At the least Lily could do that. Yet Dom knew she would almost have to force Lily to lift up her sleeve. And most likely she would look away before she could see her uncle’s reaction. That Dominique wasn’t lying and for the first time she would wish that she was. “Good.” She said nodding her head. It was going someplace. Slowly but surely. Not tell Harry about Bellatrix? But this was one person that he did want dead. Instead of yelling at Lily and telling her all the bad things Bellatrix has done. She asked, “Why is she so important Lily?” In a more calming voice. One of them had to stay together. And it seemed like Dominique was holding all the pieces now.

Okay it was definitely going somewhere. Yet Dom couldn’t help the small frown when Lily brought up a war. Hopefully they could get this over and done with before this started. “Maybe there won’t be a war.” High hopes. Hopes that would remain with Dom until the time came when a war was on. The Hufflepuff bit her bottom lip when Lily said the other death eaters would probably kill her. “Tell them I made you tell me. If it comes up and they threaten to kill you. Give them my name. They should know you don’t know all the curses yet.” Why was Dominique doing this for her cousin? Because she really wanted Lily to live through this. Don’t get her wrong. Dominique wanted to live to a ripe old age with a family. But right now she was pretty sure she could handle herself.

Lilly looked at her cousin, she decided to deter from answering why Bellatrix was so important. She didn't want to say that she respected Bella Jack and Mag as family, she couldn't put that into Dom. Her and Dom were at a fragile part in their relationship. It could smash at any second, but every minuite it got stronger.

"This is going to tear dad apart." Lilly wanted to complain but she decided to make it more of an assumption more than anything. "What do you think he will do..? He might go to the ministry.." Lilly was just openly thinking now. This was going to most likely tear the family apart, and it would have been all Lillys fault. The one they would never expect. She was always the innocent one, just like Rose was adored and Dom and James were the tag team. Lilly sighed, this really wasn't going to go down well. She knew her father wouldnt trust her.

"Dom.. there is going to be a war" Lilly sighed, it was the truth wether either of them liked it or not. "Their recruiting people from Hogwarts..." she finally admited. Not that Lilly really would concern herself with things like that. "And we have dementors too.." There that was in the open, at least she warned Dom of things before all hell broke loose. To Lilly that was little information that she had got from Jack. But to everyone else it was big news and Lilly didn't realize that. "Jack knows when im lieing, when anybodys lieing. And don't even think that i would give your name! I wouldn't put you infront of me for a shield. You should know that. I will take it if it comes!"Lilly said honestly. She would take the bullet for the family. Especially as it was her fault.

Dominique ran a hand through her own hair. The blond strands went through her fingers easily. No knots or anything. Something that Dom has always taken pride in was her hair. It was just something that had to look perfect. Probably her mother made her this way. But she definitely got the punching your own family in the face from her father. Or maybe it was the small amount of veela blood in her veins? How knew. All that Dom knew was that there was something inside her that had never come out before. And when it did. She felt better. Maybe it was good to let out those angry emotions sometimes?

“Your dad can be unpredictable as some points. He might try to take this matter into his own hands or go to the Ministry. But I think he would only go to the Ministry to keep you safe.” Dominique didn’t know if she should add that her father would never send her to Azkaban. No, Harry wouldn’t do that to Lily. Well right now she actually didn’t know. Harry might have some old haunting and not like the death eaters for other reasons that some people have yet to hear. She wasn’t entirely too sure on this but did what she could to make Lily feel better. Right now Dominique knew Lily needed somebody to lean on. And she would be there for her.

Ah you see those things over there? Yes the things that look like torn up pieces of paper wad together into a ball? Those would be Dom’s hopes that there would be no war. Now her hopes were gone and replaced with worry for this future war. It probably would be worse than the last one. New people and probably more advance magic. Plus Harry and everyone weren’t as young as they used to be. “Dementors?” Dom repeated just hoping to get a different answer. She never wanted to come into contact with one of those things. Her whole life she has gone about being happy! “Lily, I can tell when you are lying. And you wouldn’t be lying exactly. You can tell him you did get my wand away from me. But then I punched you. So then you told me not wanting any more damage done to your face.” And she had to smirk slightly. It was really just switching around the order of events.

