voice near him. Tearing himself away from Kelsey and James again, Robert's dark eyes landed on the other Potter. The one he could tolerate, somewhat. "Potter," he greeted in a low voice. Robert held in a snort. Lovely evening my arse. For Robert, this was an evening from Hell. "Yes, it is lovely, isn't it?" he replied, trying to smile. It looked more like a grimace than a smile. "Tell me, do you parents know?" Robert had to assume that the younger Potter boy knew about the elopement of the elder Potter. Whether he liked it or no, Robert was related to the Potter's - strictly by marriage. It was revolting in his mind, only because there had been no proper courtship. It all came tumbling down on him. Now, Robert was suffocating, he was washed over with anger, grief, and regret.

Anton couldn't believe that he was actually going to the Christmas Ball, let alone, by himself. It shouldn't have been that big of a deal, apart from the fact that his parents were going to be there. His father had some sort of expectations for dances, to have a date. But Anton didn't really care, there was going to be something else to take his father's mind off of his dateless son. His sister, kelsey, had tried to keep her marriage a secret, and even neglected to tell Anton. He found out soon enough by hearing a conversation between the two Malfoy brothers. It was late at night and he was headed to bed, so he didn't think much of it. But when the same conversation was heard between the eldest Malfoy and Alyson, he knew something was up. Weird looks were shot his way constantly, but he refused to talk to Kelsey, or anyone in the family for that matter. Anton finally got confirmation during a conversation with his father and he was absolutely livid at the fact that Kelsey had run off and gotten married. Especially to Potter. Now everyone would know of the LeBlanc's, and how the middle child got married to James Potter. It hadn't really bothered Anton, until he constantly saw them in the halls hugging like they hadn't seen each other for a year. Love must be a pretty strong thing, either that or his little sister was horny. Another thing that he refused to think about. Potter better not be doing anything with his sister, or at least that. If he found out about it, he'd probably kill him. Typical brother, eh?
He tightened his tie around his neck and stepped into his dress shoes. He refused to wear his dress robes, the request of his mother. Anton wore an entirely black suit, no other color. He wanted to fade into the background until the after parties, which he was sure would be held. That would be the best part of the night, and since the headmaster was his father, how could he get into trouble for drinking? His dad had given a speech earlier in the day about how there was to be no alcohol, even for children of age, which included Anton. He just laughed it off, he knew that his father wouldn't ever enforce the rule. Or at least hoped.
He walked out of the common room and up through the dungeons. The Ball had already begun, as all the girls had rushed out of their dorms and up to the main hall, where they could then travel out to the Ball Room. This was another unusual thing on Anton's part. Usually he went home for the holidays, but lately he hadn't wanted to be around them. Too much drama. So when the time came to go home for the holidays, he opted out and stayed in the calm and relaxing halls of Hogwarts. Once in the hall, he walked to the main doors. Most students he knew were traveling by floo powder, but, being of age had its perks and that meant he could apparate. Making sure he was off school grounds, he apparated with a large crack and was standing in front of the Ball Room. He pushed through the doors and instantly saw his father. Next to him stood Albus Potter, the younger of the Potter boys. He walked over to them and made a small attempt at friendliness towards his dad. "Hello, dad." He then stood there, not really paying attention to him or Potter, but looked around the room, spotting Kelsey and James. He decided that it might be best to talk to them, and get to his father later.
Anton then made his way over to Kelsey and Potter. "Hey you two." It was somewhat awkward, just because they looked content by themselves. However much his dad hated the marriage, Anton was neutral. It hadn't really affected him that much, so for now he would be friendly. Plus he had missed so much of Kelsey's life lately, that he felt bad for not being a proper big brother. This night was going to be full of something. And it wasn't relaxing fun.

