i'm lost in time , The breeze that accompanied the crisp winter weather was sharp, biting into her the soft skin of her cheeks, which had already began to flush a faint pink in the few minutes she had been outside. The gentle wind tugged at her hair, snaring the fiery locks and pulling them with the breath of air. Luckily the wind was blowing away from her, so the strands weren't being pushed into her face. Readjusting her woolen tuque Rose glanced around the courtyard, mourning the end of autumn. Rose loved autumn, with it's fresh range of scarlets and golds, not to mention leaf piles and pumpkins and Halloween. Winter was nice, for the first few weeks, at least, until the novelty wore off. You could only enjoy snowball fights and snowmen for so long until they stopped being new, and faded out as a way to pass the time if there honestly wasn't much else to do. Rosie didn't have anything against winter, really, she just didn't enjoy it as much as summer, or fall.
Considering this it was a bit odd that Rosie had decided to come outside, but after writing tests in three of her classes, and spending time in the crowded and stuffy common room Rose felt she'd go crazy if she didn't get some fresh air and let off some energy. Kicking at a pile of snow Rose decided that hadn't been the brightest idea, as the white wetness fell onto the skin left bare by her shoes. Sucking in a quick breath of surprise at the shock of cold Rosie noted that maybe her choice of shoes hadn't been the best either. It was too late for that thought now though, since she wasn't going to bother running up to the tower again just to change shoes.
Digging her hands into the pockets of her jean Rose settled her self on one of the stone benches that surround the courtyard, leaning back against a tree that was placed rather conveniently close to the bench. Because of the weather not many students were around, though Rosie could see a few heavily clocked students hurrying back from the Greenhouses, and across the courtyard she had spotted a couple engaged in some heavy snogging. Rolling her eyes Rosie looked away, PDA was really overrated, in her opinion.

Winter was among us and Axel was very pleased. The snow, the cold weather, everything about winter made Axel happy inside. Defently since he got to stay at Hogwarts for the holidays and not go home to see that ass hole he calls a father. Yes they use to get along, but not recently, not since what happened on his sixteenth birthday that he swears to keep a secret, no matter who the person wanting to know is.
Stepping out into the brisk wind of the winter day he pulled his jacket closer to his body looking around. The sun gleaming down on the snow, but there wasn't enough heat to think about melthing the light blanket that covered the grounds. Letting his feet begin to carry his body threw the ground he looked around to see who was around. Who he could talk to, or jsut simply what he could do. Shoving his hands in the black jacket he was wearing he spotted someone in the distance. What a familiar face it was to him. A small smile forming on his pale lips as he slowly made his way over to the area she was sitting at. Ms. Rose Elise Weasley.
With his hands shoved in his pockets, and his coat pulled closed together he stopped right infront of her with a small smile still on his face. "Hey Elise." He said looking down at the girl. He had always called her by her middle name, ever since they first met. He didn't know why, but it was just a habbit of his.

i'm lost in time , Rosie looked up at the sound of one of her names, her lips curving up in a happy grin even before she saw who had called to her. Only two people ever called her Elise. With her father it was always accompanied by Roselynn Elise Weasley, so Rose was fairly confident she knew who was coming towards her. "Axel." Rose tilted her head up so that she could look up at him, greeting him with a smile. Patting the stone bench beside her with a gloved hand Rose shifted her body, creating space for the two of them. "Sit, Rose spoke as she moved, "It's hurting my neck looking up at you."
Rosie had know Axel since her first year. At first Rosie had just been pleased to have friend at school who wasn't related to her, but as time progressed and the year passed the two remained close friends. One thing that puzzled Rose was her family reaction when she had brought it up during a family dinner during the break. A weird silence had fallen, and as Rosie had shifted awkwardly in her seat her father had shot her a look that displayed both disappointment and worry. It was like that for a few moments, before Hugo expertly changed the conversation. Rosie worried what would happen if she brought it up again, and didn't further pursue the topic. She assumed their was some black stain in her family's history that no one was willing to talk about, but it still irked her that she couldn't talk about one of her oldest friends, or bring him home to meet the family.
Pushing her thoughts aside Rose turned to face him, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear before she spoke. "So what brings you out here?" She asked pleasantly, just for the sake of conversation.

