Quinn A. Bordeleau Seventh Year, Slytherin Lesson #2;IC: With perfect handwriting she listened carefully to what Professor Harker was telling them, it sounded basic enough to her, but she wrote down a neat list of ingredients and instructions provided from the Professor. After the Professor was done speaking she starred at her black lines on the paper, like memorizing the instructions before she began.
Lesson two;
Boil Cure Potion
Ingredients; Dried Nettles + Crushed Snake Fangs + Stewed Horned Slugs + Porcupine Quills + Steps;
1. Place Cauldron on Flame 2. Add The following in the exact order;
- Dried Nettles,
- Crushed Snake Fangs,
- Stewed Horned Slugs
3. Let sit. Stir Occasionally 4. Remove from Flame 5. Add Porcupine Quills 6. Bottle (And label) [/blockquote] She smiled at her notes softly, quickly she started to bustle around. As soon as she had the ingredients in hand she walked softly to her station. She lined them up in order of how to place them in, separating the Quills by a couple of inches as to remind herself not right away. Making sure all labels faced the same way, she began. She had learned to be O.C.D. when it came to things like this. It made it less of a chance of mistake. To be patient was something that was good when doing things like this. Quinn placed the cauldron on the fire slowly making sure it was even all around so the heat would distribute right to the ingredients. Slowly she placed each ingredients saying the names softly under her breath. "Dried Nettles.. Crushed Snake Fangs.. Stewed Horned Slugs.." As she glanced at the quills it reminded her and she let out a small breath. She picked up the stirring utensil she stirred slowly for a little watching everything, making sure not to burn it. Once she figured it was done she took the cauldron off the flame slowly, and carefully. Once she knew she was safe she placed the Porcupine Quills inside. As she waited for it to turn into liquid she quickly wrote out a small label, and placed it around the small vile. Quinn A. Bordeleau Seventh Year, Slytherin The Boil Cure Potion Quinn then picked her ladel, and slowly poured some into the vile. placing the quirk on it she was finished and relieved. Quickly she cleaned up the ingredients she had grabbed in case she had to try again, and handed the vile to Professor Harker. "Thank you Professor." she said softly, her mother had told her to be over polite, it made life a little more pleasant, and she would like to get along with the Professor more then any other.[/size] classic