Too late to go back to sleep ------------------ As Kelsey stood there looking into James' eyes, she felt as thought time had stopped. Who knew that love could be such a powerful thing? After all, she did risk everything in her life to marry the boy standing in front of her. Her risks were greater than this, having a now very over protective father and brother. She made many people angry over this marriage, that was for sure. But was this act of love also an act of selfishness? After all, she was only thinking of her feelings going into this. She had denied many people in her life the opportunity to witness her marriage. She never got to be walked down the isle by her father or have that first dance as husband and wife. There was no huge reception like she had dreamed about when she was a little girl. She was happy that she was married, there was no denying that but was eloping the best way to do it. Her father would never ever let her marry a Potter on his own free will, so maybe eloping was their only choice.
Kelsey broke her thoughts and gaze when she heard more people entering the room. Then, her eyes fell upon the man she hoped with all her heart wouldn't show up. There was her father, staring at them. Kelsey quickly looked away, fear and panic washing over her. He would come over here, that was a fact. She gazed back over to see James' brother Albus talking to her father. Good, he was distracted, they could make a clean exit without her father following. Just as she was about to leave and drag James along, her plans were ruined by her brother as he walked over towards them and began to talk. She would have to come up with some other plan to escape.
"Hey Anton! How are you? " Kelsey said with a loving smile towards her brother. She gazed back over to her father and then to the door. It was like she was running for her life or something. She knew that if her father got near James things would end terribly. As she stood there, all her memories of pretending to be a spy when she was little came flooding back to her. It was mission impossible.
"Have you talked to father today? Does he sound angry? Should I be running for my life right about now?" Kelsey asked Anton in a low quick voice. She could feel the moments passing her by, each of them daring to be her last. Would her father go insane and kill them all? He did have a temper on him after all. Kelsey's heart was beating about a million beats per second. words?! 467 tag?! James, Robert, Anton, and Albus! outfit?! click here! lyrics?! Defying Gravity - Wicked credit?! moiiiii! =] [/sup]

"Hey Anton! How are you?"
"I am extremely well. How are you?" His enthusiasm was fake. In all truth, he was exhausted more than he had ever been. He had taken up extra Quidditch practices trying to regain his Beater position. All of which had not helped him in the least. The stress of his family situation didn't help either. He had barely talked to any of them and prefered it that way. Most of the time his parents were trying to force him onto one side or the other of every single argument that took place. In all reality, he really just wanted to stay neutral. None of the issues involved him, so there was no reason to get involved. As for the secret wedding, he had absolutely no objection. Weddings weren't his thing, so the secrecy saved him a day in a suit. His father, however had a completely different view. Anton knew that he was just hurt because he'd never be able to walk his only daughter down the aisle, no dance at the reception. It mostly hurt his feelings. Standing there with Kelsey and James reinforced his opinion. The two together were perfect. The love poured off of them and everyone in the room could tell that these two would be together forever. There was no reason to keep them apart.
"Have you talked to father today? Does he sound angry? Should I be running for my life right about now?"
"Kels, just relax. It will be fine." Wow, he really just called her Kels. Most the time it was just Kelsey and nothing else. He was a very formal person, so it was unusual for him to use nicknames. "He won't do anything, so long as i am here." He flashed a reassuring grin and reached to shake James' hand. Ever since the beginning of term, when he ran into kelsey in Hogsmeade, he had taken her side. Neglecting to voice his opinion on purpose, as to make sure to maintain his neutrality. His father had even gotten on his nerves once or twice. Or actually more than that. Anton knew that the only reason his dad took the position of headmaster, was to watch his children and make sure they were doing what they were supposed to be doing. Although, in Anton's opinion, he was failing miserably. And if his dad honestly thought that taking the job would bring the family closer together, he was sadly mistaken. What teenage kid wanted his dad to be the headmaster at the school he or she went to? Thank god that Anton rarely got in trouble, because it would be hard to take his father's punishments seriously. If his dad even attempted to cause a scene tonight, Anton would make sure that it was the last thing he did to hurt someone in the family. There was no way in hell that Robert LeBlanc would break apart the newly weds, or embarrass the family in front of all their friends. Anton was also absolutely sure that if it came to it, he could hold off his dad long enough for Kelsey and James to run off to freedom. The backlash would be worth it, it would finally be Anton's chance to prove himself to his father and stand up for his own opinion.