Axel was always one to do what he was told. Defiantly when it was someone he respected. Like his friend who was sitting before him. A smile grew to his face as he sat down next to her turning sideways so it was easier to carry on a conversation, and just where the boy could look at her. "Better?" He asked with his soothing voice that he always had.
The two sitting here had been friends since forever, but he had never managed to meet her family. Well her cousins that where in the school where about it. He didn't know if she was ashamed of him, oh wait he remembered now. How they didn't seem to like it when she brought him up. He didn't really doubt that. His family did have a reputation of being werewolves, but he didn't tell her that. He didn't want to risk loosing her, defiantly since she is again his best friend. He figured he would one day tell her about his little secret, when the time was right, and he knew he would be safe with telling her.
Shifting his body where he had his hands in his pockets and his eyes locking on hers. "Me, well I was just bored. I saw you sitting down here so I figured I would come down and speak." He said with a bright smile on his face. "Elise how have you been? Its been a few days since we talked." He had defiantly missed that. Those simple conversations he use to have with her when they saw each other more, but lately he hasn't been able to see her. Defiantly during the weeks of the full moon. He acted completely different so he knew to stay away. For her health...

i'm lost in time , Much," Rose replied, glancing over at her friend. At the angle she was sitting at Rosie could see his strong profile. It always surprised Rose, that sometimes when she looked at her friend she didn't see her best friend. Instead she saw a handsome stranger, a face that wasn't as familiar to her. They had grown up, Rosie thought, not feeling sad, but more wistful, remembering only a few years ago when they didn't have to worry about O.W.L's or N.E.W.T's and grades and scores at career choices. Blinking Rose forced herself back to the conversation, able to catch what Axel was saying.
"You keep disappearing on me!" Rose protested playfully, a faux pout jutting out on her lips. "I've been good. Missing warm weather," Rosie continued, smiling. Many of her freckles were genetic, but Rose had the feeling that if she didn't spend as much time in the sun as she did that she have considerably less of the little spots dotting her complexion. "What about you? How's life treating you?" Rosie asked in turn, brushing a stray lock of her hair behind her ear as she spoke. Looking up at her friend Rosie studied the lines in his face. "You look tired," She noted softly, observant to the hidden lines in Axel's face.

Axel had kinda been disappearing from her. He had special arrangements with the headmaster to leave one week during the month to go to an abandoned village because of his fear of hurting someone. He always packed up enough food, and clothes and left. See today was the day he was actually going to leave. He already had his bags packed, and well he was just taking one more walk before he took his week out of school. Just because of his werewolf self. The part of him that has only been around for a few months.. The part that terrified him.
He was tired. Very tired. Just because it was getting closer and closer to his transformation. He knew right now he shouldn't be here, because tonight was the first full moon of the month. Just being here was a danger to her, but then again he still had about 5 hours until the moon was out. "I am very tired Elise. Haven't slept much lately. And yeah I know, we must just keep missing each other, because I know I don't see you much anymore." HE said with a small smile before looking up as a strand of her hair flew back out of place.
Lifting his hand, Axel pushed the strand back behind her ear. "But besides being tired..I have been okay." HE said softly. It wasn't an entire lie. He had been OK, but not great. He wasn't great because he was still living in fear that he would hurt someone that he loved. Someone that he cared about. Like the girl sitting in front of him.. .

i'm lost in time , Rosie frowned as the blade of hair slipped away once more and she reached up to tuck it away again, but too late she realized that Axel had beaten her to it, her hand touching his for a moment before she drew it away, feeling his fingers brush against her skin as she moved back the unruly lock of hair. Her cheeks flushed lightly, at the contact, but luckily for Rose she could easily blame the touch of pink in her cheeks on the chilly weather.
"I guess I've been busy," Rosie explained, raising her shoulders in a small shrug. "You know, homework and classes, not to mention prefect duties." Rosie added on thoughtfully, glancing over to Axel, "You'd think that with our O.W.L's done with they'd give us a little bit of a slack period, let us take it easy, if just for a little." At his confirmation of his tiredness Rosie raised an eyebrow, What..or who's been keeping you awake?" Her blue eyes twinkled wickedly, teasing. "But really, what have you been up too?" Rosie questioned playfully, curiosity lapping over the gentle tones of her voice.
Something tugged on the back of her mind, telling her that maybe Axel wasn't being quite honest with her. Rosie didn't want to prod, but she wished that Axel was willing, was comfortable, with sharing whatever he was holding back from er. Bright blue eyes quizzically searched his face, trying to pick out any clues or hints from his strong features that would help her figure out and unravel whatever secret he was keeping. However his face was heavily guarded and Rosie could discern nothing from it. Rosie didn't want to push though, the value of their friendship too much to risk if she pushed too far, too hard.

