Shopping every where!{Open}

It was exactly twelve o'clock. Ginger had asked her father if she oculd go to Diagon Alley to go shopping. At first he wanted to go with her. BUt she used all her newly formed courage to disrespect him. At first he seemed heart broken. but then he remember he was suppose to be teaching her to be like a deatheater. Which was funny since he isn't even half the deatheater he should be.
The young newly turned eleven year old had forever chaning ginger hair. Today it was a golden ginger that seemed to be on flame. That was mainly because she was super excited to go shopping in the wizarding world. her father had gone shopping in both muddies and puries.. But he never let her to the wizarding world. Something about too dangerious.

Her father was proud that she gained courage. He had felt he compelted the long list of tsks up ahead. He had given her about 25 Galleons. nobody really knows were he got the money. Everytime Ginger asked he quickly found a way to drop the subject. He was in some concern a proffesser at Hogwarts. One day Ginger was curious and went searching through his room. She found out he used to be a pirate and had lots of gold before going back to being a deatheater. She also found out how much gold he returned with. It seemed alot more than most wizarding people realized.

She hit the bricks happy to know the order. Lilly had asked her to meet her near by the entrance. She knew that Lilly would probably near by causing choas. Or possibly she would be in a good mood and would be waiting clamly. Who knew, now..

Lilly infact decided not to go on some murderous rampage; infact the ministry were in town and she decided to keep a low profile and go back to being sweet innocent little Lilly Potter. All she had to do was say she was a Potter and the ministry didn't think twice. She walked up to the muggle enterance of Diagon Alley. Today she was going to meet Karla.

She was a few minuites late but hey a girl is always fashionably late. She fitted on a smile, how she did love shopping. She already had been to Gringrotts and retrieved some of her money. All she had left to do today was buy a new pet and pick up the monster creature spell book. Apparently it jumps around and trys to eat you so Lilly was looking forward to it.

She spotted Karla and left the rest of her mates that she had bumped into. Waving the Slytherin fourth years off she arrived infront of Karla. "So Orlando didn't kill you after our... little adventure" she said pulling out Karla's list that was hanging out her pocket. She then groaned. "This is going to take ages, but hey at least you can get some robes and stuff. The spellbooks are really simple aswell. Lilly was being helpful for once. She was wearing muggle clothes and being all smiley. The old Lilly had broke through for the day.

Ginger nodded happily. She said happy that Lilly was finally there a few minutes late. That seemed to be about an hour to Ginger. "He seemed to have dropped the subject as soon as you left. In fact he just gave me a whole History lesson over eygaptians. I wonder why.." She paused and had her finger on her lip thinking. She smiled and went back to talking."He also showed me this awesome Egyptian artifact. He claimed it was the first Wizard item ever made.

She pulled out some of her galleons to show Lilly she had alot of money. She smiled gleefully at how much her father happily gave her. She was a little surprised at how easily she left home without worrying. She seemed to have changed a little. Oddly she could not put her finger into it. She pointed to the nearest shop. It was the pet shop. It had some magical creatures on display. Ginger had brought her letter she recieved to check things off. She knew she could only choose between few pets. She decided to see what was in the shop first.

"Haha just give him the 'your meant to be a death eater' and he usually does... or atleast thats what Jack said, looks like it works" Lilly smiled. She looked down the street it wasn't as busy as normal. "Looks like we picked a decent day too come" She said and started walking listening a little to what Karla was going on about. "Haha, i bet he's after bringing it too school then; doubt he'll be aloud from what i heared the first wizards were evil and they practised evil magic. Which means i bet its cursed." Lilly had listened in very little to history, but she had picked up bits of interesting information.

She looked to where Karla was pointing. Pet shop. "Ooh so whats your first pet going to be. I had a kitten as mine, but some filthy muggle ran it over." Lilly almost snapped, she had loved that kitten to bits. But she picked up her cheery mood again. "I think this year im going to get a rat, i've never had one" she talked away as they entered the shop. She too had her purse in her clutch bag that was filled full of galeons. She started browsing. "I dont think Orlando wants you to have an owl does he?" she added jokingly.She reached the rat pen and looked over in it. Not many took her fancy so she just picked the complete black one and examined it closely. She'd always wanted a rat. Never knew why, probably from the stories her father told her about her uncle Ron and his pet rat.