“If he’s so good at telling when you are lying then he will get my name out of you no matter what. Just give it to him willingly. It might just go over better for you.” Dom said not wanting Lily to get hurt by this Jack guy. He was much older it sounded like and maybe she would stand a better chance against him. And Lily taking a bullet for her? No. Dom would be the one taking a bullet for her younger cousins. “Lily we are both in this now. Except I don’t have the mark. I’m not gonna walk away from this like nothing has happened. We are now in this together.”

The ministry keep Lilly safe... maybe the ministry keep a death eater safe? She highly doubted that one. "The ministry have no chance in whats going to come. "Lilly snapped but then calmed down, that had only slipped out. "No matter what, i'll still be in danger. Honestly? i doubt ill survive this." Lilly had finally realised that she was pretty much screwed.

She sighed and looked at Dom. "Yes dementors... all of them. Nobodys gaurding Azkaban anymore. Some werewolf called Fenrir is meant to be escaping, or Jack was helping him, something silly like that. But this time they are planning on being unstoppable. No matter what. And the first person they are going for... is dad." Lilly knew she had told too much but she needed to share it with someone and Dom was most likely the best one to know.

"Dom.. if things go bad i want you to walk away.."Lilly sighed, if things didn't turn out right, then Lilly wouldn't dare let any of the family fall for her.

How was Dom going to get it through this stubborn girl’s head that she was going to live? What fourteen year old actually thought like this? What fourteen year old wanted to become a death eater? Well obviously Lily did. But Dominique was going to change that. She would make sure she changed it. “Yeah we all know the Ministry isn’t the best. But it employs my sister and soon enough me.” Dominique said making sure that was the last they talked about the Ministry. Most of the family has worked at the Ministry at one point in time. Except Fleur. She just worked at the goblin’s bank. Which would probably be taken over quickly.

“Why are you letting them get to your father so easily?” Dominique asked Lily just trying to see why Lily would want her father dead? Harry has been through more than enough in his life, or so they were told. Why would Lily want to put her father down like this? With her becoming a death eater she pretty much lead them straight to harry. Especially if this jack guy could go into minds like Voldemort did. They probably already found out where she lived. “This is going to be just dandy.” Dom said sarcastically. Yeah another war. Just when everything was starting to get peaceful.

Walk away? That was something that Weasley didn’t do. Especially when other family members were on the line. And it didn’t matter what side. Well at least to Dominique. “I can’t promise you that Lily. You know I can’t. I’ll try but I don’t think I could.” That was lie. Dom wouldn’t even try walking away. Who knew who the death eaters would go after in her family? And Vee definitely wouldn’t be walking away. She was an auror. And Dom planned to be beside her family no matter what.

Lilly knew that Dom would speak nothing more about the ministry so she decided to let the topic drop. Last thing she needed was another punch in the face. Coming back to that, the area that had got hit was rather starting to sting. The numb moments of shock had pretty much ended and she could feel the pain. "That punch actually hurt.. " at least her nose had stopped bleeding. "I guess i don't want to meet a full Veela if that what their mean side is like" she added.

She was going to put a joke and say wait till dad sees this, but she thought she shouldn't joke about it because knowing her luck her dad might just punch her in the face too. Her dad was unpredictable everyone knew that. And that made things harder on Lilly. She didn't know what to expect. "Come on then... we best tell dad." she complained and picked up her wand, "You should find yours" she said putting it away to show she wasn't going to kill anybody. She didn't want another punch.

"Im not.. i don't think.. You know i wouldn't put anyone in danger... there just a danger to me" she wouldn't dream about hurting her dad, but here she was off to go shred his heart to pieces."I wish none of this had happened" but she knew no matter how much she wished, she couldn't change the past. This was her now.