Its time to trust my instincts ------------------ Kelsey had to try and relax. She knew things would not be resolved by her overreacting. However, she couldn't help being scared and paranoid. Her father was capable of anything at all. To be honest, Kelsey wouldn't be all that surprised if he had killed a person before. It would be in his character, that was for sure. Why was Kelsey so scared of her father? Well, it was because he bottled up his emotions. He would never show them to anyone. No crying, nothing. Kelsey knew that that was not the best thing to do. Inside that man was a wall of emotions waiting to burst out and cause chaos. One little thing would send him over the edge at any moment, and Kelsey was worried that James would be the one little thing.
"Oh I am fine, just you know, freaking out," Kelsey said in a worried tone yet again. She kept peaking glances at her father, making sure that he did not move from his spot. The slightest movement towards them from him would send Kelsey running to the door, dragging James behind her. She had her wand tucked safely in her dress, ready to whip it out at any moment. Beads of sweat rolled from her forehead as she stood in front of Anton. Never had she been this nervous and scared before in her life. This whole experience was so traumatizing to her.
"Relax?! You want me to relax?! I have been spending the better part of a month trying to make sure that these two were not of seeing distance of each other. And now here they are, in the same room. Here is my husband in the same room as my overprotective father who will most likely murder him for deflowering then marrying his daughter! Hell, he might just skip James here and kill me!" Kelsey said in a panicked voice, her worrying getting the better of her. Her breathing was very rapid as she stood there frozen, looking at her brother like she was about to cry. Maybe coming here was a huge mistake on her part.
"Thanks for being so protective. You can fight the crazy beast off while I run for my life!" Kelsey said, smiling at her brother. He never really showed this side towards Kelsey. It was a nice change from the whole not talking thing they used to do. Maybe her father would just not do anything tonight and let them be. Maybe she was worrying for nothing. No, that was not it. Kelsey knew Robert LeBlanc. She knew he would not go down without a fight. words?! 442 tag?! James, Robert, Anton, and Albus! outfit?! click here! lyrics?! Here is my husband in the same room as my overprotective father who will most likely murder him for deflowering then marrying his daughter! Hell, he might just skip James here and kill me!"
Anton let his sister freak out. It was sort of funny, her flipping out. She was the one that caused all of it, and now she's the one all worried that their dad is going to kill her and James. It wouldn't happen, so long as Anton was there. His dad wouldn't attack his little girl either. Or he at least hoped he wouldn't. Then anton caught something he didn't like. "Wait a minute... Did you just say 'deflowered'?" He couldn't believe the two had already done the nasty! He knew they were married and that's what married people did, but come on, she's only 16! Why didn't she tell him no. Wait, he thought before that she was just really horny. That's it. She just wants James because she's a total horn dog and so is he. Anton forced those thoughts out of his head, otherwise, he would have killed himself. Nasty, nasty, nasty. "You," points at James "better not be having a kid this young. Yeah, you two are married, but you're still young. And kids would just complicate it all. I think you would prefer me telling you this than daddy over there. He would have strangled James here if he found out that you were deflowered." He wanted to change the subject quickly.
"Thanks for being so protective. You can fight the crazy beast off while I run for my life!"
"Sure, no problem," he said grinning. "Although, i don't know how long i could hold him off, you know him and his temper. So you had better run fast." He laughed and then turned around to make sure his father's feet were still planted in the same spot. The more that they talked about the explosion that was going to come from their father, the more that Anton thought it was going to happen. Robert LeBlanc had a temper on him more than anyone Anton had ever known, and his fuse was shorter than a firecracker. He knew better than to cause his father to do anything harsh, so most of the time, Anton just stayed away from him. The only person that could get a tiny hold on Robert was his wife. And since Anton hadn't seen her yet, he assumed she wasn't coming. Maybe Kelsey was right, they should leave really soon.

The daughter's father watches, quietly we assume He's not longer with us but he left this dusty room In your name and it’s an honor, it’s a shame but it’s your honor Take it on your shoulder til you can find another - - - - - - - - - - Robert nodded in greeting to his eldest son, Anton. He wasn't trusting himself to open his mouth at the moment. Robert ignored the Potter boy and watched Anton walk over and chat with the newly weds. He clenched his jaw and turned away. Ignorance would work long enough for this night to end, right? Robert would at least trick himself into thinking that, so long as he could manage.