Ginger giggled, she knew it was true. her father would probaly murder her if he saw her bring home an owl. She serached through the shelves. She was a little sad for the kitten that got ran over. Funny thing she knew what a kitten was. But the knowledge seemed to have given her a headache. It was a wierd headache. The kind you get when you try to remember something, but it hurts to try and remember.

She saw shelves and shelves of magical pets. They all seeme dot be normal. She wondered why this was. She cameover to some normal ooking hamsters. She thought they were cute. She explored some more and saw some normal looking parakeets. Her father told her that parakeets were very useful to even a muggle. She decided to pet one . But when she reached her fingers tthrough the cage the baby blue parakeet bite her. She watched in shock as the blood began to fall. She fell to her knees triyng not to cry. She had never really been hurt. In fact this was the most pain she ever felt. It just surged through her body sending millions of impulses.
She was hurt so bad she couldn't hear anyone around. Then suddenly a black cat... Walked up and licked the wound. Ginger opened her eyes to look at the cat. She felt ridicules for over react at such a petty wound. The black cat was actually a small kitten. probably exactly a month old. It had these bright blue eyes that could draw anyone in. It mewed when Ginger stared awed at it. The cat mew again as she slowly started petting it.

Lilly looked at Karla, she looked like she was about to burst out into tears. It was only a parakeet for goodness sakes! It was weird, this girl was like she had never been let out the house till recently. Like she was some sort of alien that was visiting the wrong planet. Lilly sighed and gave a death stare to a couple of girls that were laughing at the expression on Karla's face. She walked up to her still holding the rat, noticing the cat she decided not to even bother putting her new pet on the floor.

Lilly sighed; it was going to be a while before Karla became a death eater that was for sure. She hid her disappointment. "Karla it's nothing to get upset about, it's only small" she said looking at what she could of the cut. "Dont touch the cat! You'll get it infected!" You never knew what germs these pets could be carrying. She looked down at the two, they were a perfect match. "I guess thats the one your bringing home" Lilly grinned, though it had a hint of fake.

She helped Karla back up and left her too it. "Don't touch the parakeets, their a little bit evil" she joked calling back to Karla whilst walking of to make her purchase. The woman put the rat into a special cage. Lilly was happy with it. Not that she needed another pet, the whole family had owl's and then there was the family owl Hedwig. But they were boring and messy. She wanted change, and it wasn't like she was going home anytime soon. She stood to the side and waited for Karla to make her mind up, whilst poking her finger into the little portable rat cage. She was sure her uncle Ron had spare rat stuff that she could steal.

Ginger nodded not realizing it was a joke. She looked back at the parakeet's and said softly"They're just lonely.. I bet nobody ever going to buy them." She didn't mean to sound rude in front of the women who had taken the purchases and apperently did not like black cats. She kept looking at the cat and said in a guffy voice."Two galleons." Ginger handed the galleons over without a second thought. She picked up the kitten to leave. When then lady handed her a cage to keep it in. Ginger merely shook her head. She was way to trustworthy for her own good.

She gently placed the month old kitten in her large pockets. She then followed Lilly out the door. She watched as Lilly fiddled with her rat deep in thought. She to was in deep thought. Like for one. Why did the lady hate the cat. She did not know about superstition about black cats. Not that she probably didn't want to know..

Lilly looked at the shop keeper woman, it was obvious she was supersticious, and Lilly had a little plan, she could make all the black cats come surround the woman, now that would make Lilly laugh. But she wouldn't do it today, she had money to spend, she took after her cousin Dom in that way, though she thought Dom got away with more than Lilly since she was a part veela.

Lilly sighed, she didn't want to get all supersticious about things, she wasn't that type of girl. Those things were myths. She looked at Karla. Deep in thought she wondered, did Karla not go out when she was younger...? She seemed completely alien to most of the world. Strange, Lilly thought to herself. She decided to put her mind at rest for a little while. Her face lit up when she saw the book shop. And right by the door were the monster looking creature books. Lilly had an idea. She followed Karla in.