Sitting here looking at his friend he couldn't help but smile. The two went so-far back that sometimes he forgot to notice how much they have actually changed.Like the fact that she had grown up so much from that small little girl he met during his first year. She was well matured, and damn beautiful in his eyes. Not saying that Axel thought she was ugly in the past, just now...Now she was stunning. Yes he had always known this but well he never toot he time to appreciate what he had in front of him.
Listening to the girl talk he noticed the pale pink blush on her cheeks. This only made his smile widen as he let his eyes trail up from her lips to her eyes. That same small smile playing on his lips. "hmm who has been keeping me up. Thats a good question. Random people." He teased letting a smug smile form to his lips. "Nah. I am just messing with you. Lets see Adele and I just broke up. So no one lately...'
Yeah he had broken up with Adele yet again . They had been one of those on again off again relationships for about two years now. Never seeming to stay together. But they had dated for about 10 months straight this time..Where doing pretty good until she walked in on him kinda making out with another girl. It wasn't actually him doing the kissing though. It was kinda her, but hey she didn't give him time to explain. Sighing he looked back up to the girl in front of him once again. "Besides that though I have just been busy as well...Alot of stuff going on in my life right now Elise. Quidditch, the newspaper, and well prefect duties as well. Plus my dad has been kinda bugging me to death lately..." Yeah because I am a werewolf...He finished off that statement in his mind..

i'm lost in time , Rosie laughed as Axel claimed to have a multitude of people he couldn't keep track of filing into and out of his bed. "You wish," She grinned, shaking her head. Her bright smile fell as Axel recalled his latest breakup. "Really? What was it this time?" She asked cautiously. She never knew who Axel was going to react around that particular topic. Adele and him were off and on, the status of the relationship changed constantly, or at least it seemed that way to Rosie, who, she admitted, had a slightly biased very on the issue as a whole.
"Busy guy," Rosie noted, as Axel listed all the activities he had been occupied with. At the mention of his family Rosie flashed him a sympathetic smile. She knew all about the pressure of family, and especially parents. It never seemed to stop coming from her family, stemming from aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers. But her parents were no doubt the worst, always pushing this and pushing that, watching everything. It made Rosie extremely glad that she spent almost ten months in a year at Hogwarts, away from their prying. Of course, Rosie knew they all did it became of concern and affection for her, but she wondered, from the look on her best friend's face that maybe it was something else that was causing his dad to get on his case. "What's he riding you about now?"
As she waited for an answer from Axel Rosie watched him, trying to sort through the emotions that sprung unwanted to her mind when she saw his face. In truth, Rosie was positive she knew what those emotions were, the giddy smile, and fluttering stomach, but she refused to admit them to herself. For one, she didn't want to be the cliche, falling for her best friend, when she insisted heatedly that they were just that, just friends, to anyone that asked. But more of, Rosie knew, was the fear of rejection, and losing him completely. She could stand him not knowing about her feelings, but she couldn't even fathom the two of them not being friends. Pushing the thoughts away Rose gave an inaudible sigh. It was just be better if she left thing well enough alone.

Axel wasn't planning on even being here at this moment, yet alone talking to his baby mama's cousin, his best friend, well one of them. Standing up he took a few steps away from her biting down on his lip. He had to tell her. If he didn't he would feel guilty as hell when she found out from someone else. Closing his eyes he ran his fingers threw his hair looking up at the sky. "Elise...I need to tell you something." He whispered turning his back to her for a moment as he looked out across the ground. "I don't know how to say this though." He stated softly as he turned around facing her.
"Ok...well.." He bit his lip again. "I made a mistake, well I slipped up a few months back." He whispered. This was the main reason the young man was so stressed out. He got one of his best friends cousin pregnant. Now he had to tell her. "And well..I was drunk, and this girl was drunk. One thing led to antoher...and now this girl is pregnant Elise." He said simply completely avoiding saying Lily's name for the time being. He needed to word this in his head right first.
Sighing he backed away a few more steps. "Please don't have me Elise.... I....I...I got Lily pregnant." He whispered.