Who would have ever thought that Dominique, the little, innocent Hufflepuff would ever punch someone? None of her cousins would. Or any other family members. Most people have never even seen her raise her voice! So it was pretty crazy for Dom to suddenly throw out a punch to her own cousin. Well everything was crazy now. No one would think Lily would want to be a death eater. Yet even when Lily said the punch hurt, Dom couldn’t help but smirk in satisfaction. It helped right? “I never had to throw one before. You know? No one would believe I punched you.” Dom said starting serious then smiling. Yeah no one would believe Lily if she told them Dom punched her in the face. “My mum has told me about some veelas. It seems like her grandmother was a full blooded veela. So she never messed around with her.”

Break the news to her uncle? Dom wouldn’t know the first words to say to him. She couldn’t just say ‘lily is a death eater’. He wouldn’t believe her and think it was another one of the pranks they always played on each other. Oh! How she wished this was a prank. “Yeah better get this over with.” Dom said quietly. She wasn’t going to like this. She never liked breaking people’s hearts. And this was even her own family! Then Lily went and picked up her wand. Dominique watched her pocket it. Yes, she was making sure her cousin wasn’t going to kill her. Trust was going to be an issue for a while. She walked away from Lily to go pick up her own wand. Normally she would complement her cousin for using some good magic. But she didn’t want Lily to think that was a good thing to do.

Dominique took a deep breath. Trying to calm herself down. There was no need to yell or scream or throw punch. No. She would remain calm for Lily’s sake. “You should have also known that no matter your family would have been behind you.” Yeah now she could tell Lily that. Dom would hope that Vee and Teddy wouldn’t go after Lily if they her with the death eaters. She was still family. Just with a bit of a troubled side.

Lilly knew that trust was a problem between them. She knew she had done pretty well to get rid of Doms wand, she felt proud. Her magic was getting better and she was loving it. Not that she would admit that to anyone, and she tried her hardest to hide the emotion from her face.

She started walking when Dom came back, from collecting her wand. "Sorry about that.." she said quietly whilst examining her dark mark, she didn't know why she just wanted to take her mind off things she guessed. That and the fact she hadn't actually had a look at it. Though it was a bad mark and everything she thought it looked pretty cool. Though it labeled her and made her out to be a bad person.

But the family sticking behind Lilly, she doubted it now. "This is going to wreck everything." Lilly said in reply. Not that she could be completely sure on how everybody would react. She guessed mum and dad would be broken hearted distraught and angry, James and Albus.. well they'd probably act like Dom. Then there was Rose and her other cousins. Most of them in shock. Lilly s grandparents would probably have a heart attack.

She wanted to change the subject but she didn't know what too. "I was thinking.. maybe i could break into the hall of Prophecys at the ministry and see what happens too me"she tried to make it sound out of interest but it came out with strong determination.

At the moment Dominique highly doubted that Lily was sorry about it. Before she definitely wasn’t. And before she wanted Dom dead and she hated her. Funny how things changed so quickly? But she knew Lily and knew that Lily was just saying that to make Dom feel better. And it worked a bit. But she knew she couldn’t have changed her cousin that quickly. It wasn’t possible. “Just don’t do it again.” She said trying not to sound harsh. Actually again her voice was quiet calm. She didn’t want to hit anyone or anything. For some reason Dominique wanted to keep her wand out. But knew that would show she had no trust for her young cousin. So she also pocketed her wand.

“Stop thinking the worst. Did they each you that too? Try thinking that your family will stick behind you.” Dominique said not liking all the negativity coming from Lily. If she was going to get Lily back to normal the girl would have to start being positive. Sure it wasn’t the best of times to have hopeful thoughts. But the thoughts helped. It lifted your spirits even if something bad for sure was going to happen. Have a little hope. It would help your mind in the long run. Might stay sane a bit longer and not jump off the sanity cliff.

Prophecies? What the hell would Lily being doing there? Dominique couldn’t help but wonder this as they walked along. “What would you be doing in there? Trying to be your father now?” Wow was she switching people fast. First death eater and then back to her father. But Dom knew there was something more to this. That Lily wanted to go there for some reason. Something was again in the Ministry that the death eaters wanted.

