Daniel casually made his way down high street at Hogsmeade, glad for a day to himself so he could relax. He needed to relax because of hard yesterday. He didn't want to be alone so he didn't go to his estate. It was a Hogsmeade weekend for Howarts so probably all allowed and intersted students went out for a trip instead of staying in the castle. Too bad. It was quite cold so he tied his scarf harder. The wind whipping through his hair and robes as he made his way to the Three Broomsticks. He stepping inside the pub, eyes doing a quick scan, a few adults having drinks and talking amongst themselves and lots, lots of students. Not a very good perspective but maybe his niece and nephew were there? He made his way over to the bar and ordered himself a glass of firewhisky. He looked around the pub searching for a place to sit. He walked over to an empty table and took a seat. He lit a cigarette and took a draw of it before he sipped his drink. Nothing inside there seemed interesting enough for him as he scanned the room again with his eyes. He really would not mind a company right now, female company as he was so used to have.
People say that alcohol is a good excuse. Teenagers and other young males possibly have some freaking code. For Example there are these rules that guys have, an understanding as to what constitutes cheating. It's not cheating when you're in a different area code - not to mention state! Say you were sleeping with two girls at the same time, it's not cheating because they cancel each other out. Or if you're too wasted to remember... It is not cheating. Because if you can't really remember it, it never really took place. And Daniel believed that when he was younger. He still believed that sometimes but what he believed excused his slight anger for no particular reason right now wasn't only alcohol. He always was vehement and if he couldn't get what he wanted with simple words he took it by force.
He was a party guy. But this time he needed some peace. He didn't feel like partying today. He looked around to see how the pub was getting more and more crowded that day. Dan didn't really feel like staying in a place that would give him headache so he just finished up his drink, stood up and left the pub.