i'm lost in time , Rose frowned, confusion creasing her face as Axel stood up, walking away from her. For a moment she wondered if she had said something to upset him, and bit her tongue, briefly running over their conversation, checking if anything she had said would have trigger such a response. Finding nothing Rosie looked at at Axel searching for an explanation. When she hear it though, Rose desperately wished she hadn't.
"I got Lily pregnant."
Shock froze Rosie, time seeming to inch to a painful stop as she tried to digest this statement. Only four words, and Rosie was rendered speechless, staring at up her best friend, praying he was kidding, that this was just a joke he was playing on her. But the expression on his face told her that no, this was the truth. Taking a long shuddering breath Rosie tried in vain to sort through the emotions that were tearing through her like bullets. There was a deep well of pain, but the hurt wasn't even registering, a veil of violent anger covering it and protecting Rosie from the hurt that would come later. Tears welled up in her eyes, wether from the pain or the rage Rosie couldn't tell but she blinked them away, clearing her hazy vision.
What the hell! I'm going to kill you! And then I'm going to kill her! How could you bloody do this? She's fucking fourteen years old!" The outburst momentarily startled Rosie but she continued on, as if a dam had broken, the words rushed out, Rose not even thinking about what she was saying. "How the fuck can you live with yourself? She's still a baby!" Her voice broke and Rose took a ragged breath, her gaze directed straight at Axel, the emotion that played across her face not welcoming in the slightest. She knew she shouldn't be saying the things she was right now, but she didn't care. She couldn't think straight right now, tiny hands curled into tight fists at her side, nails digging into the soft skin of her palm, creating pin pricks of pain. Rose barely noticed the physical pain, too occupied by the torrents of thoughts and feelings that rushed haphazardly around her head.

Axel should have expected that reaction, see that was the reaction he expected out of every one of her family members, but the one from James would most likely come with pain and blood. Which was just great, if you use great in the looses way possible, but well Axel had hoped that his best friend would have maybe at least tried to help him threw his. Hell he didn't even love Lily, let alone did he know that it was Lily that he was in bed with that night, well until the next morning, and then he still didn't know she was only fourteen, he believed that she was older, because well she had said she was older than fourteen..
Hearing her cuss, scream, yell what ever you want to call it made him close his eyes, trying to keep himself calm. Throwing his hands in the air above his head before putting them on his chest. "Rose do you think I wanted this to happen?! Do you fucking think I wanted a kid, or let alone wanted to sleep with her! I didn't even know it was her. We where both drunk as hell, and she said she was sixteen, Rose it wasn't like either of us planned it!" HE said angerly turning his back to her for a moment rubbing his eyes.
Damn he was about to loose both of his friends over this. Both of his best friends where going to hate him, but hey.Why not have the whole school hate him. Lately he had been thinking of just leaving school and coming back to check on Lily, that way he didn't have to worry about everyone and their pissed off expressions, defiantly since he was straiting to believe he had no more friends in this school. "Rose..." He turned back around trying to keep his expression calm. "I didn't mean too...And I sure as hell didn't mean to make you hate me.." he said sincerely.
Damn, right then somethign hit him... Did Rose like him? Is that why she is acting that way, because well she is acting like Bella did, and well Bella has had a thing for him since they where young....

i'm lost in time , All she wanted to do right now was scream, as hard and as loud as she possibly could, until her throat burned raw and her lungs ached desperately for air. But she couldn't do that. Not now. Not ever. There had to be someway to get through this with her dignity intact, but right now the pain was by passing her logical thought system, keeping her from thinking clearly. Burying her face in her hands, cradling her head between her slender fingers Rosie massaged her temples, trying, trying to think as she braced herself from the verbal attack she knew was about to come her way.
"She told you what?" Rosie's head shot up in alarm and shock. His harsh words cut her, but Rose knew they were nothing compared to what she had said to him. And there was no way to take them back. Her cousin might be a lying fuck right now, but Rose was still holding Axel accountable. It took two to tango, or in this case, do a sheet dance. Oh Merlin this was way to much for her. The fact that her baby cousin was pregnant with her best friend's baby was bad enough, but now Rose felt terrible for screaming and yelling. She could tell that he was honestly and sincerely remorseful. She could apologize, but it was an impossible apology, one she couldn't bring herself to make. She was still angry, furious more then anything, but the direction of her rage had shifted to her cousin. How could Lily have done that? Lied and slept with some guy.
Standing up shakily Rosie had one thought. She needed to find her cousin, but she knew, without even trying to take a step that her legs were unwillingly to move. "Axel," Her voice involuntarily softened, and Rose hated herself for it. "I can't deal with this right now." It was a dismissal of sorts, but a traitor voice in her head hoped that he wouldn't leave. Ignoring her conflicting feelings Rose sank down to the ground, pulling her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. The snow was soaking her clothing, but Rosie hardly noticed, staring listlessly at a patch of snow as she tried in vain to sort out her thoughts.