Robert had no idea of the contents of the trios conversation. He wasn't looking. He just kept greeting people at the door. This royally sucked. Abandoning his post at the door, Robert walked past the little "family" group and didn't even look at them. He kept his jaw and hands clenched. He was on a mission to get a stiff drink. It's what he needed at the moment.
Robert hated feeling this unending pain. He didn't deal well with emotions, especially his own. He didn't think it was possible to feel like he did. Looking on the past, he saw the error in his search for power. He had abadoned his family, lied to them. He killed the most important thing to him. Now, they were just paying him back. Robert knew he desereved it. Hell, he deserved to just be left alone. Maybe if he just seperated himself, they would all be happier. It was obvious to him they were just fine without him. Why keep trying?
Robert sat down at a small table. He got himself some good old meade. It would suffice until he returned to his room. Rob shot a short glance at Kelsey, feeling another pang in his heart. He snorted to himself a looked away, taking deep drinks of his meade in self loathing.

Little miss Roula Potter stumbled out of bed that evening, staring at herself in the mirror. Oh, what the bloody hell was she going to wear!? She had absolutely nothing... Oh, whatever, she'd think of something. She walked over to her dresser and pulled the drawers out. She pulled out a knee-length, peach dress. Peach was one of her most favorite colors of all time. She pulled out nice, peach dress shoes as well. She put them on and drew out her jewelery drawer. The second year wasn't much of a jewelery person. She quickly put on a pair of earring that matched her set, with a bracelet go along with it. She sprayed some perfume against her neck, took one last glance at herself in the mirror, then ran out of the Gryffindor common room.
She had been told before that James wanted to tell the family something. It might be good, she thought. She wasn't completely concerned. She hoped it wasn't too bad. James was a troublemaker after all, though. She ran down the moving staircase, almost stumbling, but caught her grip by clutching onto the railing. She sighed. She was a terribly klutz. She ran towards where the ball was. She walked into the ball peacefully, sighing, looking around the place. The place looked amazingly beautiful. She softly smiled, catching the sight of her brother, Albus. But then her eyes caught James and his girlfriend, Kelsey. She was never really fond of her. Never really liked her. She peacefully strolled over to where Albus stood. "Hello Albus," She said, tenderly. Her green eyes moved towards James and Kelsey, and some other person. She strolled over to her eldest. "Evening James.." Her eyes silently darted towards Kelsey. "Kelsey." She said stiffly. She then glanced over at the tall person. She nodded once, then glanced back at James. "Long time no talk." She said, with a hint of venom in her voice.

The minute Kelsey arrived at the Ball, Sirius caught sight of her. How could he not? She looked amazing in her white ball gown, with her hair all done up. How he had managed to come across such a perfect girl, with all his faults, was beyond him. But he still thanked God every day that he had. If he was not married to her, if he had not fallen in love with her, he would probably still be bouncing around from girl to girl, and he would be a lot worse off. He has been so much happier since he got together with her and now that they were married, no matter how young they were, he knew his happiness would last. As soon as she spotted him she came practically running over to him and his smile grew to the point when it looked too big for his face. She immediately embraced him in a hug and he put his arms around her as well, never wanting to let go for as long as he lived. He never thought he would feel that way about a single girl, and definitely not when he was still this young. Going off and marrying her was the best hasty decision he had ever made, there would never be any regrets there. She told him that she had missed him, and he whispered in her ear, ”Me too. You have no idea.” And with that statement he handed her the rose he had been holding on to for her. ”Beautiful flower, for a beautiful girl.” he whispered again, even though he knew how corny it sounded. He was relieved so far that her dad had now shown up, neither had any of his family. Then again, that feeling was short lived when he saw the Headmaster walk into the ball. Seriously… why does he have to chaperone this stuff? he thought to himself watching the Headmaster now greeting his younger brother Albus. Sirius knew that his wife’s father had seen them, and he knew that would probably infuriate him. But that was nothing for him to worry about now, he wanted to spend time with his wife, (it was still weird thinking of Kelsey that way, but it still made him happy every time he did) and he wanted this night to be perfect. Or as perfect as it could be under the circumstances. While Albus and her father were talking, another member of her family walked over to the couple. Her brother, Anton had momentarily stopped by his father and then made his way over to them. He greeted them, but more