The days were counting down till the young girl had to say bye to her parents. It was not a hard thing to do but still she knew tears will be shed the day she gets on the train. Madison and her two parents were now finally traveling the alley she heard so much about. It was her first time here though over the years she heard deep detail of the place. Each store came alive to her, one filled with animals of all kinds, another brooms sticks in display of the window. If it wasn't for the near rainfall that hung in the clouds she would have just window shopped all day.
Her parents had been holding the list of stuff she needed for her first year. Her own list for books were written on another piece of paper in her pocket. She wasn't in real notice that her parents had drifted apart to stores leaving her alone infront Flourish and Blotts.
Opening up the frosted glass door she watch as books wall to wall appeared. Though you would think being a wizard would fasinate her, the books made her smile like her life was finally completed. Taking out her pocket the crumpled up paper she began to look for her needed books. Each of the books took a different emotion to the young girl. 'If only I could read them all", she thought going into a reused secetion of torn books.

Strolling along
It was that time of year again. Kelsey was heading into Diagon Alley for yet another year of back to school shopping. Kelsey loved back to school shopping with a passion. There was something about the smell of new parchment and leather binded books that made Kelsey's senses go wild. That, was one of the main reasons why Kelsey was a Ravenclaw. She loved books, and getting lost in reading. Of coarse she was a very picky reader, but she still loved to read.
Kelsey arrived at the entrance of Florish and Blotts, a huge smile upon her pale face. She opened the door with excitement, the smell of the books driving her wild. She walked in, not knowing where to begin. She wondered to herself if they got any new mystery books here. Kelsey's eyes wandered on a little girl, no older than eleven. This must be her first year school shopping, smiling, Kelsey walked over to the girl.
"Is this your first year going to Hogwarts. I can tell. You have the amazed look in your face at all of the books. Trust me, it won't go away. I still love coming here," Kelsey said, smiling down at the girl. Kelsey was finally happy that there was someone shorter than her. She wasn't the tallest in her year. Kelsey was only 5'1, shorter than most in her grade. She was happy when she saw someone shorter. It gave her some kind of confidence.

Madison was deep in thought giving a look of exicitment to each and every book on the shelf. Her mind was blocked out to the world and the amazement to be able to knock herself out of the fake world to hear the voice made her jump. Her hand was on one old dusty book which she threw up as she jumped.
She looked up at the older girl, her brown eyes showing a shy fear to being taken noticed of. "Y..y...yes", she studdered picking the book up. She had fell for the love of books since she was little, hearing a story everynight from her extusiastic father. The dust began fly form the book and up into the air causing Madison to sneeze. "Sorry, dust", she coughed getting it from tickling the back of her thoart. Her voice was innocent, small with the few occasions that it begins to go into a whiney pitch that she could never help.
"I'm hoping to get into Ravenclaw", she said as her eyes twiched back and forth between the older girl and books, "But my parents were both Gryffindors so I guess it runs in my blood". She picked up a newer book that had bright green letters, Quidditch beginners.
