This was the first time that Spencer Lewes has ever taken the time to travel to the annual Summer fest. He definitely regretted it now. The festival was amazing- or at least it was in Spence's eyes. First of all, there were so many people here, which is what he loves. Second of all, the FOOD. The glorious, glorious food! He could never get enough of it. Surprisingly Spence could probably eat bags and bags of candy, and not gain a single pound from it.
He finally got to the head of the line to order something deep fried. He frowned when he looked at what they had. Of course they wouldn't have a deep fried snikers bar...This was the wizarding world- they apparently didn't sell snikers bars, let alone deep fried ones. He sighed as he lazily pointed to a deep fried pumpkin pastie. Once he got it, he walked over to the side of the stand and bit into it. Not bad, but definitely not nearly as good as a deep fried snikers.
Before Spencer could take another bite of his pastie, he dropped it on the ground. He swore loudly. Loudly enough to make a bunch of people's heads turn.
ooc;; deep fried snikers are actually real XD;; so are deep fried oreos....they sell them at fairs and the summerfest where i live XDDD

Cynthia Hay had never been to a summer fest of any kind, and she was feeling quite nervous. She didn't know anyone, but the sinking feeling in her stomach made her doubt whether she really wanted to meet anyone today. What if she wasn't herself.. or rather exactly herself. Her older sister had forced her out of the house however, because her crush was coming over and she wanted to have some quality time with him, so she changed into a cute outfitWhen changed, the young Hufflepuff walked out of her condo and down towards the Summer Fest. She picked up a stray curl in between her index finger and thumb and placed it between her lips ever so softly. As Cynthia walked along she saw a food bar that had deep fried snickers bars. She was curious to what it tasted like so she purchased one, and walked on. Not far after Cynthia heard a boy that looked about her age swear and look down to the ground. She looked over at him, then at her own candy. It was untouched and she really didn't need the calories so she walked towards him and said, "You can have mine if you want. It's no worry."

Just his luck, he didn't bring anymore money with him either, so he couldn't buy anything else to eat. That pretty much meant that he came to Summer fest for no reason. What a waste. But then he heard someone call out to him 'You can have mine if you want. It's no worry.'
Spencer looked up to the girl who said that, then back to her deep friend bar, then back again. A few more times. Should he? Was it really necessary? Yes, yes it was. He took her bar and bit into it. It was delicious. He looked back up at her, he'd never seen her around before. "I'm Spencer, you are?" He asked, mouth full of the snickers bar.

Cynthia lowered her hand after the black haired boy took the bar and laced her slender fingers together. She wondered if she should just leave now, or wait for him to finish scarfing down the bar and begin a conversation. She decided she would wait. "I'm Cynthia," she introduced herself to Spencer, grimacing as she caught a sight of the chewed snickers bar in his mouth. It wasn't a pleasant sight to see, and hoped he would become more polite with his chewing.
"Its a pleasure to meet you, I'm sure," the Hufflepuff girl said, as she avoiding looking at his face to prevent herself from seeing inside his mouth. She smiled to herself as she saw all the people enjoying themselves, she soon hoped to meet people at this new town.

Spencer was definitely never a shy one when he met new people. It was plainly obvious now since he was chewing with his mouth open right in front of a stranger. He usually treated girls like he treated guys, kids like he treaded adults, same every time. He was always himself...and he loved himself for that.
He did, however notice how she seemed to dislike his rude manners. So he waited until he finished the bar and swallowed the rest that was in his mouth. "Hey, Cyn....So, what brings you out here on this fine day?" He failed to remember to thank her for the bar.

Cynthia shrugged her tiny shoulders as Spencer asked her what brought her to the Summer Fest. "The people, the rides, the sun. Everything. Well that and I've never been to one before," she grinned merrily. "What about you, Spence?" she asked him, her gaze returning to his, with a thankful smile for taking her rather rude hint for him to use proper manners.

Spencer smiled, they had some things in common then. "Yeah, I came here for the people too, buuuuut, mostly I came here for the food! Heh, if you haven't already noticed." Spence looked her over. He had never seen her before. "What house are you in?" He asked her.