likely Kelsey. Even though he had said, Hey you two, it still seemed as though it was not directed to much at him. Perhaps just because their relationship was so knew and Sirius had never really spent any time with Anton before their wedding, oh well, what a better time to start. Right? Sirius nodded and smiled at his brother-in-law in acknowledgement and Kelsey greeted him properly by asking him how he was. Then in a hushed tone so only the three of them could hear her, she asked if her father was furious and if she should be leaving right about now. Sirius could hear the sarcasm in Anton’s voice when he said that he was doing extremely well. He did not know why but it was obviously the opposite of how he was really doing. Then he said something that surprised him a little, "Kels, just relax. It will be fine." Obviously her brother was on their side on this twisted situation, which was good to know. Considering Sirius had not really told anyone out of his family yet, especially his parents and he still did not know how they would react. Her brother seemed to be rather protective over his sister and he had never really noticed that in their family before now. But he supposed that it had always been this way, he had just never taken the time to see it. When told to relax on the other hand, Kelsey started to flip out verbally and went off on a tangent about how she had been doing her best to make sure he and her father never saw each other (which is hard sometimes because Sirius had a long history of being a trouble maker of sorts) and that now they were in the same room and there was no way to avoid it. Then she said something he really kind of wished she had not. She mentioned, however polite her wording for it had been, that they had slept together. Just what he wanted her brother to know, especially since it first happened before he even asked her to marry him. Oh well, can’t change that subject matter now could he? That was when Anton looked directly at him, pointed at him momentarily and said: "You," points at James "better not be having a kid this young. Yeah, you two are married, but you're still young. And kids would just complicate it all. I think you would prefer me telling you this than daddy over there. He would have strangled James here if he found out that you were deflowered."Sirius was taken a bit off guard with this one. Wow. Just because he asked her to marry him did not mean he was anywhere near ready for fatherhood. He felt exactly the opposite. Maybe if he was thrown into it he could grow up enough, but he had lots of things he wanted to do before being thrown into parenthood. ”Trust me, I don’t plan on that for a while. I still need to finish school if you had not noticed. That and I’m seventeen… And I’m not a famous Quidditch player yet,” he said with a smirk, everyone around the school knew that was his biggest goal and dream. Now that his other dream had been recognized, this was to marry a girl that really meant something to him. Sirius considered telling him that he should have a few years to wait on the subject of a niece or nephew, but who knew if something would accidentally happen before then? It would obviously not be planned but if something happened it could not be changed. Obviously they were fine now, so it was nothing to worry about. He now really, really hoped the subject would change. It was definitely awkward with his wife’s brother being the one talking to him about it. Although, Anton was completely correct in saying that he thought Sirius would prefer it to come from him rather than his new father-in-law. Yes, definitely better this way. By far. Now he kept a close eye on the Headmaster as he was walking away from greeting people as they came in the doors. He put his arms a little tighter around Kelsey, almost protectively, trying to look nonchalant about everything to the Headmaster so he would not think anything of them standing there together. When he was finally farther away on the other end of the dance, drinking meade as it seemed, (boy could Sirius go for a drink at this point, watching the headmaster!) Then Sirius noticed his little sister coming his way, and he watched her come to join them after greeting his brother (who had not yet come to say hello to him, but had spoken to the Headmaster for a few minutes) and then she stopped in front of them, greeting him kindly and then acknowledging his wife (but to her knowledge girlfriend) but not seeming quite as happy to see her. Long time no talk, she said to him. Boy if she even knew. ”Yeah, I know. How have things been for you, Roula?” he asked putting a small smile back across his face, which had disappeared when the subject of ‘deflowering’ had come up only moments before. Robert stared down at the brown liquid in his glass. He picked it up, swirled it around, and downed it. With every second that ticked by he wanted to just bolt. His plans from September had failed. Instead of making his children closer, they were farther away from him than before. Robert disliked failure. He hated to fail. This time, he had failed more than just his own expectations. He had failed his wife and children. They (his children) were all grown up....married. Robert cringed at that thought, and had his glass filled and downed it once more.
