One could usually enjoy the summer festivities. One would be spending time with family, friends, eating some great food, riding on the amusement rides, or even seeing some of the best musicians around. Everyone in the park was doing that - even the employees were enjoying themselves. Everyone except Victoire that is.
As part of her training, her mentor thought that Victoire could get a little practice in at the summer fest. He told her that sometimes, wizards get a little too rowdy and security provided by the part wasn't always the greatest. So, to get more training time in - he sent her. Victoire was extremely displeased. He allowed her to wear plain clothes, to 'blend in". That was probably the only nice part about it. Victoire was able to wear a nice summer dress - one that had pockets so she could have her wand and Ministry identification.
Vee was leaning against of the the concession buildings. Her eyes - which had darkened because of her sour mood- scanned through the crowd. She saw a few of her family members but, had earlier warned them not to distract her. It looked like they were having a lot of fun - heck. everyone did. Victoire ached to join them.
It was pretty annoying actually. She was planning on joining her family and friends for the day. Instead, at the last minute, she gets this stupid assignment. Who the heck is going to do anything that required an Auror? Well, there wer a few on her list but, she didn't think they would show. Obviously, no one else did, considering Victoire technically wasn't even an Auror yet.
Victoire sighed, and started to look extremely bored. Thoughts flowed in and out of her head - some, she rather wished wouldn't have popped in. Specificallly, thoughts about that Theodore Lupin. Annoying as that was, Victoire couldn't help it. She had been completely in love with him since her seventh year, and nothing could change that. Victoire hoped he wouldn't show up today with a date. For one, it would probably make her sad, and in a worse mood. Secondly, Victoire had a wand, and if she got extremely jealous, that would lead to anger, which would lead to an 'oops I thought you were on the most wanted list' or something of that nature.

A man wearing a white blouse half buttoned and curly black hair entered the fargrounds. His daughter, Karla Black. Was following close behind him. Her shinning bright eyes was always made her so cute. She has turned ten during the Summer. She was going to be at Hogwarts soon. Mr. Black could not wait to teach all the students.
He had decided today was going to be a great day for their small family to relax and have a great time. He had been so busy explaining to Karla about how the wizarding world works. That he needed a long possibly two-years of explaining to relax. He a female leaning against the wall. Possibly watching everybody, while mad at another. He looked closely at her face. He could tell he knew the women form somewhere. He noticed his darling moving his hand to get attention. He ebnt down and told her softly as though the words she said registered."Take this galleon and buy some Holiday candy. I have to go somewhere." He watched as the forever changing ginger colored hair had taken the galleon and ran off happily. He sighed wondering if the innocent child would ever be a strong Death eater.
He walked about ten feet form the Auror. He knew that Auror's were bad to get near. Especially if you were about to flirt and was a distant deatheater. He was recently dealing with his newest mission. Train many younglings to be great wizards of History. The only rpomblem with his job was that he had to teach them how bad Voldermort was. Which was alright, since he never liked Voldermort. In fact, he was only a death eater cause his anger forced him to be. NOw that he had revenged his estroied past and sotle the only thing tht was important of his long dead, twin brother. It seemed not to matter anymore he was a death eater.
He said gently and with a super sweet voice"Hello, Miss Weasly. It has been a while since I seen you. Last time I believe I ran into you at the ministry? You had done something wrong? Or did you achieve something.. I cannot remember." He paused a little irratated by no flinches in her body. He had always flirted with women. There was always those few who just.. Were not affected by his charm.

Merlin, what a boring assignment! Victoire knew nothing was going to happen. Nothing short of just a few wizards that have had a few too many drinks. She watched as her cousins were all laughing, having a good time with their friends. It made her feel purely jealous. Vee shook her head at herself. No, she couldn't think like that. She couldn't let emotion get in the way of her job. Victoire was here to make sure nothing happened, to keep the public safe - even if her family was in that public.
Out of the corner of her eye, Victoire caught sight of someone approaching her. Instinctively, Vic slowly reached into her pocket, and gripped her wand. She examined the wizard which approached, and recognized him as Orlando Black - a professor. Victoire had met the man once or twice at the Ministry but, nothing beyond that. Who could forget him? If it were possible, one would think he was part Veela, as charming as he was. She was not aware he was a Death Eater but, she kept her hand on her wand anyway. You couldn't be too careful these days.
Victoire was unmoved by his sweet voice and looks. Being Veela herself, only her soul mate would ever persuade her to act any different. Currently, she wasn't on speaking terms with him, or one any terms. Vee plainly gave Orlando a nod. "Mr. Black," she replied nicely. Victoire kept a straight, professional expression - although she wanted to call him a forgetful fool. "Oh, I had just received the highest score in my class on a test for auror training," she added with another nod. Victoire glanced around her, seeing nothing out of the ordinary.

