River had a lot going on, her mind traveling from her past life and the one she was given, not forced into. It was getting hard to decipher memories from dreams lately, as she knew it would all fade into a dream some short time. However she did miss her old family, something she was sworn not to speak of. It did not mean she could not long for her mothers embrace, or to braid her younger sisters hair. No that talk was gibberish to this new life. She took each day in stride, and each moment a reminder of her choice to be human, forever…
It had been only a few months but River was adjusted to her new life, she was spending this Christmas holiday not with her family, but instead at the school she would start lessons at the next term. It was not because she did not want to spend time with her new parents, new being relative in all matters since they did all share memories of past events that River knew to be false, regardless of how real they seemed. One day they would be the only thing real to her… For now however she could hold onto her past a bit longer…
Snow was falling on the landscape as she sat in the great hall looking out. Standing behind the staff tables and on the ledge she felt the cold window and felt at peace. “Perdonare mio padre di dolore” she spoke in Italian, her new life granted such. She had known all languages in the past, but only now retained that of two, English and Italian. Her written past would show her tongue in Italian first, thus her mouth seemed to find comfort in such a sweet language. She spoke to her true father, though he could not hear his daughter she pleaded for his forgiveness as she did feel the pain of leaving them.
She had dark blue jeans on, some one-inch healed boots that covered to her shins and a dark violet sweater on. A black knitted scarf on and her hair tied back in a loose pony that hair was falling on the frame of her face. She stared out the window, not even sure she was allowed up behind the staff tables she enjoyed the sight, with a sigh escaping her lips she smiled.
Soon she would learn the subjects she once knew all about, and now lost in her memories of past times she would have to relearn how to use her magic, and how to be normal. A sad sort of ambiance around her, that would soon disappear once she fully accepted her human nature, the nature she was so drawn to. A human life offered so much more, if only she could have shared it with her family…

Up on the sixth floor Roxy was in the girls bathroom. She stood in front of the sink doing her makeup, taking it off, and doing it again. She did this a few times taking her time doing so. It had nothing to do with her makeup what so ever. She was just wasting time looking busy while waiting for a slytherin girl to come in and use a toilet. Of course as usual she was up to no good.
She glanced in the mirror towars the door as she heard it open, and saw three slytherin girls come into the bathroom. Her lips pulled up into a smile despite her best efforts to repress it. The girls stopped dead in thier tracks as they realised who she was. Every slytherin knew her, and knew not to trust her. She acted as if she hadn't noticed them come in. They gave her a wide birth as they went into seperate stalls.
As soon as the last stall door shut she tapped her face with her wand, and her makeup was perfect. She picked up her bag of tricks, and headed to the door. Before opening it she pulled out a small remote and pressed the button. With a loud bang all of the toilets exploded. A rank smell rose from the sewage they spewed out. The room was quickly flooded, and she darted out the door into the hall before it could hit her shoes.
She smirked as she heard the girls disgusted screams. Then she heard something she hadn't counted on. "WEASLEY!" She had heard that voice more than enough times to recognize it. It was the old care taker. She immediatly ran as fast as she could kicking off her high heels knowing she'd run faster bare foot. "Accio shoes." She waved her wand as she ran, and her shoes zoomed into her hand.
She was fast enough that she was able to gain distance between herself and the caretaker on the stairs. It was no matter though she knew that the old man would not give up so easily. He never gave up when it came to Roxy. They had been playing this game of cat, and mouse for four years. Most times Roxy managed to get away, but every now and then he got her normaly with the help of a slytherin.
Everyone in school knew what it meant when they saw Roxy sprinting down the halls. Most people laughed wondering what she had done this time. Slytherins often tried to stop her as revenge for something she had done to them. She darted into the great hall, and she saw a girl there. "Please say you never saw me." She begged quickly as she hid behind a curtain. Then she heard his voice. "Where is she?"

{ooc: Thanks for the reply!}
Her train of thought going on and off as it often did these past days she was indeed slightly surprised to see a girl running into the great hall, shoes in hand. Serenity remembered the days where she did not wear shoes, flying in the air… Oh those memories soon to be lost in the nymph magic. However her own thoughts aside she was plagued with a task that she was unsure of how to respond as he girl asked her to ignore her presence in a sense.
Then when the school caretaker, by the looks of things came in River had her own thoughts. Clearly she had done something wrong, and as she was a new student the young Gyrffindor’s reputation did not have her in the grips. Perhaps if she had know this prankster was something of a common ground she would not have spoken up, then again who was she kidding…
“Who?” She said looking at the caretaker, “I am sorry, but no one has been in here but me for the moment.” She said calm, cool and easy. A lie that was simple to tell when your past was a secret even from you.
It was quick, unquestioned and over within a moment as she watched the caretaker rush away to find, undoubtedly the girl behind the curtain. River watched as the door remained open, but the steps fluttered into distance, perhaps the old caretaker was not searching outdoors?
River had to converse now, oh how strange it was to be in young shoes again, even more so as a human. Regardless her thoughts and emotions where still growing into that new found life she had agreed to. “I believe you are safe now, mind if I ask what it is that you did?” She asked, not sure she wanted to know the answer; after all she was not an accessory after the fact.

Roxy listened hard hoping that this girl would help her out. She had never seen the girl before so it was a safe bet that she was new to the school. This assumption was also supported by the fact that the girl seemed surprised by her odd appearance, and it was a rare occurance to find someone in the school that hadn't at least hear about Roxy's unruly yet hysterical antics.
She heard the girl lieing to the caretaker, and she relaxed. Once again she had gotten away with her crime. An amused smile spread accross her face, as she thought about how angry he would be that she had thwarted him again, and he would not get to give her another detention. Then she thought about how he would look while cleaning up the mess she had created, and she had to try very hard to stiffle a laugh.
Then the girl told her it was safe, and she came out from behind the curtain, and immediatly started laughing. She wished that she could have waited outside of the bathroom to see the look on the girls faces when they had come out, she was sure that her imagination came no where close. It was always better to see peoples reactions than to imagine them, but with many of her pranks she never got to see them.
She walked over and sat on the edge of the staff table in front of the girl. She was about to introduce herself when the girl asked her what she had done. "Oh don't worry it's not that bad. I just blew up a few toilets beneath a couple slytherin girls covering them in sewage." She smiled a mischevous smile as she told the girl what she had done. She then held out her hand to the girl. "I'm Roxy."

River was not really sure how to react to the situation, in the past she was the adult in the situation, ready to reprimand, or rather discuss the situation, as she often did. However that was not the case, and she honestly did not remember the last time a student came to her, in fact the vision of her office was nearly gone. Now was just her own reactions, new, fresh and undiscovered.
The reaction… “Eww.” The sound and expression on her face said it all too well. Oh, how she would have to watch her step it that was, regular practice. Perhaps helping her out was a good thing after all, then again she was definitive in the subject of slytherin girls. Perhaps she was safe due strictly to her house. Huffelpuff, it was a sweet and generous house, she was glad to have been sorted in such.
“Well, Roxy, I am River.” She said, using her second name, not her first as she had done since the change… in direction. No one would know any different though. “I do hope no one was hurt.” She said concerned with the wee being of the others, after all blew up did have negative effects. “I take it this is common ground, then?” she said and the more she spoke her Italian, nearly Irish accent was more evident. After all her mother was Irish, father Italian… according to the Nymph council that was.
There was no real use holding onto the past as hard as she did, but she would continue to work on her new life, and hold on to her past one the best she could. After all your past is what made you who you are, right?