Alcohol wasn't taking away the pain this time. The pain burned in his chest like he was on fire - and it wasn't a result of alcohol running down his esophagus and destroying his stomach. It was real emotional pain. Robert frowned. He hated emotion. It was what got him in this situation to begin with. Robert hated love, this was the worst emotion of all. All he wanted was to be a father, a real father. One that his children weren't afraid of, mad at, or even hated. All Robert wanted was to be loved by his own children. All three of them seemed to hate him and he believed Kelsey hated him above all.
It was that Potter boy. It was all his fault. Robert was making real progress mending his relationship with Kesley and then Potter came along and took her away, deflowered her and then married her. Married her and didn't even bother to ask Robert first. Neither of them came and asked Robert if maybe he wanted to be there for what was the most important day of his daughter's life. No one ever had asked Robert what he wanted.
Robert blew hot air out of his nose and glared over at the Potter boy. Look him, all over her like a leech, trying to protect. Taking one more glassful, Robert stood up. Mr. James Potter could not protect Kelsey from her father, nor could he just stand here and watch Potter even touch her in the slightest. Robert had tons of emotion built up, most of which came from the sudden marriage of his daughter. He had reached his full and then some, and now he was about to explode.
He curled his hand into a fist and kept glared at Potter. He wanted so badly to just "off" him but, that would made Kelsey unhappy. That was something he wasn't willing to do. What could he do? Fine, Kelsey wanted him to show emotion early, he was just going to show it now. It wasn't going to be pretty emotion but, it was emotion.
Taking in a deep breath, Robert bolted up and strode over the the happy group. He wiped away his anger expression and just put on a straight, somber one. Robert cleared his throat, "Potter, I would like to speak to you," he said. It came out more harshly than he had meant. "Alone," he added with emphasis.

Close my eyes, and leap ------------------ Kelsey held the rose that James got her in her hand, smelling it every now and then. He always made her get this funny feeling inside that could not be explained. He was the only person to ever give her that feeling inside. As she twirled the flower around in her hand she listened to her brother speak. Maybe she shouldn't have said deflowered. She forgot how protective her brother could be at times. She let James speak before her, trying to gather a way to explain the situation to her brother.
"For your information, Daddy already knew that James deflowered me before he knew we had gotten married. he had one of his spies watching me the night it happened. Trust me, the last thing I want right now is children," said Kelsey in a hushed tone to her brother. In the corner of her eye she could see her father move past them. She could feel James pulling her closer, having saw him also. Fear washed over her yet again, finished off by relief when her father did not stop to talk to them. She was going to go insane by the end of the night if she didn't get out of here. Kelsey was just about to suggest that they leave when Roula, James' little sister arrived.
"Hey Roula," Kelsey said with a friendly smile. She could tell by Roula's tone of voice that she did not like her. Why would Roula not like Kelsey? Kelsey had never done anything mean to Roula before. Before Kelsey could think on this any more further, her father began to advance towards them.
"Oh shit!" Kelsey said under her breath just before her father arrived. She held on to James more tightly, scared to death of what her father was going to do. He wanted to talk to James alone. Oh no way in hell that was going to happen. If she left those to alone, she knew her father would murder James then have time to hide the body. Kelsey shot a worried look at Anton, now knowing what to do.
"Hi daddy," was all Kelsey could say as her eyes looked at the floor. She had never in her life been this scared before. Was this the last night that she would be held in James' arms? Would her father tear him apart, limb by limb? All Kelsye could think of was negative thoughts. words?! 403 tag?! James, Robert, Anton, Albus and Roula! outfit?! click here! lyrics?!
