Lisa was sitting at her desk on the left of the classroom. She seemed bored waiting for the professor to quit talking. But actually she was listening carefully. After DADA, Potions were her favourite subject and she found it very useful many times. Lisa kept a blank look at a cauldron in front of her while Potions teacher, Victoria Harker was explaining their today's task. She took a short look at ingredients to make sure she had them all. She had so a small smile entered her face. As professor Harker finished her speech Lisa was sure they were supposed to start. She took a textbook out and opened it on the right page. It seemed really simple but a vision of having boils on her as she thought beautiful face was awful. Lisa took a deep breath and was ready to brew a potion of a lesson. She picked her cauldron and placed in on on the flame. It was random but she thougth that she would want to see other students faling with that assigment. Then Lisa laughed inside and picked up some dried nettles. She looked at that ingredient and sighed before she set it to her cauldron. Bubbles were all over the cauldron. She raised an eyebrow. Maybe to much heat? Or was it the right effect? Lisa decided to low a flame a bit. Then another igrediends needed to be added. Crushed Snake Fangs. Now Lisa smirked and added them into the cauldron. She looked into it everything seemed alright. She nodded her head and went back to her textbook. What was next? Stewed Horned Slugs. Yeak! she thought ans shivered. But if that slugs were needed she would have to add them too. So she did but then wipped her hand in a tissue. Then a potion shpuld've been stired. Not thinking for long Lisa picked up a ladle and stired it few times to get the right colour. She blinked twice because it didn't look so good. But why? She didn't know. Well, maybe it was the heat fault? or maybe not. After all Lisa removed her cauldron from the heat and the got back to a textbook for the next step. Porcupine Quills, right. Weird animal. Lisa looked at the quills. they were small and she hoped that is was good. She added some of them into the cauldron as other ingredients before. It was almost done. now she just needed to wait for a while. As Lisa saw that potion she brewed has turned into a liquid, she smiled. Maybe it was better than she thought before. She took a ladle and using it she poured some of her potion into a vial. She picked it higher and watched for a while. Then she corked it. Her work was over. She only turned it to the professor in the end.

Lesson 3, Lisa Greenbay, Oct 3, 2009
Lisa was sitting at her desk slightly bored of waiting for a lesson to start. She didn't like to wait for anything. But then Professor Harker stepped in and greeted with the class. She started her lecture so they could make notes. Again Lisa was not interested in subject but her natural talent to potions would not allow her to ignore it completely. She pulled a quill out of her bag as well as ink and parchment. Oh how much she wanted to shirk her duties. Writing down everything was so exciteless. But she did not want to loose points for her house. Especially because she was so respected and she was a prefect. And of course she did not want anyone to think she was stupid or something.
She heard professor telling them to write some igredients down. Lisa bit her lip thinking of a few ingredients. * Acromantula venom * bezoar * Doxy eggs * Jobberknoll feathers * unicorn tail hair ok, I think that's enough. she thought. And just a few seconds after she heard professor speaking again. She smiled as she heard that the first ingredient Porfessor Harker mentioned was the fisrt on her own list. - Acromantula venom - almost impossible to collect from a living one. Lisa wrote down. - Armadillo Bile - Wit-Sharpening potion ingredient. - Ashwinder eggs - in love potions, as a cure for ague. have to be frozen asap. - Bezoar - "stone" that comes from the stomach of a goat, protection from most poisones. - Bicorn Parts - powdered horn used in the Polyjuice Potion. - Billywig parts - we use the dried stings. - Black bettle parts & Boomslang parts - in Polyjuice Potion. - Bundimun secretion - used in some magical cleaning solutions. Lisa was scrabbing that on her parchment. Her hand hurt her a bit but she tried to ignore it. Fortunatelly she had some time to stop for a while before a teacher countinued her lecture. - Caterpillers, crockroaches, crocidile parts, Doxy eyes, Dragon eggs and parts - Class A Non-Tradable items (especially dragon ones). It was first excited thing in today's classes that they had a chance to see the horn of a Romanian Longhorn. The jar with it went from hands to hands. Everyone wanted to hold it at least few seconds. As Lisa got it she lifted it and wacthed it for 5 seconds. Then she handed it to the other student. Then Victoria Harker started her speech again. And Lisa countinued noting. - Erumpent parts - horns and tails, used in an exploding fluid. - Flobberworm mucus - used to thicken potions. - Frog parts & Glumbumble fluids - used as an antidote for the effects of eating Alihotsy leaves. /Graphorn’s powdered horn too/ - Horned slugs & horned toads - - Jobberknoll feathers - used in Memory Potions and Truth Serums. - Lacewing Flies & Leeches - used in shrinking potions. - lionfish spines, Murtlap essence, pickled Murtlap tentacles - help soothe and heal cuts and other wounds. - Newts, porcupine quills, puffer fish eyes and rat spleens - used in swelling solutions. - Re’em blood, Roonspore eggs & the eggs of the runespoor - used for making potions which enhance mental ability. - Scalamander blood, crushed Scarabs, snake fangs, snake venom, spiders, tubeworms, and Unicorn blood, horn and tail hair. - other animal derived ingredients. Lisa set a quill on her desk as she finished two minutes after professor finished her lecture.