Orlando, simply nodded with her and put his back against the wall. He asked in a whisper"Your on yet, another assignment, huh? Don't the ministry ever give you a break.." He sighed.. He knew that Hogwarts wouldn't let him have a break either. The only time he had off to enjoy his life. Would be when he was at home on the Holidays speding time with his little girl. As Karla came across his mind. He began to wonder where she went. She was gone a long time already.. Maybe it was just that natural worry he felt toward the girl. It just he innocence bought his heart form day one. He sighed so gently it was barely heardible. His thoughts began to wonder to the very first day he held the little forever tone changing hair colored girl in his hands. He thought back into history when he first started teaching in Hogwarts. It was in fact three years after Harry Left. This made Orlando wonder.. What was Harry Doing to this day? He looked over to where Victoire looked and got his answer. Having fun like a perfectly norma family. It seemed nothing had effects on them.. None, what so ever. Why did Jack ever even bother dealing with the darn girl? Obviously, Harry and him had way too much pride. No wonder they're always arguing about large stupid things.
The thoughts made orlando grinned at how stubborn the Order of the Phoenix and Deatheaters were. It was like two seeds in a pod. Dark and Light was not the right description. For Death eaters had some point and so did the Order of the Phoenix. Without the deatheaters life wouldn't be more enjoyable. It was like two elements combined and made a perfect grey out of the two.

Victoire half rolled her eyes. She really wasn't in a conversing mood. It was going to distract her from her job, and Vic was pretty positive her mentors were probably watching to see how she handled this lame assignment. Victoire glanced at the professor briefly before looking back into the crowd. She had to think carefully about how to answer - she wasn't suppose to really let anyone know her exact assignment. It wasn't too hard for a person to figure it out though.
Vee just gave Orlando a curt nod. "The training program is rigorous but, we are given breaks of a day or two from time to time," she explained. "Still at Hogwarts, Professor?" Victoire asked. She remembered his classes very well. She liked them well enough, for being a history class. All that informations deemed usefull in her auror classes at the Ministry. History of this world was important to know as an Auror.

"Yes, In fact. I still am. I have a thing for telling people about history. Eahc just seems to be my antural ability to teach it. Or to be a teacher mind you. " He nodded curtly at the thought. He began to wonder why the heck he was over there. for it defaintly was not just to have a ncie tiny conversation. Probably something lame like he was bored.
He sighed once more and turned form her and said softly.."Well, I am assuming you are tired of me distracting you form your job.I guess I'll go, now." He sat there a little longer as though to wait for the blonde Weasly to reply. He remembered back at school when she was always flirting with his brother. But that was long ago. Hisbrother was dead now and he was moving on.

Victoire smiled and nodded. "Well, you are one of the best Professors around," she said. Vee did really think that about him. Now, if she knew the truth about his brother's death, she wouldn't be thinking of Orlando in quite the same way. In fact, she'd probably be arresting him. For a brief moment, Victoire's memory dwelled on the late Black. She missed him slightly - she had flirted with him, probably a little too much - but, she coudln't help that. It wasn't like he rejected it either.
"Oh no," Victoire immediately protested. She didn't want to stand here all day alone,. Yes, she was suppose to but, she was pretty positive that nothing would happen here today. Plus, she kept glanced around every now and then - nothing or no wizard seemed suspicious to her. She would probably hear it later when she got her evaluation but, oh well,. "I mean, you cand stay, Professor," she said. "If you'd like," she added quickly. Victoire really had no clue what they would chat about but, just another human presense near her was enough to tide her over the next little while.

ORlando nodded but he again began to wonder where his daughter was upto. Even with the thoughts running through his head. He moved right back and stood next to Vitoire. He sat there thinking about all the things he might teah in Hogwarts. I could tlak about what had happened about 20 years ago.. Though everyone already knows all that. Maybe I should talk on how it all started. That would be intresting. I bet nobody knows everything about the Great Dark Lord. Hmm..... Or maybe I teach first term about the leged of the three brothers. Or possibly teach how the magical world was created. I bet everyone would love that one. Then again.. They probably would rather be in Hogsmead doing uneducaitonal things. Darn kids....
He sighed as he thought of how many kids actually cared for history. As he began to think of Hogwarts he started tlaking.. About guess what.. History."Man.... Remember when McGonagall had her hat turned into a mouse? I cannot remember who did that. but i do remember the whole transformation class cracking up.. Wasn't the lesson who to turn cups into pets?" He grinned staying perfectly charming.

Victoire sighed, getting bored already. This was probably the worst assignment she'd ever been on. Watching other people have fun was just plain dull. Sure, she could enjoy the nice weather..walk around the park but, it wasn't the same. Vee wasn't apart of the fun, and that bothered her.
Vic tilted her head slightly, digging up the old memory. She faintly remembered the situation but, her eyes had been on someone else that day. Victoire forced out an amused chuckle. "I faintly remember it. She got pretty mad - I remember that much," she said. Suddenly, she felt rather dumb for having the Professor stay. She couldn't think of anything they could possibly speak of but, it was better than being alone.

Orlando felt awkward after what she said. he was kind of in an awkward place. He remember running of joining pirates and much more. But just holding a conversation with an auror trainee on a mission. Was somewhat difficult. You would understand if you were there with him. He sighed frustrated by how difficult it was out here. HIs thoughts again began to wonder. He wondered if the Head of Hogwarts allow him with his lesson. He really wanted to do egyptian this year. Though he bet the Head would disagree about it. Concidering Egyptian wizards were evil back in the day. In fact they put curses on everything. Making it very difficult to steal there items. THis really bites as he thought about it.