Taking one of the books of the shelf she untied the strap around it, it started to growl at her. "oooh. Now this will be fun" she said winking to Karla and dropping the book onto the floor where it started chasing random people. White pieces of paper flying out its mouth. Kids started scream and Lilly stood giggling away. "My my, me and Jack will have some fun with these" she said picking up another one and clutching it. "Thats me done, what do you need?" she said leaving the shopkeeper to try and catch the furious book that was currently biting somebodys foot.

Ginger was laughing not very loud. It was so small of a laugh it was hardly noticable. She waved her hand away from the books. She believed she did not need books yet. She watched the kids running and screaming. She wondered why they were so scared of a furry book. It made her wonder big time.
She looked over at the shelves and saw nothing of intrest. So she said happily "Let's go and get my first wand' She started walking out. Super slowly so that Lilly could follow close behind her.

Lilly nodded. Putting the monster book back down. She walked back out the shop. She had lost her other wand back in Hogsmeade so she would need one too.

She lead the way to Ollivanders wand shop. She stepped in and put a smile on her face. The place was empty. She went up to the front. "I lost my wand again" she beamed angelically. "Another miss Potter? My goodness i best stock up on more. What happened to this one?" Lilly laughed. "Hogsmeade happened" Ollivander chuckled and went behind to find a wand. "What type was it ?" he called out.
Lilly thought a second. "Dragon Heartstring, Cedar, 13 inches i think" Ollivander came back with an exact copy of Lillys wand except it was a light shade of pink. "You know i cant give you an exact one, every wand is different, but this should be similar." Lilly took it out the box. "Accio"she called out and a book came flying at her which she caught. "Perfect" Ollivander turned to Karla. "And what can i do for you my dear" Lilly fiddled about with her purse countain coins. Karlas come for her first wand"Lilly replied and took a step back so Karla could approach. Ollivander was already setting up a selection of wands her size.

Ginger stood in front of him waiting for the wand. She had no idea at what her's would be. She knew that her father's wand had dragon heart core. She also knew he had a twin brother. She wondered what his twin had. Could it possibbly be similar? She started to name all the woods and cores in her head. OKay, Yew,cherry, umm.. I can't remember any woods.. What about cores? Unicorn, pheonix, dragon, and umm...? Wow I know so little about wands.. Ahh man.. She turned to the own for help.

Ollivander smiled. He said gently in that obvious I-know-everything voice."I know everyone's wand. i know every wand I have ever sold. I believe your father's had a yew wood, with unicorn hair, and 14 inches." He paused in thought. He started searching and pulled out a wand. He uncased the wand and handed it to Ginger. She did nothing. So he simply sighed. Then he said "Alright, swing and point it."

She did so. The shot that came out. Had knocked over some books. It was obvious, the wand was to great. Ollivander started rubbing his chin. This was the only part he hated in his job. He just simply had to clean the mess. He decided on trying a new core. Since obviously the unicorn hair, wasn't right. He selected on with a Dragon heart core. He handed it to Ginger.

She flicked it and nothing happened. It seemed the wand was alright. Ollivander smiled and said simply "Remember this young one. Dark Yew wood, elven inches, and remember Dragon's heart core. Now off you two go. This one shall be on the house." Ollivander smiled, he was ahppy that it toke only two tries.

Ginger smiled obviously happy. She was glade to finally got her first wand. Now she could finally be taught how to do curses. Though she doubt she'll learn them very fast.

"See wasn't that easy, thanks Olivander" she called walking back out the shop. "Books or robes?" she said turning to Karla and examining her new wand. "ooh my 6th wand" she laughed. "Maybe this one want snap so easy. its got a gold handle." she pointed out and then pocketed the wand.

Ginger dropped her mouth, mentally. THis was the girl's sixth wand? What about the Dark Lord's wand? Hmm.. Do I dare ask? Ginger seriously noticed her change in teh way she acted. Something was different about her, as though her innonce had faded. She began to wonder how much of Lilly's innonce had sheded away. She heard that AJck had her over a month. Could that be all he needed? Not to mention.. What would happen in Hogwarts? Ginger could not wait to see what would happen. She jumped up and down shouting. The Robes! The Robes! She was trying really hard not to take off. Concidering the additioned fact she, had never been to Diagon Alley.