Lilly became little miss attitude. She didn't like the way Dom was speaking about Jack and Mag. "No actually" she snapped, she was going to continue, she was up for another argument. But then when she thought of it, her and Dom weren't in the best moods and their trust would just snap completely. So Lilly went back to being quiet, she wasn't keen on Dom carrying a wand, but then Lilly had her wand with her. She wondered if Dom would double cross her. She stopped moving at the thought. It could have just been an act. And she could just be walking into a trap. She stood in her place trying to guess if Dom was acting or not, Jack had always said they wouldn't stick by her and here she was walking with Dom to go tell her dad she was a death eater.

"The hall of Prophecys? Well i planned to go find my future" she said, not letting anymore information out as she could, she cautiously caught up with Dom but made sure she was a few steps behind her.

Literally Dom bite her tongue. She didn’t want to get into another argument. Well at least not today. Right now let Lily act like the little kid. Just showed who was more mature. And they wanted her as a death eater? Wow. Wait until she really hit her teenage years. They would get her to do nothing. Yeah this relationship was definitely getting strained. After a little bit and after the family kept Lily away from her so called ‘friends’ things should be a bit better. A thought came to her mind. Why should they use floo? Dominique was eighteen and has already passed her apparition exam. “Should we get there quicker?” Dom asked Lily. Really it was nothing to be there quicker. Get it over quicker. And if Lily kept with the attitude she wouldn’t give her cousin a choice. Just grab her arm and turn quickly thinking about her uncle’s house.

“Why would you want to know your future?” What would you do if there isn’t one? Was her next question but she didn’t dare ask it. Dommy wouldn’t want to know her future. She liked the surprise in it all. She wouldn’t want to know who she married because then she would be searching for him. And that might just ruin her future. She could be superstitious at times and really. This was the future they were taking about!

Lilly looked at Dom. "You want to apparate there." she said slowly. Lilly wanted to slow everything down not speed it up but it was obvious she wouldn't take no for an answer, well there was no question in the first place. Lilly nodded her head ok, and went and took Doms hand before she left her there.

Funny thing, Lilly had always wanted to know what she did with her life. And really she needed to see whether she was a death eater or not. "Well if i look into the future i can see if i make a great death eater or not" Lilly laughed but she doubted Dom would find it very funny. So Lilly stopped laughing. "Can we just tell dad already, i think im ready to die. "she murmered.

Dom nodded her head. Ever since she passed she has loved apparating everywhere. So much fun and so much quicker. Crazy to think that she didn’t think of this earlier. Or that she didn’t just apparate out of there once Lily told her. Lily would have never have guessed where she went. Actually that was starting to sound like a good idea. But she wouldn’t betray Lily’s trust. Well not yet. Dominique was guessing Lily would betray her trust first. Not that she wanted that to happen. But it just seemed like Lily didn’t want to break away from her ‘friends’ completely.

“That’s good.” Dom said sarcasm dripping in her tone of voice. Her cousin wanted to see if she would become a good death eater. “Is that what all fourteen year olds think now?” she asked wanting to know why Lily isn’t thinking about guys or school. Maybe even fashion. Dom knew for sure that was what she was thinking about when she was Lily’s age. Yet this girl wanted to be a death eater. Something that can ruin her life. And it would ruin her life. The death eaters all got caught or killed last time. It would happen again this time. Dominique would make sure of that once she became an Auror.

Not really waiting for her cousin’s answer she quickly turned on the spot thinking about the outside of her uncle’s house. Lily was already holding her hand so they shouldn’t get lost. This wasn’t something new for Dom. She had to side apparate before with her younger brother. Who of course was too young to learn it on his own yet.

Lilly shook her head, there were few things that Lilly really cared for anymore, but a boyfriend she longed for. She knew that Rose and Dom were already on their search, James was settling for Kelsey, not that he would admit it. She sighed. "No, i don't just want to know that, and you should know Dom, i always wanted to be a dancer." she muttered. Had most her family forgotten her dreams. A singer and a dancer thats all that Lilly wanted with her life. She never wanted to be anything special, she had enough of fame just being a Potter.

She felt like she was being squeezed through a tube, and when she opened her eyes they were outside the Potter residence. Lilly refused to move. There was no way she was going in, she wasn't ready. Dom would have to drag her up to get even close to the door.
